881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 20, 2023, 11:36:06 AM

And they got the first lead of the game, 83-85, Magnolia.

Magnolia secured the win, thanks to their import playing fantastic basketball and hustling hard for a comeback. Coach Tim was disappointed in the game, particularly with the non-call, especially on Thompson's shot. However, that's part of the game and that's the PBA Grin. Coach Tim, bounce back next time please, and we'll be supporting Ginebra to win, regardless of the spread.

The referees were already suspended, but it cannot change the game now. Ginebra could have won that game if the foul had been called because Scottie Thompson would have had 2 free-throw attempts.

Here's the latest news regarding that.

Quote
The PBA has suspended the referees who officiated the game between Barangay Ginebra and Magnolia which was marred by dissension over a non-call on what looked like a Mark Barroca foul on Scottie Thompson in his last attempt.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 20, 2023, 10:59:25 AM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭
I can see that the market is in a good position currently and Bitcoin is having a positive price that has high chances to increase more and continue to surge high. And as long as there are no positive news that will hit the market and makes it suffer, then we can speculate that bitcoin price will continue to skyrocket.

However, we can't certainly tell that the bearish market is already over, and that any time of the day, bitcoin price may suddenly drop again because of market correction. But knowing bitcoin is too much volatile, then we can't continue to assume that bitcoin price will keep on moving up. Yes, the price may seem bullish but for sure we are not yet entering the bullish season but definitely, the market is heading for it especially that the assumed spot ETF approval and Bitcoin halving are coming near.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: The crypto market has changed and I think its a sign of mass adoption on: November 20, 2023, 10:17:53 AM
That is a risk but we need to accept everyone as the yare, as long as they get into crypto. I do not care if a person uses it like money, as in currency, or use it to store value, or use it for investment, or use it to trade. None of this matters to me, as long as people are using bitcoin one way or another, I find that as a good thing for the crypto world and should be as good as it gets. I get that it may not be all that simple, and maybe we will end up with something that could change it for a while, but we should definitely get something easier done later on.

This could be something that will benefit everyone, but for that to happen we need to be able to get a greater return. So if the price goes up, then the adoption will increase, and I mean adoption as in everything I talked about, including investment. If that could go up, that would mean that we are going to end up with something that should benefit everyone equally and get them a chance to like bitcoin.
I do not like to make that distinction either, people are either using bitcoin or not, whatever use they give to bitcoin is not my concern, what we need is for people to begin to use bitcoin in any way that benefits them, and if for some this take the form of an investment or as a trading vehicle that is fine, since once bitcoin reaches enough people and it is adopted by them the easier it will be for those people to make the transition and begin to use bitcoin on their daily routine.
We can’t hold the people from using bitcoin as a store of value or an investment tool, or just use it as a currency, because we have different views about bitcoin and as long as we continue to benefit it in whatever we can, then it’s fine. Mass adoption of crypto does not mean necessarily that we should use it as a currency since it’s how its originally designed, but the fact that we continue to use it for the good sake of majority, and we acknowledge it because of its huge potentials, then I am optimistic that at the end of the day, mass adoption for crypto will be highly possible.

884  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 20, 2023, 09:31:16 AM
I realize it is difficult but ask yourself again. This is not a very difficult thing in terms of earning but how do we collect it little by little from our work salary that we set aside. If we want to get large capital quickly of course it will be difficult. learn to start frugality and save for the future.
Saving and arranging capital isn't a problem for people who earn well, have their businesses, and aren't employed and earn a minimum wage which is barely enough for them to complete the monthly expenses of their household. Such people sometimes have to borrow money to complete the expenses for the whole month and then worry about repaying that debt with whatever they earn or maybe get some bonus once or twice a year or something.

So, for someone to be able to get capital, they must either have a high-paying job, a personal business that earns good revenue, or more than one income sources so that they can spend money on their personal expenditures and still have money left behind that they can save for their capital.
Still, even if you have a high paying job but the demands from your family and relatives are also high and expensive, then it’s still hard to save for your investment capital. However, if you have the discipline and determination to save, of course you will really find ways to save.

I guess what works for me here is to have another source of income that pays also well, not just one but even two if you can. With that, there’s always high chances to save for your investment capital. And even if it won’t work in the beginning, you will never easily panic because you only invest your spare money, not actually the salary from your main source of income.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very Good News Argentina Cryptocurrency Holder on: November 20, 2023, 08:27:51 AM
Bitcoin-friendly  Javier Milei won the country’s presidential run-off election on Nov. 19, beating out his opponent Sergio Massa. With almost 99% of the vote counted, Milei won over 55% of the votes with a nearly 3 million vote lead according to Bloomberg data.

