8061  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin accepted as a type of installment on: December 14, 2017, 04:36:23 PM
Would be Bitcoin still be high in demand if its introduced and accepted by the market worldwide ? or the Bitcoin sales will increase ?
Of course once btc is introduced and accepted by the market on a worldwide level it will have a higher demand. Which would also result to btc sales increase. Imagine if every establishments in the world accepts btc then the demand will go up and the price too. I imagine we'll have difficulty to get our hands on a single btc. Its price will be unbelievably high I'm not sure of I can afford anymore.
Once the bitcoin desire to be accepted as an online payment in the worldwide, then of course the market will be overwhelmed because 21 million Bitcoins total in the world. So of course there will be a lot of demand and the price will rise high, lucky that still keep btc in sufficient amount at that time.
Use bitcoin for online payments now. It's not a problem if both parties agree. I do a lot of computer components to buy for bitcoins. But this is not advantageous for small purchases because it is very high price for the transaction confirmation. Without solving this problem, bitcoin will not be used as means of payment.
When we do really try to see on its transaction fee then making it as a way of payment wont really make any sense specially if you do make micro transactions then fees would really be the main concern on here.I don't know what would be the solution on this one but eventually when this kind of situation on where fees are being bloated up they do eventually goes down later on.For now making transactions wont really be an ideal thing to do. Better to hold up and wait for the best time to make transactions which we can able to see that fees have been lowered down.
8062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: December 13, 2017, 11:27:36 PM
No contracts, etc. all build on trust. This is a problem that is difficult to solve.
Everyone is angry when they pay less than they promised. But how to solve it. Just do not support the project in the future. Tell everyone that the project is bad.

Yes, all was build in trust and i think they are privileged change rules bounties campaign with conditional the change must be notified on their website or bounty campaign topic before it's end the bounties campaign.
But i saw some ICOs changed bounties campaign rules without notify. It's like they're cheating participants
with this it is almost impossible to Fight and analyze every ico, we can say that almost every ico company sin precisely with the same changes in conditions. All participants can do nothing but stupidly perform their tasks.
We cant really do nothing if they would decide to change up the rules and payrates in the end of the ICO since they are the ones who do hold up the funds this is why I don't really like for those project that funds aren't being escrowed because the chance of changing payrates would really be high since they do have the full control of the funds and on the tokens available. They can do anything as they can. Sweet promises and generous allocations are just good to see when the campaign is just starting up but later on it would surely change if they do succeed on the sale.
8063  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: South-Korean authorities considering taxes on virtual currencies on: December 13, 2017, 11:02:11 PM
That won't be a problem at all. If that's the thing that will not not change their mind regarding to legality of Bitcoin there. Why not? Its better to charge tax to Bitcoin than to ban it. That is a messed up situation if that happen. Actually, US decided to do it to. So i don't think it's bad thing to follow US. And i think many countries will do this for sure. They should just atleast lower the tax rate and should be based on how much we earned on a particular year or month. So it wont be hurting small time traders like me.
It is okay to charge to us taxes. As long as it won't affect the relation of Bitcoin and altcoin to a country. That wont be a problem.
I would go for the same thought too which I would rather accept that they would really impose taxes rather than on totally banning it. It would be more acceptable and we can able to handle the terms and as being said taxes should really be not high because not all people do have the same capacity on making huge profits on trades. It would really hurt us up trader come to think that theres an exchange fee together with taxes then how much percentage would be left for us? Huh
8064  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net is a scam ? on: December 13, 2017, 10:47:19 PM
Waiting for Weeks to reset my Password.
If they don`t fix it in the next days, i'll be foreced to press charges against them.
What happened? Are you hacked? If you lost your password it's your negligence and not yobit though they are really poor when it comes to supporting their users and I'm also pissed off with them already. Stop using them if you don't want to have those worst feeling of withdrawal and other support queries. Always review people's experience and keep on reading traders point of view on this exchange.
You are right which Yobit doesn't have any involvement if you do lose up your password since it is really a users negligence why he do such lose such account password but you can anytime reset it since you do have the valid informations keep on those times that you are just registering but if you don't have those credentials then most likely you aren't the owner of such account and theres nothing you can do on making such access on it.Yobit isn't a scam but on their past and current issues it can be considered that they are scam.
8065  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to protect my computer against external mining? on: December 13, 2017, 10:08:49 PM
Being hacked from an unprotected or worse yet a duplicate SSID Wi-Fi network is easy to avoid by running a VPN kill switch setup. Being hacked for bitcoin mining is the least of your worries. Anyone using a novel exploit will NOT be picked up by antivirus or blocked by a firewall.

