IMHO spreading BTX between BTC holders won't work.

As I understand now we have 1Ml of coins on hands and 15Ml premine.
If it is required do distribute all premine quickly and attract new people.
Just raise the airdrop %. Make it 25% a week. In a month 2.5ML will be on hands. In 3 months everything will be on hands.
Make signature campaign with HUGE letters "+25% a WEEK".
It is possible to lower it gradualy for example 1moth - 25% 2month 20% 3month 15%
This way those who are first real supporters of the coin are rewarded fairly.

Why give 40% BTX to Bitcoin holders and 25% airdrop to the actual Bitcore investors who have been putting their hard earned money into Bitcore to support it? If you must stick with this type of model, Bitcore (BTX) holders and investors, who have been supporting this project should receive a larger percent of the final airdrop than BTC holders. Where's the loyalty to the Bitcore supporters? A mere 25% and a huge dilution of coins at one time into the marketplace? This is not a good model. This is not how you reward your fans. Change the percent of the final drop to 40% BTX holders and 25% to BTC wallets. I was wondering why the price drop and now I can see why. It appears that some people were privy to this news before others and they acted accordingly. It's a bit unfortunate that I recently bought a bunch of additional Bitcore (BTX), when the funds could have been better spent investing in a different coin.
Just read earlier. Almost none BTC holders would even bother claiming their BTX with today price. It is much easier to buy some BTX and wait for airdrop - much more profit in coins for them.
So I don't understand for what it is even done.
But the idea is to spread BTX to as many people as possible. If they will give it all to those who already have BTX nothing will change except the price.
I think it is better to get to as many midlevel exchanges as possible (if it is impossible to get in bitrex or other big ones)
Then marketing, advertising and spreading word about advantages of BTX over other coins. Thats the only way.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Iridium - Cryptonight PoW - NO Premine - Fair Launch - Low Supply - NEW! on: September 20, 2017, 06:22:16 PM
PLEASE STOP MINING FOR NOW! THERE ARE HUGE UNDERLYING ISSUES WITH THE BLOCKCHAIN THAT NEED TO BE SOLVED, WHICH COULD MEAN A BLOCK RESET SINCE THE ONLY AVAILABLE SOLUTION FOR NOW IS TO UPGRADE THE WHOLE PROJECT TO THE NEWEST BYTECOIN CRYPTONOTE RELEASE, BUT THESE BLOCKCHAINS ARE INCOMPATIBLE, UNLESS I GET A FIX FROM THE INTENSECOIN DEVELOPERS THIS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION SO FAR. IM EXTREMELY SORRY FOR THIS UNFORESEEN TURN OF EVENTS!

If you thinking of relaunching from start, you should premine to total supply as on date to give it to miners which mined, else it will be so unfair to miners.

For what it's worth, the words "no premine" are in the header here. It'd be a pretty crappy thing to do.
Because otherwise who will mine his coin again?

Yes I have several. The last I see arrived on 29/08. All later are not shown at cratopia.

1) What a problem with SWP Wallet?
Mine is syncching and working fine.
Was taken from 1st page on old thread.

2) I undestand their secrecy.
There are too many chiefs today, that copy codes, make clones, and start to piar ther cloned coins. To fast profit.
Then ruin that coin and its cloned algo.
It can affect to algo and coin from copy was made.
Just look at signatum, so young coin and so many haters and rumors and even attaks on them.

3) From Dagestan)
1) This is what I'm talking about. It is nowhere written that old wallet works in the ANN. If for example it wouldn't work correctly and you get wrong chain and loose coins then usual answer in such cases is - "сам дурак (you were stupid) - it isn't written to use old wallet". There is a link to github - but it is not working. Even on the first page there is a question about Win wallet and no answer to it.
2) There is no secrecy in compiling the wallet or releasing a miner soon. It's simple - if you say "soon" then make it soon or don't say that.

Read about the disitrubtion of clam coin. Its is just the same. They sent clam to every bitcoin/litecoin/doge adress.

Tried to find the info how BTC wallet can accept Clam coins but failed.

