I doubt that getting any type of smoke into your lungs is very good for you.
+1 I don't believe it is particularly dangerous, but smoking anything is not healthy at all.

In western world You must say this I have been there, but never bought anything. I assume most bitcoin peers have never bought anything from SR. to avoid the same consequences! Would it help if I added that I have smoked my weight in weed? I am not "copping out", my statement is true. But I know what you mean. Remember when Bill Clinton said he smoked it, but did not inhale? Now that is a ridiculous thing to say.

Hi Osmosis. Long time bro, I enjoyed our breakfast in Portland a few months ago. Anyway, this is awesome. I love etsy! It is a great way to transact directly with artists and craftspeople. Even on a budget one can live the Haute couture lifestyle. I will be looking for BTC tags there and likely buying something this weekend.

I read some of the law and proposition and noticed something in the Washington law (i think i was that state). It mentioned that MJ is legal as long as it contains less than 1% THC. 1%? So we can only smoke ditch weed? ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

I was really surprised to see the fed going after Cali's pot dispensaries recently. I think that is going to end soon. No one wants to go after pot anymore. Christ, the last three presidents were pot smokers. Do they think society would have been bettered had they been arrested? Would any of them have been elected with a drug arrest on their record?
When you become a politician, they remove the part of your brain that detects hypocrisy. I thought they removed all but the brain stem? They can smile, look at cameras and memorize brief phrases like "job creator" or "green energy". Or maybe is was the weed? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I have one Elwar. While Obama is to the left of the NRA, he has not moved to limit gun rights. During the debates he was asked about gun policy and answered by saying that he is for enforcement of existing law and not interested in more laws. I think that is the same stance as the NRA.

Also, most conceal carry licensees make you state that you are not addicted to weed ( ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) ). If I live in these states how can I be denied a right based on my use of a legal substance? Any thoughts? Use ≠ addiction. Simple as that. I totally agree. But i am using the language on the permit application. That's why I added the eye roll, lol.

People who have never seen anarchy seem to like the idea. Anyone who lived in a war zone, for example, are not so nostalgic.
Anarchy = No rulers. Chaos = Everybody trying to be a ruler. Anarchy ≠ Chaos. The problem i see is that without rulers a power vacuum is created. Someone will step into that void and take advantage of it. Can anarchy sustain?

So can a non-resident buy weed in these states now? Why is everyone so surprised at legalization of weed? This has been coming for a long time. Even my mother-in-law in Washington voted for legalization. The real question is "why was it ever illegal?"
The original social attack against marijuana came because Mexican workers would bring their strange plant with them from south of the border and with it being common among them and uncommon among Americans it was used as a way to attack Mexicans without outwardly attacking them. Then in the 60s hippy generation Richard Nixon was doing everything he could do to prevent those "damned hippies" from holding their protests. He kept running into 1st Amendment issues and could not stop them. Then he realized that marijuana was very popular among hippies and was an integral part of their protests. So he attacked and outlawed marijuana in the hopes of being able to send in police to break up these hippy gatherings. And the rest was history. That's my understanding as well. Using drug policy to control society is not a winning bumper sticker.

As a side note, the lack of any central authority is one of bitcoins most powerful aspects. Compare them to frequent flier miles for example. The airline can change the value of the miles whenever they like, and to their own advantage. NO ONE can do such a thing with your bitcoins.

I'm just saying that if a cop had done this, he would be facing charges. Cops are (rightly) held to higher standards than 12 year old girls alone in their home with an intruder. In principle. Fair point. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) My understanding is that I could shoot only to stop an attack that could reasonably said to be an attack on my life. In court you will need to show how your life was in danger. In some states just breaking in is enough, in other states it is not. If you keep a gun for protection you should be practicing shooting monthly at the least. You should mark out your firring positions and know what is behind them. If you do these things an attacker has little chance. They will be in an unknown place facing unknown forces. And don't hide. Hiding moves you to a crappy position, make the other guy try to hide. Lastly, don't show your gun or threaten them with it. It is for killing, not tough talk. If you need the gun, yell surprise!! and don't stop shooting until the attacker is done for.

She is a child who may well have saved herself. More power to her. I'm just saying that if a cop had done this, he would be facing charges. Here in Wisconsin I assume I would go to jail for these actions. You can stop a threat to your life, but you can't shoot through a door at a scary noise. At least I think that's correct.

... I was just kidding. In reality perhaps she should be charged with reckless endangerment for taking a blind shot?
Oh she put the intruder in danger by not shooting him in the open? Brilliant. She put everyone around her in danger by shooting at what she thought was an intruder. Good thing luck was on her side.
