781  Economy / Reputation / Re: Content written by AI, spamming the forum. on: June 13, 2023, 04:31:05 AM
In the end, no one can prove if the accused user is using AI or not because these AI-detecting tools are not accurate, and not reliable at all like @KingsDen said as well. TBH, it will be hard to detect which of the posts here are being created by AI or not, and knowing that these AI detecting tools aren't reliable, it will take time before we know which posts are created by AI or not with high accuracy.
It's not hard to detect, there some telltale signs that someone is using AI for writing their posts, just look at the grammar, not a lot of people are using grammar checking apps to checks for grammatical errors in their post, although that's still not enough to determine if someone is using an AI. Another one that I can think of is trying to find if there's an emotion in the post, it's kind of weird but I think an AI generated post will sound more logical compared to someone who has written their own post, there's emotion in the latter because it's personal.
782  Economy / Reputation / Re: The whole reputation system is pure garbage on: June 13, 2023, 01:46:12 AM
So, can you suggest alternatives to current trust system? Ok, even if red trust from inactive members would be removed, your account still would be full of negative feedbacks. You want to say that all these feedbacks aren't valid? OK, I'm not going deep into it and argue about it.
I only can see problem in some cases with feedbacks from inactive DT members, but I don't think that your case is one of these.
Removal of the negative feedbacks from inactive members will defeat the purpose of that system, the feedbacks serves as a warning and caution for other people that might engage the person that has the feedback in the future so the system works just fine. Of course OP would say that it's unfair because he got almost all of the DT members on his bad side not to mention that the feedback is mentioning extortion which I think is a pretty serious offense, I mean isn't that a crime irl? His case isn't definitely one of those unfair ones, DT members in my experience in the forum aren't vindictive and logical when it comes to giving someone the ever infamous red trust.

You are reasoning with your own point of view, and you have stood in the position of different people while talking about this issue, don't take the matter from your own point of view but see the reality of it, I don't have the intention will have to explain it to you better, because I think the experience is different but it will also be realized how the problem is.
What do you mean be reasoning with my own point of view? How else would I formulate my "reasoning" or opinion if not my own point of view and anyone is welcome to challenge that "reasoning". Also, what reality are you talking about? I just said in the quote that I doubt that you're really surprised, I do agree with you on the experience though.

~
Fine, I might watch it in the future, but my sincere advice to you, you are actually contradicting your own arguments, from the above you mentioned and on to this it has turned you into a contradiction.
What arguments are you talking about? What contradictions? The stuff that I've only talked about is that I doubt your reaction to the plethora of media that has bitcoin as the center of the theme or the story and the easing of your worry about information distortion. Also, I wasn't recommending that documentary to you, it's a general recommendation.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Also Girls Should Be Taught About Bitcoin on: June 12, 2023, 01:24:33 AM
Though I don't know the ratio of male to female on this forum I can tell you that you will be amazed if there is an option for sex identity on the profile that there are girls that have been into this for a long period which I'm proud to be one. There is nothing like gender bias in Bitcoin, you like you invest.
The bias in gender in bitcoin is just an illusion and to be honest, the people that keeps pressing on that issue are the ones that's having that has real issue with the bias. Bitcoin has always been inclusive and I think that the reason why we think that there's few women in this space is in the matter of interest, I am not entirely sure but if we look at the demographic in technology, there's more men than women involved and from that assumption I conclude that it's probably from interest in tech as to why we don't have that many women. Hopefully things are changing with more people interested in investing and more people wanting financial freedom.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden administration will kill Bitcoin! Says Ron DeSantis. on: June 11, 2023, 08:11:40 AM
Maybe this is just a strategy he wants to announce when the campaign gets underway. This is not surprising given the fact that bitcoin is a rather sensitive subject, so his statement wants to attract the attention of people and investors related to bitcoin. As for bitcoin, it's hard to resist being shut down or scrapped by any single entity. So, instead of trying to kill it, why not accept it like some other countries are doing?
No maybes, this is definitely his strategy, he wants to secure the vote of the crypto population and what better way to do that than to say what they want and need to hear about bitcoin and I saw some clips of his speech about bitcoin, he seem genuine about his support with bitcoin but I think that if he ever gets elected, the people behind the curtain as I like to describe our real masters will try to influence his decisions that might make bitcoin much stronger in USA.