A VPN is the only answer!
Well said but for stronger and worry free protection then I would suggest having a Anti-virus + VPN would already block these sites specially you are logging in on public wife's which is really vulnerable either on stealing informations and do execute possible mining script but mostly on these external mining are caused or possible to be done when you do access a certain website and then automatically the script run out and you wont even notice that you are already mining for them.I have experienced this but having and Antivirus alone will really exterminate this hidden operation.
8066  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: December 13, 2017, 09:24:47 PM
For me, every time is the best time to buy or enter into bitcoin if you are willing to learn and earn. Yes, sometimes bitcoin price is decreasing, and that can be an excellent moment to purchase it, but it will be tough to predict if it will increase or decrease. But if you have the resources, money, and knowledge about it just buy it because bitcoin price is still growing. Smiley
There is no a good or bad time for bitcoin to invest, it just need a proper planning and management of time. The price of bitcoin is increasing day by day because day by day the use of bitcoin is increasing due to its unlimited benefits but its amount is fixed as it is a currency. One can invest any time in bitcoin if he wants and I think any time is best to invest in bitcoin.
If we are pertaining or going for long term then I would say anytime would be the best time to buy bitcoin and if op did able to buy on the time he posted this thread then for sure hes on profits seeing the price of bitcoin did rise up eventually into new heights which are good for short and long term traders but if you are really concern on short time profits then buying out on a certain point would really be important which its advisable to buy up when theres a pullback happening on its price.
8067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Science of Withdrawal from Bittrex on: December 13, 2017, 06:10:46 PM
Recently Bittrex wants verification for traders to verify and stop scammers. It is better for you to verify and it doesn't take much time.

and how this correlates with the anonymity of transactions ?

This exchange is not a decentralized one unlike on Etherdelta which you wont really need any KYC verifications knowing that these exchanges do need to follow some regulation specially if they are basing on a country which do have strict implementation regarding on these kind of businesses this is why they do really require this rule to avoid money laundering on any case which they do really need to implement KYC and now seeing on what happen here on Op,the thing he can do now is wait, verification duration is just like hitting up a jackpot when they did verify you on a short of time possible.
8068  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How is Bitcoin taxed?? on: December 12, 2017, 07:23:52 PM
I've been trying to figure out how Bitcoin is taxed before I trade. Does anyone know?
Okay lets assume that you do mean about direct taxation on bitcoin then this thing is impossible since bitcoin cant really be taxed directly since its a decentralized thing this is why government doesnt really like it since they cant able to control it but when we do talk on indirect way of taxation then this time is possible where they would really regulate those things which do involve into bitcoin business like on exchanges which they would really imposed taxes but well depending on a certain country on where those exchangers located.
8069  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how to know signature campaign application is approved on: December 12, 2017, 05:48:51 PM
hi guys I have applied for signature campaign how I will know my application is approved or not and I want to join signature campaign can you recommend me any signature campaign to join according to my rank.
I do see some Bitcoin signature campaigns that do accept Jr. members but when i do check out your post quality, frankly speaking you dont have any chance to be accepted seeing that you do have a 1 liner spam post which managers wont really like to see on people who do apply. For now if you do really insist on joining campaigns then better to try and enhance your post quality on bounty campaigns since they arent too strict when it comes on how you post as long you do follow their rules then you should be fine.
8070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC above 150 USD in February 2018? on: December 12, 2017, 03:49:05 PM
What a time to be alive! I never expected Litecoin to be my moon coin... Sort of makes me "regret" that I only invested in 10 when it was above $40, but it was a huge investment for me at almost my three month wages, but wow no regret at all. And here we were wondering if it would break and stay above $100! I know Charlie Lee mentioned a lot of marketing in the works and an all-new promotional drive, but even this sort of rise was truly unexpected.

I suppose we should now expect it to correct below $200? Or will it climb even higher to above $300 and stay there? What a glorious day for Bitcoin's little brother!

