So your'e saying that if i keep my coins back'd up in a wallet i cant get hack'd ?
Having a back-up do only give the access in your wallet when you do need. Like private keys or wallet.dat file. You can import it anytime if you do have these things on a certain wallet and you can access it once again this is why we should not easily give these keys or letting show on public. On the link above its just a basic stealing or hacking of your coins on an exchange wallet. This is why when we are using web wallets we should always set 2fa and dont store huge amounts on those kind of wallets.

That is pretty sure the right thing to do when you are using a web wallet because it is link in the internet and hackers can surely manipulate it, bitcoin is surely secure but with the skills and level of knowledge this kind of people have they can surely manipulate anything in the world wide web and the only secure option you can do is with the private wallet with your own private key.
Private keys should really be kept on a private place on where no one anyone knows about that.If using web wallet then always put up 2fa identification because having this hackers wont really easily bruteforce it no matter what. Skill of them might be good but they have their own limit regarding on their capabilities and we should really think off that always. There are lots of safety measures for us to avoid such loss of our precious bitcoin.

8323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need your advice, please on: August 30, 2017, 12:12:29 PM
Hello,

I want to make a new portofolio. I have 10k EUR and I don't know what crypto to get in my portofolio. I want only altcoins, but I want a rise with minimum 2x until December.
What do you think?

Thanks,
Adrian
If you do like to invest on altcoin world then search up for potential good project which is on ICO state as of now. Do your own research and dont rush up on putting your money because there are lots of ICO as of now which is just useless or dont have potential at all but finding them wont really be an easy task. 2x is possible and even more if you hit the right project if not then expect those 10k of yours would lose some percentage.
8324  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: August 30, 2017, 07:14:20 AM
There are a lot of things to consider, you should consider the cost of operation, the profitability, the
evergreeness of the business(ability to generate money in all kinds of situation) and also you should consider marketing as this goes a long way
Yes, these are few of the things that one should consider before starting any business. You need to even consider your target audience and understand their psyche. You should know what your customers need and what other competitive brands are providing to them. Besides you should have good analysis of the market.
It's hard to start a business especially if it's not our forte, sometimes having knowledge is not enough, or having money only is not enough too. We both need it with proper analysis, weighing the circumstances and the possibilities. Having business is like having an ICO too. We need to convince people to trust us so we should do great work with passion.
You are right, those things wont really be enough specially if we dont really have the passion on this kind of venture but theres still possibility that you would still able cope up with that gap and might able to ride well along the way. Building business or starting it wont really be an easy thing since there are lots of things to consider first even if you do have the money and the knowledge it wont really be sufficient enough but somehow an advantage compared to those people who really start on 0 knowledge.
8325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: August 29, 2017, 01:37:01 PM
Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

What do you think?  Please provide your reason(s) to support your view.
Its really possible since theres nothing on this world that cant be replaced and theres no permanent spot. Anytime it can really be replaced by anything which is more better and more updated than bitcoin but for now i see that it would be takes years for bitcoin to be replaced on its spot considering that its the father of all cryptos. Kicking it to its place would be somehow a tough job for alts and surely would takes time.
8326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats going on with NEO?? on: August 29, 2017, 12:16:28 PM
Any idea why neo just went down so much? Been on the decrease but this dip is just insane
Its just simple and theres nothing to be surprised off and i do really expect this thing to happen on NEO sooner. If theres a pump then next there would really be a dump since whales or investors do really have profit taking boundary together with the issues which posted above on which China do make a prohibitions or strict on ICO which seems do really make an effect.
8327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: August 29, 2017, 10:52:39 AM
In a game of chance, you can never play with other people's money, because it's very risky and if you lose, you still have to return the money. It is better to play on a demo account.

It is tremendously danger to gamble with other people's money, if you lost the money you need to return the money immediately which you dont have, and for huge amount, it can lead to a criminal thing, if you dont have the money it is better for you to not gambling, only gamble what you can afford to lose
I wouldn't do that because it's too risky, I think some are doing it because they are desperate enough to win back their loses and they do not think of the risk of losing anymore. As much as possible I don't want to be in that situation where I need to spend other person's money just to gamble.
When we lose then just simply stop, that will make you a real man since you know how to accept defeat in gambling.

