WTF? So if I make a claim that ICC is intentionally crippling performance on AMD CPUs, and if Intel doesn't sue me in 10 days, then it must be true?

Oh! Justin Bieber is really a girl! If Justin's lawyers don't sue me, it much be true!

Go home.

Your point it valid! Make it 9 days. Better yet, how many days should I give them?

If I went on record and stated that you killed somebody in the past, how long would it take you to get your lawyer to issue me papers? Or are you the type to just let me spread such vile for years for the entire world to read? Even better yet, what if I said to the world that your a pedophile, committing said act prior to the new laws were put in place were you didn't have to register your address? Would you think about it for the next 10 days if that's the time frame I laid out for you to sue my ass?

BTW, are you on record in stating that I should be sued?

You i and everybody knows you cant be sued for telling the truth !

..since we have gone there ...josh is a post op woman living inside a now re-adjusted body to suit his inner self !!

Given that Josh is Furry, your statement can't be considered a truism as well.

That said, is there ANYTHING that I can pen that would give BFL just cause to sue me? Surely, given my post count, the weight in such penning should be quite damaging to their overall overhead while Sonny's getting head.

7885  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My analysis of the claim BFL is violating law by not registering with FCC rules. on: July 14, 2013, 02:40:58 AM
One issue is not whether the units are FCC compliant or not, but that Josh was sticking it up BFL's competitor's asses at the time on this very same issue. When pressed about their own FCC certs, Josh went on record and stated that BFL was expecting results back in a couple weeks (paraphrased) last November.

Therefore, there's only two possibilities: Either BFL felt like they needed FCC certs and was in the process of getting it, or Josh outright lied about the ordeal to garner more sales via quieting the discontents. Pick one! Either choice would not bode well for BFL.

BTW, have you seen my new thread? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255830.0

The following is not an opinion made by myself. I present it as fact.

BF Labs Inc. (Butterfly Labs) owned my Sonny Vleisides is nothing but a crock and should be avoided at all cost. Anybody who currently has a product on pre-order that's not expected to be shipped any time soon should ask for an immediate refund before they close down shop and the main principals leave the country.

Again, the above I present as fact and not as an opinion.

Anybody who believes that BFL now has the right to sue me, please sign this thread.

If in 10 days from this day I do not receive a letter from their lawyers informing me in no uncertain terms that they are suing my ass, then the above is definitely proven to be fact.

I will not judge a single person who signs this thread. The more signatures the better regardless of how you feel about me.

Thank you, in advance, for participating.
I will sign the petition with a blood oath!

Phinnaeus Gage, you scoundrel, you should get sued to high heaven!

That's the spirit!

Where do I find the latest BFL Drama in a nice concentrated bundle?

The last time they were all bundled up, the mods moved them to all parts of this forum, taking a page from the Tower of Babel story. Albeit tongue-in-cheek, at the time some threads were found in the German section.

I now state as fact and not opinion that BF Labs Inc. will not honor their warranty on any of their products that their clients have been waiting patiently for a year to receive.

Some clients have complained about fires erupting inside their Bitcoin miners and the toxic fumes from the components filled their whole house. Luckily, their baby was at a relative's house otherwise it may have been the first casualty directly resulting from a BFL Bitcoin miner bursting into flames.

No UL testing was ever performed on any of their current line of Bitcoin miners. Same is true for FCC and CE certification.

Again, BFL Bitcoin miners are firetraps and WILL interfere with other RF emitted devices. Anybody owning a Bitcoin Miner is probably unknowingly breaking the law simply by possessing a unit because they falsely assumed that BFL is on the up-and-up which is far from the truth.

If anything I relay in this thread is a falsehood, I should be sued by BF Labs Inc. If I am not, then my statements can be accepted as truths, whereupon I won't feel your pain when BFL skips town taking your hard-earned money with them as Sonny Vleisides has so cleverly done so at least three times in the past. Sonny Vleisides is a thief and will always be one. Every single person still working under Sonny can be consider such as well, for they have been presented with the truth from the get-go, yet refused to distance themselves from him, choosing to embrace him.
7888  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Single SC 60GH Finally Arrived on: July 14, 2013, 02:12:20 AM
Ya I emailed them about my dead PSU, and had to wait forever to hear back from them. It was over a week before Jody replied back, and when she did, it was less than helpful. Basically along the lines of "oh well". Quite odd as I've always had good luck with their customer service, once you factor out the wait time.

I can use this at my new thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255830.0
7889  Other / Off-topic / Re: Petition to get BF Labs Inc. to sue me. Please sign. on: July 14, 2013, 02:09:12 AM
It is a fact that Sonny is a crook, he plead guilty to being one.  So BFL cannot sue you for telling the truth.  I think what you need to say is probably:

Butterfly Labs of Leawood KS is a long con scam run by known criminals.

But even that is not likely to get any response since that is all pretty much factual as well.  In order for them to sue for slander or libel I think you'd actually need to lie.  So I think is is highly unlikely that BFL will sue you over your statement.

(Take this to the legal section?)

Why the fuck does this have to be so complicated?

If anybody reading this feels that I should word my statement(s) in a better way to assure that they sue my ass, would you be so kind as to PM me such wording so that I can use it verbatim without revealing the source, of course?

7893  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BFL (BF Labs Inc; Butterfly Labs) officially refusing to refund their customers. on: July 14, 2013, 01:31:01 AM
Started with strategies to get BFL or PayPal to issue refunds, but migrated to dinging them with the FTC, to calling the FBI, to posting PayPal contacts and phones.

At the end of the day, if you want a refund, your options seem to be:
-Begging BFL for a refund and/or alerting the FTC is the recourse for those that paid with BTC
-Call PayPal if within 45 days of purchase to trigger a refund.
-Call your Credit Card company if after 45 days from the pay date if used PayPal.

