801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: July 31, 2021, 09:27:59 PM
Don't sell at a loss. Even if you bought at the peak of 2017, you had to wait 4 years to 2021 to sell at a profit. HODL
Things are never that simple if they were no one will ever lose money but the evidence shows otherwise so this cannot be correct, if you bought a good coin then your advice makes sense, even if you bought at a bad price as long as you held your coins then you're going to eventually be in profit, which is what happened to the minority of people that bought at the end of 2017 and still hold their coins to this day, but if you bought an altcoin that was unknown because you wanted to get a lot of profits then it is likely that if you have held that coin for that long you will still have massive losses as that coin simply disappeared or turned into a scam.
HODL forever logic is outdated, sooner or later the time factor will overweight the value. As long as the price is going down, buying in small parts and investing in reliable projects can save traders if the bear market goes longer than expected. One day the HODL coin can turn into a scam project as you explained and other risks are possible too.

It is only natural for a beginner to lose. That is part of the process of learning. When we want to try something new to learn, we explore it, and sometimes we can't avoid making mistakes. Even now I still make mistakes, because my excitement to enter the new emerging platforms and innovations in this technology is more dominant. Ultimately, the importance is still that we have gained knowledge that can be used on subsequent on our journey here in cryptoverse.
The process of learning is hard but it will be worth to keep doing the trades in different ways after having a proper trading experience. The important part is to learn from the mistakes of other traders, they don't do meaningless trades if there is no buying or selling opportunity but these guys are not 100$ bulletproof all the time. Better to keep learning and improving the chances of catching trends rather than keep losing to the experience market professional traders.
802  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Partner - UFC Betting Partner - $1M Race II ⚽ 🥊 on: July 31, 2021, 08:57:47 PM

Exactly, even non-VIP accounts get reloads if they have a $1000 wager in the last 30 days. For sports bet promos, the $1 requirement is nonsense because that requirement is to filter casino users and focus on the sports side of the platform. I doubt the special wager requirement will be asked for a birthday bonus, probably accounts above platinum will get a $50 reload or coupon.

You don't need to wager $1000 to get the reloads. I am non vip and a small gambler, but when there is a monthly or pre-monthly bonus I still get a reload every 10 minutes. The amount is small but it adds up quickly.
I mean for the last 30 days having a wager for being eligible on reloads, otherwise, I doubt Stake will throw away free money to all members. At least some requirements will be there to filter non-active accounts, IMHO.
Having a decent wager and getting the 1 dollar per each wagered thousand $ sounds better than just getting a free weekly base amount. Regarding the birthday promos, last year they made a $30000 worth birthday raffle and the stream of Eddie was 10 hours long, if I remember correctly.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is pumping now. on: July 30, 2021, 09:49:14 PM
28% increase in a week, not bad but I am not riding it yet as I believe there's a chance that the market will be dumping again, I'm just enjoying what I'm seeing now and I'll wait for another dip. I have a feeling that the current run is not a real bull run yet, it could be a bull trap, just saying.
Exactly all these makeups look like a bull trap or the fake breakout upwards, one single bad news can cause a huge sell pressure. Domini effect can cause a more dip in the prices and BTC can touch $25k while XRP will go below $0.3 easily. The huge pump on BTC market can trigger the bulls on altcoin markets, the next destination easily can be over $5 for XRP bulls. We need to see a low dominance rate by BTC and the rest will be done by the altcoin investors, IMHO. After reaching the desired low BTC dominance rate, I will invest heavily on the altcoin side after liquidating the BTC bull trade positions. Let's see what market correction will show us.

Each/day is not a problem cause just need one-time login, but 10 minutes reload? hmm gonna to skip these cause don't really like it need time to get a good amount to gamble it again. ~XD I more prefer they cut 30-40% for one time claim rather than 10 minutes reload, there is no way you can always come back to the site every 10 minutes. Because I have life Grin

Don't worry, it won't happen to your account unless your account is at None level, even None rank still get reward even though never play see when the monthly bonus this account still gets reload  Cheesy stake.com's birthday is August 7-8th, right?  In anticipation you have to make $1000 wager and at least place a $1 bet on sports , this is a requirement i always see in every telegram drop.

