8501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 19, 2017, 02:38:36 PM
The problem that we get when using Bitcoin for daily use is a long time to wait for the transaction is confirmed and if you want to fast then have to pay the fee is quite high, so want to use Bitcoin for daily use is better use a very important thing, or transaction with big amount.

Amen. I use my Shift card from Coinbase most days. Problems usually arise when I am attempting to add additional funds to the card (takes forever to confirm and post, has had me sitting at a gas station for an hour because I neglected to bring back up cash). Other major issue is when the API they use lags; it will deny the transaction, take the coin, the refund the coin a day later or so. And the store POS will have it as a rejection. I accidentally got a free meal this way ( argued the waitress down that she had actually charged me, showed here the line item, and eventually she comped the entire meal and apologized. After I left the restaurant, about 30 minutes later the coin refunded, had to call back and apologize the next morning. They didn't make me pay, so, solid customer service at least.)

Really ? How are you able to pay the gas station with those cards loaded with Bitcoin ? Usualy you can't use it at gas station, to rent a car, paying the hotel, with those type of VISA/MASTERCARD.There are some cards that you can do this of course, but prepaid cards it is not possible, at least here, no matter if it is a card loaded with bitcoin by the way. All prepaid cards are restricted paying those things, it's usualy noted on user agreement/TOS
8502  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKCoin - bank blocked all their deposits on: April 19, 2017, 02:17:40 PM
Whoever from the western world who has bitcoins or funds in Chinese exchanges is getting what they were looking for.
After years of faking trades, faking volumes, pumps and dumps , problems with the government, the banks if you're really trading there ... sorry to say but you deserve it.

Who's gonna crash first bitfail or notokcoin?

True that. I even wonder why western people would use any chineese exchanges.  Undecided Like if not any other exist... Is there any advantage to use those instead, other than liking to risk their funds. It will be the last place i could going for.
And i don't think it is related to  AML KYC problems, as is saying @Red-Apple, otherwise it would have happened long before. If it is i guess we will see a sow ball effect
8503  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pls help. Coinizy.com does not accept my country on: April 19, 2017, 01:49:44 PM
You should have checked this information before trying to using it not after, specialy with money services... As result your money may be lost now.
If they do have an account on twitter and if you see the account is active, try to contacting them there if you have no luck on their own website. For some weird reasons sometimes companies give a better and more fast support on twitter than their website. Good luck
8504  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: April 19, 2017, 01:24:35 PM
@georgiivanov13 Wich bank are you asking? The Advcash prepaid MasterCard is issued by Wave Crest Holdings, a company from Gibraltar providing payments solutions business-to-business. They also provide MyChoice and MyFare wich are in the same activities somewhat. This information is surely listed in their own website, Advcash i mean, check their user agreement or TOS it shalls be listed somewhere there
8505  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 18, 2017, 09:33:32 PM
@speem28 you should see the opposite... Given that bitcoin is a transparent crypto-currency, and that all transactions are public, why nobody ever thought to use the btc to fight the misappropriation of public funds and so that the citizens can see exactly how their taxes are being used? Smiley
8506  Economy / Economics / Re: Design The Perfect Bank on: April 18, 2017, 08:47:27 PM
The ideal is one that allows you to have a dedicated manager in an agency close to your home, and to totally manage my account online, easily and in real time, but also personalized at moderate prices and sophisticated services...None is completely perfect (or imperfect either). Thus, ideally, to have the best Bank, should use the services of several banks! And i want to add: to open an account easily, quickly 100% online.
I prefer online banking. I have not visited my bank agency since about 3 years. I don't need any other currency than one. As for the fees, this is where I am not happy, they charges me monthly 2 times more than what my mobil phone bill, to compare... Can you believe that ! The only thing i use is their website !
Now there are banks 100% online and it becomes more and more pouplar and it's cheap, I am thinking to switch to one of them as they charge 3 times less than my current bank

8509  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best BTC Debit Card? on: April 16, 2017, 01:20:45 PM
I'm looking for a Debit Card that can be:
Funded by BTC directly
Has no monthly fee
Has few other fees
Can be purchased in the US
Comes in MasterCard or Visa (can be either)

Does a card like this exist?

Advcash has no monthly fees and can be funded by bitcoin. Tou send bitcoin to your Advcash account, then transfer the fund from your wallte to your card. You won't find any service where you don't send the bitcoin into your account first. The fees you pay is 1$ each time you load the card. If you load 500$, 1$ is a reasonnable ammount in my opinion. Of course there are ATM fees. Theirc cards are Mastercard
Do you think this is acceptable card by many store online.. i am planning to have advash account  let me know is this card are acceptable in paypal.. or bing as your card?
I heard one of the good is coinzy.. this is just i heard from other post and i think almost they have the same as advash..

Hi. Yes I use it regulary with online stores and never it has been refused so far. This, with their plastic or virtual card no problem. The same thing with offline shops, like supermarkets, ect and I use it more than my bank card. So for me i am totally happy with advcash, i don't ask anything more than what is promoted on their website.

