8801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: February 26, 2017, 12:44:01 PM
How to spot a gambler addict? It's so easy indeed since we can spot it directly with just on our commonsense, gambling addicts are those persons who spent their time almost a day on playing gambling not only a single day but for everyday, regarding on money matter they do usually have problems in the end most of them do suffer on that.
8802  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 26, 2017, 10:51:46 AM
Does Bitdice Casino use the Cloudflare service?  In case you guys don't know, Cloudflare was hacked and that it's very possible that your passwords and all other info could be stolen.  I got a Polo warning and I was forced to change my passwords on all my accounts across all the exchanges and gambling sites I use.

And it's also good to always get 2FA enabled.  It think Bitcoiners are more prone to hacking than others.
Enabling 2FA is the only solution to restrict any other unrestricted usage of your account and with time everything will come under attack and cloudflare bug is a major security breach as most of the sites are using their service and so the amount of data leaked is still unknown. It is better to take the safe route rather than crying later.
This is true, changing passwords and setting 2fa doesnt consume too much time and we should really obliged ourselves to do such thing to avoid unnecessary hacking indent on your account and we do all know that all account have been compromised regarding on this cloud bleed.
8803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Any Banks And Any Other Third Parties on: February 26, 2017, 10:23:19 AM
bitcoin is really better compared to those 3rd parties and any other services regarding money transfer because in a few clicks we could able to transfer money without any hassle and compared to transfer times it might be slowed down if there spam in the network but if not transaction does confirm so fast.
8804  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: February 24, 2017, 06:47:09 AM
It is not a a crime to spend Bitcoin actually it helps the economy to grow.  I once tried to save Bitcoin but was forced to sell them all so that I won't default on my loan.  And now I am restarting to save another batch of BTC and try not to sell it as long as I can.
That will be a wise decision. I think those people who are holding bitcoin for more than 2 years are now very happy with their decision. As the price of bitcoin is now as 10th time more for what they purchase it. So if we will buy bitcoin right now and hold it for nest few years then we will be surely happy with this decision.

This is not a guarantee because price of bitcoin is volatile and we never know when the price is going to rise or dump? Although for these past 2 years the price is incredibly rise good and many people sure get some profit but it does not guarantee that the next 2 years it will be rise too. It might be dumped too, we never know about the future for sure, so if I can suggest better try to earn some amount each day so whenever it fall you will get some profit too
but I think in the long run. it will remain profitable. because bitcoin development moves forward. as well as the price of bitcoin will surely continue to rise in the next few years
This thing will surely happen on bitcoin thats why its not really late to save up bitcoin as much as we can and also there are some ways on how to buy or earn bitcoin in a free way without spending a single cent and with this its really worth for the time you spend.
8805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do winning and losing gamblers have different personalities or habits? on: February 24, 2017, 06:30:32 AM
There aren't winning gamblers, there is only one time in their gambling when they won over and over. So difference is that when you win, doesn't matter if you are looser in past, happy face on both side is same. So what's about their personalities, it absolutely depends on person because there are one types which continues normally and anothers are trying to gamble more and more until they lost everything.
This statement is completely false, sure there are winning gamblers. People who've won the lottery and never gamble again after that are winning gamblers.
Sure, the majority of gamblers lose in the long term, but there are also some winners, even in the long term.

To answer OP's question, in certain skill based gambling games, winning players do have different personalities and habits than losing players. I'm thinking of poker players and people who do sportsbetting professionally.

It is all depend on skills and luck. If you luck one of these two, you will surely lose and will not be happy anymore. Of course, controlling emotions is part of the skilled acquired.

