841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer? on: October 28, 2016, 12:18:42 AM
My favourite thing is sports betting. I don't like play various casino games, because if I would play it, I would loose lot of money. Only sometimes I playing dice, but only for fun and with small amount of money.
That's a good choice if you are looking for money because you can improve your skills along the way if you will learn. But to have more fun you can consider a lot of games like roulette, poker, and dice which is the most popular game right now IMO.

Actually you can play in different gambling sites especially in satoshigames.io.. Grin
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao Vs Vargas on: October 28, 2016, 12:06:19 AM
Odds with this fight is 6.21 for Jessie Vargas while 1.09 for Manny Pacquiao
With odds like these there is high potential of fight being fixed. I am not saying that it is. It is my pure speculation, but we have seen something similar in the past.
I am talking about about Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight. There are many theories suggesting that fight was fixed.

Reference: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/05/conspiracy-theorists-think-they-can-prove-the-mayweather-pacquiao-fight-was-fixed
It's hard to fixed fight in sports unless boxers connive with each other. It's not like a basketball that fouls can be called out of nowhere but in boxing there's a high chance that a player can be knock out and referees cannot do something about it.

You can't declare a knock out player a winner (that's my theory)
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao Vs Vargas on: October 27, 2016, 12:17:00 PM
I have not seen any available odds for this one, can you give me at least one site with better odds for Pacquiao Vs Vargas game?

This should be fun, and the only way that will make Pacquiao retire for good is when he will lose in this game.. Good game to watch but I wonder who is the favorites here?

Is is pacman again?

Edit: Just saw the odds (pacman is the favorites)
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer? on: October 27, 2016, 12:13:14 PM
i am prefer to play slot machines when i am playing gambling but sometimes i playing dice and i think i begin to like to play dice because i can get free bitcoin to use to play. its really fun for me when i can see the number its up or down and no matter what is going on, i only use automatic betting.
Honestly those games for me are boring game.. unlike poker that gives me challenge it gives me more trill to play with skill base game.. the other games like blackjack is one of the good game also for me.. is just like lucky 9 here in my country but i don't see any gambling casino that has lucky 9 game blackjack has human cards unlike lucky 9 that has only 9 almost human cards are removed.

I play dice when I'm bored but not with so much time spent because I know I will lose big when I start to heat. There are games available to play online so that's fun. However, in sports, it's something I cannot skip putting a bet everyday when games are available.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: October 27, 2016, 12:08:47 PM
Profit. Profit. Profit. That was my previous motive. However, it turned out to turn me into a gambling monster. I gambled from 0.008 to 1.5 BTC. I berate every time I look at my loss. Although my friend urged me to withdraw, I did not listen and I lost all of it.
At that time it was worth around $1100 US. Sad However, I stopped gambling for good after that.
We learned from our experience and that's a big move for us to enjoy gambling and definitely we will be able to enjoy gambling more as a person who was once addicted and successfully change cannot be addicted anymore.

Good thing for you as you have matured as a gambler and forget your loses for good.
I wish everyone can do that so they will not lose big amount of money that they will regret for the rest of their lives, really hard to control ourselves in gambling if we are putting a bigger amount and when we think that we might win we are willing to take chances, most of the time the outcome does not favor us.
well , suggestion to anyone will not change the gambler .
because gambler is gambler whether he is gambling btc for fun or profit .
it always results into the loss ( maximum times ) .
so everyone making gambling to recover his loss by gambling again .
only some rich people are playing game of gambling for joy , rest of only for Profit

So basically you are saying that recovering our loses in gambling is not a good thing?

My answer is, it depends on your goal. If you are just playing for fun then you have to let your of your loses, but if you are playing for money, you treat gambling as your business and your goal is to recover and bring yourself to the profitable side.

