901  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why is primedice restricted in some countries? on: January 04, 2016, 09:50:17 AM
Hey guys, I've heard alot of good things about primedice and how it has a great community and interface.

I've always wanted to bet there, but for some reason primedice restricts players from using their site in my country, Australia. Why is this?

Also, is it restricted in any other countries?

It is a common practice because they want to follow the law. Sites that dont restrict access have a higher chance of being looked closer at by the the authorities. Many sites have restrictions in place that forbid specific countries from playing there.
The usual solution is VPS or a VPN as suggested.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: nice gambling hack on: January 03, 2016, 08:47:29 PM
This brings up two possibilities. The first one is that the OP really thinks it is a "Hack", if that is the case then he must be one of those people who see a tin can rolling down the street and believe they have invented the wheel. The more obvious one is as pointed out that OP is trying to lure in some noobs to be his referrals.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BARR] The Only Cryptocurrency Earned by Burning Multiple Altcoins on: January 03, 2016, 05:33:38 PM
I was thinking about joining some of the burns but i decided not to as the whole process of converting the coins is unnecessarily difficult. I am pretty sure there would be a lot more users if the whole process would be simplified. This is how i see it as a bystander and as someone who wanted to join.
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: January 03, 2016, 04:35:51 PM
Max payout is now upped to 30 coins per roll. Will probably be increased again in the near future.

Thanks for a great year! We just finalized another Primedice redesign and have a casino on the way. 2016 will be our most dominant year yet!

Thank you for a really nice year also PD! I think it is a smart move to push the max profit up again, the 20 BTC max profit seemed a bit low for higher rollers as it capped the way they play hard. It wont have a big benefit for me but i'm sure many highrollers will be happy about this change. I got a feeling we will see 40 BTC soon again Tongue
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ PandaCoin [PND] ★★★ New devs, old community ★ No more locked threads on: January 03, 2016, 04:29:53 PM
hello i want to sell 6 million PND,  anyone want to buy? pm me if u interest

Better hold it and wait for summer swap Wink

Your PND bag can reach 10x value

Right now it really seems to be the best option to just hold and stake what you have as it is pretty tricky to get a good price for your PND. I really hope the swap that is coming brings something new to the table and lets the price take off. It is pretty hard to say what is needed tho as there is a coin for everything lol.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: January 03, 2016, 04:16:48 PM
I usually come back to have a chat with a few friends who tend to gamble a lot more than i do. I also "come back" to have a look how my investments on different sites are doing. I only gamble for fun from time to time and i expect to loose so i wouldnt say its an addiction that keeps bringing me back.

Big dump on trex maybe will break 300sat

These have been really quiet times so im not really surprised that someone is looking to exit the market. No real info (the holidays are not helping as they add to the downtime) combined with the recent attacks on the network and the coin leave a lot of doubt in the minds of the users.

910  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BETA] BidPot.XYZ - Penny Auction + Gambling | Powered By MoneyPot on: January 02, 2016, 02:30:24 PM
Hey guys, I'd like to invite you to help test out my new MoneyPot app:

BidPot.XYZ

How to play:

  • Each round begins with 20 minutes on the clock and a Pot(calculated as a percentage of the site's bankroll)
  • The goal of the game is to be the last player to bid when the clock counts down to 0. The last player to bid is the winner and the entire Pot is awarded to him

Rules:

  • If the remaining timer is more than 60 seconds, every bid increases the timer by 20 seconds and the max timer is 20 minutes.
  • If the remaining timer is less than 60 seconds, only 10 seconds is added to the timer and the max timer is 60 seconds for every new bid.
  • If the remaining timer is less than 10 seconds, the timer will be set to 10 seconds for every new bid.
  • You can only place a new bid if you are not the last bidder.
  • The bidding price is always 1% of the total Pot.
  • Every new bid increases the total Pot after deducting the site fees(which increases as time pass).

Please report any bug or issues in this thread. Thanks

Disclaimer: This site is in beta. While the wallet is secured by MoneyPot, please only deposit and play with the amount you are comfortable risking.

