I was finally glad to be rid of Haaland after the injury scare and wasted captaincy, just to find out I’m just being victim of Guardiola’s roulette and mind games yet again!
I learnt not to react too quickly whenever there is an injury scare for any of my players. I was not surprised to see Haaland play in their Champions league game yesterday and he even scored two goals that ensured that Manchester City qualify for the next round.

Manchester City's GW12 fixture is against Chelsea, and Chelsea have so far this season shown to play well against big teams, and Haaland on the other hand is not a very reliable player when Manchester City play big teams  although he scored against Manchester United. It is possible that Haaland blanks in the game against Chelsea if the Defenders can do a great job of cutting the supply away from him like Arsenal were able to successfully do.

In that Manchester City's visit to the bridge this coming GW, Cole Palmer will also be in focus.

Traders always loose money, not just crypto traders, but also forex traders. Loss of capital in trading is not peculiar to bitcoins alone.

However, my question here is ' what is the best strategy to trade without losing my initial capital ?.
To be a trader, you have be prepared and be ready for the losses. There is no sure strategy to ensure that you never loose, each strategy is to reduce losses to the barest minimum and also the frequency of losses, so you make more profit than losses.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and misinformation on: November 07, 2023, 09:32:33 PM
Bitcoin as the father of all cryptocurrency have hard it ups and down since it came into existence, but what I observe lately is the misinformation about Bitcoin that got me worried like in this time and age, people still take Bitcoin as a scam.
Your past is some people's present, so some people are currently as misinformed and have doubts like you were just some time ago. Some people are not lucky enough and the first people they come across are people who do give them the correct information concerning bitcoins and that is what they then carry along. Misinformation has made many people not want to hear about investment in bitcoins and the bad thing is only a few of the misinformed will get to find out later that they had the wrong information.

I put 10 stakes on Shakhtar to beat Barcelona, maybe this can put me back in contention for Pot B Cheesy
You are a F*cking genius! I am blown away by the level of confidence that would have required to put all 10 stakes on Shakhtar against Barcelona. Congratulations on the plenty points won. You are a real gambler.

My first pick did not go as expected, Newcastle should have won Dortmund, but they were looking worn out, ,maybe from the stress of playing Arsenal. Dortmund were looking sharper from kick off, and they deserved the win.
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Would you Like Your Pension Paid in Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2023, 03:33:54 PM
If I knew then, what I know now about bitcoin, I would have approached this company, and demand that they pay me my pension in bitcoin, or don't pay me pension at all, but pay me my salary in full, and from my salary, I will create a bitcoin pension for myself.
If you received the pension in bitcoins, it will be worth more by now. The Nigerian economy is in a terrible state, the value that N114,000naira would have had before in 2014, is not the same value now, It has greatly reduced.

It would have been difficult to convince the company you worked for to pay you the pension in bitcoins especially when they have no knowledge of it, but it was worth trying so you even could have had the option of full salary and no pension, and then would have had more to DCA with.

As an employee, the habit of investing a percent of your fiat income to purchasing bitcoins is very encouraged, so if your employers do not accept to pay you pension in bitcoins, you will not be so worried because you are already DCA-ing.

Sterling had another humiliating performance; despite being the most experienced player on the attacking line, he continues to waste possession and make poor passes in the final third of the pitch. I'm still surprised he didn't score a single goal.
Sterling could not find the goal, but no doubts about his influence in the game. Tottenham tried to keep a high line, but it did not work because of the likes of Sterling that has the pace to take advantage of long balls behind the Tottenham backline. He was just unfortunate not to score.

I'm sure Tottenham fans didn't go into the game with full confidence, knowing how bad ass we can be whenever we face them.
Chelsea had a good game against Arsenal, so I also expected a good performance against Tottenham too who are very good this season. After Tottenham's first goal I thought Chelsea will not be able to recover, but after the first red card and the goal, I knew that the advantage had been handed to Chelsea and they just need to win this game without any excuses.

49 points for me this GW, thanks to Palmer, Bruno Fernandes and Trippier. I expect a better result in the coming GW.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Plan to Make the Most of Your Bitcoin Investment Before the Halving? on: November 06, 2023, 05:47:38 PM
  • I turned my apartment into a shared one, meaning I got a flatmate and used the money paid to buy more Bitcoins.
I will find it hard to take this decision, I find it difficult to trust people I have just met, so it will be difficult to share an apartment with someone new.