You are correct. If you really want to earn good at gambling, you need to treat it as a business or better be a professional gambler. However, while it is true that you can easily get back your losses, it is also true that it will be easy as well that all of your bankroll will keep losing. Fact is, you are fighting against a casino that have house edge advantage.
Not all games has its house edge so you have a chance to choose what game you want to try. If you sports, there's sports betting but if you love cards, a poker or any skilled base games is a good game to play..

But sometimes we want to have fun and try our lucky then dice games would also be there for us.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: October 27, 2016, 12:02:56 PM
I'm good as i can save some bucks to buy when i crave for food that i want. I can also save money for long term to buy a new gadget for myself. It's really hard to manage money because you have many things first to manage your money wisely.
You are still on your adulthood stage as most of your concern are just wants. Me, as a mature person with a big family, I already think of the future investment that's why I have to manage my money very well, I know that in order to survive I need to spend for our daily expense but proper budgeting will help to let you save money for the future.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 27, 2016, 11:50:50 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Matter of opinion how much to do.  I would try to save at least some of it, so you'll always have that to fall back on.
If you have the opportunity to do both the better, your savings will take care of your future needs while your investment will give your a comfortable life. Think of that possible good outcome so you will be inspired to do what is important.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 27, 2016, 11:47:28 AM
Bitcoin is an international currency now itself.Large companies have started accepting Bitcoins as payment. The only drawback is confirmation time is too long. For Bitcoin to be used internationally, It has to be solved.
Don't worry because it does not happen all the time, and I am sure when a business operates they know already all the possible problem and I think that is not a big problem to consider as like I have mentioned it is not all the time.

The most important thing we need to thank is that different industries are adopting bitcoin and that will attract more customers and clients.
849  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: October 27, 2016, 07:52:28 AM
Most of the common reasons for using bitcoin instead of cash have been enumerated here....But, what about those type of transactions that cannot be conducted with cash?  I use bitcoin mostly for those type of transactions where it is inefficient to use cash....either because it's too dangerous to carry the quantity of cash required or the transaction is conducted remotely via the web. Bitcoin is especially suited for micro-transactions and playing poker in jurisdictions where the banking industries are forbidden to participate.
There's certainly more transactions that we cannot do without cash as this world majority of the people are using paper money or cash, we have to have both if we have to live normal in this world.. There are things that bitcoin are good like gambling and investing or trading.. But most of our expenses that we need to pay for our daily living requires us to use cash.
850  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: October 27, 2016, 07:47:16 AM
Yes you should believe in the bitcoin because it has a great fiuture and it will grow a lot more so its just a matter of time before the bitcoin will become very popular!

This why many people are starting to use bitcoin for we believe that we are going to have a great future with bitcoin. And for those unemployed people instead of looking a real job. They are just working with bitcoins by different ways like trading, gambling and as well as selling their services to the people who needs it.
I think you need to prove something before you believes that bitcoin is not just a momentary phenomenon but bitcoin will continue to survive and have a bright future. perhaps like seeing growth of bitcoin and others? if it gives good results you can continue to trust and use bitcoin Cheesy

For a long term investor like me, I would not believe in such statement as I want bitcoin to last while I am alive. The benefits of investing that I am getting is very extra ordinary, and in my life only when I started to invest in bitcoin I have been profitable and it gives me a decent income...

So you can expect I will fight for my goal.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: October 27, 2016, 07:43:05 AM
Here is a simple tip. If I go to the racing track (online) and bet on a horse, I do a little investigating first. In a race of 8 horses, I place my bet on the horse that has at least 1-2 weeks rest prior the race. Betting on  horse that has a recent race (tired horse) or a horse with longer than two weeks rest (relaxed horse) will not win you anything. It’s just a matter of observation, especially on physical sports. But if you’re betting on like, baseball, it’s purely a matter of statistics.