Its a interesting idea and i will surely give it a shot. When i saw something like this on the Fokler website i thought why havent we seen any other sites offering this type of a "game". Really nice to see that finally we got another option, ill play a bit and let you know how i feel about it.
911  Economy / Gambling / Re: powerstars- site was hacked on: January 02, 2016, 10:33:26 AM
someone hacked site

stolen funds? data lost? match rigged?

neither. op just ran away with the users money(if there's any)  and claims his/her site was hacked.  a typical scammer move Grin nothing to see here. move on.

That is the most likely move indeed. It tends to happen a lot, as soon as the scammers see enough money is deposited into the site hey either just leave or then claim that a hack has happened. A real hack is very rare but they do happen.
If there was a hack he would have said a bit more than "Guys we got hacked".

Hi guys,

I just won your weekly 1BTC freeroll and submitted a withdraw. Which is great opportunity. Thanks!

Money from the freeroll was available for withdraw and now I have Pending Cashout. Then I connected to your support with a simple question about how long it takes to proceed the cashout. And your guy Marc lost 30 minutes of my life in inadequate 3 word liners after waiting 5 minutes for every of it. Finally told me that there is some betting requirement for withdraw?? I've never read anywhere such a thing. And if there is any  why it's not written? And why the money are directly available for withdraw. They are not a bonus money:

Here is chat:

Quote

Chat transcript from 01/02/2016
Genata (06:04:09): Hello,
Marc (06:04:29): Hi! Marc here how may i help you?
Genata (06:04:43): I'm just curious what is your standard withdraw processing time?
Genata (06:05:10): i won the weekly freeroll Cheesy nd submitted withdraw
Genata (06:06:26): Marc, are you still here?
Marc (06:08:54): It depends
Genata (06:09:53): From what? You are not giving me much information Smiley
Marc (06:10:54): for a sec
Marc (06:15:30): You need to wait until all of the deposits in your account have reached at least 3 confirmations, and in some cases, more, before a cash out can be processed.

Instant withdrawal requires VIP level Gold or above, and is limited on a per-day, and per-month based on your VIP status and our systems' internal heuristics security algorithms. Exceptions can be made to your withdrawal limits; please contact us if you have any questions.
Marc (06:15:48): this for the regular withdrawal process
Genata (06:16:27): Ok, but I don't have any deposits Smiley I just won a your weekly freeroll.
Genata (06:16:50): So now I will just wait? or i should do something?
Marc (06:18:48): there are certain requirement for the free roll
Genata (06:19:40): ?? never read such think. I will ask in bitcointalk directly. You are not giving me any mean full info.
Genata (06:19:52): and are writing line per line.
Marc (06:23:22): for a sec sir
Genata (06:29:42): Marc, we are chatting from 24 minutes for 10 words from you...
Marc (06:30:33): I'm sorry to keep you waiting sir
Marc (06:33:53): sir
Marc (06:34:12): you need yo play the freeroll
Genata (06:34:34): 30 minutes for nothing, ok. i'm closing this pointless chat and going to ask at [Suspicious link removed] topic somebody will know what is he doing.
Genata (06:34:56): SOrry to use this word, but this chat is like for retards.
Marc (06:34:59): you need to play the freeroll sir
Marc (06:35:10): it's not withdrawal
Genata (06:35:14): I PLAYED, I WON and just have Pending cahsout.
Marc (06:35:56): It can't be withdrawn only by betting it and win that's the only time you can withdraw it

There is nothing wrong about asking a support member when it will be processed. What really baffles me is that the support doesn't know anything about how their own systems work. I know the support is most likely outsourced to some third party provider but they should still at least understand what they are doing.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ PandaCoin [PND] ★★★ New devs, old community ★ No more locked threads on: January 01, 2016, 01:59:46 PM
What could actually be a nice thing to promote would be a Panda gambling site. Lets say it has like Dice, BJ and maybe a few other games. The kicker would be that the Bankroll is owned either by the dev team or made by a community donation.
The bankroll would never be touched (meaning noone could withdraw from it unless you win from the site). So if the player looses it would stay there till someone wins. This means an estimated 1-2% of the wagered would effectively be "burned". It would in theory help to reduce the coins in circulation a bit. Maybe not even let it stake to further decrease the coins added by year ?
HE could be a bit over the 1% we got as standard now, maybe 2% ? Maybe add some other perks to it also to increase player amount.

