901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet AFCON prediction pool discussion thread on: February 02, 2022, 08:41:34 AM
interesting development here, all are in for Burkina Faso support
I supported them in last round, but here I do not think they have any chance against Senegal

good luck to all, I will stick with Senegal to qualify for final, because I am somehow sure they will, but not sure how they will do that, probably in regular time, but extra time or penalties are good as well

Indeed,,, good luck to them all but I also believe in Senegal this time. They finally scored 3 goals in the last game and I think Burkina Faso because they actually play attacking this makes it easier for teams like Senegal to score against them.

The real question for me is, Egypt have not won a game in regular time also seems like because they meet defensive teams but Cameroon is also attacking, could we see a high-goals game? I need Egypt to win this because I accidentally bet all my balance and it lost so have no more money until either few more weeks or Egypt wins Afcon  Grin
902  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: February 02, 2022, 08:04:10 AM
Thank you very much, if it is only for 4, but the function I am saying is so that they can be opened in different tabs of the same browser, and regardless of being in tournaments, they can all be played simultaneously, I had thought about the possibility of this being would make it very difficult because it can slow down, but if this option is taken into account, I think that the best thing is to have an app where data can be transferred and in the same way multiple tabs can be opened, just as it is done in a browser.
Of course this involves more work and development, but it would be great if it can be implemented.

I think this is not a problem of the site but of the provider,,, I could be wrong. But I have definitely opened Evolution Games in different tabs and they all work correctly, just as ryzaadit says but also individually in different tabs. I just tried it right now to even open 3 separate Blackjack tables in 3 tabs all from Evolution Games and they all work. Or are you asking something different?

I do this usually if I am in auto mode on some game like roulette and then also trying blackjack with another.

Bots only make things automatic it does not give anybody edge, and casinos love it as it lets people gamble even when not awake Wink
More the bets then mkre chances for the casino to make revenue, even some casinos has auto bet feature so we can set up the number of rolls and just wait and see how it goes anyway at the end of the day luck decides the fate not with how much money we are betting in practical life.

Exactly! Automation does not at all bring any advantage to either the player or the casino,,, the player can still gamble and as someone mentioned above expose themselves less to variance, while casinos can see higher turnover which of course in long term leads to more revenue. I use auto every single day at Bitvest.
904  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goldman Sachs projection regarding BTC on: February 01, 2022, 12:38:49 PM
Again I remind projection here proves one thing and one thing: price appreciates over time in long term.
Not only Goldman, but a lot of big names have already predicted that bitcoin will achieved $100k price but there are no fixed dates, and until now it remains a prediction. However, Goldman already reveals that the road to $100k for bitcoin will only happen once the investors will see it as a digital gold. Read it here: https://cryptoslate.com/goldman-sachs-reveal-how-bitcoin-can-reach-100k-in-2022/

Still, there's no guaranteed date when will all investors see it as a digital gold.

That was sort of the point I was trying to explain,,, it is not the first projection of 100k, remember we even had people bet on half million and 1 million price in 2016. This is SIX years ago and it did not come true at any one time,,, does not mean if 100 people predict it and 100 supercomputers insist it,,, that it comes sooner.

I guess all of us on forum believe it will happen. Just I feel nobody will be satisfied about the actual timeframe.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Neven's Law: Only a Decade Before Quantum Computers Hack Bitcoin? on: February 01, 2022, 12:05:16 PM
If quantum computers come close,,, and assuming the country or organization that has it is willing to spend all that money just to hack Bitcoin, then they finally succeed. What happens?

Bitcoin reorganizes and then work together to ignore or invalidate all the IP associated with the quantum computer, right? This is my understanding or is it simply the risk that it breaks open people's wallets?
The reorganization needs to be faster though as quantum computers are really fast, and what I mean by fast is that it can do billions of years worth of calculation in a matter of seconds, at least that's the idea behind it. I think there are a few that's already performing at those speed. We don't have to worry too much about it though, quantum computers wouldn't be used for that purposes unless a rogue state like North Korea has it, there's tons of research and development that quantum computing opens and I don't think that it's worth that much to use it on that.