Source

Argentina has one of the highest crypto adoption rates so it’s not surprising that majority of the citizens here are bitcoin lovers and holders as well.

Well, with regards to this newly elected president that is bitcoin lover, this is good news for the crypto community as it’s going to create a positive boost most especially if this president will be able to create promotions about bitcoin so that their country will be next in line with El Salvador that is totally on bitcoin. For now, we are in awe of what could be this president has to offer that is connected to bitcoin, so let’s just wait and see for the next months and years if he’s really devoted into bitcoin, or just like other presidents who’s promises have been broken.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 20, 2023, 05:22:46 AM

We only have one unfinish game, and it looks like the Lakers would fall to the Rockets of if they would win they'll not cover the spread.

The Lakers won the game by only 1 point. LeBron was the hero of the game, but Davis's contribution was quite good as he scored 27 points, making him the second-highest scorer on the team. However, the fact that they struggled against the Rockets made me think that they aren't as dominant a team as before. I think both LA teams beat the Rockets but failed to cover the spread, so this Rockets team is not easy to beat.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best thing that have ever come to you thanks to BTC on: November 19, 2023, 11:57:47 PM
Hi BT what is the best thing that have ever happen to you because of BTC that never would have happen if BTC never was invented? I was quite late in the crypto world and my only regret is that I didn't start earlier and the best thing is that thanks to bitcoin I get an small income every month from trading and I have also find new friends that I probably never would meet if it wasn't for BTC. And I have for the first time in my life be able to save some money for a later period in my life everything is crypto. So conclusion everything is better thanks to crypto, at least for me.  Cheesy
Thank you Satoshi! 🙏
You could have earn more if you also invest in bitcoin for long term. While trading gives higher and faster profits, investing should not also be underrated as it can also give you life changing profits especially if you hold bitcoin for 10-20 years. Your income might have gone incomparable.

But to be honest, instead of seeing bitcoin as purely a tool to earn a living, we should also treat bitcoin as to how its originally designed, by using it as a real currency. Use it also as a mode of payment every time you decide to buy that can be paid with bitcoin, that is one way to promote bitcoin to those people who are never aware that bitcoin is a currency. It's best if we can utilize bitcoin being a currency and an investment tool, and not only focus on how bitcoin will provide us an income.

888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Know how to use Fundamental and Technical Analysis on: November 19, 2023, 11:42:52 PM
So, my friend who just started trading asked me which is better Fundamental and Technical Analysis. So, this is the reply I gave which I also decided to share with others who don't know how this works hand in hand.

Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis are not inherently better than each other. Fundamental Analysis allows you to assess the potential direction of a coin's price, whether it's bearish or bullish. For instance, you can observe how Bitcoin's price has responded to positive news, which you can find on exchanges news insights, as well as popular news apps. Technical Analysis comes into play to further analyze price movements. Is just as easy as that.

Fundamental tells you what to do, while Technical tells you when to do it
In short, fundamental analysis gives you insights and ideas on what to buy or invest depending on your choice of investment. Without fundamentals, you will never know your first and last step when doing an investment.

However, technical analysis teaches you when is the best entry and exit in the market. You could have good fundamental analysis yet you fail in executing it while timing the market, your investment will obviously never work still. So have these both fundamentals and technicalities work in unison. Otherwise, you will only waste your time and money and fail on your investment.
889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump market potential? on: November 19, 2023, 11:21:09 PM
War has been an agony with these past few months, and the more wars will happen, the higher chances bitcoin will be affected. But I'm not saying that in every war, it creates disastrous effects to bitcoin and the crypto market. Some wars don't even affect the bitcoin price at all. But if there's any, that would only be temporary and it would recover again the soonest.

However, I don't see it a barrier investing with wars happening in some countries. As long as it does not affect mine, then I'll continue to invest and accumulate maximum amount of bitcoin if there are opportunities. One certain thing  I learned from all these wars and the incoming wars, those wars will not leave long lasting effect on our investments particularly bitcoin. So just keep the stamina to invest and never quit, you will still come up successful whatever your investment is.
890  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 19, 2023, 10:57:21 PM
Well, I hope this doesn't sound like a joke to you guys or some sort of cracked-up thread, but yeah, I mean to hear the opinion of others.
The sooner you start, the better the results will be and the time to enjoy it will be quicker so that while you are still young you can experience the financial freedom that many people hope for.
Education and nurture from parents will greatly influence a person to realize the importance of investment, but if you can be said to be old but have just started investing then don't be sad and there is no need to compare your life with other people because everyone has their own time. The important thing is that you have to start investing and also form the right one so that you can finally enjoy the results of that investment.
Whether you are late or early in investing, that won't be an issue because the important thing here is you decide to invest for good. While it could be easier for some other people to start investing because they have hard-earned money, but for most of us who are only minimal income earners, the challenge to achieve a sufficient amount of capital is certainly high. Education may not be enough, you really have to work hard on it so you can save and invest.