I agree, it just depends on every player's luck and not really on personality. Well we have to have some expert conduct a thorough study on the psychological behavior of every gambler or more or lease a huge number of gamblers that loses and wins. But, in my opinion, attitude or personally does not affect your luck.
Even though personality and behavior wont affect at all on how lucky we are but still it would really still affect on how we play which means we cant do anything good on a cool way and things comes to worst even if you are lucky and you didnt use it correctly it still the same story.
8806  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: February 24, 2017, 06:10:25 AM
Convert bitcoin into fiat money. That's my idea. However your convertion is to fund offline business. Or get croudfunding from bitcoin commnunity to do offline business. By converting into fiat money, offline business which is stable can attract investment instead of deposit into HYIP.
Ill make the same move too on which those bitcoin would be converted to fiat to invest it on offline business since bitcoin isnt popular in my place and its nonsense on building or accepting bitcoin if the people live on your place doesnt even recognize it.

This is the only recourse anyone can do if you plan to invest your bitcoins in offline businesses, unless whatever you need to buy for the business accepts bitcoins then you can proceed using bitcoins. But generally, it's impossible to invest your bitcoins directly to offline businesses.

Ok so technically we are all in the same idea here that fiat is used to invest in an offline business. I have read some people posted that they use BTC to fund their stores. What is that all about? They buy BTC then convert it back to fiat to fund their stores? Where did they get the BTC in the first place if not to buy them from an exchange? Why didnt they use fiat directly?
Then maybe they are longing for the possible profits that bitcoin would give them because price does increase and they have the will to convert their btc to fiat anytime and thats the advantage. When they would directly fund using fiat it would be fixed unlike on buying bitcoin and might hold little bit more value would really be different.
8807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: February 24, 2017, 05:16:47 AM
In fact I invested quite a lot in many different casinos and...

And now what I'm really afraid of is to see the owners leaving with the money :/
I didn't think about that at first. Seeinf only the risk of the site losing money
But now I start wondering about this risk too, because if that happens you lose everything :/
We should really take the risk before we do decide to put our money on gambling bankrolls because every investment do really the risk on losing all the money thats why its really important if we do have enough money to invest we should really not put our eggs on a single basket.
8808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you subscribe to another site for additional bonuses? on: February 24, 2017, 05:03:44 AM
Hey people,

I'm thinking about oppening a website, a web directory about gambling sites.
Sure there are already a lot of gambling web directory! But here the idea would be that if you subscribe and play from our website and thus become one of our affiliate, you would have access to special additional bonuses! Deposit bonuses on websites, special promotions, unique giveaways etc...

Would you be interested and would you try new sites available on this gambling directory if there was special unique bonuses?
I am interested into subscribing for another site for additional bonuses but I'm skeptic about when the time of claiming happens.

Since it's popular that casino's are doing almost crazy things to let us believe with their some type of bonuses.

I hope that you won't the same as they did, good luck to your project.
As i play on gambling sites with do have bonuses i got directly the bonuses that they promised which is great and didnt encountered about claiming it and its not too long actually.Promotion, giveaways or bonuses are really just normal for a gambling site owner for him to do.
8809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you estimate the value increase of bitcoin? on: February 24, 2017, 04:49:48 AM
Bitcoin price is not fixed. The price of bitcoin has a high fluctuating structure.
Can you predict the increase or decrease in bitcoin price?

The bitcoin will continue to grow as a transaction medium and continue to enjoy natural inflation due to its limited supply. I think bitcoin will even reach $10,000 in the near future. We can predict but we can't be guaranteed that will might happen.
Yes,we do can predict what prices do bitcoin have in the future but seems 10k isnt realistic guess at all and its very high to consider. Value of bitcoin does really increase for longer times which is really good for longterm business as long people do adopt it and will spread then expect that movement will surely happen.
8810  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: February 24, 2017, 03:16:26 AM
If we are talking about guessing then its totally random from the word itself but speaking with educated i guess it wont be considered as guessing because you do already have a basis on which coin or what move you will do specially on trading and to other things.

Congratulations to LosDeXibalbaMC for joining the exclusive club of getting 200+ BTC in profit!

