901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 06, 2015, 10:54:56 PM
In about 6 days, 6 hours and 6 minutes blood will flow through the streets.
These times gentlemen, are very critical for the future of bitcoin and any other cryptocoin.
I'm finally making some profit. That means more coins, fuck it when they become worthless shit. I can say I was there,.... and be poor and broke...

My bearish scenario also says THE bottom in 6 - 7 days, according to the speed of the latest events, but it's a moving target.
And the bearish scenario requires (for start) some dumps during the next hours.
Need to start dumping within minutes. Cannot go higher than 292. Otherwise we're (I am) fucked. Grin
At least there is already a nice fake wall Smiley

903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did we finally reach the bottom? on: January 06, 2015, 10:29:35 PM
No. Just plain and simple.
Don't want to explain, but I'm sure I'm right. Grin
904  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 06, 2015, 08:00:16 PM

As every hour ticks by more and more bad shit seems to be creeping into this story.

Question is...what's the collateral damage going to look like?

There's a new statement from Bitstamp here.

https://www.bitstamp.net/

"An important message to our customers:

January 6, 2015, 12:34am UTC: We have temporarily suspended Bitstamp services. Bitstamp customers can rest assured that their bitcoins held with us prior to temporary suspension of services on January 5th (at 9am UTC) are completely safe and will be honored in full.

On January 4th, some of Bitstamp’s operational wallets were compromised, resulting in a loss of less than 19,000 BTC. Upon learning of the breach, we immediately notified all customers that they should no longer make deposits to previously issued bitcoin deposit addresses. To repeat, customers should NOT make any deposits to previously issued bitcoin deposit addresses. As an additional security measure, we suspended our systems while we fully investigate the incident and actively engage with law enforcement officials.

This breach represents a small fraction of Bitstamp’s total bitcoin reserves, the overwhelming majority of which are held in secure offline cold storage systems. We would like to reassure all Bitstamp customers that their balances held prior to our temporary suspension of services will not be affected and will be honored in full.

We appreciate customers’ patience during this disruption of services. We are working to transfer a secure backup of the Bitstamp site onto a new safe environment and will be bringing this online in the coming days. Customers can stay informed via updates on our website, on Twitter (@Bitstamp) and through Bitstamp customer support at support@bitstamp.net.

Sounds like bitcoin24 story 1,5 years ago.
I was trapped over there but was lucky to have everything in bitcoin on the exchange. After a few weeks I could withdraw. People in fiat are still waiting for their cash...
906  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWisdom.com - Live Bitcoin/LiteCoin Charts on: January 06, 2015, 01:00:31 AM
I would like the DMI indicator line colors to be different in the light theme.
Now it is very hard to distinguish the lines since green is used twice:

You could make it for example:

The blue being used above has html value 1241ff
The color is changed now. The blue line was skipped for the color is similar with 'Line Style' before.

Great! Many thanks!
I use the indicator all the time Grin
907  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWisdom.com - Live Bitcoin/LiteCoin Charts on: January 06, 2015, 12:59:41 AM
It would nice to have an ingnore checkbox on the first page to turn off all shitcoins so that they don't annoy anymore.
There is still a big pile of rubbish on that list, for example primecoin.
908  Other / Off-topic / Re: Riemann hypothesis - Proof on: January 06, 2015, 12:50:33 AM
didnt read yet, but if its correct the author will get atleast a million $ for it Cheesy

Wow, expect the bitcoin price to jump!
I would exchange all fiat for BTC right now Smiley
909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 06, 2015, 12:49:38 AM
I really doubt Stamp has to resort to market buys to get that BTC. They probably can buy it in bulk from one of their partners. 19K is a lot, but not a crazy amount either.

I really wonder why you would put 19k in a hot wallet. Even when you have to transfer them to clients.
19k live ammo is a bit high.

I would have kept much better safety with those coins.
910  Other / Off-topic / Re: Riemann hypothesis - Proof on: January 06, 2015, 12:29:06 AM

So what's your point?
Just dump some random off topic data in this forum?
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 05, 2015, 10:28:37 PM
do you think it is better to change in ripple/altcoins?

They are dying faster than Bitcoin. If Bitcoin has no value then the altcoins definitely has no value.

Selling your BTC at a huge loss for centralised ripple really is the only logical conclusion right now. 9/10 ponzi's would agree.