  • No more buying new clothes, shoes, phones, or electronic devices. No more eating out. I'll cook all my meals. The money saved will be used to buy more Bitcoins.
This is a good move, but for things like electronics, you may never know or plan well enough because they may just develop a fault that will force you to use some money to make repairs. You may get mugged and need to buy a new phone, you never know.

  • This month, I'm selling off my car and I'll start using the train for commuting to work or any other essential place. Therefore, unless it is absolutely necessary, my social life is going to suffer for a little while. This delay of gratification is worth it.
I cannot consider this, because commuting is not so easy in my country, there are no trains and subways.

  • I didn't renew my gym membership. I purchased some dumbbells and barbells to start working out from home. The money supposed to be spent on the gym membership will be used to buy more Bitcoins.
Rather than not renewing your gym membership, find a cheaper gym. Working out at home and on your own can get boring and be unmotivating for you that have a fitness plan.

How do you plan to make the most of your Bitcoin investments before the halving in 6 months?
I plan to reduce the amount of money I give out to people unnecessarily, because I find it hard to say no to people who ask for financial assistance within what I can do. I have noticed that it is getting out of hand because the economy of our country has worsened so many more people are always asking for favors, I have to learn to say No to some of these people.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I did just to invest in Bitcoin. on: November 06, 2023, 12:39:44 PM
I sold our family land and used the money to invest on bitcoin. Initially I told them I want to sell the land and use the money to travel abroad. If I had told them I wanted to invest it in bitcoin they wouldn't have allowed me sell the land.
If I am a member of your family, I will also be very angry at you first because of the deceitful means you have used in making we the members of your family allow you sell the family land. And also because of that, Say I am a member of the family that has no knowledge of bitcoins, I will also find it difficult to see any investment in bitcoins you have made as true because you lied already in the first place. If I a member of your family who have knowledge of bitcoins, I will not give you commendations for your actions to invest in bitcoins.

Return back the money for the land back to your family immediately you are able to make profit from it.

^Why is everyone so hyped on Arsenal? They are actually quite bad this season if you compare their current data with last season data. Yeah, they had some nice results and got a lot of points so far but other then Saka I wouldn't really want any of their players for long time.
Saka was kept quiet today against Newcastle, and a game that should have ended with both teams having one point was destroyed again with another very wrong decision from VAR and the officials who allowed that Newcastle goal stand.

EVEN A CHILD CAN SEE THAT THE BALL WAS CLEARLY OUT OF PLAY!!!

Then how was Joelington's push on Gabriel not a foul?

These people are big cheats!!!

Still, not having Haaland makes me more and more nervous every round. Still time to go until the deadline - but I'm deciding whether to wildcard or not for 2 weeks already.
Manchester's City fixture for this weekend will be a home game, the type that there will be many goals scored and Haaland and Alvarez will score.

This GW for me with Liverpool playing Luton makes me hurt more too for not having Mo' Salah. Salah will score in this game, It has become a normal these days to score in almost every game for Liverpool.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting online courses? on: November 03, 2023, 05:20:03 PM
I came across something that suggests considering taking online courses on sports betting, aside from reading books that provide in-depth knowledge and strategies to improve betting skills. Is it true that such offers are available on the Internet?
I will take online classes for other things not for sports betting. The authors of these online courses sometimes make more money for the sales and entry fee for these courses than from sport betting itself. Spend more time understanding the sports you are betting on and you will greatly be increasing your chances to win at sports betting.

You can increase your understanding of the sports more by following up with it, and from doing your research.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No advertisement for btc on: November 03, 2023, 03:19:44 PM
I was just reading this post and thought crossed in my mind that there has been no advertisement for Bitcoin. It's all growth has been natural, it's quite surprising if you think about it.
There has not been any major advertisement for bitcoins, but individuals who have invested in bitcoins sometimes talk to other people concerning bitcoins and the benefits it has over fiat, and that is a form of advertisement.