Just an idea, not sure what people would think bout it.

Your idea has merit, but let me just say: I do not think a coin should be linked to any kind of gambling. For a lot of countries, that is totally illegal. And, if we want to hit the big time, we need to be accepted all over the world for everything under the sun that is legal, has credibility, is widely used, etc. Gambling is just too fraught with regulations, the gaming industry, big money, droves of lawyers, etc. Not knocking you at all. It takes this type of brainstorming to get places, though. Thanks.

Yes that is for certain. It was just an idea that could work at some point once everything is up and running. But as say'd first we need to know what is going on and who is actually behind this new coin and move in general. I really hope this goes well and their motives and clear and they focus on bringing the Panda back to life!

915  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com LAUNCHED | Fast Rolls | Fast Deposits | Fast Wins |Daily Happy Hour on: December 31, 2015, 09:47:40 AM
The number of rolls seems to really be flying past! And it looks like the site is handling this amount of bets pretty well also, no big drops in bet speed so all seems to be working well. Are you guys also thinking about doing some milestone giveaways ? For example the one who rolls 500mil bet.

At the rate we are going the 500M bet will be some time early February so that could be fun. How about 500k to whoever hits 500M?

Sounds good enough. Often the competition itself is more important than a huge prize, just to get people involved more. The bounties and tricks added can increase as the site matures Smiley
Sidenote: If you guys ever plan to do achievments, then achievements such as "Achieved the 100mil roll" or something like that could be very fun
916  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does any btc sportsbook implement live stream feature? on: December 31, 2015, 09:39:32 AM
It would be really nice if a site had it. It should also have a trollbox next to it, so that the users could speak to each other about the game. I think it would make the "feel" of the bet much better, something like a real bookies lol. And i do not think it would slow the site down as much, and obtaining rights to stream are not that expensive.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CSC] ♠ CasinoCoin v2.0 ♥ New Wallet ♦ 2+ Years Old ♣ on: December 31, 2015, 09:16:39 AM
Paycoin was extremely overpriced and for no reason, CSC still very cheap in my opinion and not everyone looks at the updates here.

Could be someone that mined a lot 1+ years ago when price and difficulty were low and thinks its a good price to sell

Maybe.... but:

I lived well, out the fraud of GAW and Mr. Josh ...

and I remember that at the time, while some waited to paycoin reach the promised value, others were doing consecutive dumps ...

I'm not saying that's what going on here ... but I'm also not saying that is not ...

I'm just careful and nervous, with these dumps...

With Paycoin that was a bit different, my understanding is that GAW promised buying those coins at $20 or similar. With CSC nobody is promising to buy your coins for $1. Why would they have to? Many in this community have been willing to hand them over for less than $0.04 each. Huge difference there.

The rest is all my opinion, but this is why I buy and hold CSC:

To me I figure that $1 is a short term target that gets the market cap up and running enough to make it worth while for the first 16 casinos to use the program. Obviously, the longer term targets for the price of CSC are a lot higher than $1. Also I think it's important to say that I believe that this isn't some scheme where when it goes to $1 that everybody with huge amounts will sell and runs away. I believe that the casinos want to use this for the next decade at least to open up the US gambling markets and bring some of the advantages of crypto to fiat online gambling. So the prospects for early holders are quite good.

Fiat online gambling is a $41.4b/year industry with no crypto included in that total. Most of these casinos want to avoid BTC because it's too damn slow, eliminating the potential for funding impulse gambling. The branding is not gambling focussed. It's also too difficult for the average person to use directly. Show me one other crypto that has a $41.4b industry established and ready to go for a niche altcoin to capture. It's nuts. Maybe ecommerce comes close, but they have more than adequate payment options that currently exist that enables them to meet the majority of their potential customer base. Online gambling has a potential customer base much larger than their current customer base and they have been looking actively for funding solutions for the past 10 years to help them expand to meet their potential. This very well could be a perfect storm for CSC brewing. Unfortunately, I think we're going to see a repeat of people getting upset after being left behind just like when many sold all their BTC at $7 only to see it run up to $1150 over the following 18 months.

