81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: LH Crypto - FOREX in Crypto for EveryOne on: May 04, 2019, 02:37:56 PM
I forgot for LH token bounty swap, now see the previous posts. is it now late for that?

yes it's too late for that. tokens were burned

"Too late" is just "too simple" for your side.

It is never to late and if the team missed a clear and public release of the information about a deadline for a swap, than it is your chance obligation to find a way to resolve that issue for a handful of user that still have an interest in using and supporting your product(s) but got hit by burning the tokens that belong to those (us).

f.e. the CEO (or whoever decided against transparency) might swap new tokens for old ones from his own wallet, it is rich enough.

Date was known

I get the feeling we are talking about different topics? This post you use as proof of information doesn´t indicate any relation to a token-swap nor gives the reader any clear direction.

Kind reminder

I think they did mention this before but the not all was able to read it? Was it their fault? Because they should be sending emails about it right, which they did not. I have bounty tokens I have swapped but I haven't sold any of it because its value is even less than a dollar. It would just be a waste of gas.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An old but unexplored project on: May 03, 2019, 11:53:11 PM
If it doesn't have much discussions about it means that this coin is already forgotten. I'm impress that despite of that, dct still has $3M worth of market cap and still has a quite good volume on some exchanges.

I'm not willing to explore this kind of project. It's a probable trap if you ever end up with this kind of idea but if by chance that you're lucky enough and this coin would pump 100% after you invested, you need to get out quickly.

Looking at some comments I believe, they should still be a good project since they still exist and their volume ln exchanges are pretty much a decent one since there are only a few of the community members who are still holding their coins even if its outperformed.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors realizing that IEO is a silent scam? on: May 03, 2019, 05:13:16 PM
Maybe the reason the IEO hasn't been sold out is because people are just so picky nowadays on projects they want to invest in. Bittrex also requires a Know Your Customer process before you can purchase in these IEOs.

I am agree, but for KYC, i think exchanger like binance require KYC too. Investor must be picky because mostly IEO price after few days listed in market, the price drop and back to IEO price. But i dont think IEO is a silent scam because we can called scam if not listed in exchanger

They have KYCs for such transactions in Binance since they are situated in China. The laws are strictly cannot be overlooked or it can mean their downfall. Some IEOs are silent scam and few others are not. Let us just observe for now since these IEOs are new.

85  Economy / Economics / Re: People focus on the wrong thing. on: May 02, 2019, 03:03:11 PM
Why focus on bitcoin price right now? focus on fiat: The quarter of a quadrillion dollars of world debt. The trillion dollars of debt the US alone adds each year. This is what to be looking at, because this is directly what gives bitcoin it's value.

The trillion dollars of debts by US alone is quite intriguing. When all the money in the world is pegged on your currency, how do you incur that big of a debt? I really don't understand who does the world owe this money to? When we are all about producing it and giving it value?

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ENDED]GBX-The Crypto Harbour.Gibraltar-based Crypto Exchange&Token Platform on: May 01, 2019, 01:39:04 PM
In response to Apple CEO Tim Cook’s statement “Technology needs to be regulated!”, GBX CEO Kurt Looyens gives his thoughts on how this applies to Blockchain and Crypto in the following Leaprate article:

https://www.leaprate.com/forex/technology/apple-ceo-tim-cook-technology-needs-to-be-regulated/?amp

if the CEO of GBX can think of new things for GBX I'm sure GBX will have a high volume,
such as KYC using ID cards and listing tokens other than security tokens

You think that GBX will have big volume because they have KYC? This is a joke I think? People dont like exchanges with KYC, while they able trade on top exchanges without KYC (Binance for example).

This is true. People don't like exchanges with KYC especially those exchanges which takes a passport to be eligible to pass the KYC. Binance only need KYC for more than 10k usd per day transaction. Level 1 or 0 idk which, has 1k USD limit withdraw per day which doesn't mean its a compulsary KYC not like these new exchanges.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to replace USD reserves with Bitcoin on: May 01, 2019, 12:55:11 PM
Due to US sanctions , Russia may well start to invest its reserves in Bitcoin. Ive heard this rumour for months, but it looks more and more logical and likely.

https://toshitimes.com/russia-plans-to-replace-u-s-dollar-with-bitcoin/

This article sums it up pretty well and if it does become true, it will surely bring a very strong bullish trend .
It can't be logical until Bitcoin becomes stable. All those monetary reserves are first of all made to save the money and not to get any profits out of it. So bitcoin can't be reserve currency for such a big country like Russi then first it should become stable  to secure the financial safety of the country and then it should have enough liquidity to make it possible to use this money. For this time we don't even have enough liquidity for that.

