81  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Bitcoin generator - exchanger365x.com on: May 05, 2021, 09:11:47 PM
LOL for over the years I guess this is my first time seeing a scam attempt that explicitly states that they GENERATES bitcoin lol. Well, I guess there's still a reason that they still attempted to scam people (which they did), and that is because people are now joining the cryptospace as tons of social media influencers and even news creates a huge hype to the media without even creating a huge warning to its risks hence people think it is an easy money which they therefore search for stupid things like this scam and would fell for it. One thing that they don't even bother knowing is how to see transaction history of a wallet which is easy when the scam website tells it is deposited on that wallet.
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MANY PEOPLE % DOES REALLY SUCCEED ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: May 05, 2021, 08:46:17 PM
Hello guys,
does anyone have any statistics % or information about how many people either succeed or fail (lose their money) doing trading in cryptocurrencies, also the people who are working on their own coin project( not a scam project)?
Thank you

If you can find a valid current statistics then I salute you. But as of now, I still haven't read nor found any statistical data nor researches that focuses on the number of successful traders and I'm afraid that even conducting one, it might result to 0%. Why? If you would ask a trader how often do he win compared to what he lose, he would rater tell you his month-worked income than telling you how much he loss in the process.
83  Other / Meta / Re: Activity issue on: May 05, 2021, 08:20:47 PM
activity is changing based on an post number in last 14 days, by 14 if you have more than 14 posts, and by number of posts, if you had less, so that is why your did not changed
you probably missed to see that prior to reaching member status, but that makes sense to have more time needed to reach member status, or all above statuses, not just by getting some merits, and posting daily, you need time to mature your status as well
from my point of view, it is a good thing, and helps against spam

AFAIK, Apparently you can have the same post count and activity count without really waiting for 14 days to gain 14 counts of activities, just simply by having at least 1 hour or more interval with your post since you create your account. Once you spammed and posted within 1hr, there's a huge chance that the mods might skip the other post thus counting only on the most recent one. I'm telling this by experience and not really by the main thread with regards to activities, and I guess this still applies tho.
84  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Donate] Building rice farms in the Philippines / Funding goal 0.007 BTC on: May 05, 2021, 07:52:15 PM
~

A little shocked that the project focused on making a farm in the country I live. And were shocked more upon knowing that the goal is only around 400USD or 20K PHP, which if tractors and equipments would be bought, might never be enough. A few questions that I still want raise, are the Taxes and the labor fees to those who would make this possible physically are considered in setting the collection goal? Since it is already completed, I think it is not that bad to make a "hard cap" like for the donation.

Good job btw. I think this is a nice way to gather enough resources to create something that would create more money and of course for the people who need it and would work for it.
85  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking to expand my team on: May 05, 2021, 07:22:24 PM
If you still haven't find the right person you can try and look for developers and a marketing specialist for the crypto industry in a freelancing website and I think it is much better as you can filter them out according to your need. You can even see which past projects they have been as well as there other qualifications.

Indeed. Finding a team here in forum is too hard as there are tons of factors that needed to be considered and one main factor is that the Credibility of the offer of other users in here. I can blatantly tell the OP that I am a programmer yet my field might not be inline with what the OP is looking for, regardless if it would contribute or not. Also, the anonymity of this forum still counts as a vital factor, as anyone can claim that they own this project, whilst not fully giving enough evidences to support the claims, or in other words, there might other claims that the OP would say and the users would find it hard to prove.

I really guess that finding freelancers in freelancing websites are way better solution than looking here in the forum.
86  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are any mainline stores accepting BTC on: May 04, 2021, 08:38:20 PM
Once again, I'm wondering how to spend some bitcoin. I paid a fee to buy it, and to convert it back into cash is an even larger fee. I have yet to find a store accepting it.
I don't mind watching it go up in value, but times are tuff, and that's why I invested a little in BTC.
What is the end game when we sell??  Does the tax man take most of it ?
My 3 banks I deal with won't accept transfers from crypto exchanges . I don't want to convert it to cash if there are merchants accepting it .
How about Amazon??

