As the title suggest new to crypto, small investment of $500, which coins should I be looking to invest in?

It depends if you want to risk or just invest and wait, in second case just invest in first five coins if you want to risk try to buy some thrash coins and wait for their pump (you could lost everything fast too). |

Goverment could even close every transfer in crypto in their country so it depends where you life or you are going.
PS. In my country we are still waiting for answer about "crypto law" so now almost everything is legal.

Yes it is possible, bitcoin will pump in near months or even weeks and it will be going up like it did last year, so 50000$ is very possible price. |

The bounty program is ended? When the token will be released?  Thank you In Whitepaper is clearly stated that token distribution will be four weeks after the end of crowdsale, so you can expect that transfers will be released around 7th of February. I think it will be sooner, almost sure! It would be nice if they release tokens earlier. Actually, it looks like all is already counted, token is on first exchange. Soon it should be listed on BitBay. I see no reason to keep them for longer.. Lets the game begin!  |

For holding 2 or 3 months good will be waves in my opinion, just investing in it right now still has potential to just earn some.

No one can really tell what will happen in the future but I do believe you can profit off it, I advise you to invest in it but only invest what you wouldn't mind losing.
Investing in bitcoin is like 99% sure that you won't lose and after even short time hodl you will be able to earn some money. |

Hard to say but maybe MONK or Syscoin could just pump for more than 4x Times of course they could hit even 10x more like you want to.
