am i the only one seeing the irony here ?

here's a coin whose sole goal was exclusion... exclusion of the pools, exclusion of the exchanges... pretty much total control of every aspect of mining and trading...

and now that some of the exchanges have decided to exclude this coin, suddenly there is bitching and moaning ?

irony Smiley)))))))

it's called decentralization. there arent supposed to be any middlemen. they are just here while crypto is building it's infrastructure. understand the true goal of crypto and its function.

i promised to stay out of it, so this will be my last hurrah - how can you consider something where the mining portion is controlled entirely by one entity to be decentralized... it literally is the polar opposite...

nope, you couldve done like me and throw your gpu on it and get a fair share. noone would get 10million coins while others only got 100. that is the idea and true meaning of fair distribution. not what you have been brainwashed into thinking it is.

edit: i will be buying asics in the future as the prices drop.. but i will be buying them to attach to multipools for my choice of pos coin. you see where this is going? asics will suck investment out of every non pos coin until they are dead. if u want these currencies to thrive it is time to start reinvesting and not just taking out.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2014, 12:01:37 AM

come on man do you really have to justify it?? its just greed. 50mh isnt enough for them you know?? they have to get 20 out of the 30 million coins or they fud the coin to death. well game's over. moves making to eradicate the need and take back the power of crypto and put it where it should be...

into the hands of the builders.. the investors.. the ones who want to see coins and crypto itself grow in value and not just selfishly ruin everything that others have worked so hard to build in a sea of scamcoins.

Im trying too knock some sense in him... lol... though it wont work... But I will defend a coin that I like...   Wink

and zhulick... lets just stop it for now... youve made your point... we made our point... lets just wait whos wrong or right in a month or so...   Wink

i managed to mine 3k minerals.. i want more.. i will buy them

this is the true hallmark and example a crypto enthusiast should set!

ok, i will take one last crack at it... i am sure it will be futile, but.....

1.minerals coin - if you have been successful at crypto, and reinvested your profits in hardware thus amassing what is considered a "farm", we do not want you... and if you choose to participate, you would have to be neutered to a portion of your speed...

everyone in the thread - hooray for fairness...

2.minerals coin - if you don't have the time to keep up with all the latest announcements, and mine in a multipool, we do no want you...

everyone in the thread - hooray for fairness...

3.minerals coin - if you spent years building up a user base, rolling out new features and building trust within the community to create a successful pool, we do not want you...

everyone in the thread - hooray for fairness...

4.bittrex - you know what guys, your rules excluded a huge swath of the community, and rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, so we do not want you...

everyone in the thread - this is so totally unfair...

am i the only one seeing irony here ?

answers....

1. Who says Minerals didnt welcome the big miners? they couldve mined with 50mhs too... A hash limitation isnt a gtfo message  Wink

2. Absolutely groundless statement... nothing too say

3. This coin had help from a "big" pool... check the OP... The reason for not allowing other poolowners too have the source, was too prevent this project from failing as well... it wouldve never worked like it did now...

4. again... a groundless statement... unless you can provide a quote of richie or ramie saying that Wink

you have 500 other coins to rape which you have raped together with the asics.. continue raping them. it is you and they that have destroyed them.. they are all yours.. this one coin.. this one fucking coin.. is for us gpu miners.

ONE FUCKING COIN!!!!

Great thoughts and insights Coinler. +1
How is Rofo doing btw ?

i believe he is fine.. and we will do fine. thanks for asking. hes a good man.. with a good team. and we will work and lift noblecoin as well. i have a really good nose for investment. all of the coins im invested in atm are trading at way above the level i bought in. and guess what.. they just happen to be coins that dont allow asics or have no more pools because they are POS! what could be better than mining a coin without asics.. i mean.. the proof is in the pudding and the history of crypto.

so because i see irony in this coin, i am now an asic rapist ?

jeez...

if you are jumping to the defense of asics and pool operators then YES!

gpu miners get nothing in crypto anymore.. its not like we can get 2 coins per day and each is worth say $5.. all the coins are worth garbage and a waste of investment to many. and you know what.. screw you guys.. im hitting the multipool and im going to work and help to develop this coin FOR FAIRNESS sake.