However, if you decide to plan earlier to achieve financial stability, that would be better. It will open more possible chances to try out various investments and decide to stick on which one you become highly profitable and beneficial. Financial stability is not just earned, its a combination of hardwork and perseverance that completely paid off.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there fewer women Than men involved in Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2023, 10:32:36 PM
When I checked the statistics of women who are into Bitcoin and found out that they are less than 10%, it surprised me seriously. It is understandable when we see fewer women than men in sectors that require physical energy to carry out work activity like the military or in the engineering sector but when you still see this same work force difference in the tech and Bitcoin space that they can comfortably do at the comfort of there home, it gets me curious to know the reason that might have been responsible for this huge gap.

I would appreciate if we can talk about this here. What could be responsible for this?
Men are definitely more technology inclined and are certainly more assertive when it comes to dealing and managing risk opportunities. With bitcoin, then its expected that men will be highly interested on it rather than seeing women conquering the crypto space. Although I have no against women being successful on bitcoin, but we can't deny the fact that men are more capable to succeed on bitcoin since they are not risk averse unlike women are.

However, we can still assume that in the future, both men and women will be able to achieve the heights of success with bitcoin. This is not really impossible because although women are risk averse, but with their various experiences in the realities about life, these women will come out powerful and risk takers just as men are.
892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Path to Profit: A Trader's Emotion & Terminologies Everyone should Know on: November 19, 2023, 09:43:24 PM
If someone wanted to know all these terms before trading, he would not start his trading journey. Sometimes it requires some bold decisions and preliminary knowledge about trading because in the end, one hour of actual trading may be worth several hours of books and theoretical reading.
Also, the cryptocurrency market is very volatile and difficult to predict, so knowing the basics of technical analysis, tracking news, support levels, resistance, Fibonacci, averages and learning how to manage risks is essential before starting trading.
Trading deals more on experience rather on theoretical analysis. Although these are still crucial to learn, but we don't need to prioritize them learning as trading experience should always comes first.  In fact, not all professional traders have been aware that all these terminologies exist, and yet they still end up succeeding on their trades.

However, if you want a smooth and successful trading, then its better to still include learning these words. It does not matter when you are going to learn them, but awareness is still essential.
893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: November 19, 2023, 09:21:27 PM
The price of bitcoin will definitely cross 40k, because the price of bitcoin is increasing at a very fast pace. Bitcoin is only 3k away from 40k which is not unusual, it will be soon. Because the Bitcoin bull market has started. If you have money to invest now, don't delay, invest now. Because its value doesn't seem to drop that much again. An investment you make now, You will get very much more back later.

How the fish you know that Bull season is started? It’s just a price correction according to me. During bull season, along with Bitcoins, all the coins go up. So this is just a price adjustment due to the demand made to accumulate the coin. But this doesn’t mean that you won’t buy the coins. If you want to really make profit, then buy the coin in this price segment also. New year will be big for the coins. So just start accumulating the coins and hold it.
Bull season isn't starting but bitcoin price seems to be bullish already, one thing that we should be happy about. However, even if its 3k or 4k away from reaching $40k btc price, I'm still not highly confident that bitcoin price will easily reach that certain price. This has happened already in the previous years, and when we think that bitcoin price is very close to its price destination, suddenly the market turns upside down and end up seeing bitcoin price in a very bad situation.

The only way that I'll be highly convinced that bitcoin will consistently increase its price is when we start seeing the real bull run. Of course, I'm still very optimistic that bitcoin will still achieve $40k, but the time is still uncertain.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: November 19, 2023, 08:58:02 PM
Yes, bitcoin hodling is never easy most especially if you are still new in the market industry. You would definitely think that keeping bitcoin in your wallet is good enough, but that's not how bitcoin works. You will encounter a lot of hurdles once you decide to hold and with every market crash and price decline, you will tend to break your patience easily and lose out of control and end up panic selling. The reason why a lot of bitcoin hodlers still end up losing and regretting.

