881  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: May 16, 2016, 02:54:11 PM
Anytime is buy time if you think the price will be higher later on.

I think only that time is right, when the price is low, and you should know that later on the price will be increased, than you get a profit, but if you buy the bitcoin at this price $500, so how can you get profit. so think about it and than buy it.
It is not the best time that you can buy but if you want to make an investment in Bitcoin than it will be also not that worst now if you are making an investment around this time because the value is not even that high.
But you have to be quick because it is going to rise slowly and that would be perfect.

You got a good point there. I don't consider the current moment a good way to invest or buy bitcoins, since the price seems a little bit high at the moment. Just look how much resistance the price find it self now, It's clear that 500 USD will either not happen or happen with a lot of effort.

$500 will be achieved very soon, and if you don't invest now then you will regret in future, as price will keep on moving up now and it will not fall at a moment.

LOL it doesn't make sense what you say.  There is never a guarantee. Sure you can feel the moment is good, and think the price must go up but we are dealing with an unpredictable asset. This kind advice should be avoided. Al though i do feel the sentiment right now is quite good.

We all know that there is no  guarantee so what shall we do?  Should we stop investing? should we stop earning? Even if God comes down to earth he cannot predict what will be the price at the time of halving.

No one is sure about the price increase. In my opinion its better to have hope and buy and earn as much possible. Even if we doesn't get a profit, bitcoin won't lead us towards loss as it happens in share market.

it depends. if you keep holding your coins eventhough the price has dropped significantly, then you don't lose anything. but if you sell, then yes, you'll end up making a loss. stocks are exactly the same in that aspect.

Yes if price falls then its better to wait for sometime, and this is time when majority of people gets panic and sell their coins thinking that it will not rise again.
882  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: May 16, 2016, 02:51:45 PM
i have a little doubt about btc price in future.should i save btc for increasing value of bitcoin?

or maybe price of btc will be down in 5-10 year
just imagine about future of btc and tell me should i save bitcoins for future or not...?

if you have doubts about price in future i can say that price will be much larger than now as in 2 months we will have bitcoin block reward halving, so price will rise then for sure

so i think that it is really worth to invest in bitcoins and save them for year, or even more than 2 years as bitcoins will be more popular later so their price will rise too

Saving for more than 2 years is not profitable. In 2 years I can make more money by using it actively in exchanges rather to save it for years. If price will bloom in the next 2 years I will get more value in terms of exchange rather than the fixed value of those save coins.

Saving too long can never be profitable as we don't know what will be the price after two years, and if price falls then you need to go through huge loss.

if the price drops, of course you have to be patient much longer, because of the possibility of bitcoin prices will increase in the future. it all depends on your beliefs, if you have faith, maybe it would be good to keep for 5-10 years

Holding for 5 years is acceptable but 10 years would be really long time and we might get clear idea in next 5 years that what will the future of bitcoin.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: May 16, 2016, 02:49:06 PM
BTC is going to rise for many decades to come.

Some short term drops doesn't really matter to me. Look, we've got from 0 to $1300. Why can't we go from $450 to $1 million? Grin

yes you are right we can go from $1 to $1300, but for now it seems to be difficult to repeat, even from 450 to $1m Cheesy:D
price difficult to rise higher, because the circulation of bitcoin has expanded, so that most people already hold, rather than buy.

$1m seems to be impossible and no one has that high patience to hold their coins till it reaches there, we will dump our coins even if we see the price of $1k.

Yeah people will sell their coins if they see this higher price, but what recommended is to sell few and hold  few for future as price might go even higher in future.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: May 16, 2016, 02:46:44 PM
I will not sell bitcoin I have when I know bitcoin will have prices that rose at a time. I will pay attention to the various considerations and look at the consequences of a decision I made. I believe that any action to detain and sell bitcoin is a thing pogresif.

