821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: August 28, 2019, 10:24:31 PM
I have heard some stories about making bitcoin transactions illegal. It's all been a humor and I don't think any government have officially made bitcoin transactions illegal. Why is that?
Many governments are trying to regulate bitcoin, control exchanges and force people to be authorized. But I am sure government wish bitcoin was not created and there was no trouble of regulating bitcoin. They  prefer their fiat to any other currency.
Why no government have made bitcoin transactions illegal?
I think they want to avoid creating an underground market. They don't want bitcoin to be traded like Alcohol and drugs. They have to accept bitcoin as they cannot stop a decentralized network and now they can only try to regulate it. Do you agree with me? Is there any other things have caused governments to not make bitcoin illegal?

One reason maybe that here in our country bitcoin is legal is that they have portion of profits earned by the bitcoin traders ou here. Another is maybe they don't see bitcoin as treat and thus leave it alone as it is, but they are monitoring it and investigate about illegal transactions such as using it to buy illegal things.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: August 26, 2019, 05:55:09 PM
For I chose mine is because it was the first exchange that have referred to me by my friend. At first I wast not able to fully understand how does trading, but then it has a newbie function where  you will undergo simple basic tutoring on how does it works. Then I stick to it and still now I am using it, there are other exchange too that i used and most of them did not tell me to go KYC procedures until they insisted me because of many hackers that are trying to get informations about less protected traders at that time so I get their advice and it works fine with me, so it seems mot exchange that I am in is customer friendly and aware their customers safety. One of the reason to be trusted, by the my alt are in their exchange and I have no worries at all.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 26, 2019, 04:50:02 PM
Back then I created a thread to let everyone to share their amazing stories, and now it became so dramatic that we almost laugh at it.

So let's start a new one, instead of speaking again and again about strategies and its effects, instead of talking every bad things that may happen when playing to much, and also instead of talking about how will someone gonna spend their winnings and also about their feelings...

So here's the thing, what does come into your mind when you win? For the first time? For the second time? Or even for when you win always?

Of course some might say that "isn't it obvious? To bet again and to win again" but this ain't the real thing, various reasons may come up for every individual. So let us put this into discussion.

Win one time and bet another hoping to win more. That's the thing that comes up in my mind when it was my primary years of gambling, but later on it changed. When I win big I bet another in small amounts and keep my capital, if I win from the winnings then I withdraw the initial cacpital and keep playing with the winnings, but if it failed at the first try then I stop and try in another time.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Cloud Outage Causing Major Issues at Some Crypto Exchanges on: August 26, 2019, 04:06:31 PM
That is just my assumption though, because I have never witnessed or experienced such thing before for me to know how it is being resolved, I think that it may likely affect the exchanges’ wallet, but I am sure before they get to remove it, the value would have been adjusted back to the real one.
From what i understand it is a software glitch and really bitcoin are not being sold by anyone but the system updates the balance and if the exchange do not identify the issue and the user withdraws the amount then there is nothing they can do, these events happened in the past and some users have filed a complaint because they were unable to withdraw the amount they held in their account. These are rare incidents though to happen and hopefully exchanges will sort these out completely.

So the traders that have nothing to do with the glitch will pay their mistakes? Did it ever happen? The ones who bought the BTC with that price? Is he able to withdraw the coins? I have never imagine that such case existed.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 26, 2019, 03:15:26 PM
I was wondering if there's any new thing you expects to see in a new Casino website that would make it truly unique? To me, it doesn't really matter if it's just a dice or multi casino platform. What I consider truly important is relationship with the customers/players. Not being shady, trying to game players with bogus Terms of Use. I also like proactive customer support and a platform run by knowledgeable operators.

Deposits, Bets and Withdrawals: I like instant deposit, doesn't matter if withdrawal is automatic as long as it is honored in a timely manner.

VIP: This seems pretty cool to me but not 100% necessary.

Support: Like I said, I like Casino site with proactive support. Live chat is a must to me if I am to use the platform. Although I may not use it, seeing it gives me a kind of assurance.

Prizes: This is neither Yes nor No to me

Games: Like I said, It could be one game or multiple games platform.

Auto-mode: Auto-mode with stop loss is cool to me too and will encourage players. I like cashout system.

Dice Speed: Slow-Medium speed dice.

These are popular features of current casino platforms. Do you think it's necessary to bring in new features or we should just limit it at these? Innovation is what drives every industry. So, I won't rule out the customer's desires. What are the features you always look out to see in a casino site that you would like to see in a new upcoming ones?