Tons of good suggestions by other users... or you can just go out and ask the stores if they accept crypto. I mean it is just a simple action. AFAIK, Some Starbucks stores accepts crypto. Also, If you pertains to online merchants/stores if they accept crypto, it is common that they often don't, as it is way too risky not only on their end but also on your side. If it is in physical stores, I know that most stores once they accept crypto they always show posters or cards about it. No need to search for certain merchants.
87  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MetaMask warns of new phishing bot on: May 04, 2021, 08:12:50 PM
This is really alarming when it comes to Metamask as their customer support is always active in twitter when someone has issues with either transaction or their platform in general. What adds to the risk is that there are tons of newbies that suddenly wants to try to invest in crypto and uses metamask as their first wallet and if ever that they aren't aware that this kind of schemes, regardless of being too obvious to be a scam, still exists. This is also the reason why I somehow spend a little time reporting such posts in twitter, as I know that it could be a little help to everyone on the platform.
88  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cebu City government eyeing crypto payments on: May 04, 2021, 07:47:20 PM
~

Remember, once na alam nila gano kalaki kita mo eh tiyak noted ang every transactions mo sa company nila which can be used naman by BIR and DTI if ever na di mo rin nililist yung earnings mo sa ITR mo. Bakit pako gagamit nito? Diba, wala ding sense.
89  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: https://doge-coin.me [ fake team ] on: May 04, 2021, 07:21:50 PM
~

I've also seen this one. It's too obvious that their platform is fake as I cannot even find any Terms and Conditions nor any Privacy Terms in their landing page. I'm just worried if there are people who still registered in this and tried to atleast earn Dogecoins for free. This isn't a faucet either as they use task-like ways to create engagements with its users. Unfortunately, we still don't know who is the platform's domain registrar as it shows no records upon searching it in who.is. Hopefully no one is scammed nor had stolen any personal information of any users.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: May 04, 2021, 06:56:19 PM
I am a newbie on this forum. My main focus is trading ( crypto) I have been trading for a couple years. Just curious to ask a question : what was your worst mistake ( in the very beginning, 1st year).
Would be happy to read about your experience !

Welcome to the forum!

In my honest experiences, my first mistake in crypto is that I don't really spent enough time to educate myself with it. Hence I tried to trade with simple Buy low sell high and lost it all as I only let my intuition be my guide on when to buy and therefore with no risk management and no fundamentals about cryptos that I buy, I always panic sell. I mean, wouldn't that be the common mistakes that everyone did?  Cheesy
91  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for founding members for a more anonymous bitcoin. on: May 04, 2021, 06:20:07 PM
You can always use Chipmixer if you don't want to wait, you will get real bitcoin without paying any extra fees.

This is also the first thing that came out in my mind after reading the OP's ideas about creating a much better privacy solution. I don't know this but if you want Bitcoin to improve, you can simply modify the current Bitcoin's back-end which is available in Github - hence you create a Bitcoin fork. And if you want a privacy solution, you either fork it, or make a centralized-like protocol that does the same as what you do when you mix your coins using the existing mixing applications. the "founding members" itself isn't really catchy as it creates an idea that this would be a founded project and would be an independent platform and not really the "aid" for Bitcoin's anonymity.
92  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Back to bitcointalk.org forum on: April 29, 2021, 09:54:39 PM
Welcome back kababayan.

Re-read mo ang rules and regulations ng Forum since baka may nalimutan ka or may changes after mong maging inactive
Seek for a certain motivation. Parang sa 2 years kasi na inactive yan, there's still a chance na di ka mahumaling matuto or makihalubilo ulit sa forum.
Wag ka sasali ng bounties if want mo or may plan ka sa pagsali sa mga signature campaigns. Inactive + bounty hunter = is madalas di matanggap sa sig camps eh.

Goodluck kababayan, mas mabuti ring sa english threads ka tumambay para na din exposure both sa knowledge and sa environment.
93  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Rugpull/sh1tco1ns in BSC on: April 29, 2021, 09:29:09 PM

Why? Crypto padin yan eh, napakalaki ng chance na mag rugpulling kaya laging "Invest only how much you afford to lose". Pabilisan lang, easy money kung kapa and bihasa ka na, and definitely not good for even 12-24 and more hours of holding. Funfact: marami nang naging milyonaryo sa shitcoins. Swertehan lang talaga.
94  Local / Pamilihan / Re: More P2P Payment options Sa BINANCE! on: April 29, 2021, 09:03:40 PM
Diba kapag nag P2P ka need mo padin ng other users to transact? But still, options lang iyan and wala naman din maapektuhan masyado kasi nasa nag pP2P din nakabase yung prices and yung mode of payment na kaya niyang tanggapin. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nonetheless, sending PHP to coins.ph with your bank account then buying XRP then sending XRP to BInance is my suggested option especially if di pa verified or wala kang balak iverify ang account mo sa Binance.
95  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptomineshop.com on: April 29, 2021, 08:38:10 PM
Hey, guys, I've been researching several sites so that I can buy my miner. I've been looking at reviews and everything else is not always reliable. I found "cryptomineshop.com" ... at first I suspected everything and everything, but I bought it on their website and after I made the payment all right and the order was in processing, I realized that I had made the wrong purchase, from a fan I thought was for the miner but it was for pc, I requested the refund and shortly after they sent me to I wondered if anyone had any experience with their website.