I could see a 30% correction from the top. The question is, where is the top right now? A fair value is 400 USD, but with this excitement we could see even more in the short term... 500?
There would be always a correction when it comes on sudden price increase and reaching out new ATH's. I was really surprised that LTC is kicking up on the end of this year which i did expect for it to move and start to rally on next year.It didnt make any noise on this last 3 quarters of this year and now it do boom up reaching 250+ usd on price.I do expect corrections where people tend to take profits which is normal but i do also wonder if it would sustain this level or range or would easily dump again it price on its previous level.
8071  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 12, 2017, 02:08:38 PM
Yesterday BTC fell up to $13k so it was good time to buy some BTC too. Now it reached $17.3k so it's already too late...
Still BTC is kinda cheap now though and you won't be sorry if you buy some of it now Smiley
This is why its always been suggested of that we should allocate or save up money for these kind of situation on where we do have back up plans on buying cheaper coins in times of pull backs of its price or lets say a decrease on its price because we do know on how it behaves. When it tends to go down again its always recovering up which means if you do buy on those dips then higher chances on getting profits on a short period of time but remember these kind of hedging doesnt work most of the time.
8072  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Come NiceHash Stored Nearly 5 000 BTC? on: December 11, 2017, 07:52:09 PM
About which NiceHash livestream are you talking about? When did that happen?
They did a livestream a few hours ago at Facebook talking about the incident and what happened.

According to them, the hackers were able to log in using one of the NiceHash engineers accounts and simulate a withdraw. Here it is:
https://www.facebook.com/NiceHash/videos/2013146182237851/

That was honestly worst "sorry" live stream I have ever seen. Also what they say about attack vector either demonstrate how unprofessional they are with security or they are not telling the whole story. I believe in any circumstances honesty would be the best policy.
Im not really convinced at all on their explanation on why they are being hacked and i do presume that this do have somehow a mix of inside job where they do just show out that it is really an accident. They are really just showing to the public that they arent really ready on these kind of situations on where they are really prone to hacking. Im wondering how those engineers accounts being known and been compromised assuming that they do really know the risk if somehow do have the access on those things.
8073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Myetherwallet problem on: December 11, 2017, 07:24:35 PM
Hello, since yesterday I have tried to get my token from myetherwallet and this message always appears to me.

"Transaction gas price is too low. There is another transaction with same nonce in the queue. Try increasing the gas price or incrementing the nonce."

Is there any suggestion that you recommend me to solve this situation?

Thank you all

Upon my research, it happens when you want to send a transaction while there is another transaction you sent earlier that is not yet confirmed at the same address. That's why you get this error "There is another transaction with same nonce in the queue."

And that's why there's a suggestion that you have to increase the fees for the transaction 2 so it will be processed and dropped the transaction 1 instead.

That's only what I understand, for those who have more knowledge about it, please enlighten OP with this issue.
This is exactly the thing why you do get such prompt message on where when you tried up to send another transaction on same address it wont really go through and you will definitely be prompted no matter how you do adjust the gas price it would be just still the same unless if you do send on another address then it wont really be an issue at all. The thing you should do now is wait for confirmation of that certain transaction and try again.
8074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on ICOS is good or bad ? on: December 11, 2017, 06:34:40 PM
Please give your ideas according to your experience.

Investing on icos can either be good or bad because it depends on what campaigns you are in to beaches icos we all know them about scams or whatsoever negative thing. But not all icos are just scames just most of them are scam I do not even know why maybe icos are just easily to do. But if you really wanted to invest on icos probably be picky and check all the points that you can see to them the whitepaper are the most important for me and also the members of those project maybe those are non professionals we need to be assure because we will lend our money to them
Always check the experience of its developers and also its transparency because we can able to identify directly if the project is a scam or legit ones or do have potential. This is the thing on what im doing always check on the people behind that project and if i do see some red flags then i do pass up specially on devs which do have issues on scamming in the past then its a big NO for me to invest on.ICO investments are really profitable but chances would really matter on how you do select this is why being researcher and keen observations would really be needed on here.
8075  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Insights into Gibraltar’s regulation on cryptocurrency exchanges and ICOs on: December 11, 2017, 04:30:32 PM
It is very strange such a country like Gibraltar regulating cryptos. I am not saying that this isn't a good new but It is kind smelling fiscal paradise. Just google about this country and you'll see a lot of tax evasion related news, and we know how easy is to hide your gains with cryptos. Maybe we can see more people starting their ICO in this country if their government make it easy to do.
If their government would really have some motive then for sure they will really accept it without any hardship since they do know that they can able to benefit from its usage. As i have seen and search this place do really have an issue of tax evasion. If they do regulate and adopt it then its their choice but this kind of adoption would really have some dark purpose behind.
8076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think any other coin will take Bitcoin place someday? on: December 10, 2017, 06:16:37 PM
In my opinion, with the advent of Bitcoin, more altcoins get known too. This opens a lot of opportunities for new or already existing players to attack Bitcoin flaws (already happening) as huge fees or long transaction times.

Do you think that any of these altcoins can take Bitcoin place someday? Being the first does not necessarily means being the Top1, this happens all the time, especially in the digital industry. E.g: Naspter/Spotify, iPhone/Android, etc.