I think that the obvious reason as to why they don't accept is as Ron DeSantis has said in the quote of the OP, they can't control it and we know that any government that wants to assert control over their domain will kill or remove anything that they have no way of controlling, it would be nice if there's coexistence but so it happens, we are living in a greedy world.

787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was to be physical product? on: June 11, 2023, 05:57:34 AM
In the beginning no one thought much about Bitcoin, because very few people knew about Bitcoin. But maybe there were many people who knew about Bitcoin but didn't know how to access it.Bitcoin is currently considered by people as an asset.  It is very important that at one time many people did not have the money to buy Bitcoin, although they were interested in Bitcoin.  You are right Bitcoin is a great personal investment to manage on your own.Bitcoin is for virtual money, if Bitcoin is to be converted into gold then it has to live with the virtual world.
I knew some people who knew about bitcoin as far as 2011, but they don't know where to get it and back then, online transactions is not as trustworthy as the present so they have a hard time getting their hands in one. One probable reason why there's so few people that have the money to buy bitcoin back then was that most of them was probably young people who doesn't have their own money or the appeal of bitcoin isn't there yet.

If bitcoin were a physical product, it wouldn't reach what it has reached so far as a virtual currency because of logistics, there won't be a lot of people that will be able to get their hands on it and not to mention that they will shelved together with other fad like pet rock except that there's a notion that it will increase in value. Bitcoin will become a coin collectible if it was a physical product.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most worth watching Bitcoin movies on: June 11, 2023, 02:57:14 AM
I'm surprised that there are so many movies about bitcoin, and looking at some of the comments, I can somewhat understand some of the issues about whether they are really talking about bitcoin, or just using bitcoin as a gimmick. any other. Media, entertainment, education abound, and the fact that bitcoin is appearing more and more in the places we observe is a somewhat positive signal, but does not mean that the information is there. share with the right goal, many things only distort the view of those who are new and outside of the field.
You just need to search bitcoin and then add movies or documentary to your search engine and you would be given out the results that you're looking for. I doubt that you're really surprised because bitcoin's been around for a decade and I don't think that content creators and filmmakers will pass up on bitcoin as a theme of their documentary or movie. You needn't worry about the distortion of information, there's a lot of smart people out there that can filter out the bad information about bitcoin.

They're not movies OP, most of the titles that you've listed are documentaries and they're pretty different from a movie, it's just semantics though so who cares? Right? I recommend watching the Bitcoin Gospel, hard to watch if you are close minded because it talks about the negatives and suspicions that many detractors have pointed out over the years but all in all it's a good documentary. Accidentally watched that documentary while scrolling through my social media account.
789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: marriage is everybody problems! on: June 10, 2023, 09:08:57 AM
Dude, I think you should consider using Grammarly or put your thoughts in your native language first then use Google Translate your native language thoughts into English, I tried to understand what you're trying to say but to no avail. Are you talking about marriage? Economy? Or are you trying to point out similarities between economy and marriage.
790  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Education in Financial Literacy on: June 10, 2023, 08:19:21 AM
Education can help people understand financial literacy. Through education, people can learn basic financial concepts and skills, understand financial markets, investment strategies, risk management, and better manage their finances.
Education is general, what you're talking about is financial education, let's assume your "education" is financial education, I do agree with that notion but what you're saying is already a given thing when we talk about financial literacy. Also, not all those things that you've listed is needed to be learned if you want to be financially literate, not everyone who is financially educated does investing although it's rare, some of them just wants to be better at managing their household finances. Also worth mentioning that financial market is a big concept, and I think it's something that's too advanced if not worthless for someone who just wants to be better at budgeting their money.