Thanks and feel free to say Hi to me in aanyway you can  Undecided

I like the idea of having a live conversation with the support team for any concerns about the give, that way they can entertain and help us face to face even though just on screen, it is really different from just chatting with them unseen.
826  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: August 26, 2019, 04:01:13 AM
I do have some savings in the crypto currencies but I take when I badly need money, such as emergencies. At times of need like health problems then it should be taken care of right away. Where does that belong to? But I do like to keep my coins if not needed and buy mire when I have spare money, maybe I fall for the bull in your poll.
827  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: August 26, 2019, 12:06:13 AM
can you suggest me a good casino site that offers high claim of satoshi when claiming to their faucet?
i want to try different sites

How high is the faucet you want to claim anyway? windice.io can maybe give you the amount you expected in a faucet game called mine sweep, the higher the score the better the rewards so try it, because for me I like the dice game and the free faucet.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 25, 2019, 09:37:34 PM
Politics seems predictable most of the time but looks like few people actually bet on it. Example, you know Joe Bidden has probably 50% chance of winning the Democrats primary. What stops you from picking and betting on that? Do you bet on politics and what are your winning stats.

Some time around October 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape was released, a certain betting site gave 108 to Trump winning the election. I believed strongly that Trump was going to win despite everything thrown at him. I had $5,000 and wanted to pick the odd. Somehow, I didn't follow through. That could have given me over half a million dollars in winning.

How often do you bet on Politics? Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics? Do you know any trusted betting site that offers good odds in American Politics?

The only thing that I don't bet even once in m entire life. I have never engage in this field and I don't have the plan to. It's just it is full of deceit and liars, fake people, back bitting friends and sometimes even family. I could bet all I want in other things not just this and never will.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 24, 2019, 07:16:01 PM
As you can see in the list you have brought to us, all of the countries mentioned above are somewhat in a great condition. What I mean is they are rich countries, so furthermore countries that are somehow not stated above and allows gambling in their vicinity: the obvious is that they most likely poor countries and populated. If that's the case then somehow those countries above have maintained law and order in their place and less crimes are done. A good government is trying to stop it's citizens from being destroyed and a bad government will let you gamble all you want and  all that they care is profits from you, not caring on what you may become later on.
830  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you really think U.S. government worries about drugs? on: August 24, 2019, 06:38:36 PM
United States government has always been against using bitcoin. What is the reason?
They say bitcoin is used for illegal transactions. What do they mean by illegal transaction? Do you think they mean buying and selling drugs?
I don't think they worry about this. We all know drugs are easily bought using fiat.
United States want to control every transaction. United States imposes sanctions against every country they want. Bitcoin is decentralized and anonymous and people and other governments can use bitcoin without any permission by United States. That's why they are against bitcoin.

Not only drugs is the primary reason you know, there is also terrorism, and it's acts. Like purchasing weapons with BTC or supporting any cause that might get unstoppable in the future. All sorts of criminal acts, nationally and internationally. Also if somehow Bitcoin manage to be a mainstream currency then their proudly presented dollar wont have strong economic value so maybe they trying to stop Bitcoin's growth to avoid further damage.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: August 23, 2019, 10:19:07 PM
The vast majority of new crypto investors that I am aware of are anxious and restless these days. Gone are the days when early crypto investors  invest in coins and watch it develop over time, newbies and new investors are too in hurry to make money and many turned crypto investment into life jobs.
The benefits of an investment is called returns which takes years to accomplish so its never going to be easy for those looking for short term ROI and yet fundraising like IEO still brings short term profit for smart investors,i think almost all new crypto investors lacks patience

They are bunch of amateurs, what do you expect from people over the net who just been new to crypto. They have different kinds of views as of the old investors, espcially the ones who were just drag here with sweet coated words of the promoters of a project.
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you really think bitcoin will reach 100k $ in 2021 on: August 23, 2019, 09:46:57 PM
Move your topic here mate Speculation it's more appropriate at that sub.

But yeah probably.

Nice prediction almost right on prices from April to July, now what we are waiting is the October in witch very crucial.because just like what happen in fourth quarter of 2017 when the price starts to grow higher and the history recorded in 2017 December as we hit the highest price crypto ever had

In order for this to take effect atleast holders will keep theirs and investors must return back specially those where gone when the doom of market happen in 2018.

I will pin this post for sure I'm gonna buy more bitcoin if ever happens and reaches 16k USD on October, but for now I will just wait and read news about the trending stuff in crypto.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 23, 2019, 11:35:53 AM
Quit underestimating wallets and figure out how your wallets works either its ETH erc20 based wallets or multi walllets, you lose your private keys or recovery seeds you lose your coins and tokens,I was in a gathering on message when somebody posted his private key guaranteeing he didn't get an airdrop tokens,I wonder what may have transpired as of now,its like some still don't have the foggiest idea how genuine there wallets recovery seeds and private keys are, quit playing with wallet private keys and take them more serious like you doing with your bank account.

