781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 05, 2023, 07:14:10 PM
Lottery and Gambling are close but there are still differences between them. Asides taxes paid by gambling operators and casino owners to the government which benefits them, there is little benefit. In gambling mostly, the gambler plays against the gambling house who hope to make profit from their loss. But in lottery, it is not as regular as gambling and people compete against themselves for a price, that is why the proceeds from it can be invested into the country. You can hear government lottery, but not government gambling.
It seems that in your statement, there is an opinion that the lottery benefits society more, as its proceeds can be invested in the country, while gambling might have less benefit beyond taxes. Right? However, could factors like social consequences and potential issues associated with gambling be taken into account when comparing these two forms of entertainment?
They are both under the gambling category and I think he is pertaining to the casino instead of gambling to compared on lottery by means of tax benefits.

Lottery is being played national so there’s really a huge difference with the revenue and benefits but still both are same purpose of entertainment and they are not different to each other because both involved betting of money. They only differs on who operates it and whatythe coverage audience of the game.
782  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 05, 2023, 06:12:34 PM
Buying a business is not fit for anyone because your improvement is very limited while you need huge capital to improve its current version because that original business will not gonna be close at the first place if this is profitable. It’s either a bad management or bad product which needs a total revamp before it will work.

I will go for strting my own business so that I will have freedom to choose what business I will do and have a fresh marketing to hype the market.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 05, 2023, 06:08:28 PM
Crowd gathers when theres a casino house in the area/city. Only means people are socializing and casino houses is a place to meet people from higher places and meet friends. Thats one benefit besides entertainment.

I’m not sure if people wants to socialize when they to the casino because I personally doesn’t care to others while gambling because I’m focus on my own game. It’s very hard to communicate when there’s money involved because the person might experiencing bad day on gambling while my words might trugger his anger.

Just take MGM grand as an example in Vegas where big boxing matches usually are held. The city becomes a tourist spot also.

Boxing is sports although most of the viewers is placing bets on the match.  Cheesy

integrating lightining network would be cool, of course, makes it cheaper for people to transact.

I really like this too. Now that exchanges supports bitcoin lightning network. I think many user will be interested to use this chain especially those Bitcoin maximalist.
If Duelbits adds the lightning bitcoin network it's clear other casinos will follow in their footsteps eventually even though this isn't the first but at least if there is the convenience of fast bitcoin transactions it will really help encourage new users to try gambling and playing using their bitcoins on the lightning network. Moreover, many of the biggest crypto exchange sites are currently using this network.

I just think they are still waiting for the demand before they implement it because there’s still few crypto hodlers use lightning network since complex than the L1 Bitcoin. The transaction fee and speed of Bitcoin is also back to normal so I guess this feature will not be in demand for now but I’m sure this network will be appreciated when Bitcoin mempool experience again another overload data just like what happened before.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your reasons for adopting cryptocurrency? on: August 05, 2023, 04:36:56 PM
Lately majority of people find theirselves within the crypto space, but many of them do not really understand the actual reasons for adopting crypto currency other than to make profit, what are your own reasons for adopting cryptocurrency?

I have financial freedom to store, send and receive money without any worries that my assets will lost compared to banks that you are reliant to a centralized service which you can’t access your funds in case they are bankrupt or temporarily out of service. Cryptocurrency makes the financial industry more accessible and secured.

Banks has a limited amount that can be insured and the exceeding balance will be lost if ever they file bankruptcy. On cryptocurrency, Your coin will never lost unkess you exposed your private key.

curious about Duelbits 3.0 too
maybe there are new games coming? if yes, which ones?

a website redesign and new style would be interesting to see as well

The possibility of new game is very slim since they just recently released poker games on their house game. Probably the design and website performance will be their upgrade focus for smoother gaming experience.

integrating lightining network would be cool, of course, makes it cheaper for people to transact.

787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 03, 2023, 05:55:41 PM
Wagering is an activity to redeem gambling bonuses, increase the rank of your account in a casino and a whole series of other advantages ...
Share your opinion and what are your tips or tricks on this topic

Actually I will not suggest anyone to wager merely for bonuses or any other perks provided by the casino.
We always need to have in our mindset that the bonuses wont be really worth with the risk of money you need to spend.
Do not wager for bonuses, but wager to play normally and let the bonuses come as a side bonus.
However if you want a tips or tricks, most people will play with 1% HE games such as dice with the highest winning chance.