Its really hard to get out on that kind of situation. Been there though, but I was able to return the money and I don't what that feeling again. That's why I stop borrowing someone else money just for the sake of gambling. Situations like this put someone life as risk, what if you person insisted that you pay him in time and you don't have money? What do you think will happen to you?

I advise everyone not to do this because I have side, its not really a good experience for me and I would risk everything now. That's why I have controlled my gambling now and don't play as much as I want to. No borrowed money for me just to play.
I do feel or experience the same thing you do mention here on which i did try to borrow others money just to play gambling and the pressure within you is really strong since you do know and you do mind that its not your money and you should pay the debts later on this is why you would really be desperate on winning. Luckily i have won and did able to repay it in no time but that would be the last and wont plan to do it again.
8328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price by December? on: August 28, 2017, 12:10:27 PM
By watching the past rallies and the price corrections, I believe about $10k seems a realistic figure right now, but as the crypto sphere is pretty unpredictable so anything can happen. But it will be fun to watch what happens.
Bitcoin doesnt really stop to amaze us everytime specially when it reaches a new ATH unexpectedly which i do really love to see on upcoming years or months on bitcoin.$10k is realistic but we should think first or base on lower amounts for this year and i would be satisfied even bitcoin price hits up on 5k price point and the higher the better.
8329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: August 28, 2017, 10:42:57 AM
Right now I have not thought about selling some of the coins I have,
maybe later if I have a really urgent need I will sell some of the coins.
because in my opinion there is still a chance for the possibility of increasing the price towards the end of this year.
Hodling is good and we should really sell our coins if it did reach above ICO price because most likely those holders of those coins would really sell off on those price point and then buyback again when the price is cheap again. Deciding on when to sell is quiet hard since we would really like for the price to increase even more later on to make more profits but there are instances on which we do really need money and we would really need to withdraw those earnings.
8330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for August on: August 28, 2017, 10:08:16 AM
Please name 1 ICO to buy in August that can be a gem later?
Gem later? Then Go for Bowhead ICO. You can see it here https://tokens.bowheadhealth.com/  . I do really believe on its potential since its focusing mainly on health which we cant see on other previous ICO or projects. We do know that health is important and this kind of innovation would really make impact later on.

Bowhead ICO is one of the few I am investing. I do trust their project and the team behind. For this August, I also appreciated Opus. Their ICO was finished last 24th of August. I am also eyeing Easymine and Gravio ICOs. I hope I am right in my decisions.
You are not wrong on investing on bowhead ICO. Yes they do really have a good project and a good dev team with actual product. Same as yours im keeping an eye on easymine too because i do able to see that those projects would really have the potential to be used later on by most people and hoping would really make the good decision so that we can able to make profits.
8331  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will you do? on: August 27, 2017, 08:07:55 AM
hi, what will you do? If the bitcoin price is suddenly cheap
Normal thing i would really buy lots of it but on the amount that i can afford to lose up not just carelessly putting all your money on that situation because we wont know if bitcoin will pump up again or not because if prices do become cheap on a certain coin then i would say the popularity had decreased and the interest isnt there already and im sure people do jump on another coins in this case.

Is it something like a Patientory? Blockhain  in health care? Or something else, can you tell?
Go in here: http://bowheadhealth.com/ you would able to see regarding on its roadmap and at the same time you would able to download their whitepaper too which do explains all about the project and im sure you would really see its real life usage this is why i do recommend this project.
8333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner trader on: August 24, 2017, 11:15:26 AM
So the best advice that I can give to you right now is not to trade. The markets are wild these days and you can get rekt if you make 1 bad decision. The best thing yo u can do getting started is just to do research, buy and hold. Holding on to investments can be a lot more profitable down the road. The best thing is to just forget about it and harvest profits later.
Its not actually a wise recommendation but somehow do have a caution since you are right market nowadays is wild but i can say that its wild since on its first days knowing all coins are volatile and if someone decided to engage on trading on the very first time then it isnt bad since he can anytime to make trades on demo without risking money which is really a good way to train yourself along with self learnings because all of informations are all in the internet actually.
8334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What services you wanna see with Bitcoin ? on: August 24, 2017, 10:28:22 AM
Movies ? gambling sites ? exchanges ? what kind of service you want to see involved with Bitcoin more ?
Services? Then i would like to see that bitcoin would be used on Taxi or any transport means since im an active commuter and at the same time i do love to see that there are lots of merchants specially on food category would accept bitcoin as a payment for their service here on my place that would really be great but speaking on online services i would say that ive seen enough on the current state.