So you think even at a high difficulty they would find blocks quickly? Would it not just be reorganization and then blocking of those IPs to prevent them from every going into the network again? Or as I said,,, is this not even the risk but rather that quantum computers simply break private keys? I still do not think that is ever likely to happen, and it is in a few years time anyway.

I still feel like I do not understand this problem correctly.

Dear Lightlord, so good to see you back. I hope now the nonsense on this thread ends and people realize they were all being dumb.

deposit and try again......very simple Wink

And I thought gambling was about having a good time and, with a bit of luck, winning something.  Grin

No offense, but is it not a bit like using the 24/7 bot that you want something for nothing?  Lips sealed

Btw, I didn't know at all that using bots is tolerated by casinos ..  Roll Eyes

But that seems like what he said, have a good time, and deposit if you want to try and get something. You must be new to dice if you did not know about dicebots Smiley Bots only make things automatic it does not give anybody edge, and casinos love it as it lets people gamble even when not awake Wink

I just played my freebet for Egypt winning the extra time game! 0.25 mbtc freebet on Arsenal Roulette. I put it all on high, hit 30 and won 0.5 so totally now I am 0.4+0.4+0.5 = 1.3 mbtc. Profit is already in, and I still have Egypt bet alive, now all I need is for them to beat Cameroon BUT Cameroon have the top 2 scorers who I am sure one of them will win the Golden Boot.

Very exciting match it seems, worthy even of the final.

@leea: nice going on the freebet! I have 0.75 mbtc cash so far and since Senegal got their win, I should see another freebet today. I have been reckless with them putting all in, but might split my winnings today instead to try and get all 1mbtc back. Let's hope we both get our teams in the final so one of us walks away with the outright win!

That would be perfect for me,,, Salah can beat Mane Wink
910  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - ROAD TO 8,000$ - speculation on: February 01, 2022, 06:53:30 AM
1st of all, wrong subforum, please move to Bitcoin - Speculation.

Second of all,,, if 8000 is a why not question, then why such an arbitrary figure, why not 800? Why not 8 million? I am used to psychological numbers so 1000 and 10000 makes sense but if you really have to ask a question, please provide more explanation for your arrival at this number Wink
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goldman Sachs projection regarding BTC on: January 31, 2022, 01:34:23 PM
Not so much because of increasing price, but the ability to keep a high average of appreciating value I would say,,, I mean, you just have to be a holder to understand that you could even lose value over 2 years more and more, but eventually, if you wait 4 or 5 years or much longer, it is always worth more than the price you paid, which also makes DCA an interesting way to keep ensuring your value/networth keeps growing!
Bitcoin price at $100k is really possible but there are no higher chances that it will happen this year. But, according to Goldman, bitcoin could only reach $100k if it replaces gold as a store of value. I guess its not. Bitcoin is already seen today as the highest store of value than gold and if the adoption of bitcoin could turn into massive, bitcoin could even surpass the price prediction of Goldman.

You should look up Goldman Sachs history they even said about 100k Bitcoin price last year but with a lot of IFs,,, which I would read as a "when". Why? Because all the things like volatility and store of value and mass adoption (all the factors preventing Bitcoin price) are all no longer a matter of if but when.

Again I remind projection here proves one thing and one thing: price appreciates over time in long term.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: January 31, 2022, 12:10:13 PM
in my opinion, this is the only cryptocurrency that will be difficult to regulate, decentralization and anonymity are just about bitcoin, because no one knows the creator, the blockchain also works by itself, unless the owner of the bitcoin wallet himself will not give the private key to the regulator and tell his identity, then it is impossible to regulate it.