Besides reading from different sources to gain more financial knowledge and get more familiarized with the concept, I think it's also important that we also should ask questions, be inquisitive when it comes to what you're reading like is the author really on my side here? Does it benefit my goal? Is the contents appropriate to the current times or financial climate? Better to be knowledgeable and wise, remember that.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: Dedollarisation fails before starting, Russia and India halt rupee trade on: June 10, 2023, 05:11:24 AM
If pays attention to the direction of the de-dollarization concept, it refers to reducing dependence on the US dollar as the dominant currency in international trade and finance. Russia and India have previously expressed interest in increasing trade in their local currencies to reduce dependence on the US dollar, but these efforts have faced challenges. One such challenge is the limited acceptance of this currency in international trade and finance. Yes, it's very likely that Dedollarization failed before it even started as you mentioned.
It's not limitied acceptance because these BRICS countries have ironed out all the details for their plans so I do believe that this is not the case of acceptance, I think that it's the case that they're still trading with other countries with dollars and they probably don't have enough dollar for their trades with the other countries. Not to mention, that the hold of dollar in the international market is so strong and deep, they need a lot of countries to completely abandon the dollar for international trade before they can make any difference. Don't get me started with politics too, that's another matter that has a big influence why this dedollarization isn't working as intended.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake support? on: June 10, 2023, 02:24:11 AM
Like they say, change is Constant and we're in the Crypto era, I believe the Chinese government realised that sooner and had no option but to adapt to the system which I feel it's a bold step and in the nearest future many other countries would also adopt Crypto Currency as a legal tender and means of payment for goods and services as well.
They didn't realize, they're well aware of the power and profitability of crypto so they do a push and pull approach because they want the best for the party and the worst for the people.
793  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: June 09, 2023, 07:37:55 AM

This is not a problem of the nation, but rather an individual issue of not being willing to work for a small salary due to being accustomed to higher wages. I understand that everyone has different living needs, so there might be other reasons why this person chooses to seek higher-paying jobs. The state is never accountable for our poverty. In fact, the president must care for other citizens whose conditions are even worse than ours. We are solely responsible for ourselves and our well-being.
That is a stupid statement, they don't work for small wages, they don't work because the small wages isn't a livable wage, your statement is defending businesses that pay dirt cheap to their workers, have you seen the pay raise that many union workers ask? They're not a lot, they're smart enough to know the limit. Give me evidences that the state isn't accountable? Say if there's a war, will there be a continuous prosperity in that state?
794  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: June 09, 2023, 06:18:59 AM

A right government always does the best and makes improvement in the economy amidst all situation in the world Market. Inflation can be kept under control through its policies. Most of the government doesn't consider much about the micro economy, which means the contribution from the small scale industries. The focus will be much on the macro level and when something unexpected hits, the economy suffers much. Most of the countries that took care of the small scale industries and supported in its progress weren't affected much by the inflation.
Give me a country that cared for their micro economy? I really want to see if they did good and do they have policies that's helpful to their economy. It's no-brainer to focus your attention on macro scale when it comes to economy, that's where the billion dollars in profit come in compare that to the combined businesses in micro scale, it won't leave a sizable dent. I'm no economist so I'd like to be disproven that macro is better than micro.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: June 09, 2023, 05:12:00 AM
What we have to understand is that expenses will continue to increase because prices will continue to rise following inflation, of course we have to be creative by continuing to increase income, there are many things we can do to increase income, if we have special abilities in making videos then we can become YouTubers and very large income opportunities.
You know another thing that can help? Voting the right people to run your country, no one wants to talk about it but it's a big factor why inflation in uncontrollable, everyone talks about increasing your income stream but no one is talking about pay raise that matches the inflation and making lobbying an illegal practice.  There's a lot of opportunities but so is the amount of people and not everyone can do what those opportunity demands
796  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: June 09, 2023, 03:33:59 AM
I have been long debating with myself whether I want to do lending because I do have a considerable amount of bitcoin being hodled but given that there's people out there that will default their loans, I say that it's too risky and I don't think it's worth to do so. Maybe if you really know the person and you have a way to find them so he/she can pay the loan, then at that point the risk is mitigated.
797  Economy / Economics / Re: Going to war means let's ulter the economic progression on: June 08, 2023, 05:27:19 AM
I think they should be able to make peace soon because it really affects the economy in European countries. yes, I saw several posts a few months ago showing that gas in Europe has increased several times more than before, the losers are the civilians who should not be involved in this war. I think this is a matter of the top brass, hoping that the war will end soon and the economy between the two camps will return to stability, it will make people's lives much better.
I don't think peace is in the table right now, I think that the only way that the war will stop is if Ukraine gives up the part that's already occupied or they could revoke their invitation to join NATO, Putin has a lot of resources and even with all the sanctions, in a war of attrition they will be victorious. Economy wise, I don't think we're going to see any green pastures anytime soon even if the war ended, the cost of the destruction will be of paramount importance to be addressed.

800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: One or more trading strategies, which one do you prefer? on: June 07, 2023, 03:53:07 AM
Combining the right strategy is intensive though, it has to be that what you're combining needs to cover the weakness that each strategy has, it will be worthwhile to do this but if you don't want that maybe just one strategy will work for you. At the end of the day, it's a matter of preference.