all those you are defending can play with any of 500 options and make a decent profit.. we make nothing mining these days. so dont lecture me or tell me anything about irony in your statements.. theyre just fucking biased

listen guys. i can be pretty warlike if pushed. im not saying bittrex or any other exchange is moving against us because we are going back to gpu minable coins. but you see this behaviour from the pools... here is what we must do and this must be their last chance.. if they continue to do this with future coins and slander it because they dont get a free piece of pie let me tell u guys. their days are limited. we will let everyone know that they are part of a cryptocoin mafia bent on controlling every single coin that is created in crypto. what this means is that basically.. all past coins and coins that cannot defend againt unfair distribution are and will be garbage until these guys are finished playing with them and sucking out all of newcomers investment in crypto.

this is why my coin solution was created. it eliminates the need for pools completely. and i was also the very first to mention in all of crypto the idea of a decentralized exchange. let us put it this way. exchanges may dominate us today.. but in the future all wallets will have decentralized exchange technology and that will be the end of that.

i suggest that minerals also seek get this feature working.. pronto. im just that good and can and have been predicting the future of crypto with perfect accuracy for months. i always can tell what is next.. and 5-10 moves down the line.

decentralized exchange was another feature of the coin i wish to develop. but there is more.. so much more. sigh.

i am supporting minerals so dont think it is just fud. i just want to develop a fair and strong currency. u should help me before the guy with power figures it out. and each day they get a little closer.

EDIT: on second thought.. considering that they have been doing this for so long.. we should start a campaign to educate the rest of crypto of their behaviour. take screenshots and let them be gone. i already have a solution that does not require pools and will allow cellphones to mine with even 100gh scrypt asics and still get a fair share.

It seems like the altcoin scene is heavily monopolized by big pools and some exchanges. I wonder if the rest of the community is aware of this.
Will probably make a bigger thread about this if Bittrex doesn't list it in the next few days.

I think what we're seeing here deserves a lot more attention. It's bigger than the coin itself at this point.

Are you talking about the exchange with 0.25% fees on each trade?  Grin

Your right there Starscream, the response to this coin has been something I didn't expect. Basically what the big players are saying is,

"We make lots of money from you, and unless you let us continue to monopolise this we wont let you make any money"

That's not what Bitcoin was about, and to quote "open source" and "decentralisation" as excuses is just criminal at this stage.

If anything it affirms what we already knew but have been powerless to prove.

What "they" have done is offered themselves up for the slaughter by showing how 'community' to them means nothing. Its beyond good business, its robbery, and they have shown their true colours -  and all it took was a little limitation on the hash rate per miner.

I would never have guessed in a million years that they were so vulnerable.

But rather than embrace it they have chosen to fight it, which is not a good move at all.

If they had supported legitimate developers from the start, then think where we could be now?

yeah we didnt create crypto to escape the banking cartels to come now and have to face cryptocartels. tell them to fuck right off and i hope many more coins come out like this.. especially pos coins abandoning asic minable algorithms. let them stop sucking out of crypto and reinvest.

im looking for investors for a very similar coin. please check out my thread. and if any of you would like to help or join the community that would be great. this one uses some advanced thinking to allow asics to mine with smaller hashrates yet still giving each solid value for the coin and not harm its exchange value even if large asic farms jump on board.

as i mentioned early in the thread we will see this coin enjoy some success. already we are seeing a community building around it to be larger than some asic minable coins. this provides evidence that the crypto community is made up largely of gpu miners with a few risk takers investing heavily.. and perhaps too heavily into asic machines, causing the asics to bring centralization to many coins due to how much they can get for next to nothing with their mining power.

it is quite hypocritical to state that this method creates centralization. quite the opposite is true. it is the most fair mining method as it gives more people the opportunity to obtain a share. this distribution is the true decentralization of crypto as it prevents any one person from owning the majority of stock without purchasing on the market giving them the ability to manipulate that entire market as they see fit.

we must convince bittrex and poloniex etc of this view. mintpal.. dont pay them.. when they see minerals success they will rush to add it some time in the middle of the week or on any given sunday... for free.

tip: the multipool is operational. you should set very high sell orders so that we can set the options for margin trading at a higher level. if you sell low you provide opportunity for someone to downtrade the margin heavily once the value rises. have some patience and let's work together as a community.. show those asic miners how it's done. 1000satoshi is too low. we should start on an absolute minimum of 10,000 satoshi. and even that, by the capabilities and intentions of this project by the dev is too low if you ask me.