Just my experience tells me to keep wagering at least $3k per week will be better than wagering all in a single week, trying to enjoy your time on slots each week than chasing the loss streak in a few days. With this method, boosting the weekly promo and bonus amount looks like a reasonable decision.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 29, 2021, 09:58:36 PM
Personally, waiting for the clear direction of trend before investing more or liquidating the rest of the trading positions. Waiting for the reversal or breakout is the best method to find the trend direction, otherwise, manipulation can cost huge if something goes wrong. The fake breakout will bring the fools to buy more but the pro traders will keep selling to the newbies and the free liquidity will be provided to these guys. Being a smart trader and having a decent analysis ability shouldn't let the trader keep making the same mistakes and expecting different results, IMHO.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC fall below $20,000? Bargain hunting? on: July 29, 2021, 09:48:45 PM
I don't think BTC will drop so fast to $20k levels, at least a few months are needed to retest the old high prices and liquidate the previous buyers. Otherwise, it will be a win-win situation for both parties, better to wait for the clear direction of the market trend. The clear direction is upwards but the whales and market makers will not let all traders just keep taking profits over long-term bull market. We need to see the storm and winter is coming. Probably new sub $27k levels will be on the table, later the new bull attacks can move the market price quickly towards $80k in few months, IMO.
807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: July 29, 2021, 09:23:01 PM
For me, there is no good or bad time when to sell. Everything depends on situation. In case I'm really short of fiat or in desperate need of it, I will sell my crypto at any price. In all other cases, when you sell today, you must understand that tomorrow the price would be either better, or you would have better opportunities to achieve something. That is it.
If you need the amount you invested better to sell and reinvest when you have spare money. Otherwise, no need to wait forever for 10x ROI, the worst option is to sell when prices are down badly. Unless having an alternative option, using the indicators to detect top price and sell it is the best method, in my opinion. The limit orders are the best method to catch the highly volatile wicks of the candles on small timeframes, if you are lucky you can sell the ETH at the $5k in case of market goes crazy and liquidity dries up on the exchange.
808  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Partner - UFC Betting Partner - $1M Race II ⚽ 🥊 on: July 29, 2021, 08:57:06 PM
Now THIS is a party!

Congrats to the winner who has made it happen. Maybe he has been trying this for a long time. Most of the time massive wins were from slots. Recently myself posted a lucky win from an user who has made a 3016x multiplier, but the winning amount wasn't this big. The bet value was just 0.12$ in terms of litecoin. This happened with the slots game Money Train.
Holy shit, that guy won $1 million dollars and now bitcoin price also almost reached $40,000 ($39,ish) now. That winning amount is really life changing, he used big bet too (0.0065 btc) while others are too scared to use that bet.
If I remember correctly, this bet has been placed by Roshtein who is a popular casino streamer on Twitch. He has affiliate benefits, so only some percentage of the winnings belong to him, the rest should be owned by the casino itself. In what world, gambler spinning slots per $1000 or $500 every day on raw cash Smiley Imagine having a million-dollar balance and keep chasing 40x or 100x multipliers on various slots because you have to wager that bonus amount at least 50x. Now it makes perfect sense why they stream over 10 hours every day.
809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: July 26, 2021, 09:57:38 PM
No need to take a loan for Volatile crypto. No will will recommend you for asking loan. Sometime a bearish news red all market. Its better to invest only Extra money on it.

It seems to me that this loan is quite justified, it cannot even be called a loan.
We can say that you take this money as a trusted investment, in principle, you can offer a similar maneuver to your relatives. Free money invested in brick currency often brings profit.
What if the market goes down for years and no bull season in 3 years? If something goes wrong and his position gets liquidated it will be a tough decision to take back the rest of the capital or continue trading on higher leverage. From my own trading experience, sticking to the limit is the best no need to be greedy and take a loan that you can't afford to lose. The bear market is the main reason why we all chase the opportunities based on our predictions but not all of the predictions come true. Investing a small amount in the small marketcap altcoins can give the same ROI with big capital on the top cryptocurrencies btw.
810  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Partner - UFC Betting Partner - $1M Race II ⚽ 🥊 on: July 26, 2021, 09:42:47 PM
Congrats Stake team!

Hopefully, gamblers from the UK will be able to bet on Stake if team can pass the requirements regulation. I doubt the Curacao license will add something but getting a solid license from UK authorities sounds good, finally, UK players will use Stake without VPN Wink US and AU gamblers still pay to VPN services to use Stake in order not to get caught by the government.

Btw, the 5 million doge drop was cool, excited to bust it after getting the promo email from the marketing team. Hopefully, new bonus drops will be available for the end of the 1 mln dollar race ends in 5 days.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: July 26, 2021, 09:23:17 PM
The Terms and conditions is a very important page. To avoid a situation where earnings are withheld for breach of terms one should take note these in the T&C page.
It's where the problem goes when someone starts to withdraw and he's a VPN user but didn't read the T&C that it's not allowed by the casino. In that case, the amount will be held by the casino.
There were some cases that I've seen that they've been given a pass and it was resolved but I don't know what they did but maybe it's just about negotiation and compliance if asked by that casino.
Once I have sent the $500 to the new account on the casino for betting on promo, later missed the opportunity and decided to withdraw back. They have frozen my account and asked a couple of personal questions, asked to confirm my IP address and source of funds. After talking to support, they shared the Terms&Conditions and I am supposed to wager at least 3x deposit before making a withdrawal. I decided to bypass KYC and they sent back the deposit to the same address after 3 days of countless conversations. It is essential to know the main t&c if you don't want to get in trouble in the future.