However, if you do prior research before bitcoin investing and study the market and bitcoin price first before entering the market, then you can easily manage the pressures in bitcoin hodling. It could be hard if you hold bitcoin without knowledge, but if you are aware on the high volatility and market downturn, I guess you would still end up successful in your bitcoin investment.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wedding expenses and party celebrations with Bitcoin money. on: November 19, 2023, 08:33:37 PM
First of all, best wishes to the newlywed! Bitcoin has turned your dream wedding into reality, and if I may guess, you will invest again so you can build your  dream house in the future, hehe.

Hopefully, you will start buying again when bitcoin is in a bear price, which means timing your purchase when bitcoin is in a bargain price, and hold it longer  like 5-10 years so you can gain life changing profits when you decide to sell. Bitcoin is a long term investment, the higher the years that you will hold bitcoin, the bigger the profits you will reap in time. But hodling without stable emotions is always hard. You have to hold with patience and as much as possible, don't entertain unnecessary emotions that will ruin your bitcoin long term hodling. If you can do that, believe me bitcoin investment won't be too hard on you and you will gain decent profits easily if you can manage well your bitcoin long term investment.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 19, 2023, 12:03:37 PM

Meanwhile, in the Ginebra vs. Magnolia game, Ginebra had a big lead that's now down to just 7 points in the 4th quarter. This game has become interesting now.

Magnolia made a strong comeback, and the closest they got to the lead of  Ginebra was just a 1 point deficit. The game has become super interesting, and now it's a real ball game with both teams having a 50/50 chance of winning.

Unfortunately, those illegal live streams got taken down, leaving no option but to switch to the Smart 5G live stream, which is way too delayed compared to what's actually happening. Tough break! Grin

And they got the first lead of the game, 83-85, Magnolia.

That's a noble job if you were able to help an addicted gambler to fix himself, not everyone has the will to do that since it's a personal problem and we don't want to intrude on their lives. But personally, I haven't tried that yet, hopefully in the future if i meet some addicted gambler I will be able to help as I have experience it and fix myself, so I know what to do and I feel what addicted gambler are feeling now.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you in profit? on: November 19, 2023, 06:28:22 AM
Yes, take a look at my recent post. I have been very profitable by only placing matches I am 100% confident in.

Wow, you've ignite my interest in checking out your posts. Honestly, I haven't come across many people boldly claiming they're super profitable in public. But if what you're saying is true, then I'm intrigued. Let's see, or maybe you'd like to share some strategies here?

899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 19, 2023, 05:56:33 AM
Looks like the Warriors just dropped their 6th in a row. So brutal to take the lead in the last seconds just to end up going to OT and getting spanked. I think relying on that 3 pointer is killing the Warriors. They took 46 shots from 3, while they made 18 of them it's still not the greatest strategy. If you are going to be shooting that many threes, you have to really crash the boards and have a big edge in rebounds. Probably doesn't help with the Green suspension either.

The Warriors' strength used to be their 3-point shooting, but unfortunately, many teams have caught up; they're good shooters now too. The sad part for the Warriors is that, while they keep improving their shooting, they haven't focused much on enhancing their inside defense. This leaves them vulnerable against teams with dominant big men, like OKC with Chet, the tall guy who forced the game into OT.

They're on a 5-game losing streak at home: one against the Cavs, two against the Wolves, and two against OKC. It doesn't look good, man. Tough times for the Warriors.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: November 18, 2023, 11:58:57 PM
Bitcoin is King & most of the altcoins are absolute crap. Most altcoins have no utility, no future & no real world use case. Bitcoin is the only one that will last for the long term, Ethereum is potentially an OK buy but the rest of them are a total lottery. Why put your wealth in a centralised coin with so many points of failure. Bitcoin is the future of finance, we are going to the moon very soon.
While we continue to impose that bitcoin is the king and the most trusted cryptocurrency, still a lot of people end up trusting some altcoins wishing they could gamble on those coins and expect massive profits when these altcoins turn highly successful and productive when bull run comes. But that will only work to those who think investing is like gambling, that even if they disregard bitcoin, they will still make good rewards with those pump and dump altcoins.

Well, good luck to those who risk on altcoins more than bitcoin. In the end, bitcoin will still lead the market and makes the highest source of profits, and not sure by that time if altcoins will also follow the path of bitcoin. This really keeps confusing me why the hell people still trust altcoins when they can safely secure those profits just by sticking into bitcoin.
