7961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: July 09, 2017, 01:17:34 PM
For now it's stuck at $2480-$2560 does two months ago ring any bells when price were in balance between $1080-$1180? it was like 2 years ago or seems like it, I bet in one month we'll hit $3500 and then talk about $5000 while $2500 will become yesterday's news.
Good analysis, I also believe price of bitcoin in this month will reach $3000 and I will be willing to wait for the achievement, because I think before entering august the bitcoin price will skyrocket again and I do not know the story about bitcoin after entering the month of august which has predicted that bitcoin price will down and some are forecast to continue to rise and skyrocket again. I do not know.

Bitcoin will not be able to reach the 4000$ value or more than that. Bitcoin has exponentially increased in value this year and even pumped up to 3000$ before it went down. Today its price is again moving up but we can see that the new trend traps the value of bitcoin between 2200$ to 2500$. With it we can be certain that another spike in bitcoins value will no longer appear since it has already been done already this year. What we could least expect for bitcoin is for it to hit 3000 $ value by December this year. If we are going to spike 4000$ or more it will be next year so let us just hold on to our bitcoin and sell it next year.
Yes, there is a possibility that you say it will true happen because the bitcoin price increase only stuck at $2500/$2600, but there is still time to arrive at the end of the month and fluctuations are still likely to happen, and hopefully pumping will happen near the end of this month.
It is an accepted fact that bitcoin is in competition with altcoin but it should be kept in mind that bitcoin is far superior and valuable than altcoin. A new update to the bitcoin scaling debate names Segwitx2 has gathered notable support. This update might lead to a hopeful increase in the price of bitcoin.

The bitcoin hash rate has also been affected due to the large scale demand of bitcoin mining in Russia. However, this above information can be proven as mortal in regards to the value of a bitcoin to be $4000.
There no guarantee about price increase after than event and also we wont know if it would be approved or not. If it does we wont know what would happen next after that. Price increase would really possible on bitcoin since we did already witnessed it on the years that have passed on bitcoin and still continue to progress as the time goes by.
7962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: July 09, 2017, 08:32:50 AM
My thought is why not just have a minimal house edge of 0.1% or something? No one would care about that. It wouldn't work for every game and I wouldn't recommend it, but it's something better to consider.
Even with zero house edge also gambling houses will get chances to make money by showing advertisements / charging some fixed fee for withdrawals and also by selling different memberships with the different benefits.

This way your idea of having minimal house edge must be a more secure way to run a gambling business. Minimal house edge and more number of gamblers will find this business more profitable. Obviously minimal house edge will attract more gamblers to gamble with.
This kind of profit earning is possible but lesser compared to those who have house edge. Honestly speaking having 0% house edge doesnt really sound interesting to me because people would rather choose up on those gambling sites with do have minimal % edge than on 0 because we mostly think off that site cant sustain to payout on just having advertisement/fee earnings only. If there would be a jackpot hit on a certain gambler then you will surely cried out how to pay those.
7963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 09, 2017, 07:01:11 AM
Hi guys!
We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io CM

I always limiting myself on gambling, but i always tilted and in the end i busted all my money in gambling, shit dude it's really hard to control our greed especially when we on losing streak. I'm surprised if many gamblers out there can control theirself on gambling, he must be pro on it.
Its not actually pro already when you can able to control yourself because there are newbie gambler do have strong self control when it comes on money management and emotion handling when we do play. If you are always titled to lose in the end on playing gambling then you shouldnt expect to make money on it and instead of chasing those lose better to budget a particular amount on playing without minding on depositing again when you do lose up.
7964  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: July 07, 2017, 02:21:36 AM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?
If your health is now worse, then its a critical issue. The only way i could see is that you can sell your bitcoins for cash and buy some properties in name of your nephews. That idea would work better.

This is really an interesting question, bitcoin ensures the security of our money, so it has absolute security, your relatives must know about your private key to own bitcoin. Otherwise, your bitcoin will be permanently lost.
Haha, if scared that, always ready with death anytime and write a will for your family before it happens. Don't forget teach them how to use private key and using Bitcoin or exchange Bitcoin to FIAT, if not know that, have private key just useless Grin
Its just a common sense to say to them about on how to use those private keys its just like that you are giving our a password on your atm card because if they wont know such thing then expect for those bitcoin will be surely lost and no one would able to access it forever thats why its important to tell them before you die on the most important things to access that wallet..
7965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 06, 2017, 06:39:21 PM
I don't really believe in superstition belief. For me it is just base on luck when it comes in gambling, most of the time when you don't have luck you lose. I don't believe in superstitious. Huh
That's true, you shouldn't even think about it and it might cost you bad luck, it's just like how you think about something so much that it didn't end up happening. There is just nothing. I believe that it's based on our actions and how we deal with it is the answer.
That's true, it is not depend on our superstitious. Gambling would always depend on luck even how skills you have it is always needs luck to win, some gambling games not needs skills and professional gamblers does not always winning.

