I got the same thing as showed in the screenshot some hours ago, not sure why, also it was the first  time i meet this. But when i cleared my OS and tried a second time everything worked correctly and i have been able to do what i needed. Guess it was just a glitch but no problem as long it doesn't stay forever. Sometimes weirds things happen on a website
8483  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: April 23, 2017, 10:28:57 AM
I think you must have messed up with rules and regulations. Moreover without any prior notice bank may not close your account. Is it really written in their clause that they have rights to terminate agreement without notice? That would be chaotic for all of us. You earn hard money and put it into banks for its safety and if something like this goes on from banks then we will be bankrupt ine day. I believe there is either mistake from bank side or most probably you have done something that misfits banks terms of agreement.

Yeah, in my country a bank can close your account for whatever reason they have, but they must tell you 60 days before, as the law require.. You can also fight the decision with customers rights associations but it takes time so at the end it is better to go in another bank to open a new account. This say, it rarely happen and when it's happen it is because of the account owners themselves, doing mistakes, like for exemple use their account for their business activities, ect
8484  Economy / Economics / Re: Microchip implant for Bitcoin Payments in Malls will you agree ? on: April 23, 2017, 10:20:16 AM
there is a similar topic about it in the main board called bitcoin implants and it is basically the same argument. and i have always found it a bit weird to be honest, to have something in your body no matter how small or harmless to your inside body environment it is. and not just because of that but also because you would be carrying funds inside of it!
it is way to sceince fictiony for me Smiley
Honestly I will not be ready to risk my health just for a convenient payment option. Moreover I'm very much comfortable with my mobile wallets and I think it will be unnecessary to go for this type of implans which might be giving any security advantages.

I believe my health is more important than anything and ignoring this type of improvements may risk something but I will be ready to afford them.

Same here i won't risk to have a microchip in my body no matter if it's a bitcoin wallet or not, this is not for me... You never know if in the future if hackers will maybe be able to hijack the microchip and controll your body.  Cheesy

Shocked How do you manage all of you guys to get your accounts hacked. I really wonder. Sometimes i even wonder if it is not used as an excuse for something. There are too much people with their account hacked

8487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: April 22, 2017, 09:02:34 PM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink
Some disadvantages of bitcoin are as follows.
1.Some merchants may hesitate to accept bitcoin as payment as they may fear that government would track their transactions.
2.Since bitcoins are stored in a wallet,if the laptop gets damaged or if passwords lost, then those bitcoins would remain unused forever.
3.If a merchant accepts bitcoin for selling his product and if the customer returns that product after some time, the question arises whether he would refund the customer his paid amount as per today's rate or previous rate.
4.Since bitcoin is not governed by any central authority,no one could guarantee that what is its minimal value.
5.Latest problem, the time taken for transaction which is too late and the higher transaction fees.

1. Like, if the gov can't track their transactions paid using cards, checks or others. Otherwise it is called frauding. Something is called accounting... 2. Who is stupid for not backing up their wallet, they should use another type of wallet or simply stay away of cryptocurrencies. 3. There is no question, the merchant refund with bitcoin, not with fiat. If you bought something with a card and the merchant refund your oder, you are not refunded with checks
8488  Economy / Speculation / Re: The question is when: Bitcoin at $2000. 2017 or 2018? on: April 22, 2017, 08:45:55 PM
I am fully optimist to see Bitcoin at 2000$. However i don't think we will see it in 2017 or 2018. Maybe we will have periods of some days near his rate but it won't last long. Bitcoin still has 2-3 years before to be at 2000$. We will be lucky if the price goes to 1800$ this year, very lucky.
8489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 22, 2017, 08:11:17 PM
If more people begin to see the payment speed of Bitcoin then I think that the Government would begin to accept Bitcoin as a Currency.

I don't know if you are using sarcasm, trolling, or have an idea about what you are talking. But "the payment speed of Bitcoin " ? Are you serious? It takes several time often to get a transaction fully comleted. Do you really think if people see "the payment speed of Bitcoin" so the Gov. will accept it ? It is the best joke of the day
8490  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Central Banks Losing Control? on: April 22, 2017, 03:17:52 PM
Central banks are not losing control only, in my opinion. They are also losing their mind. Since long time now but only recently people start to see it clearly. But thinking that China can shut down bitcoin with no problems as it is say in the article is just silly i think. And the Central Bank does not set interest rates nor any other fees or charges
8491  Economy / Economics / Re: Microchip implant for Bitcoin Payments in Malls will you agree ? on: April 22, 2017, 03:00:25 PM
Microchips already exist since some years now, here it is used for dogs and cats identification. In another country wich i don't remember it is used to track the workers. In spain there is a night club where they inject you a microchip that you can use to pay your drinks, google it it's just crazy.
So if it used as wallet to pay things, in future it will surely be used for bitcoin too, as any other currency can be used. Also search for "Project Cyborg" there an engineer who is make a microchip so humans can talk each others using telepathy.
8492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: April 21, 2017, 09:14:14 PM
It looks like deep inside most countries don't want Bitcoin to survive