Exactly, The amount of money being loss on the House edge is much higher to the potential rakeback or other casino bonuses therefore it’s really useless to wager for the purpose of claiming the bonus. I once done this to claim a high percentage rakeback but the end result is devastating because I loss all my bankroll in the process while I only get few dollars for the bonus.

It’s very hard to maintain a cool headed gambling experience especially if you don’t have a hoal aside from claiming bonuses on your wager.
788  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Automatic sending of payment to specific address on: August 03, 2023, 04:01:23 PM
If you're using Electrum daemon you can send funds using CLI without hosting a full node. It shouldn't be difficult sending funds using CLI automatically from cronjob. Why don't you ask your sig campaign manager to send funds to the foundation?
I will only send part of my signature campaign earnings to foundation and I don’t want to cause trouble for my campaign manager to do this kind of task because he is very busy. Actually, This is just me being lazy on doing repetitive task every week.

You can actually run electrum as a daemon and run a systemd timer or a cronjob to automate weekly payments.

Here's some more info in case you're interested: https://electrum.readthedocs.io/en/latest/cmdline.html#how-to-use-the-daemon

Once the daemon is started, you can even use the json rpc api, this reply basically tells you how you can do this: https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/2400#issuecomment-676127361

Do keep an eye on your opsec tough... I would not recommend loading a wallet on a publicly accesible server while being funded with more than pocket change.

I really appreciate this reply, I get the idea but sadly I don't have enough programming skills to write a code for myself even though I understand the guide. I'm afraid that I might messed it up. Is there a video tutorial available for an easy guide to create this? Thank you 🙏

790  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: August 03, 2023, 03:35:03 PM

Overall, I think all exclusive slots on Bitcasino.io are great and I'm trying them from time to time. Like this one I found recently, Bitcasino Sweets.

My biggest win on it was only 2.5x of my bet so far,

but maybe it's just a beginning. Wink

Try it, @michellee, my friend. Good luck! I wish you to win big!

Wow, This slot game seems very tempting to play. It really looks like very sweet to play. What slot provider this exclusive Bitcasino slot games? I don’t see this when browsing on my Bitcasino account. I wonder if this game is from hacksaw provider since the design is same on hacksaw slot games.

I’m late to see this post but I definitely list this on my weekends slot hunt. I will try to use my premium VPN on my desktop to check this game. What’s the maximum multiplier on this slot game?
791  Bitcoin / Electrum / Automatic sending of payment to specific address on: August 01, 2023, 09:36:20 AM
Do automatic transfer for funds is possible on Electrum? Example, I want to send specific amount of BTC to an address every week/month in regular basis without the need to open my electrum wallet.

I'm planning to commit funds on a foundation using my signature campaign earnings every week. Is this possible on Electrum? If not, what wallet do you recommend doing this kind of transaction?

Your help will be appreciated. Thanks
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: July 31, 2023, 04:08:01 PM
I knew that there's many topic like this in the past that asking advice about loaning for gambling. The intention of this thread is determined what's the actual feeling when you are using a loan money on gambling knowing that there's an interest rate on your borrowed money which means you already lose part of your money before you start gambling.

I saw many high rank users here that asking for loan and directly deposit the loan amount on gambling account. I want to know what's the experience on using loan money. Is there additional pressure on gameplay or just the same using regular money without an interest rate.

Gambling using borrowed money is highly not recommended, because we cannot be sure that our game will be profitable or not. If our game is good, maybe we will be able to return the money we borrowed along with the interest, but if the game is not good, it means that we have to pay off the debt with interest and at the same time bear the loss from defeat.
Moreover, people who gamble using borrowed money tend to be impatient and they will be trapped in a cycle of debt to finance their gambling. And because of that, gambling using borrowed money is not recommended.

There’s always an exception to this. Loan money is only not good if you don’t have the capability to repay it on time. People like me that rely on salary that given every 5th and 20th of the month find loan very helpful because it can give me the money to use now instead of waiting for the payday.

I don’t do this gambling using loan money but I always purchased using my credit cards  and pay for the small interest if I need the items now since we can’t fast forward time while we can repay borrowed money.

It’s same on gambling if you want to play now while your payday still far away. There’s just some involved here when you become addicted but we are assuming on this discussion that you are a normal gambler that just ask loan for gambling.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: July 31, 2023, 03:28:25 PM
Maybe the experience in Primedice years back is a big lesson for other casinos to always check big winning before release withdrawal, but how about smaller withdrawal? As someone who found a way to cheat the game may do it smaller amount but continuously to make it looks normal.

