9141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gradma knows about bitcoin. on: December 05, 2016, 08:21:28 AM
Pretty funny to watch, but I'm guessing she probably knew Bitcoin from one of her grandkids or something like that.
Or I could be mistaken and she might just be pretty tech-savvy herself. Anyway, it's always cool to see older people who are keeping up with technology.

It nice and fun to watch such video, I remembered someone in tv a grandma who was an addict to dota. It just explains that old people are not old enough to operate computer and surf the web. Well if old people can do bitcoin we younger generations must also be challenged. Older generations are models that we must not stop learning even if we are old.
We do learn things from them since they are older and experienced enough especially on old ways but now in future generations we could say they cant able to comprehend since they only knew the traditional ways that why im quiet shocked and get glad regarding on this news on which a grandma could able to engage into bitcoin which means it isnt really hard to learn bitcoin all.
9142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC @0.004 - whats up on: December 05, 2016, 07:07:27 AM
Some litecoin whale decided to dump a lot litecoin onto the market, all at once.  Someone needed money.  That's bout the only real explanation,  everything else is jist guessing.
Very well said only bagholders or whales could able to dump its price like that. I think this is the end for LTC or just another strategic move and would tend to pump up on the near future. If it doesnt then LTC would remain its place.
9143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Economic Nobel prize for Satoshi Nakamoto on: December 05, 2016, 06:18:55 AM
What would the point be? Satoshi Nakamoto might not be who we think it is. It might be a group of people or even a whole secret agency. We

know who created SHA, why not Bitcoin? Satoshi might be a serial killer or a Paedophile or even a group of them... just imagine the

embarrassment, if a Nobel prize is given to Satoshi and it turns out that he or she is someone sinister. Before I get crucified, I am not saying

that he/she or they are bad, but what if they were.  Huh

I agree altogether. If Satoshi could be literally anyone, then we should be behaving like that's literally the case, and that includes the whole range of everyone, including people we would prefer he were not.
I think satoshi will disclose himself once the governments will recognize bitcoin either as currency or digital asset, other wise he is not going to disclose himself. To me he will really deserve noble price when the number of bitcoin users will increase too much and when governments will admit his invention and contribution in the world of economy.
Its possible that he will disclose himself when government accepts his invention but i dont think they will do such decision some countries might see the goodness of bitcoin and some will not therefore theres no unity on such decision and the full adoption would be like just a dream for sure. Satoshi deserve the economic noble prize because of its invention.
9144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins in Gambling on: December 04, 2016, 04:57:19 PM
There are some good projects in altcoins that are worth taking the risks. Some of them are Ethereum, ICONOMI, Singular DTV, etc. Others like XMR, Dogecoin, DASH are more like a gamble to me. I know many will not agree with me, but I see investing into all those coins which seeks to replace bitcoin has a gamble.
I do agree with you coz i see this alts have good potential and been used by some gambling sites already which they put an option to use altcoin on a particular bet on a kind of game on their site which really indicates that these coins are good enough not a replacement to bitcoin but a good alternative.
9145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex or livecoin? on: December 04, 2016, 04:34:22 PM
Even im new on trading i would still prefer bittrex because its reputable and been operating for longer days already and i didnt even heard about livecoins it maybe famous for someone but not for me. I will just stick to old ways since there are lots of exchanges out there and we i should bother to put up money on an exchange that i didnt heard of.
and there's also good volume inside bittrex so we can make big deals as well and like what you have said bittrex already established their name as a good reputable trading exchange and there's many investors and traders out there.
Im really checking out first the volume of coins that are being trade on a particular exchanges before i do use it just like what you said bittrex  had good volume which really indicated lots of people do make trade with them.Just like poloniex, bittrex is good too and also c-cex.

9147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: December 04, 2016, 02:01:10 PM
I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?
I dont know what did you eat why did you say this kind of thing. Investing is really risky but its not the same with gambling you do only invest on most ponzi or hyip sites out there thats why you are saying this thing for sure. Investment is really good and would make you profits in the long run which you could not able to do in gambling.
9148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Friendly Countries on: December 03, 2016, 09:20:16 AM
I agree to those people who said that Singapore is the most friendly countries when it comes to bitcoin, because Asians people are the people who is grabbing the opportunities that will give benefits to them, they are open-minded in short. Bitcoin is very popular around the world so for me, the most friendly countries when we are talking about bitcoin is those big countries like America, and so on.
you dont say that America belongs to bitcoin friendly country ,IRS gave statement last time that they legally want to pursue tax collection to people from America using Coinbase platform they want all information about them and to track their transaction how come you said that they are one of the friendliest bitcoin country so your comment is invalid.
Indeed because i heard about that new on which they impose taxes and thats really a bad news for those bitcoins users who are in america and i could really say that they are not bitcoin friendly but still we could able to hide our transaction by using another wallet there are lots of choices.
9149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Good Altcoins Fail on: December 03, 2016, 08:45:31 AM
Why do you think good altcoins fail to keep going?   It seems there are some that are good and people collectively have put in tens of thousands of hours supporting, but the team decides to give up midway.