I said that we should get it onto coinpayments and the cost is only 1 BTC. They have 250k+ merchants and that would be beneficial news to all.
The problem with those 250K is that they choose what coin to accept. And most of them doesn't accept most of supported coins.  Smiley
It is won't be worse, but don't count on that much.

Got some results of Intel Core i7 7700K CPU ZOI mining performance
It's only 10% faster than Core i5 7600 so it's not a good solution for ZOI mining due to it's price

Did not really understand about snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain in october. The owners of bitcoin must clime their BTX additionally again?

i think they have another chance to claim their btx ,but only 40% . the plan still not talk about the final airdrop.
And from what fund will these 7 million? From the 15.5 million?
Yes, there is still no information on the scheme of the final airdrop.

If you just read the announcement carefully all the information is there. There will not be a final airdrop in november. The 3% will continue untill all the unclaimed coins from the orginal snapshot have been distributed. But not including the 7 million that will be sent to every bitcoin adress in november for the new snapshot. This is really a great solution and vastly increases the chance of real adoption.
Don't understand what that mean "will be sent to every bitcoin adress". I think if BTX sent to BTC wallet - they will be lost, especially webwallets.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcore - BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - CORE 0.14.1 -431110+ BTX Claimed on: September 20, 2017, 09:33:22 AM
We will create an actual snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain in october, the 30th. Every adress with min. 0.001 BTC will be funded with 40% Bitcore (BTX) of the total amount per bitcoinadress.
At this way, we will distribute approximately 7 million Bitcore (BTX) directly. In the end we drop around 45-50% of all nonclaimed bitcore and increase the circulation supply with around 8 millon coins.

We load the coins directly to the public keys, which are included in the snapshot. You can redeem them without a time limit.
Am I right that if I have 0.1BTC then I wil get 0.04BTX?

1) no successful coins? ... so influxcoin is not successful? ... granite has not come from 2sat to over 200sat in a matter of a few years? ... seriously? ... so your idea of success is not mine - which is not the next persons - which is not the next and so on ...

we dont work at YOUR pace - we work at OUR pace ... not happy with it? ... taken 1.5months to release? ... go and spend your time with fake and rip off people ( not DEVS ) like that other moron thats selling the miner he has ripped from other devs ... who keeps hyping things without any REAL development work ...

meanwhile - REAL ENGINEERS will do the REAL work - which funnily enough - actually takes TIME ... fancy that? ... time - and sometimes loads of it ...

and yes - weekends are for families and friend and for unwinding ... when we start to see a billion dollars on the horizon - we will employ hundreds of people to help and market and hype and SELL you products everyday of the week ... until then - you ALL have choices ...

all this sound too harsh? ... its not ... its just reality ...

the CWI-WebSite IS going to be delayed once again ... why this time? ... because money and design work as well as added components are ALWAYS setting the website back ... so we just need to negotiate and build what NEEDS to be built in the backend ...

no one ever seems satisfied here - fro ANY reason whatsoever ... this needs to change people ... YOU need to realize this is NOT all about you - and there is a bigger picture here ... the bigger picture is CRYPTO itself ... to DEVELOP ( NOT copy and paste like other crap people ) takes time patience AND skill ... three things which MOST in crypto have no concept of - especially those that think that ANY of these things are just simple one day things to do ...

for those people - i ask that you leave ... thats right - leave our systems - leave our coins - leave our network and our threads ... honestly ... we will continue without you - we will continue without the crap you publish - we will continue without these posts im posting now on MY sunday away from MY family ...

those that are still interested - welcome ... those that have been interested - tanx for sticking around - those that are new - you are in for one hell of a time ... but for those that continuously EXPECT with NO real feedback ... go away ... you wont hear this from ANY other developer / team / group ... this is because they are ALL in the process of trying to get MONEY from YOU in the form of btc or any other alt ... we are NOT ... believe it or not - we are NOT trying to get money from you in anyway by doing what we do ... the 'earning' will come later in the forms of products sold via theSHOP ... thats it ... THEN you can EXPECT and complain if you have the right to ...

till then - we will continue on OUR path as we see fit ... period ...

focus is the key? ... we are focused ... very very VERY focused ... Wink ...