This is a good tips.  Now I know why favorite horses sometimes lost to the less favorite one.  It is because of the condition of the horse.  Now I got the logic behind the win of the horse in perfect condition.  Not too tired or too relax.  Thanks for the tip, Ill try to follow this and bet on the horse that is neither too relax or too tired.
well all these stretagy works if you have most good luck but in my opinion all tge stretagy are useless for gambling if we don't know about house of the gambling site and even we continue our bet after a particular Profit .
It's not conditional, if your strategy is good it will really work regardless if you are lucky or not.. As a gamble who wants to make a smart move in gambling, we should develop a method that will be useful in the  long run, and if we can do that we will be having a success with our gambling journey.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: October 27, 2016, 07:36:03 AM
I think the easiest way to make profit from gambling is the same easiest way to lose your bankroll in gambling.  We all know that when playing gambling there is always 3 result .  Win, Draw and lose, but the problem with online betting, even if it is a draw it is a lost to the player.  So the easiest way is to put all your bankroll in one betting.  If you win you doubled your money in just a matter of second.
It's easy because it is fast but it is hard because it's risky.

When gambling we do not just seek for the money as we also want to be entertain as well, and I assume you are talking about sports betting as no draw in dice..

All in is just a decision of the high risk taker gamblers and there's no happiness on that though you succeed.
853  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: October 27, 2016, 07:31:27 AM
The best investment strategy is to look for an investment that does not offer big return in a short time, that would only mean that you just have to invest in a legitimate investment like investment that is already existing for a longer period of time as that business is stable and it would be less risky if you will invest with them.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 27, 2016, 07:14:13 AM
Invest.

there is no assurance in gambling. win or lose. no middle ground. if you win, congrats. if you lose, well then.

investing is a far more safer ground to use your money. the process can be slow but you can gain financial returns for your trouble. and you can consider it a business, a steady flow of money, big or small, you're gaining something from it. you can even plan strategies for your investments so you can know where you will profit the most. gambling cannot give this assurance.investing is something stable, based on a system, a research, based on skill and smart thinking while gambling is mostly based on chance and luck. even if you're a skilled gambler you cannot control luck.
It's everyone aim to make money hence we gamble or invest but it is just right to go for investment as our chance there is bigger compared to gambling. You can earn fast money in gambling but only under the situation that you are lucky, if you are not, you lose..

Investment is only the legitimate way to make money.
855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum Amount To Start Trading? on: October 27, 2016, 07:09:36 AM
If I were you and willing to do some trading on Bitcoin's price, I'd better head to some automated platform that allows me to open and close an order in a few seconds.

Well the question is how much you are going to start trading with those automated platforms. I think 0.01 BTC i already enough to start minimum trading. And that is going to depend on how you are going to make your capital grow with the potential alt coins that you are going to buy, just make sure you know how to trade.
That's enough and that is already a decent amount of money to start for you journey in trading, and that is just advisable for every trader who are starting up because when you are new you cannot guarantee to make profit all the time, you are bound to lose at first but with small amount you can bear the loses.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 27, 2016, 05:16:36 AM

Correct, trading is  a risky investment  if you are  not  knowledgeable to it  but you could always lessen the  risk  if you  properly  studied on it and  know the   fundamentals of it.  In the case of OP trading is not  actually  made for him because  it seems  that hes not profitable with it.

And I agree too, in trading you will lose on others coin but you may also gain on others. But,what I like is that you can minimized your looses if you are well informed and vigilant whats happening. For long term trading you must be very patient, where some are not used to it.

the majority of the people here don't have the patience to hold their coins for the long term. these people expect a certain amount of profits every one or two weeks. just look at how many people complain when the price keeps calm for a week or so. they directly shift their focus to other investment options.

That is right. That is the reason why most people are not rich. If you hold the bitcoin since 2010, you will be very rich.

i think i can not hold it since 2010 because i am always to get tempted when i saw the price going to increase and sell it some amount of my bitcoin. and yes, many people can not comfort to hold the coins while the price is going deep down, but there are people which still buy no matter the price is down and they just waited for next increase price.
Our needs in life will sometimes temp us to sell, actually the price now as you can see is great for bitcoin since it is increasing and I was just tempted to sell some of my holdings because also want to enjoy the profit of my investment, I need that money to celebrate with my family this weekend, but at least I have a purpose.
857  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: October 27, 2016, 05:12:06 AM
Wouldn't that be simply just through govt T-bills which have almost no risk.
To be honest many things are fairly safe in the long run unless you get completely burned in the short run.

