Some hate SegWit because even after its implementation, we are still having the scaling issues ongoing as well as the fees are getting higher and higher each day.
That is why I bought into SegWit and that is why I am dissapointed in SegWit. True, even if there are segwit being applied, in fact, the fees continue to rise which sometimes look unjust anymore. Well we can't blame them, we are not the only one who wants to gain profit using cryptos. Companies and businesses needs profit to see that they are effective and that they are going well. I just hope that when another segwit will be done, there will be a concern for the high transaction fees. I don't have any hopes related into this matter which I do accept that fees would really be incredibly high as the adoption of bitcoin would still continue to grow.Segwit for me or on other forks are just like ending up some drama and don't really tend to make innovation or solution regarding on this matter which it turns out that it would just be good for easy money or free fork coins. Some people do hate it because it doesn't really give any contributions or actually give an affect on bitcoin development and also it do affect the price as well. |

well it varies day by day because we don't know how many user win and losses, still in the long run, gambling site will always win but you will need to find one with good trust and proven fair else its mostly scam
Ya make sure we check the background of the gambling site we wan to invest.This is because some site got hacked when the they already have a huge amount of margin from investor.Maybe the real hacker or maybe the owner of the site opening a loophole and claiming the site was hacked. Then what is Etherdelta? If its not an exchange?  Its still an exchange but a decentralized one.I do really feel on what OP do experience on this site which loading times are very long since the UI of this exchange is too heavy even if you do have the fastest internet the site loads really slow compared into other lite UI exchanges but talking on their service I would say this is the most common exchange on where most erc20 tokens are being listed so easily and when you try to see the volume of coins either on trades or overall volume you would say there are lots of traders on the site. |

That already many have come across this and I think there are few people left that were abandoned with the first setbacks or obstacles. so it's inevitable in any case, and what you described is just the possible risks, which are already known at the very beginning.
I'm not disappointed totally, yet it could have been much better than this. I couldn't get what I want. I missed too much. I missed some major trends and major price actions. Actually around and after bitcoin forks, I lost some nice amount, unfortunately. I have seen many people who have faced great loss in trading and there were times when they decided to give up on this profession. Life is full of failures but only those who do not change their path due to hard obstacles get great rewards at the end of the day. It is very fine to make mistakes as far as someone is learning out of them. Trading is a risky profession but once a trader gets hold of his emotions, he can make huge profits. But there are circumstances on which we did able to make our best to do such thing but no matter how hard we try we do still able to fail which there are really things that aren't meant for us and better to seek another thing and might be possible to change the way you are experiencing.I have seen people that do engage on trading for longer period of time but they aren't still effective or to be profitable I don't know whats the reason but I would say trading doesn't really fit them at all. |

I have some money to invest in cryptos. Nevertheless, in last 3 month BTC did x3, ETH did x1.5. I`m not sure if it will grow anymore... What do you think?
Its possible but no one knows on when it would able to multiple its prices but for now on bitcoin it would really hard to reach up x2 x3 or x4 on this current prices but for ETH it would be possible but would take for longer time for sure.If you did able to make shortings on bitcoins price movement then I'm sure you are making some serious profits as of now because price movements or waves are really good to ride on bitcoin. |

First I saw the enthusiasm of my friends in the village who had already mined bitcoin. About 3 years ago, my friend once invited me to join him.

and now I have graduated from my college.
then yesterday I accidentally saw my friend on Social Media, he has been successful with his efforts. I started chatting with her, she said her success was due to bitcoin.
after that I am more curious and interested to join to bitcoin.

Lol... this thread was posted when the exchange rates were going at around $4,300 per coin. They have increased by close to 125% since then. If the OP had purchased BTC as he posted, then he would be a millionaire now. He would be millionaire if he did invest or bought lots of BTC on those days but if not then getting to be a millionaire isn't possible for sure.Risk on putting all of your money or assets in bitcoin is risky since we don't even know on what is the future of bitcoin on upcoming years but if we did able to invest on those earlier years then for sure we did make some good amounts of profits. |

It not only has gone beyond gold price but Bitcoin itself is right now more valuable than Visa (The credit card company) Great days are awaiting bitcoin users, as the price is about to reach is story best mark over 10.000$ USD @current preev rate. Yes bitcoin become more interesting and valuable than other because it can give a good profit in a short period of time and also it increases it's price that other can't do. This is why it makes it special among others when it comes into investment side which bitcoin can really give how many folds of possible profits when the price do hits up on certain ranges.Since this thread is almost a year old and price of bitcoin as of now is already 10k which is x more than on the amount of gold if we do try to compare them but well no matter which thing we do these both things are really good for long term. |

You should continue trading. Trading is not always giving profits because there are times that you need to accept losses and make them as a life lessons so you can be better in making decision in the future. Losing 40% of your capital is small compare to other people who almost loss everything but still didn't give up in trading for trying to recover those losses.
In order for us to easily accept when we lose in trading, we need to start with a small amount of money. Trading in crypto gives small traders a chance to play with this kind of game as it does not need a big amount to start, so why start with a big amount? When we do still on start up specially on trading we should really start up on small amounts and would not really tend to rush up on using large amounts because you would surely lose that amount since we don't know still on what we are doing which we are really prone to mistakes which I can see this is really just a normal thing and we should accept it and learn from it because it will really mold us to be a better trader later on. |

