Ok, I want to give my thoughts on the TOR stick/wallet card... I am an Investment Professional for the past 27 years and was very unsure of cryptocurrency. I recently bought into a few coins with XC getting most of my attention. Why? They understand that it has to be easy and explainable to the mainsteam to get a larger base and market. Most of this forum is computer junkies. I don't know how to code, barely know what an xnode is, but also believe the coin that can bring themselves the masses will prevail. I think it is very valuable for us that travel, or work with secure computers that feel it is not in their best interest to be on certain sites at their work or on the road, to have this tool. This tool makes it easy for me to log on annonymously and securely and hold my wallet and coins securely. This may be simple for those of you who eat and breathe this, but for me, it will make my life much easier and give me the feeling of another security level with easier access. It is also valuable to share with other non-techy investors who may invest if they knew and easy trustworthy way to log on and secure their wallet. It is like someone mechanically inclined who can't believe someone pays $75 to have a synthetic oil change when it takes them 10 minutes and $20 for oil and a filter...

I am a quiet investor of XC and feel the need to address the community.
This latest update is very upsetting to myself and some other investors I know who have invested in this coin. There is no direction to this coin and it feels so "rushed" with constant announcements which are
a) very poor in communication (See below) b) do not provide any real world technical information or value add c) add confusion to investors, I still have no idea about CACHe coin??? or REV2???
Why on earth do we need a TOR stick, anyone with a bit of time can put together a USB stick with an OS and a wallet??? Many people already run this through TOR with other software? This does not add value, it just confuses people. What happened to REV 2, this is now lost? Hows about you fix up the website FIRST???
The announcement "XC is the current market leader in decentralised private cryptographic transactions" - you shouldn't be stating this unless you have facts, technical information or professional vetting to back this up. Yes XC is trying to break into the anonymity market but dont make it something its not. This screams scam coin to most people.
". And of course it is private, very private" - again making claims like this without a single technical comment or overview of how this works is very concerning. The majority of posts in this thread is price and moon talk and the announcements always just try to sound great without giving any information away. Where is the community technical discussion to confirm how anything works?
Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but I am selling, and will continue to sell until this coin has direction, a solid development plan and not more announcements.
I once had hope but feel as though I should just sell the remainder out now and take a small hit rather than keep being frustrated by announcement after announcement, rushing and poor quality.
I'm not going to comment on the fact that your account is brand new but I'm just pointing it out. However, I will address your point. First, a lot of people are actually quite happy about this because they understand that's its an extra layer of privacy. I would also say that it was well communicated but I could be wrong that this was . Second, sure you could do this yourself but non technical people, won't be bothered to set everything up, they want a plug and play product. "The road map will be available tomorrow with the release schedule for REV2". Hopefully, all of these issues will be addressed by this road map that is coming out tomorrow! Also we have a forum with dedicated discussion for technical apsects , community creation etc. |

maybe its progess for u because u found out about TOR a few days ago. for me its not. i can install tor my self on my pc, i dont need some stupid usb to do it for me. and no, im not going to insert that usb in a laptop or in any device that is not mine, never!! for the simple reason i can lose all my coins the moment i open my wallet ToR? is that not the super hero guy with the hammer ? how he make you loose coins ? A pdf looks always a bit scammy. Any chance that we can have a youtube video which shows this stick in action?
We are established enough to a point where we don't have to do this kind of thing. Secondly, The iso will soon be available for download so you can test yourself. |

very nice, an iso based on debian or some other linux distro to boot directly from the usb stick would also be a nice feature - the iso could also include the blockchain to shorten time one needs to sync with the network, a 32gb stick should be fine to store everything. together with tor this would leave no traces on the pc/network and keyloggers and trojans are a problem of yesterday  This a linux based distro, and it boots directly from the USB stick, and it will have the blockchain on it very nice, thanks for the info Actually an 8GB stick would be more than fine. |

TOR sticks should be FREE with proof of XC ownership. This would help mass adoption. Or you should only charge the cost of production / delivery etc.
so what buy some XC.. get free stick.. dump XC... profit ? Yes that's one of the concerns since they aren't locked so you could put anything on them. Sorry but that's very unlikely as much as we would love do it. |

For those wondering what ATCsecure is up to and haven't read the update I posted yesterday evening, here it is: We'll be unveiling XC's development timeline before long. Stay tuned.
For now, it's worth my mentioning that nothing is behind schedule, and that there are actually some new features on the roadmap. Aside from this, we're pooling our thoughts and getting creative about the website, user guides, the order in which to implement various parts of XC's technology, and of course the connections made at the conference. All is looking very, very cool right now.
Additionally there's a *possibility* (though a high one) that we'll be ready to release the latest tech update this afternoon. Await confirmation. It's novel, and pretty exciting. Looking forward to this! I've never been one to care for over-hyping announcements. So if you are using words like "novel" and "pretty exciting", please make sure it really is. I would rather be surprised than disappointed. Thanks. It's a cool part of xc that could really help with the privacy aspect for people on the go. I hope that helps. |

when will Atcsecure release infos from the conference? it's allready wednesday and no post of atcsecure by now ...
You can make a lot of new contacts & ideas on a conference, but afterwards you need time to formalize before telling about it in public. If he starts talking about people, groups or whatever without that second step this thread will turn into FUD heaven within minutes. He is not on our payroll, friday there is an AMA. Lets wait a couple of days and see what Teka has to say The problem is that the amount of people they spoke to is extremely vast. Also they didn't always talk business so it's sometimes just interacting with people to show that you're here to stay and make some connections. Another thing is that, we can't reveal all the info incase some people want to stay anonymous or they have projects that they went to keep quiet for now.
