If I can keep rambling here, XCR needs to address early on another of NXT's key weaknesses - fiat exchange. Bter has a NXT/USD exchange but it is low volume and American users can't use it. Cryptsy has not implemented NXT/USD and this is a big problem for NXT. Please, XCR: push Bter, Cryptsy and anybody else you can think of to offer XCR/USD and XCR/EUR and XCR/CNY as soon as possible. This is important. It is a grave strategic weakness to let a coin be primarily valued in BTC. Bitcoin is going to fail sooner rather than later. On that day, it will drag down with it all other coins that have their primary value expressed in BTC. Bookmark this page, it is Bitcoin's deathwatch. There are certainly more than 37 Crypti investors here. There is no reason anyone can't click the link, pres ctrl F, type XCR and click vote. One vote per IP address. There should be a lot more than 37 votes. What? You don't want more buyers and the price to go up? Its easier than ordering a pizza. Hitbtc also states on the voting page that they add coins to the exchange that are on two or more markets. Once XCR gets listed on another exchange besides Bter, it will get listed here as well. Also, the sheer BTC volume of trading will make the exchanges take note. MintPal will add XCR when it gets in the top 10 in volume. No one wants to be left out of a party. |

Here is a theory of mine,
If I'm a Validated Merchant and I also have another standard user account (that is running a node) and I use my user account to "buy" my own goods in a closed loop will that make me eligible to with earn 50% transaction fee on my merchant account but also give my user account a high enough rating in the Proof of Purchase(PoP)+ Proof of Time(PoT) to earn the other 50% of the block reward.
This could essentially let me shark all the transaction fees on the whole network.
Do you think of stuff like this while waiting at the hole in the ice for a seal to surface so you can spear him? |

I see that I am getting an extra payout so YEAH! but I have not received anything into my wallet from mining for over 5 hours and they all seem to be hanging in the section on Dwarfpool called: 'Confirmed but still not on balance' Usually I get a payout every hour. Any idea what is going on? Front end stuff again. It will catch up when he fixes it. Thanks Its the middle of the night in Germany, so they are likely sleeping. A smart pool owner would put an upper limit on auto payouts just in case of a glitch or hiccup. When they wake up, they may have to enable the payouts. I have 9000 earned but not confirmed. |

Just noticed a retweet by the Winklevoss ETF shows a food business using the Crypti symbol (Ͼ) as their logo! Fascinating. In my honest opinion, I think BTER are intentionally stalling this for some reason. I don't think they've integrated anything at all yet, from them it's just more and more delays.
First off, why would their lead developer be on a 12-hour trans-Atlantic flight in the first place. Secondly if the lead developer is really overseas, then sure he/she would have FTP access to BTER's servers, what's stopping him from integrating/testing Crypti at the airport or on the plane, there's usually satellite internet on most major carriers. I don't see why he has to physically be at BTER's offices to complete the integration.
This whole situation with BTER seems to be getting more and more fishy.
SECURITY is the reason. DO you want the lead dev of Bter using his password on a airport WiFi? SHEEESH!!!!!! |

So when is the likely E T A of when it will finally launch on Bter?
It would be hard to imagine that the lead dev will get off a 12 hour flight then start on integration?
What is so different between the testnet and the mainnet that would require only the lead dev to oversee?
Having had a career of managing managers, I find it is more expediant and trouble free if I set the goal and let them fiqure out the best way to move the ball. I would trust that Bter knows what they are doing. I also trust that XCR is not on their "A" list. Look at it from Bter's position.... they have all the XCR right now, and ALL the trading, and ALL the commissions from the trading. Once they complete the XCR funding of the wallets, much of the XCR will leave and trading will happen on other exchanges. Why be in a hurry to have less business? |

Bter has over 60 coins on their exchange. XCR is not their top priority I presume. It will happen, just be patient. |

Yes, as long as you have a secure password to your Bter account. Did you enable 2FA? yes, i have 2FA at BTER Then all you have to worry about is the heat, snakes, biting flies, nighttime cold, and the lack of cell service if you get hurt. Burning Man by any chance? |

V1.5 will be released soon. But V1.6 will be more interesting, with a long awaited feature. Hmm, I'm curious what this feature is. I haven't really been waiting for any, but all of your updates have been nice changes in the right direction. I like how there isn't any drama and the coin just works. If that is the exact scenario, sure that makes sense. However I'm sure any number of people are fully capable of making such a report if they are working as a Dev at a well known exchange such as BTER.
Having been in top management of some large projects, I can relate to sending over the highest ranking man available to get the job done. The highest ranking employee will have the authority and knowledge to make the decisions that would be necessary to fix the problem. Send an underling, and they would be constantly calling HQ for advice and decisions. When there is a 12 hour time zone difference, this can be crippling to a project. When you want it fixed NOW, you send in the BIG GUNS. |

Bter mainnet integration update
Bter have made great progress in integrating and testing the mainnet node today. Unfortunately the lead developer is now on a 12 hour transatlantic flight and had to pause implementation.
That sounds very fishy! We want Bter to monitor the launch with us and be available in case of any issues. I'd like to remind that original launch was planned to Friday, and both we and Bter team had allocated time for that, which was interrupted by the unexpected set of events. I understand, but for the main BTER dev to leave his job for a day during current situation (the hack etc) sounds not really reasonable. The Hack may be the very reason he is on a business trip. If they are going to prosecute the hacker, someone has to make a report/complaint to the police in the country the hacker lives in. So you send your Lead Dev? You would need to supply the police with evidence of the crime, which in this case, includes electronic records. You would also need someone that understands the program that was hacked and the way it was hacked, as well as to be able to communicate with the police in their language. Additional information would have likely need to be downloaded from the Bter server to the police computer. Do you send the intern instead? |