Holding for certain period of time is good, but you need to sell few part of it when price reaches to descent level as you can buy it again in future when price drops.
885  Economy / Economics / Re: Actually the bitcoin market is very small on: May 16, 2016, 02:44:35 PM
In generally - bitcoin market is small if we compare to all world market. But do not forget that there are a lot of active BTC users base, which grow each day and BTC price can be higher too with time, so BTC niche is small, but with bright future.  Wink

Exactly and bitcoin is still new to many people, the things will be different in next 5 years, bitcoin will grow and as user adoption will go to higher level we will see huge market cap of bitcoin too.
886  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: May 16, 2016, 02:42:19 PM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.
It depends on how much  i want. If i need 5-10$ i would prefer signature campaign. If i need more i might consider selling something, or try get a loan.

Yeah but its always good to save some money on regular basis so that we don't need to go through this situation in future as nodody will help you majority of times.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 16, 2016, 02:39:38 PM
How to teach someone about dollar?  Grin
Same with bitcoin, if question is about how to teach somebody how to use bitcoin, the answer is - youtube, different forums or just experience. Nothing hard on this.
there are actually a variety of sources to do the teaching to someone. I myself try to get to know and learn about bitcoin from various sources on google blogs, websites, forums and so on. youtube may also be used as a source. but the problem is getting people interested to bitcoin ?

I think a lot of people interested in BTC because they have huge expectations on BTC, that BTC will have a future that is much better, besides the various features provided on BTC is also far more innovative than other currencies

If people are made well aware about bitcoin and shown benefits attached with it then it will surely motivate people to start using it and invest their money in it.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2016, 02:32:57 PM
If you just want to keep something other than fiat that is stable, then gold is better. If you want to make some money and you are willing to take some risk, then Bitcoin is better.

Yeah choose according to your needs if you want to make quick profits then invest in bitcoin and if you want to play safe then gold is the best option.
889  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2016, 02:30:31 PM
Worst mistake i did with bitcoin is gambling and wasted so many bitcoins on dice sites. I hope i never gambling with bitcoin, just earn it and turn it into fiat.

Do gambling only with the money that you can afford to lose and do it for entertainmnet purpose only. But at least you are now know how to spend your bitcoin better. Mistakes makes us more carefully to do something..

Each and every user here has wasted and lost their few coins in gambling for sure, but you should treat it as a wake up call and don't repeat the same mistake again in future.
890  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: May 15, 2016, 04:09:05 PM
I think this will be the best year of bitcoin, only because of the upcoming events that we are expecting in this year which will make this year more interesting for bitcoin.
891  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: May 15, 2016, 04:07:13 PM
Holding the coin for the long term is good. But we also need to spend some so that it is used. The usage can increase the price.
In order to make people spend their coins there must be enough merchants offering things people need in their daily life.

Otherwise people will stick to spending their coins from time to time just on digital goods and stuff.

we should want to spend out bitcoins in the first place so that merchants start accepting it as payment.

for example steam didn't want to accept bitcoin but since a lot of people asked them to add it, they finally accepted.

Yeah we need to implement that in real life too,  as wherever we go for shopping we need to keep on asking them do you accept bitcoin? and that will surely attract them to know about bitcoin.
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: May 15, 2016, 04:03:24 PM
I definitely think that it is going to keep on rising. It is just doing so well now and with Bitcoin just around the corner, the price is going to go up a lot.

You mean to say halving around the corner right? Yes and and now we are so near to halving we should hold our coins tight as the value would be more higher in coming months.
Bitcoin is now rising indeed slowly and many people are happy with that because they see and think that they can earn profit with Bitcoin soon and that is nice.
They have to sell it on the right moment otherwise they are losing some money and that would be bad.
You are talking based on pump and dump scenarios. But I do believe on long-term holding with the bitcoins so I never worry about any short-term bumping after that if any dumb follows on.

Yeah you will surely earn good if you can hold it for the long run as if you want to earn really good profits then  you need to have patience and should not panic if price falls.
893  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: May 15, 2016, 04:00:39 PM
Getting rich is nice but it is not my goal in life. In the end living happily is way more important.
For the people who want to get rich is, find another goal or.. work hard. By working hard you will possible get rich or wealthy..
Yes I think poor people are more happy and satisfied then rich people, as rich people are never satisfied with what they have and they keep on trying to get more richer in future.
894  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 15, 2016, 03:58:31 PM
chose both, because each has its advantages

Yeah both has its own advantages. One needs to pick upon their own necessity of money. If the necessity is in a short run saving is the right one. On a long run investing gives bigger earning.