Gambling have no link with superstitious. But i see a lot of people are superstitious usually when they start betting, because they believe on something unique and different, but behind the scene nothing is here except luck. I believe only luck, it is working and we win everything including gambling because of luck.
Well having faith in something is neither good nor bad but having too much faith and your actions are weird because of that then yes its wrong. I am someone who is purely technical and does not believe in any superstitions or anything but yeah sometimes if believing a certain thing gives you pleasure I would always approve that.

But I have seen guys giving away money to " Pundit's " is something I am not a fan of and personally hate such things. If someone can make you win, why don't they win themselves ?
Its not really bad to have those beliefs as long we dont hard anyone on trying to follow those things that we believe that can able to increase our lucky chance. Same as yours im not really believing on this kind of stuff since luck do come on random time and you wouldnt even know if it would come on your side and you will only said that you are lucky when you are already winning. Its just like that actually.
7966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: July 06, 2017, 03:52:06 PM
Yes it is possible actually yesterday I made 200k satoshi thru faucet but suddenly I got busted hoping to make it double in x2.   Grin

Better luck next time but you should know when to stop too,for me if I double my wins or double my initial bankroll then I will quit and come back later to gamble.

Chances will come rarely, but you missed the right opportunity I think that is why don't get excited when you people hit big amount in any gambling game it may be faucet or bitcoin. You should control your emotions then only you can able to save your winnings or else the result will be like this you will lose your winnings. Next time doesn't be greedy control yourself and stop your play at the right time.
Chances on making thousands out of those faucets amounts would really be very slim and you are right chances do come rarely it ups to if we can ride with the flow or not and once you hit it then it will really feels like and achievement and later on your greediness will comeout because you know that you are lucky to hit jackpots which would commonly lead to the end us lossers.
7967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: July 06, 2017, 02:47:06 PM
Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice).

One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously.

There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Smiley

Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
it does not seem necessary because many gamblers want to hide their identity while gambling. in my country gambling is illegal so it would be better to create an account on the gambling site anonym. but if the gambler likes that option because there's no need to create an account on that site which is time consuming and just needs to connect it to a social media account it's good too.

Yepp. Most of the gamblers are like to hide their identity for future purposes and as we can see all people are using other username such as name of idols, pets or cartoon character because they do not wanto get accessed by other people especially the bad ones who will likely to scammed.
People specially gamblers do really like to remain anonymous specially on this field and they dont really like to expose themselves and as you said more on those who have plans on scamming someone. Leaving without trace would be the first priority here but well we are not talking about scammers but hiding identity here on playing gambling. Having an option on doing log-in on social media isnt bad at all if the site will put up a kind of logged-in but im really sure that no one would really uses that stuff.

Firstly, it would be none of the above as gamblers would like to have their identity hidden for their own purposes. Social media accounts have a tendency to get hacked and a lot of personal information can be used against you and can be used in a myriad of ways that shouts confidientiality. Gambling sites that asks for login crdentials such as this are a no no to most gamblers

popular online gambling casino doesnt need or doesn't have this option to be able to login, mostly it was just a email for confirmation and you'll just need to provide username and that's it. No more identifiers.
Most website that are requiring social media log-in are scammed and others are for advertisement facebook page like of their website so that gamblers would know that many people like this website and eventually it will looks legit.
Can you name the site that do have this kind of log-in? The word scammed isnt approriate on what you describe here but its somehow stealing email addresses for the sake of marketing and this is really the disadvantage on having this kind of log-ins because your email would be added on the list used on email marketing which is really irritating when i saw one in my inbox regarding promotions.
7968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: July 06, 2017, 07:50:29 AM
It is in the bible to gamble is like sinning. If it is related to greed then the Bible do not agreed to that. Gambling is a harmless fun in some instances, but it is fueled by greed. If you win something, casinos would want you to stay to gamble more. Make your money to grow more, but the truth is, you will lose everything in a snap if you do it again. Casinos only wanted your money and not about your feelings. They are the real greedy but they have an excuse to say, business is business.
When we are basing on biblical thing then its really a sin to gamble but in modern times its just really created for pure entertainment and yes it does really fueled with greed which if a certain player have weak self control you would eventually fall on this addiction and greed would really come out even more that is why casinos is really a profitable business because of these greedy people.
7969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 06, 2017, 06:38:56 AM
Have you thought of investing into ICO tokens. It is far better than normal alt coins which come and go in the market. ICO are trusted and  are invested heavily due to their marketing strategies and product development. The team is made up of highly skilled people and they know what they are making out of them. Its bigger and better than other coins.