Well,,, did they government not decide a few years ago that both Bitcoin and Ethereum were "decentralized" enough to not require regulation? Decentralization is also applicable to Ethereum, just not to the same level of Bitcoin.

Also,,, I do not think Bitcoin ever was anonymous, it was always private, but never anonymous.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet AFCON prediction pool discussion thread on: January 31, 2022, 10:33:56 AM
So very happy to get Egypt win, it seems Sportsbet very kindly gave the freebet from the promo anyway so I guess Extra Time results still count and not regular time, just like Superbru Wink

Made 0.2 chip into 0.4 so now my total is 0.8 mbtc cash, one more win and I believe I can get my money back on Egypt  Grin Is everybody happy with the results?
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: January 31, 2022, 08:55:43 AM
Well since I bet almost every day here I guess the promo is available to me,,, and I can enter and see my predictions so I guess it works for me? $10 right now is only something like 0.25 mbtc so it is not a big problem, but they should maybe just make the promo disappear until you meet requirements so as to not cause confusion?
Like completely disapear if your account is new? Nah I think its better to be up there and its kinda appealing especially to new accounts. Bet atleast $10 and receive up to $50 in free bets, that a great promotions for sure but if you remove it from accounts that isnt eligible for the promotions than some new guy wont even know that about this promotion
Completely agree with arallmuus here. Why make a completely free offer gone if active on your account. Then it shouldn't be a problem.
I think they put this meet these requirements rule in the terms because there might have been a large increase in new accounts created which were just entering into this promo and not wagering anything. So I can see why they would impose this.
That is alot of upkeep just to cull these accounts once seen as inactive and then dumped.

I guess what I mean here is make the Availability to bet disappear not the promo itself (so to avoid confusion). Seems like you misunderstood me rdbase, why on earth would I ever ask for a completely free offer to be gone if you are active? Wink

If the reason you offer is right, then all they need to do is automatically make the promo page display a blocked sign or message saying: wager $10 to access this page. Not having a sign in red to confuse everyone who already wagered. Anyway no big issue for me,,, I can bet on it, I was just suggesting.

I got a nice special win some few days ago too did I mention?

One push and one bust yesterday, not enough for Blackjack, but remember guys, even though Afcon games have low scoring points seemingly, there is also extra time possibility, so 30 extra minutes or roughly 1/3 extra points if you feel the game ends in a draw during regular 90 mins.

Anyway, new game for us today I believe is from Portugal.

916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: January 31, 2022, 06:58:09 AM
some people think that the current market correction is an opportunity to own more good altcoins, but for some others also think that this is a fear. Well, I think the current market conditions are an opportunity for investors to collect a lot of interesting crypto in the market to get big profits later. The point is, don't panic in situations like this

Opportunity is always existent,,, in any market condition, there is opportunity, threat and risk. This is what people seldom remember, thinking that only dips are opportunities, and forget that the risk is actually greater for altcoins to drop even more.

If all you think about is collecting, ask 2017 ICO people how many bags they ended up collecting,,,

919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What engine is CBDC running on? on: January 29, 2022, 10:00:43 AM
Actually,,, I would even say most tokens are not even cryptocurrencies. Just because you issue a token on a blockchain to me only makes it a blockchain asset and not crypto (especially now if you consider that many so called blockchains are not even blockchains).

CBDC is CBDC, blockchain is a technology. You can even make CBDC run on Paypal system if you want.
Finally someone knew where I'm coming from, not all coins are deserved to be called cryptocurrencies, all in the name of utilities many have climbed over the boundary already, blockchain assets and cryptocurrencies are not 100% the same

I heard recently about 5th generation blockchains and wondered to myself where did the 3rd or 4th generation one even go as I never even remembered anyone being the authority to mention all of this  Grin

People just making things up now and using labels as they want. CBDC this and CBDC that. Metaverse CBDC Defi Gamefi 10th gen blockchain,,, might as well  Grin