Is there possible event or perks on 2B milestone? Im quite excited on this one. Smiley
Probably HHampuz will announce the guess the total wager contest with higher prizes like in 1B event Smiley
Maybe another Pragmatic slots giveaway will be announced when it is really closer, another option is to send reward -+10 close to 2B bets.
Being a participant in the Roobet raffles is interesting, easy to get 5000 tickets if you can play the promo slots by Pragmatic.
813  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: July 26, 2021, 08:25:12 PM
i am also a slot lover and only play on sites that are not ban in my country and i try as much as possible to avoid the use of VPN to bypass those restriction, even thou some gambling sites allow they user to use the services of VPN on some slot games. so i will advice you to search for gambling sites that are not ban in your region and play there.
wish you all the best and happy playing.

There’s a risk if you’re going to use VPN and you should aware of that since some gambling site restrict this as well. Regulations are the main reason why some slots game are not available in your country, it’s not being fair its just that they can’t operate in your country and the real problem here is your own government who restrict some gambling activities.
There are lots of VPN-friendly online casinos and OP can use any shared IP address. If the problem is privacy, buying a dedicated IP address and using it looks like the safest option, so no risk of being blacklisted or account-related issues. Unless there are strict regulations on the gambling industry by the government, just unblocking a single provider shouldn't be a big deal, IMHO.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: July 26, 2021, 07:46:17 PM
I believe most of the gambling sites have some kind of statistics that measure different variables like your winnings/losses, total amount wagered, number of bets played.

If you ask me, I'd say this is useful for the responsible gambler, but might be frustrating or even dangerous for someone who is or is on the edge of becoming an addict. Seeing how much you lost is not an easy task for anyone. You keep thinking about what other things you could have made with that money.

I guess you can come with something like: "This month you have spenth $300 (loss) on entertaining yourself." - I imagine that would help some gamblers cope with their feelings.
I agree, for example on Stake gamblers can request statistics and they can check the overall account stats for week/fortnight/month. If addiction is the case, checking stats will not change anything, the gambler will return to the casino for chasing losses as usual. Having a concrete money management plan and sticking to it is the way to protect your bank account/crypto savings in case of things go wrong. Overthinking about losses will not bring back losses, negative mental thoughts can be dangerous for addicted gamblers.
815  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 26, 2021, 07:21:38 PM
The issue is caused by roobet took bustabit's provably fair scheme, and then added this to their crashPointFromHash code:

Code:
  if (divisible(hash, 20)) {
    return 1;
  }
which causes an extra 1 in 20 games be 1x. The verification code that's being used is unaware of that change, so it's showing what the game results were on bustabit.

It's not exactly cheating, because they never claimed to not have it (i.e. pretend they have a 1% house edge). But it's also disappointing they don't publish the actual house edge anywhere... (and don't even give it when directly asked)

I believe we can all agree, roobet is the worst casino with those kind of house hedge then.

I am checking posts in this topic, they said RTP is 98% on all games, when on crash it's only 95%.
No way, you get better bonuses for your losses since alternative casinos offer the bonuses/reloads based on your wager(not losses). Unless you are printing all day, Roobet can be a top casino for getting a big percent of losses back on the Vip rewards system. Btw, not all casinos have the same house edge. I watched a 10k crash on Roobet in 6 hours while no luck on Stake for 2 days.
P.S: House edge is 3% on dice/mines/towers so probably same on crash.

I had 3k on pancakeswap and did almost 4x now is return to break even.
I had Ethereum 4.7 now its 2k
I had ada $2 now is 1.5
Also I lost in ogn

I lost a lot of money on crypto more than 8000$

Is it recoverble this year?

You should have sold when btc started to go down couple month ago , you know  btc is the is the king of crypto when is going down all other crypto are going down too!
After the bull trend and almost 60% down market, it is easy to suggest people sell while you had the chance. In reality, he should sell his crypto positions when BTC jumped from $25k to $30k and miss the whole train up to $65k. Better to sell in small portions instead of doing gambling-based trading decisions.

Well, some big project even more than 60% , neo after pump at 160 dollars couple days ago was at 25 dollars, 300% down after pump, but as you know lot altocin big project are manipulated!!
Yeah teams or whales just manipulate the markets for their own benefits, we can't affect their decisions but their decision surely affect our ROI on the long run.

818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: July 25, 2021, 09:45:18 PM
Compulsive gambling is a sign of gambling addiction and the gambler needs help to stop donating to the casinos. In the long term, the house always wins and the casino management has specific promotions to keep gamblers inside the platform. I don't think keeping yourself busy with something else will replace the entertainment in gambling, better to meet with someone from begambleaware team, IMHO.

Could you explain to me why it says 1x when it should be 1.21 ?
Probably you bet 0 aka demo bet that can not be found on bet history and made a real bet on the next round which was 1x.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 25, 2021, 09:12:12 PM
Don't invest in the altcoins with huge total supply, better to invest in the altcoins with a lower marketcap rate. The low marketcap altcoins have a better potential to hit the high prices compared to top altcoins, so in your case odds are in your favor if you can find reliable projects to invest in long term. Btw, don't invest in based on opinions of other people, make your own research before inveting.