8511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maersk, Walmart & others already applying blockchain technology to everyday use on: April 16, 2017, 10:58:42 AM
You know, there are many industries where the blockchain technology can be used, food traceability, diplomas(degrees) verification, ect. Worldline Atos is even on it for the market of second hand cars to enable people to check the maintenance history that have been done on any car. We have seen nothing yet regarding the potential of the blockchain. In my opinion the blockchain will be bigger than bitcoin.
8512  Economy / Goods / Re: Need a physical Bitcoin debit card on: April 15, 2017, 01:33:02 PM
The OP says he is from Algerie, so his/her country is not eligible to any of those Visa cards so it means he/she can't use service like Bitwala, Cryptopay, Spectrocoin, Xapo and others, as they use the same provider (MyChoice). And the same problem for the Mastercard cards. Advcash too doesn't offer card to his/her country and same thing with WrirexApp. He can however get a " No-name cards" from Coinbank
8513  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 15, 2017, 12:35:36 PM
I doubt Bitcoin will reach the 1500$ mark this year. Specially with segwit, bitcoin ublimited debates, ect. Maybe for some days but it won't last long. I believe the max it will reach for this year will be around $1300-1400 but not more. Currently i am quite happy with how it is, of course i can be more happy if the price incrase, but i can't complaint...
8514  Economy / Economics / Re: FUD article from Bitcoin.com - The sky is falling!!! on: April 15, 2017, 12:29:42 PM
This is how you get traffic, posting controversy, non sense, ect. I read a few articles weekly that make me wonder if authors know what they are talking about. But regarding the article posted in the OP, I agree with @HabBear when he/she says it is a sign of fending off sellers. I am not sure the motivation of bitcoin.com but i find them sometimes weird
8515  Economy / Economics / Re: "European Central Bank: Still Too early for Blockchain Technology" on: April 15, 2017, 12:19:41 PM
Whether in Europe there has been no support from his government.

European Central Bank has other problems and others priorities currently than to adapt Blockchain technology. It is not something you can decide to adopt in 1 week, and less something you can implement without be sure of the results. As they started to study the technology so it does mean they are not closed mind, at least they checked it. European politic  and economy are old school by nature
8516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BCAP] THE FIRST DIGITAL LIQUID VENTURE FUND - BLOCKCHAIN CAPITAL FUND on: April 15, 2017, 12:09:00 PM
Excuse me but the $10 million raised for BCAP tokens are just a small part of the $50 million total that Blockchain Capital is raising. As for the others $40 million it will be raised in traditional fashion. And you were confusing 2 personn here. So ?
8517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous on: April 15, 2017, 08:32:27 AM
We all can see that on internet there are a lot of online shopping sites which have a lot of customers even bitcoin users also need paypal to shop online while they do not know that with bitcoin they can shop online easily without any exchange but they do not know about these sites. The reason is that these online shopping sites do not advertise their sites they even do not advertise on here which is the biggest bitcoin community and where they do not need any higher budget for advertising but can start a smaller signature campaign.

And so you except to see online shops paying thousands of dollars to have PR published on various sites? And see their staff coming here to start a signature campaign? It's funny. Oh yeah why not a spot on TV? People who use the shop know when you can pay with bitcoin or not
8518  Economy / Services / Re: Need a vps service to host my project on: April 14, 2017, 08:28:02 PM
vultr.com is accepting bitcoin, or at least was back in 2014-2015, and it's much better than Digital Ocean, speaking about performances. They have different location servers, USA and Europe mainly and few Asian.
8519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Bitcoin users. on: April 14, 2017, 06:37:14 PM
Recently, a comprehensive cyrpto currency study was conducted by the university of cambridge.Although,it has revealed various aspects of bitcoin such as total number of wallets used, number of unique users of crypto currency wallets, but finally they have said that it is impossible to know precisely how many people use crypto currency. What do you think? Can we atleast get an approximate number of  total Bitcoin users world wide?

There is no need of an university to know that it is not possible to know the actual and realistic number of people using bitcoin. Any villager would tell you the same. From people using more than one wallet to people using exchanges as their only wallet. What can be used to determine an accurate estimation. Using the daily transactions going is not usefull either.

Personally I will go for like 4 million active users, I have close to 10 wallet, trying to hedge myself from any unforeseen scenerio. Do anyone have the actual number of users on Bitcointalk.org

The forum has actually +900k members https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats but thousands of accounts are abandonned or used by farmers/scammers ect. It should not be used to even just give an idea on anything
8520  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggest a bitcoin wallet have PayPal support on: April 14, 2017, 02:49:44 PM
Take a look at Coinbank. It's a wallet, exchange. You can there send bitcoin to your paypal account, but not from paypal to your btc wallet. And you need to be verified to have acces to paypal withdraws. As well the funds can be on hold for 21 days, i think like when you sell on ebay ? They have debit cards as well. I have not tried their service but it's just that i know about the Paypal feature on their site.

I am not aware of many. But I am aware of coinbase allowing withdrawals in PayPal . Here is article you will find useful to start with on coinbase : https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/2458534

And withdrawal fees is around 4% in coinbase : https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/2109597-buy-sell-bank-transfer-fees

It's only for US citizen..