i think everyone's getting fedup of the asics now. they really had no reason to sell down all the stock. think about if bitcoin had remained gpu minable and no asics were developed for it. the price would probably be $10,000 right now with only a couple new coins being made per day to meet growing demand. introduction of the asics literally slashed prices across the board as powerhouses cashed out impatiently disregarding the wellbeing of their peers as the paper put it. and in other cases raising the difficulty too high for gpus to gain a reasonable profit margin.

i believe the future of asics will serve a much better purpose in multipools generating investment into a currency and building it's value. but theyre no good when they supply way too much over the demand rate.

What they are against is the shift of power and profitability back to the humble miner.

Guess, devs are just busy right now.
They obviously invested/investing money in development of this project. Would be wierd if they'd just  go like "nnnah, fuck this shit, we're tired of coding and shit, we'll just let it die"

true.... but nothing been released after the wallet update.... ( i still dont got any stake yet...)

Im still waiting for the IOS wallet... wich was gonna be released soon (you said that 2 weeks ago raxe.io)

as it it is it seems the coins have to sit in the wallet for a bit over 7 days before stake begins.

now bitsta.. i agree with you. it is working ;p

ok i have the exploit. it is however not yet tested. but there is a significant possibility that it will work.

i specialize in research and information. i also sell information. if anyone's interested make me an offer and ill provide the info that i have. this particular exploit is for x11. whether the same will work with groestl algorithm will also need to be tested.

ok oh wow i just collected stake. i feel better nao.

Edit: yeah it's staking.. took forever though but now i can see a portion of my coins next to "stake:" in the wallet so it now seems to be working. time to get more distro.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlashCoin | X13 POW/POS | 12 Hours Mining | BITTREX on: June 16, 2014, 04:32:46 PM
How does a coin get straight on bittrex and have such a high hash rate ?

scam

my theory is this, there are a group of people that make coin, run pool and pay exchange to listen their shit asap, then they pump it to suck noob portfolio

same shit with burner coin, litecoinx ecc...

But honestly, you should be pretty stupid to buy this coin. I'm sure that they already dumped all their coins on the market, make huge money, and maybe they will pay out for IPO, but they sold everything at high prices, then they fakely buy some coins back to cover their IPO ass, and then say, look, it wasn't me....

Ah give me coins like Greekcoin, for example, great launch, IPO yes, but peole MAKE money out of it, not like MIL or so. And give me now the Ottoman IPO and i will make money again. Do background check of DEV!!!

you guys view this all wrong. ur not viewing from the prospect of investors but miners who want to extract btc. the community can take over the coin, pump it themselves to much higher levels with time if the dev bailed and increase the value of their currency. the community could hire a dev to repair any flaws found in the code etc. let's just say if i see this coin surpass 10,000 satoshi i would not be surprised. if it is a working currency and only 1 million coins, the prospect of pumping it to infinity is rather easy. get together, market it, arrange to have merchants accept it etc.. build your currency. or u can just be a leech.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlashCoin | X13 POW/POS | 12 Hours Mining | BITTREX on: June 16, 2014, 05:00:37 AM
well if the dev bails someone may find a use for 1million coins. this is crypto. open source currency is owned by the community lol. i was just speculating on this coin. havent bought any yet. but i think it has prospects.

"Good things come to those who work"

needless to say.. the price does not make me worried at all. it will rebound but even if it doesnt and goes lower for a while.. all i have to say is.. thanks.

"Good things come to those who work"

I stopped to follow noble price for a while, We got it - someone is manipulating the market price in order to do something.
It might be in order to lower the total network hash.
It might be in order to buy cheap coins.
It might be in order to fuck with noble.

We don't give a flying fuck, they won't be able to do it once the volume/price rises, and it won't take long before it happens.

lol the reason why i think volume is so slow at these levels is because many investors jumped on board upwards of 100 satoshi in the last super pump. so all or a great deal of the early mined coins are up on that level. these dumps so far fit within the range of current mined coins minus those that are holding possibly with a small amount of daytrading. we should only start to see resistance upwards of 40 satoshi. but this time, there'll be no new coins to dump.

P.S. - Happy Father's Day to the fathers around Wink