Casino nowadays is not only checking huge withdrawals but also the win rate of the account. There’s a lot of players acccount being freeze because casino investigate their account due to consistent profit despite their balance is only ranging from 1k to 5k USD.

Casino knew exactly on how this scammer think due to a lot of experience of rigging their games and abusing their bonuses.
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 31, 2023, 12:24:45 PM
I remember their Christmas giveaways years ago wherein they're giving free spins and cash (if you're lucky) through daily gift box, that's very generous of them. Though the next giveaway is a bit different since there's a challenge to get a reward, it's still better specially for a regular gambler. Because you have a chance to be rewarded while earning a ticket for the raffle. Well it's all in the past now and i'm certain there's more to look forward.

Anyway, what slot games can you recommend? I'm in the mood to play now because it's been a while since my last decent win.
It's an interesting giveaway done by Duelbits which is very generous, because there are no specific wagering obligations for an account to be able to take part in the giveaway apart from making a deposit with a very small amount and the free cash you get from the giveaway there are also no wagering or rollover rules from deposits.

Duelbits already introduced challenge on their giveaways unlike the previous giveaway which is literally just pure cash drop and free spin without any challenge. Last year Christmas giveaway requires a wagering on a certain games before you can win the daily rewards but still they cash drop and free spin on random day.

The adjustment is good for the company since they will save money for marketing and at the same time get profits from player that will try to complete the challenge.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - why no major pump? What to expect now? on: July 31, 2023, 11:57:52 AM
I am still holding , want a price of $1.25 before I even think of selling that would be a 3x for me

Wait until sec will be declaring give up against XRP foundation and this coin gonna mooning again. XRP is a banker coin and it will never lose against SEC.  Cool

What’s the logic behind XRP coin for a guaranteed win against SEC? If that’s your logic then SEC will surely win against XRP since they are the one who regulates cryptocurrency which is the case now of the SEC.

All I can say is the judge should look on all the merit on the case. It’s too early to celebrate but I really hope that XRP will win since SEC won will result to further crackdown on other crypto project.

All of coins already owned by the founder already dumped since a long time ago. XRP gonna back again to the above 1 dollar. XRP rocket her is still in preparation to take off. It will be mooning soon.  Cheesy

XRP has no burn feature, Regardless of the team holdings quantity, it’s supply still the same which affects the valuation of the token.
796  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hhampuz using his position on forum to vindicate scams on: July 31, 2023, 10:51:10 AM
Trust feedback is meant for expressing your experience towards a service or user. It’s main use is to give feedback on a deal done between two parties involved. Trust feedback was originally dedicated for the marketplace so that use will have an idea on what’s they will experience when trading on specific user.

Hhampuz expressed his own experience towards rollbit and the scam accusation doesn’t related on Hhampuz deal to rollbit. Trust feedback is not moderated which means a user is free to give a positive feedback on any user as long as they have a successful deal. Trust feedback and adding someone on trust list is two different things.

Team Liquid become sloppy on game 2. I don’t know what happened to them and who’s calling their decision making but their buy back and roshan priority is so bad. What the heck they are doing on the last clash on roshan, They keep fighting despite they don’t have near building to TP when they buy back and they keep doing buy back 1 by 1.

They rely too much on Zai that didn’t deliver properly because he keeps engaging on clash instead focusing on enemy barracks.  The choker liquid might come again for whoever bullshit calling their move on game 2. I will consider my bet as loss already.  Cheesy

Zai actually has a good lane and play his role properly because he manage to be ahead on gold in mid game. The problem of Liquid is their cores has less gold for items since they invest too much on Naga while Void manage to get so OP can burst both Nisha and Micke.

Team Spirit is so good on game 2 and they are very good on securing Roshan while Team Liquid is having a hard time on vision due to techies bomb all over the map.

800  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should P2P on centralized exchanges should be called? on: July 30, 2023, 02:08:07 PM
If anyone advertises P2P when it's not, it should be illegal. I have no idea what type of P2P you are talking about but most of the centralized exchanges I know does a P2P keeping itself as a escrow system. Having a escrow in P2P don't make than non-P2P.

P2P meaning already expand just like staking which is originally to pledge your token to help for blockchain delegation which is now also use on DeFi as staking meaning holding your tokens on a smart contract address in exchange for profit yield.

The currency P2P that being use by the exchange is what many average joe crypto people understand its meaning and not the real peer to peer network like the Bitcoin transactions. Exchange use P2P concept because trader directly trade to each other without interference of exchange. This is the centralized P2P like staking on DeFi. We can't control what will be the definition of a P2P because there's no copyright on this word.