I would go in the opposite direction as you suggest. I would really not jumped in on a ICO and i would rather to wait a little more time if i saw that they would be succesful and does have a potential after the launch because on this time you will really see which one is a pump and dump coin and those which is not. You cantt be sure anytime that ICO would be profitable. You would surely say this thing if you experience to join on some ico.
7970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 06, 2017, 03:29:07 AM
Guys I'm sure its going to be Mayweather. He is  a smart fighter but I agree that he is a boring fighter. He doesn't have a powerpunch like Pacquiao but he always have a strategy. And also it's boxing, it's like Mcgreggor's 100% fighting ability is reduced to 20-30%.

How you said so that Mcgregor do reduce its fighting ability? I can even see his advantage over Floyd on this fight we can really expect different views here since both are good fighters and we would see who would be the toughest one on the end. I would like to know what would be the mechanics of this game? It would be boxing style or MMA style?

7972  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitstarz Removes 3.45 Btc Balance According to Breaking Bonus Terms on: July 06, 2017, 02:28:05 AM

is philippines allowed to play no deposit bonus??

Hi there,

Players from the Philippines are not able to play with the no deposit bonus I'm afraid,
but I'll make an exception for you. Just send me your username in a PM Smiley

Mike

This is exactly why you're such a scam site. "I'll make an exception for you"!!! Are you fucking serious! Hahaha. After everyone accuses you of a scam, you'll make an exception on a TOC?
Wow what a nice exclusion there on which it do violate or changes its TOC in an instant for a certain player do request to avail the bonus. This act is really unfair for others which do have kind of restriction but now its very easy to say some words as long this site do get money on potential players. Very very suspicious on my part.^^ checking above they set new limits but they should arrange or resolve first pending issues.
7973  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and bad scenarios on: July 05, 2017, 11:23:32 AM
Everyone's talking about bitcoin being godlike and all good, but is there some downside to it, excluding the funding of terrorism and whatnot, but as the deisik said:
Quote
Though in a somewhat different context. Just earlier today I explained why Bitcoin can be used as an economic weapon of mass destruction. Since that explanation was made in another language, I think I can repeat it here. Countries with rogue or just incompetent governments may fall victim to a Bitcoin "attack", so to speak. In these countries population heavily suffers from constant currency devaluations (e.g. Zimbabwe in the past or Venezuela right now), so with Bitcoin they can completely abandon their low paid jobs and make a living entirely off Bitcoin. From an economic point of view, that would work as a reversed inflation tax. With a direct inflation tax, it is the population that suffers most from currency devaluation, but when we reverse this tax, it is the government that now gets hit by it. Thus Bitcoin can be used by powerful nations (say, the US) to ruin weak governments from inside entirely via economic measures without violence or blood (unless authorities start prosecuting people for using Bitcoin, of course)

Some scenarios like this, where bitcoin can destroy one's economy or something similar. Theories.
Why would the US, or any "powerful nation" for that matter, want to destroy weaker governments? They would just be seen as bullies by other countries and that would basically put a target on their back. Also, what would they gain from doing that? They would have to spend a lot of time and money to completely destroy a government, it is not as easy as just pressing a button. I don't understand how the first part of the paragraph is the bad side of Bitcoin. I think it is great that people from poorer countries are getting into Bitcoin and earning a living off it. If that is a way they can provide for their family and make sure that their kids don't go hungry at night, then so be it. If their government suffers, it is their own fault. The governments of 3rd world countries are always so corrupt, not to stereotype, and can't help out their citizens. It is the governments fault that it's people have to resort to Bitcoin just to survive. I live in Australia so my currency is pretty weak against the American dollar so I like to keep some of my assets in Bitcoin. This way I don't get affected too much by the devaluation of my money. Even though the devaluation is small, there is still money being lost that doesn't need to be.
Would like to say the same thing on which why would a powerful nation would tend to destroy weaker ones since they know already that they are more powerful than them and yes it acts like a bully  and theres no point on destroy weaker governments unless if its their mortal enemy then it would be possible. There are lots of things which bitcoin can really be used too as long you do have the power and the money to do it but it wont be simple as we think.
7974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: July 05, 2017, 10:25:08 AM
This would really depends on peoples preference on how he gonna handle his own money knowing that we do have different level of money management on this case we would either use it or secure it depends on what on the mind of people who make winning amounts which we would really expect different answers here.In my case, winnings would really be partitioned on some things not just purely re-credit on playing gambling again.
7975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone ever tried medicine to control impulsive gambling? on: July 05, 2017, 09:47:49 AM
For those into gambling have you ever tried to took some medicine just to control your impulsive gambling?