Is it accurate that this graph is showing a 7ish btc gain on a single game? If so, what was the stake that game, and what multiplier did he cash out at? No way I have the nerves to ride the timer for however long that took to earn, whether it was a long timer or a huge bet. I felt like a wild man the few times I let the timer get past 2.5x (but I'm also really risk averse). Bets like this intrigue me.

https://www.bustabit.com/game/3680216

Damn man. Basically a $1000 bet and letting it ride that long. Can't really imagine the nerves that would have taken. Told perhaps if he's used to betting that much at a time, you get desensitized to it after awhile, so maybe it's not quite what I imagine it to be. But when you're up that high on the multiplayer, you're basically sitting with a $1000 bet and looking at odds of about, what, 12ish percent success? The thing that always gets me is the opportunity cost of not cashing out. It's one thing to roll dice and say "I know going into this bet that I have a 10% chance of winning but the payout will be 10x if I hit. It's an immediate calculation. With this, you can have he same mindset going in, but then you watch the multiplayer pass 6x, 7x, 8x... and you're already in rare territory, and every second you choose not to cash out, you're re-risking what you could have already locked in as a gain. It's why I rarely make it past 2.5x. I just over think it.

I agree with you. You need balls of steel to hold on for that long. I just can't do that I rarely ever go over 2x I pull out earlier. Even going past 25% tests my nerves. This guys just lays down $1000 like it was nothing. It also amaes me how some people ride for so long and dont cash out lots just silly and greedy. Like at 25x you would think the guy was happy but nope. Imagine riding with $1000 up into the 100s. Damn !
25x thats insane and you would really need titanium balls in order to hold that for that long and same as yours even on 25% gain per run is already enough for me and the max payout or multiplier would be only 2x or 2.5 but for 25x then its impossible and i cant afford to put that amounts on a single run.
8813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: February 22, 2017, 09:31:23 AM
I would always prefer Google search and YouTube to learn anything, this could provide masterly information to learn it quickly. In that prospects you can learn btc investments using various videos on YouTube. You could the below video which can help about btc investments.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x0hADSSlUUU
It is a good idea to diversify the sources from which you take information, like Google, YouTube and even this forum which I found really helpful when it comes to learning things about bitcoin investments and other stuff, the point is to keep looking until you have a clear idea on what you are doing so you don’t make false decisions.
Search everything in google as it will give you a more complete information, you'll have your interest in investing as it is not good to do different investment, do what interest you so it would be easy for you to comprehend and you can devote your time without feeling the boredom of reading or researching. This forum will help you a lot if you know have a first hand knowledge before you enter here, you can get different opinion, ideas, and advises from successful people here based on their real experience.
True, this is the main thing why this forum does really make a great help since you could possibly based or hear about past experiences of people on regarding on an investment. Google does have it all speaking of investment but most of them are on this forum when we are talking crypto related investments.
This is really the best place when we are seeking for important informations related to bitcoin and other coin because this forum have all the informations we do need in able to learn.Internet is so vast and just use search engines if you are still confused to made any decision.
8814  Economy / Gambling / Re: virtual horse raceing interest ? on: February 21, 2017, 03:20:22 PM
The only place I know thst does this is yobit and they habe a massive player base since they an exchange. I still think you should pursue this as it is something s little different from most gambling/betting sites. You will habe to prove thst the code for the virtual horses cannot be manipulated though. Also its not like real horse racing where some horses you know will do well because of their past race history. I dont think it would work with virtual horse racing as they would need AI. But if its always random then its ok.
Yes yobit does really have this game and that horse racing is very basic regarding on the graphics that have been used but still its a hit and been played by most users of yobit site. You are right this thing should really be pursue since it would be a big hit when people finds out about the fairness of each race or to the horses itself.
8815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Movie on: February 21, 2017, 02:23:53 PM
ocean eleven is the best for me. If ever One piece Gold is on choices, i will choose it too. Ocean eleven, twelve, 13 are the best series of gambling movie
I have choses Ocean eleven series and so on same as other members been chose here. Its the best gambling movie ive ever seen and i cant forget that nice movie.
never heard about that movie before , would check it out later sounds like interesting. i have watched the gambler (2014) starred by Mark Wahlberg , really love the last scene of that movie , he have a lot of debt but then decide to make a real 'gambling' by stake everything they have on black , fortunately he won it and just pay all the debt with his winning in the roulette game, you guys might want to add it to the list?
Yes ive seen this movie too and it really thrills me off when does he tend to bet all or stake everything on that black even i myself couldnt able to dare such action but well its a movie its scripted but based on real life story. Thats a lucky day after all and this movie should be add on the list.

