801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: May 07, 2017, 12:34:13 AM
Interesting analysis of STRATIS by Dr. Julian Hosp, cofounder of TenX, who are going to have an ICO themselves soon (https://www.tenx.tech):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXymCBURkJU
What's interesting about this analysis? Seems pretty basic and copied from their website. I would like to see something more researched/original.

What is the plan? There are so Much Exchanges to trade?
So many people wait Please tell us what Exchanges you contacted and when it will added to the Exchanges.

You know Poloniex is dream of every investor but hard to know about the parameter of get listing after Bittrex is best choice. If team will make some hard effort than this token can get listed there because they picking all potential tokens for trading.
Poloniex is unlikely to add TaaS for the same reason they don't add ICN (Iconomi). Bittrex/Kraken may be better shots.

most coins go below the ico price when they first launch.
i do not think there is anything yet to worry about.
That's a pretty extraordinary claim. If it were so, everyone would buy at the exchanges after launch instead of the ICO. Most of the highest-grossing ICOs traded significantly above their ICO price when they launched (think Augur).

Hehehehehehehe....... Secret news.......

http://tokensummit.com/#sponsors

I auto quote me, anybody know this news Huh?
Go to the conference and find out. It's in New York.

I'm going and planning on asking Tim any questions not answered in the AMA.  (that the community wants answers on)
If you're serious about this, you should ask community input, and create a list of questions that they want answers on. Perhaps start a new thread, since this one is moderated and threads with uncomfortable questions likely deleted.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUNYR - Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum - Completed! on: May 01, 2017, 10:38:55 PM
I also think current price is still low soon it will boost because it's accumulation time after some times it will move to upwards. No need to sell under $5 it has potential to get more high price very low tokens on sell walls so we have wait until the team will release than it will become more worthy.

It would be much appreciated if polo fuckers added lunyr and it got dumped to pesobit levels within the next two weeks after addition. But they chose to add gnosis instead, not sure why though but I do suspect busoni or whoever reigns over the polo cartel had a sizable stake in it. Now I see that eth value will affect the price of all tokens directly or indirectly utilizing its blockchain.

I think only a badly run project will say no to Gnosis, this is one of the most anticipated project this year, so saying no to guarantee  exchange fees is a bad decision
Yeah exactly. it's all about the money.

807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - Nextgen Financial Ecosystem | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 01, 2017, 10:07:27 PM
not much 2 retweet cause no updates on twitter Sad
haha lol keep calm dude,  Grin you can joining signature campaing or facebook campaign and other bounties to increase your stakes  Grin
Yeah, I don't think spamming Twitter is very useful for the team. If anything, it drives away legitimately interested people. Projects need to manage bounties properly, otherwise they degenerate into spam very quick.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins rising on: May 01, 2017, 02:34:41 AM
I think the scaling debate is more than a little relevant.  It's the main reason why bitcoin is losing.

the reason bitcoin is losing is because there's more dollars to be made with alts at this moment in time. the scaling thing is a convenient reason to haul people into fuelling the pumps but that's about it. i think people are more coin agnostic than we like to think if more profit is available.
I think the argument there is that a rising tide lifts all boats, so the profits from altcoins may not last, and once they don't, the traders may pour into Bitcoin.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: May 01, 2017, 02:32:17 AM
It is a good move by ICONOMI not to sold all their Golem holdings.By selling half Golem at high price, they recovered more than they invested and safe investors money and keep remaining Golem for future because they know Golem is going to be 0.01 btc.
Very witty people are behind ICONOMI.

Golem is definitely one of the fastest growing token on eth chain, I never thought those 400+ i have put into it when i trade on liqui had turned out to have good value. If I just knew it will grew that huge, I could have bought thousands of it.  ICN will also be big soon.
Wouldn't we all, mate Cheesy
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: April 30, 2017, 11:46:44 PM
Iconomi took $50k worth of fiat from ico money and used it to buy 5k ETH for Golem ico

Sold about 1.67m GNT for 5000 ETH

Remaining 3.3m GNT is worth 9157 ETH currently

$50k worth of fiat turned into $1.09m worth of crypto based on current spot price

That is some crazy returns from $50k fiat, how much of that is going to be passed on as dividends to it's holders
Not dividends, buybacks. The team will use the profits to buy back ICN from the market and burn it. You should definitely read about it in the next quarter's report, unless the team wants to advertise ahead of time. They may want to remain silent so they can make opportunistic buys in the market at lower price.

What exchanges are planned for Taas?
That's up to the exchanges now, isn't it?
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - Nextgen Financial Ecosystem | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: April 30, 2017, 03:32:52 AM
What if the 30k BTC target is not reached (high likelihood)? Are there alternative plans for Exscudo if only 2k BTC is raised by the time the ICO ends?
Would be nice to get an official answer on this. The person a few posts above raised concerns around this as well. It's always a risk when projects price their tokens in fixed rate, without a burn plan in place.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will the bubble pop?? on: April 29, 2017, 11:41:19 PM
Anyone that has been around here for a while probably realizes that the crypto markets are in a bubble. There have been crazy gains over the past year and/or months, and the upward trend is simply unsustainable forever. It may be time to start considering diversifying into more stable assets, such as FIAT/commodity derivatives such as bitUSD, Tether, bitGold, bitSilver, Nubits, etc... (any other suggestions?)

Now, to the point of this thread... my question is not if, but when do you think the bubble will pop? Are we talking weeks, months, or another year+? I know my answer, but I am curious what everyone else thinks.
You should share your answer!
In my experience, these are really hard to predict. I can see it as a bubble today, but it was also a bubble a month ago, and even 6 months ago. The markets can remain irrational for quite a long time. Remember in cyrpto there is always an influx of new money that can come in, considering it is so small compared to traditional assets. Small moves from the traditional financial world to crypto-financial world can cause huge changes in price.

WTF is that? ICN just got close to highest market cap of all time for some minutes.
Big news coming?
Read the thread earlier. Likely a glitchy trade.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: April 29, 2017, 09:47:58 PM
It sounds like Iconomi has the most advanced, sophisticated and bullet-proofed concept to succeed in the Asset Management Market compared to the others - with that also the highest funding.

What are you basing that analysis off of?
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LUNYR - Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum - Completed! on: April 29, 2017, 05:59:19 PM

This is wonderful result as expected in last week so many people join this corwdsale and make this possible. I was quite sure in the end of this campaign it will go around 45k ETH so I hope this will be very profitable for investors with limited supply.
That seems like a good project valuation. Not too inflated like some other projects, which will naturally diminish investor returns. If the growth in platform and price happen organically, the first adopters will be more motivated to stay and grow the platform.

Nice last minute ETH transactions. I taught 40k would be top but I am happy I was wrong. Now we have to HODL
You should never be surprised by last-minute ICO participants. The incentives for LUN were setup so that this would happen, and it did indeed happen. At least in some aspects, the crypto markets can be rational Wink
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [5797 BTC RAISED] TaaS: Token-as-a-Service | Closed-End fund [ICO ENDED] on: April 29, 2017, 01:58:22 PM
If people want to buy/sell through the forum, it would be better if the team can create an 'official' trading thread instead of polluting the main thread with these offers  Wink
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [5797 BTC RAISED] TaaS: Token-as-a-Service | Closed-End fund [ICO ENDED] on: April 28, 2017, 02:34:48 AM
what's the idea of this project?
As the title of the thread literally says, the idea is a closed-end fund for crypto. You can read the whitepaper and website and discuss any questions here.