Nothing you can really do about that. I would just do T-bills

T-bills have the lowest risk, (unless government crashes).  Trying to make $100,000 in one year from another $100,000 "risk-free" is just not going to happen.  We can be 95% confident that you make a certain return and in general a 20% return on 100k is actually pretty good in monetary terms.  Risk-free rate is generally 2-4% depending on a countries inflation rate so if you are beating that then you are doing great.
Risk free if you put your money in the bank, it will earn a little interest but you can be sure you can double it in due time but how long can you wait for that to happen, I think we cannot get the value of our money because of the inflation rate. There's no safe way actually as when you invest you need to bear the risk.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: October 27, 2016, 05:03:37 AM
The safest way is to set a limit to how much you can spend each week on gambling and stick to your rule. This way you never lose more than you can afford to. I set my limits and I know that it is just for fun.

That is not safe at all because if you lose then you will still lose money, I think if you don't want to fall in losing then it is better if you are going to completely stop gambling because you will never know if you have assurance to win. But by setting up a limit as you gamble, that is just making yourself responsible and if you run out of funds, then stop.

Yes, it's not 100% safe. Just decrease the loss chances. But the risk is there anyway. For me safe way means, play without chance to lose money, and it's not possible at all when we are gambling. It's a luck game, no way to predict what will happen after you click the bet button...
If I want to be safe I would not play in gambling, I know our chances are very low so definitely we will lose money, so basically gambling is not safe and their no safe method in it. The only thing we can hope is we will minimize our loses and to maximize the fun we want to experience and that will happen if we spend less money.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: October 27, 2016, 04:59:57 AM
With a lot of money in my wallet for sure I will keep gambling and it can be even crazier than what I've doing right now. Rich wont stop me from gambling activity and only squalor that would stop me from gambling.
As long as you can eat and will stay alive it's good to gamble. And when you are rich you have all the time in the world to gamble since many gives us freedom and we have that, and since greediness is the main reason why people lose their jobs or even family because of gambling, you will be safe at that since you will not be after for the money.

You are still young, I think money won't really matter to you, just look at who are the millioanaires, they are old, and some young are because they inherit it and some who are lucky, if you are one of those who inherit it or lucky ones, then I think your wealth will also be gone since you will grow old and probably when that time comes your wealth is already gone because of gambling, remember, your money is not infinite and you are only rich... No need to wait to become a squalor as you've said...  Smiley
Definitely that would happen because the moment you gambling and you are thinking you are not the one who made an effort to achieve financial success it would be easy for you to spend that without thinking so hard you could lose.

In the end you will realize when everything is gone, and you are thinking then if you could turn back the time you will not gamble.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: October 27, 2016, 04:56:06 AM
Gambling is fun because when betting, you will be more involved in it and you are more excited about the outcome/result. If you look at other people gamble, it is so much different in the feeling, and that is why gambling can be very addicted.
and I think the most fun is when you bet in large numbers and you win the match. Well, usually such events can not be unexpected. when it happened to me, well, I felt that I could gamble and win in the long run. I think it can make people addicted
Yeah, adrenaline rush when you make big bet or play against good players on cards game feels so excited to me.
Moreover if you winnings it and get profits feels satisfied for your efforts, those what fun in gambling.

Together with the thrill a gambler wants is making gambling fun. I had experience this before that I bet big amount with a small odds and it is really making me excite for I am just thinking for the amount that I am going to win, but in the end I failed. But still I didn't regret, it besides I keep on doing it again and again.
There's no challenge on that in my side because small odds will give you a high chance of winning but the payout is not attractive, that would not make you rich either as time will come that you heavy favorites team you are betting will also lose, the same shall be applicable in dice.