Don't you think that it would be better to answer me directly?
1) Yes we have different points of view on "Success".
When I look here
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/granitecoin/#markets
and see 3years of development, no exchanges, 48K marketcap and 101satoshi price.
And lastly Google warns about main site as a potential threat:
https://www.google.ru/interstitial?url=http://granitecoin.com/
Yes it is unsuccessful, as for me.

Influx is the same as many other (even closetodeath) coins. May-July pump of the market. There are better ones and worse also. The time will define whether is it one time pump or it will succeed.

2) If you do business, and as far as you constantly speak about theFarm, theXXX etc. it is supposed to be business, then you are supposed to set deadlines. No info about the ongoing process, no news and the uncertaintness usually distracts people. If it is not business and just a friends club than it is not good idea to have "industries" in the name, better to say straight - it is our club and any time we can stop the development just because.
Faith is faith, but it should be strengthen by something visible. Every time you forget that you are just a nickname on the forum. Everyone here is an investor whether he just buy, or mine. And everyone want to make good investmenst. There dosens of scammers here and it is not easy to find normal dev's with good coins, and one of the main points is clear roadmap with deadlines which are accomplished in time. You claimed a lot, and at the beginning there was a visible progress, but now there is none. What I see for the moment is:

a) 1.5 months from "0.9.9 will be released soon, just some polish". If you are not going to release something soon don't say it will be "soon"? It is another difference in understanding words, or what? 1.5months is not "soon" based on 0.9.8 was released in less then a week after 0.9.7. Don't you think so?

b) No Sweepstake wallet with corrected nodes. It should take 5 or 10 minutes to make it? But again a month and nothing. For a month already the link to wallet on github is dead. Even old windows binaries are not available in Ann. Do you think that it is good sign of development? Just to make links work? And to make wallet available for new people? What about SweepStake feature - is it working now or not?

c) Just yesterday miners on your pool got many orfaned blocks. But you or someone else didn't come out and say something like "signatum network had problems with ddos and small pools like ours were affected by that. Sorry folks but we can't do something with that it's not our fault." I think Epsy has also much work to do, but he is online when the pool is hacked or have some other problems and still finds time to explain what's going on.

It is not blaming, it is just the constatations of facts.
Of course I'm not the one to learn but it is so.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 19, 2017, 06:25:24 PM
Nevertheless let me ask you how can you fix to the P0 (or any other) state on Pascal GPUs? I have both Windows and Linux machines so I'm interested in both OS.
Use Nvidia profile inspector to force p0. P0 is just to fix MC. So that it won't exceed stable MC on closing the miner. With P2 stable MC while running miner is 5800 (for example)?, and when closing miner for a short period it jumps to 6000 (for example) and driver crashes (or the whole system freeses). Thats all.

Anyone know why we got 19 orphan blocks in a row?
When? I can only see 1 orphan block in the last 70 blocks. Or are you not talking about BTX pool?

Anyone know why we got 19 orphan blocks in a row?
It's due to the problems with signatum network that it has suffered. Supposed to be a ddos attack.
Though it is very sad not to see someone from cwi explaining that and also dead silence and no news is not good at all.
Again problems with internet?  Undecided
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 19, 2017, 05:04:15 PM
Disabling P2 on 5x1080ti (3 diff brands) nets me 1-2% increase in hashrate at expense of 2-3% power usage - not worth for me, especially that it matters mostly in memory intensive algorithms which, as all we know, 1080ti are lackluster with.
P0 it's a question of stability when working close to max. P2 will crash when miner exit, P0 won't.

Ok, so now my wallet is synced... I got my coins out of Craptopia.

Now we have a much better exchange running... so what's the problem then? none, at all I guess.

I didn't like the interface at Craptopia anyway... It's possible that Topia got jealous that Sigt got added at a better exchange which made them look bad for not being able to fix probably some simple problems. Maybe this is a revenge of some sort, they don't want to lose face... Pretty sad really on their part if this is true Smiley
May be I missed somthing? What "better" exchange? Craptopia is the best among low-mid level's