The deal about BFL not shipping within PayPal's shipping terms for vendors, well that's a clause between PayPal and the vendor.  Non-compliance won't entitle the buyer to a refund beyond 45 days of purchase, just gives PayPal a reason to drop BFL from using their platform in future.  Breach of a business contract is a civil matter between PayPal and BFL.

I understand folks are uber-upset at the prospect of receiving their unit when difficulty is incredibly high, but naturally, there were no representations from BFL with respect to this.

As things are, my two orders will arrive way too late.

As I see it, a BFL investor is able to get a refund (for now), but they have to jump through a myriad of hoops and heartaches to get it. At the end of the day, BFL is still out the same amount of money as if they were to kindly give the same exact refund when it was first asked for.

Ask yourself this: Are you more apt to spread cheers of a company that quickly gave a refund or one that told you "Sorry, Charlie, no refunds!" I assume the former, for the latter is a piece of shit type of company.

Bottom line, BFL will be out the same exact amount of money when people get their refunds the hard way at the expense of dragging the good name of Chris Vlesides (the KC photograpy, Sonny's step dad) to the ground, taking every single person currently working for BFL with him.

This Sonny Vleisides is one fucked up dude.

Butterfly Labs has not played nice from the get-go, and still to this day continues to stick it up their client's asses, eventually closing down shop and heading south.

BF Labs Ins. is nothing but a crock and should be avoided at all cost. This is not an opinion! This is fact that I am stating. Josh Zerlan has my full name and address on file so that BFL's lawyers can contact me if they too are not pussies.

I see this thread has been moved into a dark corner of the basement. Why?  Huh

I have spent months to get him to answer my questions only to be ridiculed. Everything out of that persons mouth is a lie. What do you expect from a criminal?

Inaba is not a criminal. He got hired by a criminal, I guess that makes him just a hired hand or naive

Would one rather distance themselves from criminal activities or embrace those that associate with same? The only choices is between the latter or the former, for being ill-informed is no longer part of this equation.
7897  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BFL (BF Labs Inc; Butterfly Labs) officially refusing to refund their customers. on: July 13, 2013, 05:18:19 AM
My next step has been to contact PayPal's fraud department to point out the blatant and ongoing violation of their terms of service for pre-order sales.

Of course, my complaints would certainly carry more weight if other BFL victims would follow suit.
Would you (or anyone else who knows of this) please elaborate on the highlighted statement?

From PayPal's FAQ:

Does PayPal permit transactions for pre-sale items?

A pre-sale item is advertised for sale before the seller actually has the item. Often, these items are sold before they are available to the general public.

A seller might use the money from the pre-sale of an item to purchase the item.

PayPal permits pre-sales on a limited basis as long as the seller:

Guarantees shipment within 20 days from the date of purchase.
Clearly identifies the item as a pre-sale.
Provides proof, if needed, that they can successfully deliver the product (supplier information, purchase invoices, shipping information, or delivery confirmation).

The PayPal rep I spoke with agreed with my assessment that BFL is violating the TOS.

It seems to me that PayPal is breaking their ToS by allowing BFL to continue to use their services. I'm sure PayPal would not like to open themselves up to a lawsuit when one of BFL's miners catches fire and kills a baby.

I am going to launch it, everything is ready from the code to the ugly design. The only thing missing is advertisers, if you wish to see the website PM me as I don't want people to use it until I officially launch it. Thanks.

Remember, if your an advertiser, my site will hopefully generate a lot of traffic once it's announced and you don't pay until everything is ready. My faucet will be the highest paying bitcoin faucet out there. Smiley

Rates will be all negotiable, just cause I'm going to pay out a higher amount doesn't mean advertisers will pay more.

I spend hours hunting it, but finally found it: http://www.newbcoin.com/ --> http://coinfaucets.tk/

Rassah & all generous donors: Thank you so much for the donation! This will certainly go a long way towards creating greater Bitcoin awareness amongst the committee & staff and helping out in funding SPICES operations.

Thanks again

I'm glad to here it, Pouncer.

Hi again.

I promised that the "Sternenhof" foundation (Herbert Denk Stiftung) will give a more detailed report about the exact use of the Bitcoin donation in a press release within the last days. Unfortunately we had a tragic accident, in which one of our 2 lamas (the white one) died.

Due to many unexpected incidents the Lama was able to get out of the area and had an accident with a car on a main road a few km away from the sanctuary and died immediately.

As both animals had lived together nearly for their whole life there was a big relation between them and the other Lama "Hatschi" (which is handicapped also) is very sad of course.

So our main target at the moment is finding a "new Lama friend" for our "Hatschi" - and chances are great that it will be successful in the next days!

We plan to use the bitcoin donation for the Lama help and we will post more information, also in Facebook  (over 4000 followers) and here in the Forum of course.

Many thanks

Frank for Sternenhof (Herbert Denk Foundation)

Did Bitcoin 100 just donate to fund a Llama? I believe this is sacrilegious.  Grin

Sorry to hear about your lost. Have you considered an alpaca as a replacement?

ASI Conserva Chile has successfully received the Bitcoin 100 donation, and we're ecstatic! We'll be using the funds to support bringing key indigenous leaders in Latin America to our conservation congress this summer.

Rassah: As for actual Coinbase process, did you encounter any problems? Did you just input the amount into the entry field? If there is just a problem with the radio buttons, Coinbase allows you to enable/disable that feature. It actually seems better to me to disable them anyways.

Glad to read that this worked out to everybody's satisfactions.

Amazing the shit that can get accomplished once the founder gets outta the way, no longer holding up the process.