Had there been a company or group that announced themselves as the founders and creators of bitcoins, they would have invested a lot in marketing the name bitcoin because they have some kind of benefit from it.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 03, 2023, 12:04:41 PM
It does not require any knowledge to own fiat, so it can easily be used to gamble by anyone who owns it. Due to this randomness, some of the people who gamble with fiat care less about privacy or how fair the gambling platform they play on is, but knowledge about cryptocurrency is required before you can gamble with crypto because you need to know where you can buy bitcoins, and how to move crypto from wallet to gambling platform, and then from gambling platform back to wallet if there is a win.

Things like privacy and safety have always been regular concerns for people that invest in cryptocurrency, so that awareness is extended to gambling with it.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to start betting on sports? on: November 03, 2023, 11:42:10 AM
Start by getting conversant with the sports you want to gamble on. Start watching games, listening to commentary, and also relating with people who have knowledge of the sport already will get you up to speed.

You can add extra by following sports podcast, watching and following news regarding the sports and doing your own personal research. With these few tips, you can become a successful sport bettor in no time.

If it is Health discussion that is related to bitcoins, then it can be discussed under bitcoin discussion, but if it health talk related to soceity, it can be discussed under Politic and society, if it is strictly health related, Serious discussions and the off-topic board exist for this kind of discussions already. There is no need creating a separate board for it, spammers will only take advantage more of it to make silly low quality comments and create unnecessary topics.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help? on: November 02, 2023, 02:42:57 PM
The rate of poverty across the globe is becoming worrisome. Many people are continually crossing below the poverty line to the state of depression. I was heartbroken seeing the number of people struggling to enter the US as  shared by Elon Musk in X. Weather we choose to believe it or not, there is an impending global problem that if concerted effort is not put at addressing, there will be chaos. Is there anyway Bitcoin can assist in addressing this?
Bitcoin can help some people who want the help and who are able to against all odds still invest enough in bitcoins to get enough profit from it that can change their level in life, but Bitcoin is not a general remedy for poverty because there are many reasons why people are poor. Some people are poor from the choices that they have made aside the harsh economic condition, if this people still invest and continue to make poor economic choices, their investment in bitcoins no matter how big will not be able to help them from poverty.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany DFB Cup 2023/2024 - Discussion and Prediction on: November 02, 2023, 12:54:23 PM
Wow. What a surprise and what joy in Saarbrücken. Bayern Munich is knocked out in the second round. Goal from Saarbrücken in injury time. The DFB Cup is always good for surprises and proved it yesterday
Just as some other top teams in the Carabao cup like Arsenal and Manchester United were knocked out, Bayern suffered the same fate in the DFB-Pokal. They lost to me because they never expected it and most likely have underestimated FC SAARBRUCKEN. There was no Harry Kane in the team, maybe if he was in they would not have scored only one goal all through the game. Bayern have been knocked out from the competition a lot, with them now having one less competition to play, they should be able to focus more on defending the Bundesliga and winning the Champions league.

839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 11:36:19 AM
The strategy of funding accounts on multiple bookmakers is known to be used by people that want to catch the best odds when betting on sports for example. Sometimes people will monitor multiple platforms and bet when the odds allow then for a safe win. However, I am not sure if this strategy would be worth attempting when doing crypto-based betting on the sports books that offer it.
It can be a good strategy to make the most from when gambling as you will be able to maximize your winnings whenever you win, but it is dangerous because this practice can be a steep road to gambling addiction because of your membership in different gambling platforms.

Find a gambling platform or two that generally offer good odds and stick to them instead of always following odds to different gambling platforms and for each game comparing which of the gambling platforms that you are a member of that are offering the better odd for the game you want to gamble on.

Allowing odds to be the criteria that can make you gamble on a platform can also be risky, because dubious gambling platforms will always make their odds attractive to attract gamblers who follow odds around.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Health Benefits of Gambling on: November 01, 2023, 05:25:37 PM
~
From the second health benefit of gambling, the major stress that more than half of the world's population currently faces is economic and financial stress. Gambling as an activity if not checked can result to more financial stress on a gambler who cannot control their urge to gamble after a while.

As a stress reliever, reliance should not just on gambling so you do not get addicted. Try out other activities, so you can always have choices to select from whenever you feel stressed and feel the need to engage in a stress relieving activity.