8336  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc or Bcc on: August 23, 2017, 11:16:59 AM
I have been following the trend of augment between the support of bitcoin core and bitcoin cash about the one that conform to the idea of the founding father of bitcoin! That is a cryptocurrency that is decentralised, low fee, fast in transferring and use as money and stored of values. In your own opinions which one among the two conform to the ideas of satoshi?
Theres no doubt. I would definitely go for Bitcoin itself knowing its the original one even though BCC is still bitcoin but i do still consider it as an another altcoin in the market. The original would still remain original and no one can replace it no matter how Bcc would progress later on.Maybe theres other benefit from bcc which you can able to make money with it either on mining or doing short trades.
8337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: August 22, 2017, 11:13:41 AM
Bitcoin is the main Crypto-Currency, the best one. Some people like to invest in ETH or diversify funds among different currencies, but I personally would prefer for now to put all my tickets in BTC. The price will probably increase a lot in few months (who knows, maybe 50%-100%), I'm not sure if ETH has the same potential... I don't think so.

1 BTC worth much more than 10 or even 100 ETH.  Cheesy

Especially because you want to put it into a cold wallet for at least 5 years, BTC potential is huge on long term.

What a wrong comment. You say you're not sure if ETH has the potential. How about the price rally that ETH made between $15 and $250 within only couple of weeks. ETH has more potential than bitcoin. For the question, ETH can't pass 1:7 ratio with bitcoin. This means 7 ETH can be equal to 1 bitcoin, but no more. This is my personal calculation. Now 12-13 ETH is 1 BTC.

I think ethereum already used its potential this year and it is valued now. Maybe not over valued but nobody can say that ethereum price is cheap now. Same story for bitcoin. The price raised so much this year... a hard decision
It would really be a hard decision on choosing since no one would ever know on the potential increase later on but comparing them on possible movements and possible income on their slightest movement I would really go for ETH since it do have smaller value than bitcoin and a slight movement will really make some good impact on your holding considering on the volume.
8338  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will you do? on: August 21, 2017, 12:37:29 PM
hi, what will you do? If the bitcoin price is suddenly cheap
If it would dump to the lowest possible price like $1 then i would definitely buy $1000 usd worth of bitcoin even thouhg its risky but i would really be ready on the risk because if bitcoins price would come to point on which it crashes already im sure there would be new crypto currency which have already replaced to its position and im sure some of people would really have a doubt or trust issues already into bitcoin.
8339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO GOING TO THE MOON on: August 21, 2017, 11:03:10 AM
I've looked on the charts on coinmarketcap as I usually do, everything seemed to be as it always is and then something extraordinary caught my sight: monero is not worth $90 and went 75% up through the day. Usually only shitty coins have these price pumps. What's happening? I know it's a good coin, I was even thinking about buying some. Why is the price suddenly so high? Any major improvements done? Is it really because of rumours (https://cointelegraph.com/news/monero-price-jumps-over-40-percent-on-rumors-it-will-soon-debut-on-bithumb-exchange)?
We did already missed the opportunity on buying cheaper monero going back on the previous days and now im regretting again and again. Dont know actually the latest news or rumors and on the link you have given i think it do really have a relation on its price movement. If we did bought earlier we would made almost 100% profits and thats really a serious bunch amount of profits on our portfolio.
8340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's The Minimum Investment? on: August 21, 2017, 09:46:15 AM
If you're looking to make any sort of profit from cryptocurrency and you're just starting out, what do you think is the minimum starting investment you ought to put into it?

Yes, I know "you should only put in what you're willing to lose" but surely there should be a barest minimum, right?

EDIT: If you don't mind sharing, how much did you start with?

I started with 0, built my portfolio from small tasks and giveaways, signature campaigns and so on.

There are many opportunities to make money in this new economy, you just need to work a bit and then be very smart where you invest your hard earned coins.
When i do start to decide to jump in trading i did really start on having a 0 capital on doing trading which most of the coins i did earn is from bounty campaigns which i do make tradings on them and make them roll for a matter of time and do decide to sell later on for bitcoin and then buy another coin which do have potential then i do these steps all over again and again until i reach decent profits.