Maybe he completely surrenders and gives up his entire career as a bounty hunter, giving his private keys on the net sounds stupid. What on earth did happen out there, where did that happen? Did you perhaps see his pk and get a peek on hi account since you manage to get a message.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber Crimes and Crypto on: August 23, 2019, 12:00:11 AM
Cyber Criminals Netted $4.3B From Crypto-Related Crime in 2019

All these Criminal Acts is giving Crypto a bad name , i think there should be more measures and controls to be put in place in other to curb such occurence.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cyber-criminals-netted-43b-from-crypto-related-crime-in-2019-study

That's too much money, isn't there a team of anti cyber crime internationally? I hope it will be at the discussion table of the countries that are dragged in to this, this isa big matter not taken light of.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: August 22, 2019, 04:43:20 PM
It is very unpredictable, sometimes the least you expect from a campaign the better you get from them and sometimes the other way around. Well at first place we should know that already and must accept it that bounties are not all profitable every time. So now I don't really put much attention to bounties anymore, and just focus on something else that is worth my time.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: August 22, 2019, 03:41:42 PM
Is there any experts out there at comparing an analyzing written scripts of the people who already claimed that they were satoshi? Maybe this claims are made by a single group of companies? Paid their actors and then later on pull their names up leading to their own benefits and their respected companies. These people aren't just stopping from 1 person to another, it's like a disease that is spreading all over the net. I think later on more random guys will pop up claiming to be satoshi, and it could be you or me too.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 22, 2019, 03:06:16 PM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?

You don't need to trust any of the sites, you just have to post it here if you some experience being violated. If you have lost some Bitcoin or other crypto in your betting account then it should be reported immediately. Bonuses are one way to attract players especially for new sites launched, on't expect too much as it is a strategy, but you cannot blame them because they want you to play in them as long as it doesn't violate any rules then they should be fine.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: August 21, 2019, 09:39:04 PM
Ethereum, being the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has all the potential of replacing Bitcoin in the future. It's more than just a cryptocurrency, being a platform for the development and execution of smart contracts (aka dApps). With ETH, it's possible to launch alternative cryptocurrencies without the need to start a Blockchain from scratch. It's also possible to use the ETH blockchain for other purposes such as voting, proof of identity, verification of documents, and more. In contrast, Bitcoin's only use is for finance where it cannot be implemented in other areas by its own.

Given all of the benefits Ethereum provides on top of Bitcoin, it makes me wonder whenever it'll be able to replace the pioneer cryptocurrency within the future? As long as, Ethereum keeps progressing in development and mainstream acceptance, it'll be much closer to Bitcoin every step of the way. What are your thoughts? Huh

Everybody will be happy, especially those token developers whose tokens are based on ethereum, it would boost their number of investors and also increase the price o their token. I was wondering when I irst got here in crypto if this was possible but it is hardly to believe., the gap is just too big.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How people fund their Sportsbooks on: August 21, 2019, 04:15:59 PM
Hey guys.

Keen to get the thoughts of the community on the following and hopefully this may open an interesting discussion. I have many years of experience within the fiat gambling industry in terms of designing and managing sportsbooks but have little crypto experience. From what I can see there seems to be a split in terms of the type of operators in the market.

•   Traditional sportsbooks (usually BTC focused) that are predominantly self-funded or with private investment and offer customers the chance to bet with a wide range of the major cryptos available
•   Sportsbooks that launch their own ‘token’ which can be traded on an exchange, and used to raise initial funding for development/marketing/bankroll. I am guessing a lot of companies like to do this as their risk is limited and also gives a chance to get capital appreciation on the tokens also

Are there any legal implications for going down one route vs another (i.e. do Sportsbooks go down the token route because it enables them to trade in more jurisdictions given customers are betting with a ‘utility token’ versus a cryptocurrency coin?)

Which route do you prefer as an investor or customer?

You have a good idea on going down to utility token but the thing is most people came to a online casino to play direct and instant cash out payments and nothing like win and trade. They would be a trader if that's the case, and will some of their time and giving them another step to withdraw their winnings. Me of course see sports betting and do it as a source of fun and and extra income if had the luck, so I do prefer the traditional one as it is easy for me.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: August 21, 2019, 03:31:13 PM
I remember four years ago when a project was launched asking to get funded through ICO, the team were asking to get funded so they can create a movie about Bitcoin which will star prominent actors and actresses, but the project was a big failure because they cannot present their identity and their credentials in making a movie, they cannot even present their past movie projects.

Now it's 2019 and so many things happen in Cryptocurrency, the news is everywhere and it becomes very popular on four corners of the world.
Don't you think these big production company like Warner Bros, Universal and Netflix should do a movie about Bitcoin?

Not really a documentary, but any kind of genre, like action, horror, comedy I think if the story and the plot is good, it could make a box office
What do you think and who do you want to star if ever?

This could create massive publicity for Bitcoin.

I have encountered movies that are produced by big companies such as Warner Bros that they are showcasing Bitcoin mining and cryptocurrencies. It may be short but it does give a ring to people who already knows Bitcoin and the people who doesn't, for instance people that are unaware will search the words that was said "Bitcoin mining". It was a movie called GooseBumps 2. I also forgot the title of another movie who has shown that they are using Bitcoin as a payment transaction in order for them to hide their identities because they do illegal stuffs.
