8542  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: April 08, 2017, 12:29:34 PM
Imagine just a collapse of the system, slow and painful consequence of the crisis that began in 2007, a monetary and financial collapse with what money will you pay food? Gasoline if there? Drugs?  Roll Eyes With still more liquid gold and silver coins. And if you are lucky to avoid a major crisis before your death, you can always pass on to your grandchildren this savings.

8544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: April 07, 2017, 05:33:14 PM
Yeah once i received btc accidently, not a lot just some cents. I have never understand. It was in my coinbase wallet and as message there was something like "please, donate money for my studies, i am poor, bla bla bla, my btc adress: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" I guess the guy was sending cents to people randomly in hope someone really donate something. Well my advice to him if he is reading: if you are poor, start to not send money to people randomly

8546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple releases 333 million more Tokens on: April 07, 2017, 01:08:06 PM
From 2 april to 4 april we could see a nice incrase of the ripple rate but it didn't last long. so far it's back to it was before. Just a buzz after some news published here and there on  the web i think. What is your opinion guys for the next days
8547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the good old days of bitcoin? on: April 07, 2017, 12:56:25 PM
The mentality of the bitcoin community is changing compared to the old days. Now it's going far from the ideology from the creation of bitcoin. Is it good or bad, i don't know. But even the type of people involved in bitcoin are not the same and most don't even know or understand why bitcoin was  created. maybe  it's like the darwin theory lol
8548  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 07, 2017, 12:52:38 PM
If you bought 1 BTC while the price was about 980$ some days ago and when you see today the price is about 1190$. It is a 200$ profit in just some days. I know you  may think 200$ is not a lot, but for me 200$ in some days is quite nice to make, considering you just need to wait. So when people were selling in panic at 980$ i was happy to buy and today i am happy with my choice
8549  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: April 07, 2017, 12:45:39 PM
Do I a verified account in order to withdraw from paypal account to the virtual card?

I don't know if you are referring to a particular service but usually yes you need to be verified to withdraw from paypal account to the virtual card. Otherwise you are in risk to have your card locked and the funds maybe lost. So my advice is be sure to be verified before trying or you may loose some money
8550  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" bitcoin debit card [EUR & USD] on: April 07, 2017, 12:42:15 PM
Hi guys, is there someone able to tell me ?

Yesterday, I was buying something and during the last moment, they were telling me something like
"Note that we don't accept Visa Electron,Mastercard Maestro..."

So i wanted to use my Advcash card, since it is a Mastercard, and nothing is mentionning Maestro. But the card has been refused. I triedwith  another(visa, not written electron on it) but the same

Yeah it happened to me once when subscribing for a new mobil phone line, from what i understood the card need to be from your country, i don't know how, but they can see if the card is one from your country or not. I was noticing a message like "please use a (country name) card to be able to continue..." when i tested with another card then all worked fine, so for me it has to be with the country origin of the card and Advcash cards come from germany or gibraltar, i don't remember exactly
8551  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-e down right now? on: April 07, 2017, 12:32:08 PM
A DDOS was going on BTC-e. Sadly it is something usual with this type of sites, so not really a thing to worry about, as long those sites have a DDOS protection, from Cloudfare or anything else then it's fine if they can handle this type of event. It should be crazy if they have not any protection
8552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoine offline wallet and payment fee on: April 06, 2017, 11:02:00 AM
Yep Electrum would be good for you, give it a try when you have some time as with it you can choose yourself the transaction fees manually. And i agree with what others members are saying, 0.005 is already pretty high fees for a transaction, why do you want to have the possibiity to pay more than that?
8553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: April 06, 2017, 10:45:31 AM
Again a great news for Bitcoin, but there is still some "limits" customers must answer a list of questions that were not asked before like to tell their  job and the reason that push them to transact on bitcoins.  Roll Eyes They must also download id documents and wait that Exchange platforms treat, which can take a few days. On the other side, themselves exchanges must comply with several additional regulatory requirements. The most restrictive of these is a requirement to hold, at a minimum liquid capital (don't know the amount). Still, better than nothing...
8554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying the new Bitcoin ATM near my house on: April 06, 2017, 10:35:54 AM
Nice video showing your favorite Bitcoin ATMs and how to use it. I didn't know it is so easy to use it to buy your bitcoin. Yes the rate is a bit higher but that didn't surprised me. I never see one until today, thanks for sharing. By the way, this ATM is from BitcoinBrains but do you know any company building/selling such machine? I am just curious
8555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: April 06, 2017, 10:21:35 AM
Have you read the news about Bitfinex guys? In any case well done, it is the best theft managed in the history of the Bitcoin on an exchange. They survived everything by repaying their debts in just 8 months and become the new leaders. If they had gone bankrupt, no one would have been repaid. It is a question of confidence, clear communication... Bravo!
8556  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitwala.io on: April 06, 2017, 10:14:58 AM
Bitwala is a good wallet, not so well know but it doesn't matter. What matter is how trusted and reliable a web wallet can be. As for Bitwala they are reliable and proactive. It 's a small team with a passion for bitcoin and they deal fast with support tickets. This wallet is particulary good if you plan to make transfer to your bank account (sepa). With them, they send to your bank account the same day, so you can except to receive the next day. Small companies are often better to provide support as they are more dedicated to it

8558  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: April 05, 2017, 04:03:54 PM
The thing to consider and think about is: Bitcoin is a currency and it should be used as a currency..  If everyone were holding their bitcoins in their wallet and never sell, the situation would not be the same as it is today. Bitcoin is a currency, we need currency to buy foods, pay bills, ect. Bitcoin as a currency should be used the same. Of course like you save money with fiat, you can save bitcoin too as well.
Bitcoin is a currency not a stamp you collect from the envelopes you receive
8559  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: April 05, 2017, 03:59:17 PM
Good luck to you as well. Personally i will wait the last moment to post there, because you can post only 1 time and in just a few days a lot can happen with the bitcoin price. So i will wait on 30 april and post something random to try my luck, I am usually unlucky but who know ? And I will be happy to get a Ledger Nano S for free
8560  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: April 05, 2017, 03:08:57 PM
If you guys are good with predictions or if you own a crystal ball,  "La Maison du Bitcoin" organizes a contest to win a Ledger Nano S: it is to guess the price of the Bitcoin in euros on Kraken, April 30, 2017.