Everything is possible since nothing on this world cant really be replaced by other. If people would really feel that they should choose up another coin because of Bitcoins flaws then they might really jump into alts which would patch up the things that bitcoin doesn't have.Yes,there are possible altcoins that would took its place but not on these days.Bitcoin community is too big and wont easily be discourage on what are the things we are seeing now on bitcoin. No matter how high the fees and longer the transactions people would still remain.
8077  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do you think, will states be able to regulate the crypto currency? on: December 10, 2017, 04:44:39 PM
Actually of course it could be I think, if the people and governments really knows more deeply and understand all things related to crypto currency. will definitely be able to regulate crypto currency (bitcoin) and makes a crypto currency (bitcoin) as an alternative currency for the community, but yeah.. it seems that most countries that haven't legalized bitcoin, is still worried about the risks that will adversely affect the country's financial system, as well as the country's economy.
But it doesn't rule out the possibility as time goes by.. I think some countries would be more of loud thinking on crypto currency, it could be that some governments on each countries will trying to legalize bitcoin and regulating it with the rules.
Why is it the people? In legalizing cryptocurrencies interested in the first place the government. I am sure that the state will act repressively. Let me remind everyone that bitcoin was invented to give people freedom. Cryptocurrency is part of a free economy. Any legalization that would be to deprive us of our freedom. The state has Fiat. They let him govern. If the government is fairly distributing the income from the bitcoin economy would not have been born.
This is why Satoshi did have this kind of goal or plans while creating bitcoin which to really have the freedom to those people who are manipulators which is the government. There would be no equality when it comes on Local fiat this why Bitcoin is a revolutionary thing that make things possible to be freed out on this situation. People are just thinking off on legality or adoption because they are only seeing that they would able to use their bitcoin directly without even knowing on what would be the possible results would happen.
8078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Transaction with MyEtherWallet is Pending on: December 10, 2017, 03:14:06 PM
Today i had tried sell my ETH on localethereum. It took more than an hour. Huge commission and i really disappointed. Many airdrop coin pointless to sell on ED.

Yeah, if you take 50 gwei of gas maybe not spend a long time, just several minute. My friend was tried it and success. So we have to spend a lot of gas to transaction, start with deposit, sell, and finally transfer to our wallet. If we take 50 gas it means 150 gas that we have spend to 1 transaction. Is it much eth that we've spend. For the airdrop it is too little the prize of it. We wait until the ICO's end. I hope taht happen is not so long. And one problem i'd got the transaction. Cause of this transaction my token was lost. I disappointed.
50 gwei is too much on a single transaction which would not really be worth of if you do only pass up small amounts. If you cant really wait then its your own decision to use up some amounts to fasten up the transaction confirmation. Network is congested now which we can really expect some delays because of that DAPP.If you don't like to add up fees then you would need to wait until the network is not already fully loaded.
8079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: December 07, 2017, 10:12:50 PM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?
Bitcoin a cryptocurrency that will be use to pay worldwide also a good way to invest your money, so for me Bitcoin will do nothing wrong to a country that will use it us a formal currency that will be use in daily transaction and with this it will even improve that country because of this is a worldwide currency and may even affect the world by balancing its value making it equal to all nations. just think of this one a currency that is equal to all nations that will use it.
Bitcoin poses a threat only to the banking system. States have to their credit more money than is now bitcoin. We can't spend bitcoin in stores. In order to buy something we have to exchange it for Fiat. This means that bitcoin supports the state economy. What's wrong if people have more money and warm up the economy with their purchases.
You are just seeing on the one side of the story which you are pertaining on active spending of people who holds bitcoin on that particular place. This is possible but on rare cases because not all people who hold bitcoin will actively spend their bitcoin in exchange on their own local fiat. What if we divert such situation? What if people on that place tend to switch to bitcoin fully and hoard them and not spending it? For sure it would really decrease circulation and supply. Not only that Bitcoin can ruin a country in terms of taxation. People can evade tax because of it.
8080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: December 07, 2017, 09:38:32 PM
I think when they change the rules of the game already in its process, it's wrong.
the guys work, and then through time they go into the branch, and they see that they worked for free.
You are really right in this matter, because I, too, have been deceived in this way in many ways, and besides, if you look at a lot of the project existing on the forum, they sin in the same way.
There are lots of bounty hunters who have been deceived for how many times already on those campaigns which turns out to be considered as scam because they do changed the rules and payrate after the campaign have succeeded and accumulate millions of funds from its investors and which turn out that you are just working for how many weeks to promote them and provide all the task they need but still end up on receiving tokens which isn't really worth for your hard work.