Maybe, with only a few exceptions such as Switzerland which seems to be pretty loyal to Bitcoin, but that's not surprising since Swiss gnomes always loved gold and Bitcoin is not very far from it given its limited supply. Right now Bitcoin is no threat to the majority of currencies, so most governments prefer to either ignore it or don't reveal their true attitude toward Bitcoin and declare their neutral stance in public. But when it starts used for real (personally, I expect that it will happen when instant transactions finally come about), they will have to act and we may not quite like their actions

It depends how you see it, Bitcoin is not a threat to the majority of currencies but it can be for the market maybe? Directly or not... Like you said for 'the majority of currencies' so there are exceptions to this. Governments that prefer to not reveal their position about Bitcoin can also be the same reason. Let's imagine one of the top country in Europe suddently publish "Yes to Bitcoin, Go Bitcoin", I can smell the next day a panic movment in the banking industry with the help of Brussels and the medias. So for safety (their own yes) it may be better to not say anything right now.
8493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: April 21, 2017, 08:15:09 PM
Can someone tell me . I am interested to try a wallet for smartphone, I basicaly hate smartphone, a little hard to use for me, I am looking for an app easy to use. But, if I use such wallet, let's imagine i lost the phone, so anyone finding the phone can empty the wallet in some seconds, right? Then, it's crazy to use those type of wallets ? Just to be sure. So i can look more "swag" like teenagers say.
8494  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Price comparison of Bitcoin Debit Cards on: April 21, 2017, 07:26:28 PM
Nice comparaison, specially for mentionning the margin. You could add to your list, Bitwala wich is a good website, and Coinbank as someone mentionned before. Both deserve to be included in your list. Some have a monthly fees, you can also consider adding this parameter. Then make us a nice table comparaison Grin
8495  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anybody used BTCJam? on: April 21, 2017, 01:07:51 AM
I may be wrong but if I remember correctly BTCJam stopped operating since some times now, or at least closed the registration. I don't know if those type of websites give you a guarantee about your money wich I doubt, in this case if you really want to try this, maybe you could be better doing like the guys are doing here
8496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Valar Morghulis, All ShitCoins must die on: April 20, 2017, 05:57:50 PM
Well, you can not call a shitcoin because you see a graph showing a decrase in the rate. It happens to bitcoin as well, so are you saying the same about bitcoin? It's true there are a lot of shitcoins but in my opinion monero is not one of them
8497  Economy / Economics / Re: Design The Perfect Bank on: April 20, 2017, 04:27:30 PM
The ideal is one that allows you to have a dedicated manager in an agency close to your home,
That is ideal, but online banks tend to not have luxury of having local offices.

And i want to add: to open an account easily, quickly 100% online.
I prefer online banking. I have not visited my bank agency since about 3 years.
Opening account is easy, there is a problem when you need to close the account because you are disappointed with terms bank offers.
I experienced many times situation when I opened bank account and after year bank added some ridiculous fee.
It is always far complicated to close unneeded account and get rid of the problem than to open it.

Yes I agree with this, but it is also what make theirs fees cheaper. Since they don't have local office and so a rent to pay, and others ressources than others traditionna banks have, they split this reduction on the fees charged to customers. Less machine, less office, less electricity ect ect. It decrase the cost of operating a bank. Also the staff working in those banks are very very less aware about banking. You can test yourself, if you ask them some basic questions they are able to give you an answer, but as soon you start to ask some very specific questions, they will just tell you, sorry i don't know. Those people are less trained and less efficient when it's time to ask precise questions
8498  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card, NOT provided by Wave Crest Holdings Ltd. (MyChoice) on: April 19, 2017, 06:40:52 PM
Is there a reason why you are not interested in Mychoice cards? I am curious as the majority of the cards are issued by them.

No, there isn't any specific reason, i was just curious.

I searched for the same but never found something that is not from Wave Crest. And Bitpay cards are issued from Metropolitan Commercial Bank, Shift card i don't know, but both are for US citizen only. I think most of the cards, if not all, are from Mychoice, but it looks like for a US company it comes from others

Both are for US citizens. Anything for Europe?

I checked one by one all sites that i know of and all are using Wave Crest. There is Spectrocoin thay maybe is not using Wave Crest but it is a big maybe.. Usualy you can find on each website in the footer of the card page (website.com/card-details) a message saying the cards are issued by Wave Crest bla bla bla. And Spectrocoin is the only one i saw not displaying this message, that's why i think they may not use WC but personnaly I doubt. Otherwise some other i have not look are Neteller/Skrill, since they have bitcoin option and each have a card, maybe there is a possibility with them, if they allow loading their card with bitcoin