Yes they have its own good purpose. It will just depend on the person that needs to use their service. But of course the important thing is you are saving your money for your future purposes.

I have both things ,savings for emergency problems, and i am investing to maximize my potencial income, till the moment im very happy to had invested as the returns are coming even slowly but i see the result of investing. You should always explore both options and take the risk around both knowing that you are doing something .

If you want to earn good profits in future then you need to take that extra risk at this stage, as every investment involves certain risks, that is a part and parcel of any investment.

For me it not really risk, Just think about the long term. Suppose the price falls again to 350 then just hold your coins (i.e. don't panic sell) an wait for a year or so. Eventually the price will get picked up again.
Price rise and price fall will always be a part of bitcoin journey, if price falls you should not get panic and have faith that it will rise again in future.
895  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: May 15, 2016, 03:56:38 PM
In the end we have to agree that fiat is important, the role it has in day to day transactions is something bitcoin can't take over. What's more important is that we embrace bitcoin and share it with friends and family. Only if bitcoin reaches the masses then it will be a succesfull project.

Even if the adoption reaches to extreme level, it cannot replace fiat as majority of people are earning in fiat and they are more comfortable in using it.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 15, 2016, 03:55:00 PM
There is potential here, but getting rid of all the banks? No they are too powerfull although i see it happening that banks will go bankrupt since more users will avoid them.
But since banks sell services like mortgages, insurancies etc. They where will be a place for them.

Yeah banks are the strongest, and bitcoin is not that strong yet, it will take time to grow and become more powerful, but banks will always exist, normal users desperately need them.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 15, 2016, 03:53:25 PM
The following my help to learn what is bitcoin

1. explain to him what is bitcoin
2. then teach him mining trading and hyip
3. teach him how to spent bitcoin wisely do's and dont's
4. teach him how to get faucets
5. teach him what ever he wants to know just add precautions

I agree if you will keep things simple than it will surely motivate them to get into bitcoin because its really important that should feel that earning bicoin is an easy process.
898  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 15, 2016, 03:51:02 PM

most of the way you are really bad, you'll never profit, only will lose all the money slowly.
trading and holding still the best option.

Yeah for me holding is the best option at a moment as investing could be risky at this stage as you might loose everything if your decision goes wrong.

holding really be a way that is safe for the moment, and it's bound to benefit in the coming months.

Exactly, holding will make us rich in coming months as halving can change the scenario for sure, so holing and selling at halving is the choice of majority of us.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: May 15, 2016, 03:49:33 PM
Basically the major issue is people don't hold any knowledge related to bitcoin and that is the reason they are not using it, once they gets aware they will surely start using it.

they may even have the knowledge about bitcoin or at least hear about it at some point in their lives but the problem is their ignorance and fear that prevents them from adopting bitcoin.

They have a fear of loosing their money by investing in something that they really don't know and that is the primary reason for not using bitcoin.

whereas if you want to get bitcoin, you can get without money and investing. many free ways to get bitcoin, so they should not have to fear, and must try.

If you look for free way to earn bitcoin then it will pay you in peanuts as if you want to earn higher then you need to have great level of skills.

you can build an account on these forums to the highest rank and you can get good results. after that you can collect bitcoin, then you can grow it in a better way.

Yeah having an higher rank account in good campaign can surely give you best payouts and which will help you in growing your coins over a period of time.
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: May 12, 2016, 01:13:03 PM
Interest in buying has reached peak level seen only last time when it crashed
http://www.google.com/trends/explore#q=%22sell%20bitcoins%22%2C%20%22buy%20bitcoins%22&cmpt=q

no it's not a good time to sell your coins even if price rises these days, because of halving in July, if i would be in your place i wouldn't sell them and i would wait for halving

and after it, sell your coins, as price will be very huge, so you will get lots of profit, don't ever sell your coins when price is small, always wait when price will rise and then sell

Some people are even comfortable to sell their bitcoin at the current price as it is giving them profits, and I think that is the right thing to do, do not miss a single opportunity of earning profits.