For me, I purchased most of my CSC using proceeds from mining for two years and also with BTC that I purchased with USD. I think i maybe put $3600 in all in all for 3m coins. From the beginning, I considered this a tail risk investment. It was either going to be worth $0 or some astronomical amount. No way I'm selling any time soon. OMG - Everyday I'm amazed at how cheap some people will let these coins go for. $0.02 - 0.04, amazing.

Again, just my opinion. I'm not trying to give anyone any advice here. i could be a complete nutter for all you know. hehe

The reason why people are letting them go for these prices is because they have heard the exact same thing for years and years and not once has it happened with thousands of coins. If people get shat on so many times and see how it goes for others as well, then ofc they will be hesitant to get in or hold. Right now we have only words, once something actually happens, then they will most likely re-look their positions.
918  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betcoin.tm is a scam site , cleared my account to 0, 2.88 BTC lost on: December 30, 2015, 02:36:26 PM
I asked for a withdrawal 4 days ago.  (1 BTC)   ( Earlier I rejected all the bullshit bonus.)
I posted about it 3 times in betcoin.tm topic.   (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1283187.msg13371342#msg13371342 )
Yesterday betcoin.tm claimed in there topic that there was no pending withdrawal in their queue.
I checked my account and saw that my withdrawal was cancelled, so i tried to make another one, but the system did not work, when i clicked on the withdrawal button nothing happened.
I posted this new issue in betcoin.tm topic that the withdrawals did not work.   (no answer)
Some hour later i checked my account again and my balance was cleared to 0. (from 2.88 BTC)
I posted this 3.rd issue in their topic.  (no answer)
Later i contacted them via live chat but the agent could not say anything, just forwarding my issue. ( nothing happened)
Today i contacted them via online form.   (no answer)

I suggest you not to play at betcoin.tm.      They are from Greece.   They use the same odds provider as bet8.gr .

Cleared account balance:

Bet list:

Transaction history:  (Earlier i cound not find it, and asked 3 times in betcoin.tm topic where the transaction list is, but i got no answer)

This is not the first time i say not to play at a bookmaker.

bitcoinlivebets.com stealing all my winnings 30 BTC   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300044.0
They of course disappeared some months later as i predicted.

Betvip also disappeared ,also predicted    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=516644.msg11627924#msg11627924

My next prediction is that betcoin.tm will be the next.

I saw a lot of post that their withdrawals went through .  But all those withdrawals are in the joke category: 0.0X   or 0.1X  BTC

i will attach the live chat conversation too.

Will be interesting to see how this all works out in the end and if they do pay you or not. They have become a lot more active lately with their promotions on the forums and have been paying out smaller amounts (including the freerolls for poker).
Waiting for a replay from betcoin, see what he has to say.
919  Economy / Gambling / Re: Worst/Best Betting Mistake Made By You? on: December 30, 2015, 12:53:20 PM
Hey guys, id just like to know what all of our worst ever betting mistakes are. Mine personally was not very big, but was a huge affect on me as a bitcoin newbie, as I only had 0.1. I went to bet that 0.1 on Magicaldice, but instead of gambling 0.1 on a 90% soon chance, I bet the same on a 9% win chance.

Surprisingly, I won. I had gathered that 0.1 from faucets and gambling on freebitco.in. (even with their 5% house edge)

I have had quite a few bad mistakes but nothing that would really be noteworthy. I do however have a pretty nice "mistake" story. I went to play on BitDice and swapped myself like 5 LTC, also had around 0.7 BTC. I thought i had swapped the currency to LTC, made 4 bets on 50% and won 3/4. When i looked at the loosing bet i realized i was betting BTC. It ended well tho as i won the 3 bets and got 1.5BTC in profit.
That was pretty fun! But i always triple check now.