BCH is drag queen! That's giving *BCash too much credit. Although the BCash CEOs seem like they would be into that. Is there a CEO in the Bitcoin Cash? Yes there is. Which is quite funny considering they pretend to be "decentralized". There's even a "letter from the CEO of BCash" floating around on their website. Wu and Ver are the CEO of BCH garbage, aren't they? Noboy is moving to BCH, calm down a bit. People are still loyal with bitcoin and they won't leave bitcoin for such garbage. They're experienced miners of the ecosystem hopefully. Garbage indeed and I don't see a reason why would people would dump their BTC for the sake of BCH? They might possible to do such thing but for the sake of money or profits not totally on changing loyalty. Even miners they do only temporarily go to BCH and later on in the end they still coming back to bitcoin. Support is big and strong with BTC and I cant see that bitcoin would die easily. |

Base from my recent post "Does bitcoin could be call a job?" I have read your opinions regarding to that. Doing these things is a form of earning money basically we have income. So does it need to be taxed? Because this is also a source of income, and we might call it as a job?
Bitcoin do generate a job for those people who do engage with it but since it is not regulated yet on most countries then I don't think that we are obliged to pay up taxes this is why we should really cherish those moments since we can able to get our profit or income as a whole without any deductions compared on having a day stable job on normal life. |

The risk of you losing your investment on ICO`s is 90%, i think you should rather think hard enough before joining ICO.
Its not safe to join them since they dont have a money back guarantee or even return of investment.
that's right, so many new ico's was born and mostly also scam or not successful projects that the result will losing your money. so should really analyze before you are sure to put money in ico's. If that's your account then better to go on reputation section which you can find here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0 which you can post valid proofs that you do own that account and it is being hacked. Good luck on retrieving it. Back to topic when we do speak about safe it means 100% prone to risk and this is not possible on participating on ICO because we do know in any investment theres always tied up with risk. |

I would recommend chasing the pump, let those whales pump what you have. Look for those that not yet pumped for the past 3 days or more and look for the lowest price for the past week. Use those tools like RSI and Bollinger Bands. While its good to buy coins or token that have high volume, you might want to consider also those with low volume.
I wonder why people want to know about the coin who are about to pump. Pumping coins are always risky as they are pumping by the dev or teams for their own benefits and it is very rare chance that you get profit with their pump along the way. I would suggest to go after the good well established coins which raise slowly but they have a reason to be moving up and they are backed up by good projects and ofcourse an honest Dev. People do really seek out those opportunities when a certain coin do might pump because we do know if we did able to ride up then its a guaranteed profits for us without doubt. Knowing next pump informations would really be rare for us to accumulate those informations specially on some coins where devs tend to plan to pump their coin.If you did able to hear out and joined on the right time then you are lucky. |

So It's that time of year to start making predictions for next year, so I thought I would go ahead and see what everyone else thought about predictions for the end of year price for Bitcoin or BTC. Personally, I see it at about $8,000-$8,500. I think big investors looking at Bitcoin will wait until the New Year to start buying Bitcoin in order to save cost on accounting and taxes for this quarters numbers. What does everyone else think?
Most of bitcoin users would really have the same mentality or thought on this one which we can really compare on the situation on past year on bitcoins price which theres a demand which causes its price to increase even more. 8500 now on November is already reachable since we are on 8200+ price as of this writing which we can able to touch that 8500 price and on the thing I do expect on here is that the price would hit up 10k which most all bitcoin users are waiting for. |

I was so nervous that when bitcoin price dropped to 6000$ I was scared to loose more and withdrew my coins only to regret later that it became 8000$.

Sorry for your loss since you did easily panic and sell off your stash on lower prices which is commonly happening on most newbies since we dont still know on how bitcoins price do behaves on this market which it do drops but later on it would recover and would possibly reach up new heights.For sure this mistakes would really make you learning and for next time you wont able to commit such mistakes again and again. |

yeah,you are right but im not working yet.im a fulltime mommy and im thankful to have a job like this.it will be a big help To me ad i earn.more power to us especially bitcoin. Bitcoin can reduce the unemployment, but not to the full extent. Youths can take it as part of their work not as a full time. Investment is also a question if someone does not have money to buy bitcoin that is also a question, so they will have to borrow money from others then by cryptocurrency activities can make money so that they can give back the money. Its not fully necessary to borrow money into someone or other people just to make investment or to buy bitcoin since we can able to earn bitcoin with some task or jobs specially on this forum and as a student or people who dont have the capability to put some capital to start on. Bitcoin do reduce unemployment but only for those people who are knowledgeable with tech or recent news about on the things on online world. |

Hi there!
I recently learned that, ideally, you should only sell cryptocurrency once its value has increased by a factor of 50-1000.
In other words, if I buy $100 worth of TWINKLES (as an investment), I should only consider selling once they're worth $5000-$100000 (50-1000 times the original investment).
Would you say this is fair?

On the current situation of this market long tradings is possible and been worth but most people would really do short tradings specially on alts because as i do observe too that alts wont really able to give you the chance already on hitting up 50-1000x on your initial investment and if it does then it would really require for how my months or even years which would really depend on the project you did invest on. |
