784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: California senator filed a bill to allow payment of state services with Bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 06:37:47 AM
Without this bill,,, it was not illegal anyway to do that right? Or do I understand that actually for state services, it was only possible to accept us dollar? Because it does not make sense Coinbase is legal in USA and advertising everywhere including on Wall Street and yet you need to legalize allowing to pay for state services in Bitcoin.

It was just not possible, you would have to first sell Bitcoin for USD, and then pay the tax with that USD.

This bill basically streamlines that process, as you just send Bitcoin directly.

Think of this as a place that now accepts credit cards, and before only accepted cash.

So even with Coinbase app which it seems on Twitter and reddit a lot of Americans are doing, when they are paying for it,,, this is actually all just allowing them to sell Bitcoin for USD and then using the dollars to pay? I all the time thought people were paying Coinbase with BTC. I know it is not even real Bitcoin as in not on chain,,, but I thought so.
785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: February 23, 2022, 02:03:43 PM
We have momentum downwards, below the 2 day average BTC price action has failed to venture above a simple measure which for now means we continue negatively.    It has to put that in some doubt for any optimism to appear.   Its not held a higher range, next thing to speculate is holding above prior lows.

Yes,,, I have to sadly agree here. A lot of people are talking about the greens now and it seems foolish to think a big recovery is on its way just because of some retracement back. I think the bears do not even need to try so hard now because stockmarkets are just pushing every trader confidence down and crypto is only experiencing the shared negativity.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: February 23, 2022, 12:55:30 PM
I did not need CMC to tell me that  Grin ,,, generally if BTC recovers, everything else in top 100 also moves up but seriously,,, are we getting excited about 8.2% increase for a low cap altcoin?

We still cannot breathe until Bitcoin recovers past 40k, this could all get worse if things in Russia/Ukraine escalate and I guess it is happening already.
787  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Southampton FC Main Sponsor 🚀🚀 on: February 23, 2022, 12:04:13 PM
Thanks mate. Issue solved by asking there support. Just like what you said, There's a maximum winning amount allowed on one of my bet on e-sports which giving the error. They tell me that the automatic adjusted bet is the only amount that I can bet which makes sense.

The support gives me an answer in an instant which is impressive.

Great that you solved it quickly. This is a common issue in esports I think mainly because the market is small and the risk of colluding is high (to my guess from what I read before). This is just to prevent people from taking advantage.

Go for regular popular sports. I never met a limit in football Smiley Not that I bet a lot but in multibets you can x100 at 2 mbtc easily  Cool
788  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Donation Campaign For 15-Year-Old Swimmer Lana Pudar on: February 23, 2022, 10:42:26 AM
I like the idea initially,,, and I am always supporting such campaigns but after reading the posts I do have some concerns. The first, and I hope I am wrong, is that Lana and her team seem to know about crypto and seem to already be doing some things. We need to have the full picture first before anyone supports anything. Second is more important to me, that she does not even know about it,,, and because I have been bitten before I feel a lot more assurances need to be made correct? I would actually prefer the team knows about it and supports it. And we find a way to manage the spending of the funds collected.

Pmalek, feel bad for you. Maybe should update the thread to say they cannot be contacted and people here should not donate. Good intentions but sad no response. Better luck next time hah
789  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: February 23, 2022, 10:08:36 AM
A few comments from me about the issue above.

Firstly,,, I really also hate people who flood chat with that kind of issue. And you often see this in all previous campaigns I saw, the ones who keep flooding complaints usually are the least helpful and constructive. I have alerted our campaign manager in the past,,, of certain users who I feel have not contributed to the forum, and I hate doing it because I know everyone should have a chance, but sometimes, this behavior makes me annoyed because we have a duty to the campaign to provide quality, and to do our best, and a duty to this gambling sub forum also to contribute to the crypto economy in a useful way.

Secondly,,, for those who keep adding nonsense spam and complaints. Please think about the service you SUPPORT and PROMOTE. Help them deal with things properly and supportively. Act not just like a customer and bounty hunter but as an ambassador and representative. Be proud of them. You chose them, did you not?

I always love new sites,,, more competition is better for all involved but I totally agree, this site is not even ready.

Also,,, Chainlink security issues with crosschain, are you sure gamblers want to use crosschain for gambling when they (or at least me) are unable to verify for ourselves about the security of the smart contracts?

as sunsilk also says, "chance of winning" should be "payout, and not in %. You totally need to study dice sites first OP!

2 low scoring Champions Leagues games! Let us see if beloved Manchester United helps us again tonight if it is the pick later Wink

Do not worry Saint-loup and Eternad,,, it happened to me also before the last 2 Blackjacks. I got "lazy" and decided to not bet on everything and that caused me to miss 2 in a row,,, then for the last ones I made sure I bet. Sometimes this is even happening past midnight but if I happen to wake up I check and if there, I take it.

Just notify this thread or make it your browser start page we always update the direct link so you cannot miss it! Never miss it because it always comes sooner than you expect  Cool

793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 22, 2022, 02:15:11 PM
Worst round for a lot of us I guess,,, and just not so long ago I was thinking I was doing "well" in a new league and I got 1 result and 1 close.