One must know that what you said are the basics of how an economy makes money. They can't probably trust bitcoin that big to use it as a reserve currency for a country powerful as them as that can tantamount to fearmongers and FUDs in the cryptomarket and also in the economics world. The liquidity is one of the few things they should consider as this can be a great thing or a disaster in the making.

There are serious risks with the industry but we can agree  that there are advantages as well to the new technology

The adoption process might progress more but we will never know since the market's stability is one of the things people took note of the cryptocurrency market. Either way, they could be scheming something out of it.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: April 30, 2019, 07:36:59 PM
I joined a bounty lately but I already left since I've found a better campaign. There's still few people that says it is profitable because they've found a decent one but majority of them will say that it's no longer profitable because of the existence of too many scam projects. To secure your bounty reward is to choose a good manager that's liable to all of his actions with the bounty that he manage. A bounty manager that has integrity when it comes to choice of project.

Just as you said, it depends on the person asked. I still find it worth it but the amount of time to wait for it to be distributed + the recent KYCs on these campaigns are a pain to deal with.

There are still a lot of bad bounties out there which promises amounts but never gives anything in return. Now if anyone can just post the legit ones and stop these scams not just by exposing them but also fighting against how they are up to something bad.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Invech Token IEO - Licensed Crypto Exchange & Blockchain Smart City on: April 29, 2019, 11:56:31 PM
As a reminder to everybody considering investing in this garbage (please don't):

This project employs a bumping service to bump its thread (as can be seen by the mindless conversation in this thread by newb and jr member accounts) and their white paper is heavily plagiarized from the Binance whitepaper:

This project is likely to be a scam, it is recommended you DO NOT send money there.

All the conversation happening in this thread is 100% fake!

Now that is some good research. Anyone? How are they responding to these? Anyone who can explain why the whitepaper is so similar to Binance's? Care to explain since the thread was here since 2018 and its getting bumped always.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All ICO Project Proponents Must Also Submit KYC on: April 29, 2019, 01:14:30 PM
KYC doesn't guarantee anything. It's getting too much attention, but if fact it's just additional trick to get more confidence that has no real ground. Instead of KYC, investors must estimate risk/reward ratio when they invest. On the other side, requiring KYC from clients is really ridiculous, even if developers completed KYC themselves. I think KYC will not be very important factor soon, now it's just overvalued.

And most of the time, these KYCs are a complete waste of time // mostly because many people try to avoid them as much as possible since they wouldn't want to be exposed as someone with big money. The risk/reward really is a great thing to consider but most of these people also promise the security of what they are collecting from people.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really a "Do or Die " time for Ripple [XRP]? on: April 29, 2019, 05:29:03 AM
I am browsing cryptocurrency news today when I stumbled on this article

Prominent Analyst Claims That It’s “Do or Die Time” for Ripple (XRP)

It stated that much of XRP holders were disappointed because of it being stagnant while Bitcoin and other large cryptocurrency have a large gain.

Ripple’s lackluster price action over the past several months has left many XRP investors with a feeling of disappointment as it remains stagnant while Bitcoin and other large cryptocurrencies incur large gains that have put a significant amount of distance between their current prices and their recent lows.

It seems holders are getting impatient.  Does this imply that developer are losing their grasp in this project?  Are they losing their market influence  to their competitor?

Or maybe these holders just want to sell their coins for jackpot profit. It has been a great rally for every cryptocurrency except them? Nah they've made more profits before than now. They should learn how to go with the market not just wait for some big hype then sell their coins.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the economic growth of Bitcoin will show a positive impact in upcoming days on: April 28, 2019, 11:23:54 PM
In the future, if more well-known personalities will going to support bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the adoption might going to speed up because this will attract more people to use bitcoin. The mass adoption of bitcoin will finally have an impact on economy because more people ,businesses, industries, and other sectors of society are using it in their daily transactions. Bitcoin's own growth is very essential to the whole cryptocurrency market and there must be driving force to push its price up in the future.

