Yesterday, i loaded my plastic card with 200€. Then 20 minutes later when i was purchasing an item online and paying with this card the payment has been refused. I contacted them, they replied about the 500€ limit and that i need verification. But look. I never used the card, once loaded 14€ and yesterday 200€, for me 200+14=214 and 214 is less than 500, right ? So ok for a verification, the problem is: the date on my ID card is expired, but the card is still legitime and valid up to 2019. So the verification has been denied and the 214€ locked in the card and unusable. I can not even get a new ID card because as my card is still valid, and i can't get another ID card as long the previous is valid.. it is simply refused.
I am going to try to resolve this to get my money back but after this never Advcash again, I am done with this site

Yes when you take the opportunity of different price from place A to place B it is called arbitage (arbitage market, arbitage volatility)
And yes you can do this, in fact many people do it and not only with cryptocurrencies. But as mentionned before, be sure to include the fees and limits in your calculations

I saw a news yesterday about Monaco and visited the site. I agree with some users, it seems suspicious. Not a lot of informations available on their website, specially about hte VISA card. I saw they promise a 10% cashback on the purchase you make using their card. No way, you will find any real cashback sites or card provider giving back such a high percentage. Its usually about 2% but 10% ? I just closed the windows

I am a recent user of Cryptopia and everything is fine. I can use my BTC as well other crypto without problem. I think the OP is in hurry but forgot to tell us the real problem is his transaction is still unconfirmed LOL. It doesn't mean in any case this exchange is a scam. And about their support: I had a little problem while creating my account, contacting them over Twitter, it got resolved without 1 hour... I didn't excepted to get a help so fast

It is just a small correction. The exchange rates have increased by around 150% during the past 2 months (500% during the last 12 months), and therefore I believe that a correction of upto 30% may be possible in the near future. A lot will depend upon the luck.... If you could sell your coins before the correction, then you can increase your holdings of Bitcoin.
I was also excepting a correction, but didn't excepted a big one as 600$. I have been very surprised how fast the price failed so fast within 1 hour. A 200$ correction, ok but OMG 500-600$. Right now at 2500$, I except another correction but not below 2200$. I am waiting Monday and the next week to see how it goes I also believe it's the last moment to buy your Bitcoins rigth now |

Maintenance is just a normal thing most especially for a busy site like Coinbase. However, there seems to be some complaints against the site lately that can put some negative vibes on them. Their current spat with IRS must be having some effect on them as users are getting to be cautious.
It is not acceptable. A site like Coinbase, holding millions dollars from customers, funded with millions dollars, still can't even get a decent team to handle such things ? Oh but wait, it's not the first time Coinbase goes offline at the exact same time something big is happening to the bitcoin price0 What about people who wanted to sell when the price was about 2800$. Now at 2400$ it is 400$ difference, and I doubt they plan to compensate the difference Last update from CoinbaseSupport on Twitter is more than 24 hours ago ! How it's possible ? Twitter is in maintenance too ? With such problem you have to update your customers more than every 24 hours, specially in such activities where money is related |

Exchanges manipulating the market with pump-dump was never something new on bitcoin scene, people should continue to hold and not panic sell, that what would kill the price in a matter of hours. We are doing great, we should continue to increase with stability If we want bitcoin to be mentioned in the news in the next few weeks, that should bring more attention and eventually more demand and even a higher price.
Exactly ! Look right now Coinbase. Coinbase is currently down for maintenance. And it's happen often, if not each time, there is a big change in the Bitcoin price. But wait, it's not the only one. Another exemple, Kraken. Kraken right now is so slow, I get the cloudfare page every 5 minutes. We will get a solution for sure, the problem is WHEN? Because if we need to wait like 5 years to get the things solved, bitcoin will fade with time, loosing people interest, ect and develop a higher criticism about bitcoin as well.

Good to hear news like this one. But are you really sure they are not going to tax bitcoin? It's surprising from a government. If it's true more companies will strart to implement bitcoin just to avoid paying taxs to their government. It may help the small or medium companies at the end

Thats because an ICO these days are a good speculative investment. The returns are usually 100% or more. I havent seen an ICO token that didnt sell in an exchange without any profit. We should better make money because the market will not be always in the same sentiment.
No, the return is not always 100% or more once you have invested in ICO. There are some new projects which the price of ICO still same or lower than their ICO price. The recent example is HMQ (Humaniq) coin, their ICO price was around 4k sats (some people said 5k sats, but whatever), Now, as you can see on Bittrex, their price fir each HMQ coin is around 3,5k sats which lower than their ICO price. its happen for all ICO like ICONOMI last year the ICO price was around 0.00021 BTC but after a few days in the exchanger the price was decreased almost 0.00013 and after that a few months again their price increased almost 4x i hope the price of this coin will increase 10x in the 1 month after added into the exchange While i agree that not all project had there price increase after ico also not all of them have price decrease after ico it is totally depends on the project and how good it is . Also the main factor to determine if the price gonna increase or decrease is the bounty and giveaway that handed during ico the more bounty and more giveaway = more dump or less increase *2 instead *3 or 4 it is because most people taking this bounty or giveaway is taking it to sell ( less interest on holding the token they have ) . We not have this factor in this project no giveaway and no bounties which is amazing the only people have this token is the people interest in it and prob plan to hold on it for sometime so i see a good increase once ico ends and this token hit an exchange . Now thinking about it twice I agree with you, it makes sense. While usually people sell their bounty in hurry it means more dump in the earlier days, but it's not the case for project like QUANTUM. I wonder if they are going with some PR after this |

It's a long time now Kraken is overloaded with support tickets. They really need to hire more workers or the huge amount of tickets will lead Kraken having the same shit support than coinbase. They surely have better priorities but support can not avoided at any cost. It make me hope i will never need any support in kraken