MoSalah is really the impressive person of all, 3 exact scores to show us how to get yellow cap in a tough round, and how to not concede #1 spot. 6 draws this week, so whoever loves picking draws, congrats.  Cool Cool

Not a single of us got any slam point!
794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Proper risk management? on: February 22, 2022, 12:11:28 PM
this is a very good result and I hope it stays that way, but on my journey I have been trading with longer periods of time, trading for 5 or 15 minutes does not help at all, on the contrary, it brings losses, in this cryptocurrency market just to make a profit and I need people to be patient and a little greedy. for example if the person is day trading bitcoin on a 5 or 15 minute chart and another person is trading a 4h chart or more or even daily, the person who is trading 4H on the same daily will have more profit as well At least that's what I've observed

But should not trading be about not watching the screens all of the time and just spending time on charting and analysis,,, then going into the platform to make your orders and then leaving it to execute (or if using strategy with bot then just entering parameters into the bot).

I think the main issue with risk is that if you allow yourself to manage it, you cannot predict the levels of risk.

But allow a strategy to manage it,,, and you predict exactly your limits.

I'd have said it's more of a shit-brown.
💩 BitcloneShitVision 💩

Hey,,, even shit can be environmentally friendly. Unfortunately, crypto shit does not even contribute to nutrients to help plants grow and make soil fertile.

I always laugh when I see people throw their alts out there and tell people it is environmentally friendly. And then you check the network and see only transactions of miners and holders to each other.

I would like to personally say thank you to Steve and Sportsbet, but especially Steve,,, for fixing my account issues. Today all the things are showing like before, you guys are the best and nothing to add to that!!

Come join me, STEVE, live in the Box at the 2nd Hash Clash for the season when Southampton takes on our ex-girlfriend WATFORD![/b]
Nice promo Steve, will do the math later on tonight and try my luck.

Did not really check recently but I feel like covid restrictions are getting softer and softer throughout the Europe so hopefully we will soon have normal air lines and travels.

Another one,,, Steve your boss is so generous to give away all of those tickets + plane ticket + all the spending. A dream event for anyone who wants to watch football, whoever wins please send pics as usual.

Great promotion from Sporstbet and it's going to be interesting to see the next members who win this reward.
Saints are in very good form recently and I think they can send ex-girlfriend directly to relegation zone  Cheesy

Maybe this time you Wink Send Watford back, so we can get back,,, Sheffield :p
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 22, 2022, 08:02:39 AM
Napoli also had to fight harder to get points in last night's match against Cagliari as a team in the relegation zone, even though on paper Napoli should have won easily even if it was only one goal. But what happened was that Cagliari could take the lead first and Napoli could just score a goal in the last minute of the match and indeed, Napoli should be more focused against Barcelona next but with Inter getting a defeat Napoli should be more motivated to overtake Inter in the standings.

Napoli are getting more and more difficult to support I think,,, and the same goes for all the teams I would say are about Italian style attacking. This means Atalanta and Roma too, I would say,,, and even Inter now you can see is struggling. I guess only AC Milan is the one team not facing troubles scoring,,, to my knowledge which is very small  Grin

OP if you are legit,,, easy. Just make a liquidity pool of your own on one of the Uni or sushi. You can create your own token, whatever, and sell it all for the ETH pair. Or make an IDO for free also using all those tokens as the IDO You can do this on Plasma.Finance (using SpacePort).

Then people who are interested will buy.

I give you benefit of doubt Wink
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Remarkable thing about Bitcoin on: February 21, 2022, 03:21:19 PM
The funny thing in blockchain "industry" now that some people are even calling new projects using "blockchain 4.0",,, when to me in reality, Bitcoin was the blockchain "original" and maybe if we want to argue Ethereum is making the type of next 2.0 because of much more capabilities for smart contracts and cross-chain.

I do agree we still can consider it new though because adoption has not happened.
It's even funnier when you see that the 2.0, 4.0 etc. versions aren't even introducing anything new or innovative. It is all repetition of the old ideas dusted off and represented as new. The funny things don't end there either, in most cases the newer versions are weaker and with more problems. For example Ethereum 2.0 is going to switch to PoS and make it weaker while giving ultimate power and money making opportunity to the ethereum foundation and Vitalik so that they can get paid constantly for doing nothing, just because they hold the 72 million premined ETH.

Yes,,, we live in a world where supposedly this is the cutting edge of technology but almost every new project actually has just a copypasta team behind it with 90% of the team on marketing and PR and "influencer" and maybe 1 guy who can copy github code with no real expertise or skill to actually introduce something new or even something useful. The whole 2.0 and 4.0 thing is pure marketing that hopes they make people forget the whole point of why blockchain and Bitcoin was so powerful in the first place.

I personally thought this proof of stake argument was dead with ICO era POS coins but I guess it is also a rich man's game with rich people happy to take idle profits,,, so much for the idea of "liberating" crypto.