Like the Magic Bottle?  Cool
Is it true that theres such medicine on which do help you to cure impulsive gambling? I wasnt informed that this kind of thing do exist if it does then it would be a worth to try for those person who have this kind of sickness. If im on the situation of having impulsive gambling behavior i wont take any medication since setting your mind would really help you out on staying away from it.
7976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many gambling sites have been hacked? on: July 05, 2017, 03:35:41 AM
Not many of them which is actually surprising, of course allot of 1-2 days old websites using that free and full of exploit script get hacked, but other than that the big websites rarely report hacks, either because they can afford to cover it or because they have good security preventing hacks completely.
not really true , remember when primedice got exploited and lost thousands bitcoin?
they have grown as a big and trustworthy bitcoin gambling site but still get exploited.
there is nothing guarantee that the bigger site the more security they have , also online gambling always lack of trust.
Yes we had some major hacks in some of the dice sites in the past but now we are not hearing these exploits is because they will be actively monitor users who have usual rolling patterns and people who are winning a big amount and every big withdrawal is manual in almost all of the sites ,so it reduces these sort of incidents we had in the past.

When events like that happens, the casino owners become more attentive and set stronger defense mechanisms on their sites. It's good as a guarantee for gamblers and especially for investors who put thousands of dollars in Bitcoins on these sites. But I believe nothing is already enough when we talk about safety, samehow the defense mechanisms are upgraded, the hackers upgrade their attack mechanisms as well.
One of the most important thing on a certain gambling site is on its security which players can say that their money is safe even though they would deposit large amounts they will really feel secure and thats an important matter because most gamblers will seek out this for sure. Anything can really be hacked but depend on the skills of a hacker which we should still always be aware on this kind of risk.
7977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport is the easiest to wager/win on: July 05, 2017, 03:09:29 AM
Every bettings require a lot of knowledge about teams, players or participants of sport and their condition. But for me the easiest sport to bet for sure is tennis - it is easy to bet for Federer, Nadal or Dokovic when they play with weak opponent. In situations like this odds are very low, but when you bet big amount, you can be almost sure that you win  Cool
Rsiking big amounts which like you gonna perfectly win on that game doesnt guaranteed chances of losing might be there odss would really be low considering on which player is the most and the least favorite. By betting big amounts on favorites might give you the feel of profits but we should always think of on the risk always. Tennis game is interesting but still it depends on a person which would he gonna bet.

Good day to you all!

I am posting this here to gain information on this particular sports (E-sports) and where I can possibly gamble.

Any suggestions that you can give that would help me and some fellow users that are interested in E-sports gambling.
Link above giving 100 top sites do have esports but for me i would go on nitrogensports its one of the most reputable sites on the market now which do have e-sports betting. I do love to bet on these kind of game, it gives excitement to its bettors specially for those who play a particular game thats why when i made a bet on a certain sports game(basketball, soccer etc) i also bet on e-sports on the same time.
7979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: July 04, 2017, 02:01:01 PM
Hey! Good day i really need some answers because its about gambling in your life and other people are playing for it with heart and i just thought that how can gambling help you with your life? and do you gain something from it? does it help you to be wise or worst your attitude will change.. i need answers please!

In my opinion, gambling does not help anyone's life especially if you have been losing all the time. The only one thing that it can help you is that when you win but most gambling sites, or casinos don't want you to win. You only have 0.001% of chances of winning and if you actually happened to win but not the jackpot that is still not enough to make you recover from all of your lost and or you'll just lose it again because you are to greedy and won't think about what you could have use of your money than gambling it and giving it away for free. Yes, Gambling can change a persons life when you win a big jackpot but it can also lose ones life in an instant. There are more people who got bankrupt because of gambling than winning, people feel more miserable than being happy in gambling. So I think it does change for the worst. I hope people will understand that gambling is not good for people and I hope they can control themselves. Gambling should just have been for fun and not anything else.
Direct to the point, hitting jackpots specially on longer period of time would be more than those amount you would win on jackpot unless if you hit it on a short period of time and it wont really be enough and those winning you would play even more because you do have already the money to play on and you will surely lose it all again.
7980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 August 2017, Does everyone think it is effect to bitcoin price or not? on: July 04, 2017, 01:22:07 PM
Of course, there will be an effect to the bitcoin price because even the small news has a great impact for the price of bitcoin so how much more if it is about the development of bitcoin, so if the segwit2x will become successful in the date of august 1 then the price might get double or increased by at least 20% on its price and it will continue up to next year because of the price rally.
Double price would be possible but still wont be sure on whats ahead, scaling solution is still approaching and we wont know what would actually happen. Price might crash or Price might rise it do only have two ways but as far as i can see on the possibilities it might be going up on august 1 event still not sure but most likely. We dont really like to see bitcoins price crashes.
