I am very pleased to announce, the Bangladesh Water Well crowdfunding has reached its funding goal!
I will begin the process today and soon a water well in EverGreenCoin's name will be constructed.
Not only is it a very honourable thing for EGC, specifically the water branch, to accomplish. It will also be amazing publicity and proof of our intentions.

Price is looking good today - we just hit 2300 satoshis - sentiment is looking extremely bullish...
Even if the price rises to 10k there still wont be enough volume to same c-cex - unless there is significant volatility or somebody transfers a large amount of funds, there simply isn't enough liquidity on the market As the time of this writing, c-cex volume for the month is at 4.63 BTC of the needed 6 BTC. Thank you for sharing Oh it is possible to add masternodes during the year. It's motivating to buy more now. Do you have any idea of the number of coins to have a masternode ? (maybe this is too soon to have an idea ... I will understand if I do not have the answer now) It certainly is possible to add masternodes during this year, yes. Masternode discussions only started 3 or 4 days ago but, I have put thought into it and did discuss those thoughts during the meeting. We have current milestones (namely, the solar staker) that need focus. I would like to stay on track. I would also like to build upon Staking for Charity and this work has already begun but, relatively speaking, not very time-consuming. Then, we can implement masternodes. I would project this possible in Q3, but that is not a commitment. It might need to be in Q4. Logistical uncertainties of the solar staker make pinning those dates impossible, so I do need to allow for a great deal of tolerance. As far as the number of coins for a masternode, someone asked me yesterday and I 'guessed' maybe 10k EGC. Of course, I would never make that decision without the input of the community. I only used that number as a guess and with little thought into it. It might need to be lower. So, that is only a 'thought', not an 'answer'. Thanks for your interest, kylro. |

Many thanks to all the participants of today's meeting! To summarize today's meeting very briefly: EGC Racing is planning many things related to iRacing that will be great promotions for EverGreenCoin. We hope to have recordings made of these races soon and will share them when we do. Joe and Mike have been doing much work on this. The new sets of eyes they attract are very welcome. The staking Android wallet is undergoing the needed changes to address the concerns raised by the community with the existing version. We do expect to have that revised version released and in the play store in the month of May. The non-staking Android wallet has had little progression this past month because a developer involved with it was unavailable most of the month. However, work is continuing on it at the fastest rate passible. The core EverGreenCoin wallet will be getting some improvements to Staking for Charity and then, later this year, we can entertain the thought of masternodes. A bitcointalk signature campaign is in the works. Do expect that to launch in the near future. We are securing the needed funding and resources for the purchase of CAT trading bot software. It does appear delisting from c-cex is imminent at this time. I will of course remind the administrator that the hardfork and less-than-perfect response time to upgrading during it also affected EGC's low volume there. That said, I do not personally see the delisting as a big deal if in fact they chose to do so. Much focus has to be centered around the solar staker now. We still need about 3 BTC of additional volume this month to avoid delisting at C-Cex. If you are in a position to bring any volume to C-Cex, by ways of buying and/or selling EGC, please do find the time to do so in this month of April. Delistings always give a negative impression and might cause uncertainty. Word of any delisting might give investors a false impression of EverGreenCoin. Well, masternode operators tend to have their nodes running continuously. From a strictly network perspective, this does fortify things. Other advantages we could possibly leverage include: Anonymization increased privacy of transactions Instant transactions A decentralized governance A decentralized budgeting system Immutable proposal and voting systems So yes, there is much to be discussed. Yes, the next meeting is Saturday, April 29th @ 17:00 GMT. Sorry you will be unable to attend, but it is nice you are helping your friend move. Remember, lift with your knees! Not your back.  Looks like it going to be an interesting meeting then. If it isnt too much work, it could be a nice addition. It would be even better, if we could give it a green twist, to better fit our profile. It could be done using some of the governance tools. The meetings are always interesting.  This is by no means a change that will be or could be done overnight. But if planned well, it could a very good use of time. A green 'angle' on it would be prerequisite. We will have time to explore these ideas better in and out (here, irc/slack, telegram) of the community meetings. |

Why don't we come-up with a Masternode Setup implementation on EGC Coin?
Masternodes Coin are the Latest Trends & are doing really well such as PIVX, DASH, CRW, TX, MUE, EXCL, INSANE (joining the party soon) etc.
As all Holders will setup a Masternode by just Holding EGC in their Wallets, they will get the Rewards paid in EGC & thus in a short span of time, the supply on the Exchange will start to get shrink & which will directly result in the price rise of EGC Coin.
PIVX are Rewarding both Masternode Holders & also who are doing the POS Staking with their Wallets.
Organic Growth & Price Rise is inevitable with Masternodes coming into the picture but that's just my opinion, you're free to do whatever you want & I'll be always here to support this Coin.

Hello amitd2012, First, thanks for your support of EverGreenCoin. A solid user base of committed community members like yourself is and will continue to be a tremendous asset. That is greatly appreciated and will prove to be even more valuable as EverGreenCoin grows in every direction. Masternodes have been discussed briefly in the past. I do personally like the idea also, but because EGG had 'bigger issues' at that time, much attention was not given. I think now is a good time to revisit that. We can discuss this at the community meeting. I will assess the needed code changes to implement masternodes and have a report of that assessment ready for the meeting. Of course, I will post those findings and where I realistically see it fitting in the current roadmap. Again, many thanks for the unwavering support and for taking the time to share your input. From my discussions with the admin of C-Cex, it would seem we are about 4 BTC short of the 6 BTC per month requirement. 4 BTC is not much collectively, please bring some volume to C-Cex, if you are in a position to do so. Thanks! |

Here is my new office I am working on. I salvaged the table from someone else's trash. Some new bolts and screws and it will be perfect for community meetings! That is, once I get electricity and connectivity sorted. On that note, the next EverGreenCoin community meeting is this coming weekend, Saturday the 29th of April at 17:00 GMT. From my desk or my new office, I hope to see you there! Looking nice and green your way - things are getting that way over here too, leaves are jsut starting to form on the trees - Not sure if I'll make the community meeting - my wife's cousin just got engaged so we are out for a family celebration meal.