Adoption by these people does not necessarily mean anything. The cryptocurrency projects i know will certainly not abuse these people's popularity just because someone famous is supporting it. I have to disagree that bitcoin's growth  is essential to the market when other cryptocurrency offers greater features than what bitcoin does. Besides, many cryptocurrency are easier to use than bitcoin.

Hey, good news guys you can now trade Function X (FX) token on bittrex exchange against Ethereum and Bitcoin. Check out the link below.

Links: https://international.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-FX
https://international.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=ETH-FX

Should we say those who did not take this opportunity will regret  Undecided  $ 0.4 is a good price
Is there still time for converting?
If you look at the current price it is indeed a good price and I think you may say that because it is a good price and with people not taking this opportunity will certainly regret it but it returns to you

I don't understand the FX token mechanism so I ignored it and in the end I and others regretted it lol
Nobody thinks FX prices will be that expensive

Oh, some people in the previous replies are believing it would cross the dollar mark or even more because Fx has less supply than NPXS. it also is in bittrex where we can see most of its daily trades.

AMA with @QudemApp on May 6 (Monday) 3PM PST!

I will be looking forward to this AMA. Harmony is one of the greatest projects of 2019 and I am sure they can answer any questions asked. Hope they have an AMA on Reddit as well. There are a lot of people there who might be interested to ask questions.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be gainful for a deplored economy. on: April 27, 2019, 08:38:22 PM
Undoubtedly, bitcoin can be (and has been) a reliable store of value in those countries whose economies have suffered considerable economic crises, as in the case of Venezuela, and that is why some dictatorial regimes are making efforts to veto the use of cryptocurrencies in their territories, or have failed to create a national "crypto", such as the Venezuelan "Petro".

Fortunately, none of these attempts has worked, and bitcoin continues to be sought out assiduously by people from these countries, but unfortunately its technology has not been available to the great unprotected masses of the poorest sectors.

Just to add, one of the problems of these countries are basing their debts outside of their own currency. The amount they owe to whatever currency they decided to base their debts are directly proportional with the amount they had to pay. It will undoubtedly increase overtime and the dire results will show.

Bitcoin, on the other hand doesn't promise anything about gains but you will surely lose more if you put money in here. Its about time we stop thinking that if they did this and that, something will change.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO owners and their dubious character. on: April 26, 2019, 11:56:31 PM
The number one solution is that people need to do their own research before investing in such projects. Maybe request a Face to face Ask Me Anything and don't believe ratings from paid websites like ICO Bench and the others. Podcasts are good tools too. Since you can actually here the people's voice. Or maybe conferences as well.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 📒⭐👑 Jinbi Token ~ ‘The Golden ICO’ - Merging Gold With Blockchain 👑⭐📒 on: April 26, 2019, 11:30:15 PM
Tried several times to upload  my voters id to get my bounty but it keeps rejected. The only id that i have is voters id. I dont have passport or any document to upload, is there any way to recieve my jinbibtokens?
I think you can use an identity card or driver's license, I'm sure you have it except if your age is still under 18 years
No need to use a passport or you can contact @jinbijoe on telegram I see someone who contacted him and was successful with KYC

Two types of documents are needed so that the KYC is approved:
1. Proof of identity: Identity card or driver's license or Passport
2. Proof of residence: utility bill or bank statement

Okay thats a bit odd but I remember submitting these two. The address of the two documents should match or not? Because both of these I submitted but the address is not matching thanks to that utility bill.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sparks Imminent Crypto Bull Stampede with 44% Gains in 2019 on: April 26, 2019, 11:25:16 PM
A 44% gain for the first two quarters of th year isn't that bad i guess
The thing about these gains is that the market has been seen in a better view.
We are almost getting near to the bull run and this year lots of positive news happens. I think this is the end of the bearish market and a fresh start of the bullishness of the market but i can't stop thinking whether the bull run would occur this year or next year because a lot of good news happening this year. What more could we expect this coming year 2020?
News is only secondary now, unlike before where people easily react.
With too much manipulation news cannot sink in to the correct price, speculation, hype, FUD, and etc are playing the market.
The reason I believe the market is bullish now is because last year long bear market make the market oversold.

People have panicked last year thats why the market is oversold. Just look at all those price drops for all major altcoins everytime bitcoin's price is down.