Fundamentals don't matter in a speculative market. They just don't. If anything I am impressed that ripple stayed strong while bitcoin continues to plummet.

It is ridiculous that somebody calls bitcoin decentralized while pointing fingers at XRP. Just insane.

Yes, cripple is doing much much better than bitcoin, haha, good one Grin
You know every crypto will die when bitcoin dies don't you?
912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Automated posting on: January 05, 2015, 09:27:27 PM
I don't give a sh#@$t about Bitstamp, but I would prefer that their implosion doesn't send Bitcoin further down the drain.

Why not? Cheap coins Grin Grin
I mean, bitcoin won't die does it? Please,... tell me it won't die.
please
please
please!

Wink
913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Automated posting on: January 05, 2015, 09:18:54 PM

Stamp needs to get online and give us some numbers soon, or this mofo is going to sink like an anvil.

I'm very happy to only have 0,07 BTC over there which I received for trading some worthless shit ripple I once got in the past for beta testing.
Since I had to verify I went to finex, fuck that shit.
I'm happy to trade on finex and btc-e

Never lost a coin on any exchange other than making mistakes with trading Smiley
Overall profit ofcourse
914  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinfire Bitstamp update on: January 05, 2015, 09:13:15 PM
Bitstamp covering all the losses is not going to be enough. Traders are still going to withdraw all their coins. Bitstamp will have to find out where the leak is and fix it. Once they fixed it, perform a full system audit, confidence can return.

I said above. these things will takes months and BitStamp won't afford(because they don't want to lose any cent) to cover the losses and to keep the company expenses.

Bitstamp credibility is zero at this point. No update since 12 hours ago. They didn't understand that they are playing with people's money not with bricks.

Their customers must ask the money back by bank wire. Their bank account is STILL functional.
Almost all their BTC must be backed in real money, right?
I would ask the money today not tomorrow.

Must be trolling or new.
Grin Grin good one! (real money)

Just relax, everything is going to be all fine...
915  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinfire Bitstamp update on: January 05, 2015, 09:05:54 PM
Calm the fuck down everyone.
Ofcourse it is very sad you are not able to trade, however, your coins are safe.
I hope you are able to trade before the bottom.

Bitstamp will prove that this market is robust after the mtgox drama
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 05, 2015, 12:45:10 AM
Bitcoin will crash down and make a new all time recent low.

I have said "$254 and $233" are the two bouncing points, in DGB thread and now $257 (Ref: CMC) we have seen and bounced back from then... Now time for $233....
But it does not really look good to me... Lets see... but staying in BTC is a bit too risky, best to stay in Dollars or any other altcoin you believe in.

I have chosen mine, DigiByte is one of the safer coins at this very moment. Good Luck peeps.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Grin Grin
Good one.
Made me LMAO. Especially the alt nonsense.
917  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: would you buy a marked quantum scifi bitcoin for above par? on: January 04, 2015, 11:18:07 PM
Currencies failed in the past 500 years, yet we still use them. We don't have something better yet so we continue.

The money system is currently centralized which will make it impossible for 'the people' to run the system in their best interest.
Bitcoin is a decentralized money system which finally makes it possible for people to choose with their money without an authority can change the rules (like printing and stuff).
So we have something better to continue, we only have to chose.

I also say "money system" because money and currencies are two different things.

In my perspective, money equals (stored)energy.

Will get margin called at 235.

Should I deposit more BTC and risk losing them too, or just let it be and hope for the best?

I expect the bottom to be between $200-$240. If you're feeling lucky....

Is it 10x leverage on okcoin?

I agree, my target is at 220.
But don't catch a falling knife.
Wait till it recovers.

Besides, Fontas told me he is going to pump it to 280 in about 6 hours.

Fontas is actually still existing ?!?  LOL Grin Grin Grin  I remember when he was doing his legandary pumps  Grin Grin

Ofcourse it exist. Fontas is the bitcoin ghost, announcing the trend right into our 3rd eye so that we are prepared to trade on it.

I dont know about the linux environment compatibility but HitBTC uses Tradingview, I dont know if this might help you but check it out.
I'll look into that, thanks for the suggestion.
I have started using highcharts but it's free for non commercial use, it's very nice

Thanks! Good suggestion. This really looks very good.