Good day kelvin. I don't know how you've "Researched" for that platform and still bought at their website but I just wanted to let you know that it is way easier to know which websites to buy miners is by looking at the Mining[1] section and find  any existing legitimate online websites or just post a thread on that section. Always be careful on buying online especially when the website only offers specific products with credit card as their mode of payment.

Sadly, you are scammed unless you were refunded with full price.
96  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: New and Upcoming Blockchain Games on: April 29, 2021, 08:12:39 PM

1. Revomon - https://revomon.io/
2. Illuvium (ETH network) - https://illuvium.io/
3. Kryptobellion - https://kryptobellion.com/

Goodluck and DYOR.

Kababayan ilng buwan mo ba kayang ihold? May plano ka ba like anong profit ang gusto mo at kelan mo gusto maachieve yon? Sobrang dami kasing kailangan iconsider bago bumi ng isang coin especially if gusto mong ihold to for mid-to-long term. This is not a financial advice at walang mag aadvice sayo kung aling coin.

Personally I want to invest on DEXE, BNB, and CAKE. Lahat yan pede mo din istake kaya good for passive long term income. NFA (not financial advice pls DYOR padin)
98  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Modus on Twitter [Scammers commenting on legit topics] on: April 29, 2021, 07:10:42 PM
Twitter is a shitty website anyway so I don't think that they will be able to cater the reports, it really is a sad thing because if you try and search for something that is pretty perverted in Twitter, there is a lot of it and no reports are made on this and has been happening for a long time.
Its on social media so everyone can freely make or do something like this. But we can help by reporting the website and tagged it as scam site. For me I could assure that its a scam site so we better report it and turn it down. No need to confirm it to pancakeswap, those guys are not low like this so obviously these are the scammers and lurers did.
What I am saying is that reporting this scams proliferating in social media is a futile thing because the moderation team are short-handed and ineffective in terms of addressing this report, imagine there are millions of scams and every scam is reported and there are only a thousand in moderation team, I don't think that they are going to be able to address all of that.

I don't think that you ever tried to report a suspicious post in the Twitter platform. If you ever tried it, you can notice that it will be instantly deleted, yet the moderation and security even in any social media websites isn't really that high. With the vast numbers of posts created every single second, do you think that a group of people could watch all of those? Twitter has been a great platform to promote legitimate projects and most of projects that were popularized on that platform returned a huge profit to investors. I don't know why a simple act of reporting a post that is a scam is pointless on your opinion..

99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I can never get my price :( on: April 29, 2021, 06:48:52 PM
Ok so I am fairly new to trading but all I'm trying to do is buy certain Crypto at certain prices. The trouble that I am having is basically the volatility of Bitcoin! One moment I'll put the Bitcoin equivalent of $2.00 USD as a Limit order on an exchange and go to bed then wake up the next morning to find it was bough at that Bitcoin price but not equivalent to $2.00 but more like $2.50 or $3.00 or sometimes $1.00. Am I doing something wrong or does everyone just deal with the inaccuracy of Bitcoin?

You should set exact orders. AFAIK if there's no other order than yours or there is a chance that your order is skipped, you sell on the nearest order that was hit on the market. Not all price points can be ordered as it is only a P2P like trading. For an instance, I've set my sell limit to 1.32 usd for a certain coin, once there are no other 1.32 usd sell order and some buyers orders at 1.29, you will get it once there are users whom have more sell orders below that price. Hence, your exact order would not always be as exact as it shows -- but would at least be a point closer.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: April 29, 2021, 05:52:12 PM
You've made a grand total of six posts having started three separate threads and name two and imply there is a third Casino that has ripped you off...

Isn't it time you stepped away from the computer and admit you have a gambling addiction?  The very fact you time and time again register, gamble, win (and who deposits $100 then gambles $10 at a time? - That's just ten rolls all up - you couldn't be that lucky!) then are unable to withdraw your winnings means what?  You're an idiot for not reading the fine lines when registering?

Proof, or, it never happened.

This is also a part of what I've thought.. the OP seems to be too much onto gambling. Regardless of how his posts is seemed to be true (obviously made with long explanations and stories), his stories still isn't valid. Almost all of the gamblers who've experienced using multiple platforms always reads the t&cs first considering that the OP tried so many platforms with his recent posts. Also, I hate to say this but I guess his stories are somehow an implicit way to promote a platform that is very unknown to us... still sus.