8817  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 21, 2017, 12:56:37 PM
Wow just saw bitdice's increased max win, it's over 100 btc now! looks like a lot of folks have invested into bitdice's bankroll.

Business is booming for Bitdice.  Congrats to Alex and his crew.  I hope they have a more prosperous year this 2017 and they get to expand their business to offer more games.  Player vs player games will be excellent if they do decide to have it.  I still vote for Yatzy to be on the site.  It's one of the most fun dice games I have ever played since I first started gambling.  You can read more about it here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yatzy
Reading on the link it is really an interesting game and bitdice company should put this one on the site which really attracts more potential players on their site. I agree on what you have said Bitdice business is booming now because we could able to see those indications clearly and they do really deserve this and hope to continue all over the years.
That gives us some kind of fulfillment on our part as well since we also made effort to support by promoting BitDice. I'm pretty sure the success will continue as bitcoin is getting more popular too, with the nice promotion and good support, it will make people stay and always satisfied with the entertain they are getting.
You are right together with the success or progress of bitdice it does really feel the fulfillment same as you said because we do promote this site thats why we would really be glad when bitdice climb gradually to the top together with top gambling sites as of now.

well agree with but bitdice should do some another strategy to know more just like primedice do where they where giving some huge giveaways and by the help of that they gain success and became well known site for such a long time, but anyways there's no one here can question on how can bitdice go since the approach of people at this point is an A+ and surely many people will try to play at this site with at ease.
I think there would be no problem for bitdice speaking on promotion and giveaways since they do really have the capability on giving those things to public and for now lets just wait for the sites progress and if they have good results they will surely make some extraordinary giveaways that would give good attraction even more to the site.
8818  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: February 21, 2017, 12:04:08 PM
Hello every one.I have just bought 0.5 btc to do some investement but i am not able to find any good place to invest them.
Should i invest in cloud mining sites like genesis-mining,hashnest or hashflare.Or there are other options as well to invest my 0.5 btc where i can get some profit after some time.I have invested 0.05btc so far in hashflare out of those, now 0.45 btc left. Please tell me any trusted and good place to invest on.

Never try any cloud mining, they are many ponzi scams, we need to know this is consensus. i think you should hold bitcoin, or invest altcoins in poloniex exchange.

I think you can not just suggest him to trading because he seems new in bitcoin world and don't know anything about trading. He potentially lose his 0.5 btc. Indeed trading can said including as one of invest way but trading is not easy job. I am not in your side in this point dude. But when he strong determination to learn it is not take too long time to understand mechanism of trading but need relative time to become experienced analysis the fluctuations.
Agree, engaging on trading isnt easy at all specially when you are a newbie and its really easy to suggest to someone about it since earning on trading is really possible if you are knowledgeable on it but hearing or doing it for the first time would surely burn out that 0.5 btc so easily because without proper knowledge on anything will really be a big problem instead.

8820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BitCoin Cause on: February 20, 2017, 08:34:00 AM
So I saw many threads on will bitcoin be used by common people or when it will be used by all over the world and for buying groceries etc.
But I wonder, was bitcoin actually meant to be used like that? What was the actual cause for creating bitcoin? And for whom it was meant to be?
Any facts or thoughts?
If you would able to read the whitepaper of bitcoin you will definitely answer your own question which is bitcoin being created for making peer to peer transactions without any 3rd party involved.Which means this could really be used by anybody.
I agree on this one because i am able to read the whitepaper of bitcoin on which satoshi wrote about bitcoins creation and speaking of this one people would definitely use it and as we saw on the progress of bitcoins usage it extent to the points on where its already being used on many services.