Becouse no big community!
This is one reason on which it has less community compared to bitcoin thats why they commonly failed especially if the interest is absent on a particular coin just like what coin you promote as i saw on your signature showing LEOcoin its just a total trash and with less support from people and lots of negative feedbacks it will surely fail no questions asked.
9150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: December 03, 2016, 05:23:12 AM
Hey! Friends Good day i have some question in mind i would like to ask you about "how can bitcoin help you with your daily life" and "how will you earn in a week or month" and "how can will you spend bitcoin" because i have a bitcoin in my bitcoin wallet then i am very confused because i don't know how to use the bitcoin so i saved up bitcoin until i'm richer so i can pay someone who will teach me to do stuff with bitcoin in my wallet and i would like to know how you can spend bitcoin in need of furniture and foods. Please Cheesy
in my country bitcoin still can not be used as official means of payment so for my need of furniture and foods I must swap bitcoin to local currency.

We are the same dude. There are no stores here in our country that accepts bitcoin as payment if you buy something so you need to exchange it into your own fiat so that you could use it in real life but if we are talking about online transactions not all of the online shop accepts bitcoin but there are few Cheesy
In short we do really wait for the full adoption of bitcoin on our places which we could able to spend our bitcoin directly without the need of exchanging it first to fiat before we could spend it.Bitcoin does really help me on some ways since it could patch up some of my expenses.
9151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin impacts? on: December 03, 2016, 04:19:29 AM
Low fees transactions, a decentralized currencie showing that people dont know how to manage the currencie, but the most important thing that bitcoin bringed to me were the freedom, and plenty control off our money, something that were with banks.
I guess the low fees are really attractive, it's the lowest for international transfers and I would say as well it's the fastest since it's decentralized and no authorities will check our transaction before approving it. It will make a big impact in the world since there's a great possibility people can make big savings by using bitcoin in their transaction.

Agree with this transction fees regarding on money transfer is really an advantage for those people who uses it. Fees are lower compare to those money transfer and remittances which is really a good thing but as we notice on past days transaction are now on bulk and fees are tending to rise up and transfer times are already long.
9152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: never invest your hard earned without reading this. on: December 03, 2016, 03:02:22 AM
Experience has shown that: Trading forex is very risky and most times inexperienced traders jump into trade with they hard earned money without thinking of what they going into. Please advice inexperienced trader here.!!!!!

Too hard to understand your sentences, But The forex was risky comparing with the Alt trading or bitcoin. Just need a second for the price was going down for a lot.  It is very sensitive.

I may think for a stay away from there.
I jump on the best place which can produce a lot of profit for me. You was talking about forex and not related to crypto trading.
Trading in forex and trading on bitcoin/altcoin is really different even though they are the same on trading field but the difficulty is different and i could say forex is too far away because of too volatile price of currencies and commodities thats why most beginners will surely blown up their accounts on a short period of time thats why better to made some demo accounts before going to live.
9153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gradma knows about bitcoin. on: December 02, 2016, 03:41:04 PM
That's interesting. Even old generation know about bitcoin. That means bitcoin is getting more known. It's nice to know that.
All generations are interested with bitcoin. If we know about bitcoin potentials we can't resist not to use it. Bitcoin is a good thing to have.
Hearing this kind of news do really glads me because bitcoin adoption is really spreading and cant be stopped and even old people do already considered it and you are right once we know bitcoin we cant really resist to use it because of its benefits and any other things related into it and also these adoption will continue for decades which means price will price will increase too.
9154  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do you know when a site tries to scam you? on: December 02, 2016, 03:29:57 PM
they are just getting their profit from the deposits of their investors.
Yes businesses with the improper source of income generation, must be doing ponzi business model and they will most probably will scam in very near future. Background checking is more important before and after investing into a site. We need to keep on monitoring their business activities so that we can predict they will scam or not.

Surely they are scams and also add that if their promising you hourly rate or whatsoever interest they will give you back after depositing.

That's their very script, that 'hourly rate interest' when you have read that word, then ignore those sites and don't waste your time to invest with them.

And even don't get curious with them anymore just stay away from them.
I know there have been a lot of scamming websites before but not all websites scam with this method.
You can have the funds and if you have huge enough funds you can keep some on the bank to pay people when needed and rest could be in fiat savings account getting bigger. Like insurance companies.

But that's not a way to know if the site tries to scam us and to be clarified there are a lot of ways to know that a site is scam.

My opinion is just one of the many of it and if there is no service in return of your deposited bitcoins but the interest and profit they are saying then don't trust it.

That's another tactic of scamming sites.

Please clarify on what you are sayin here since your thoughs are not cleared annd its no undestandable, but as for experience we can really determine on when the site whike try to scam us when they are giving some signs of withdrawal delaying, site turns down and says for mentainance and last big return back of investments, and that should be the red flag for all investor so they can flee before they will get scam by certain scam sites.
You should really be wary about this kind of event since its the indication of a certain investment or website would really tend to become scam thats why its considered as a go signal to withdraw all of your money that you did invest but its not always the case since most site will shut directly without any signs or notice.
9155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ? on: December 02, 2016, 05:49:18 AM
Here is the story: My dad just found out that I am storing bitcoin and he try to prevent me from using this crypto. This is absolutely the worst situation I have ever had since I started used Bitcoin. I am living in the country which bad guys abuse Bitcoin for illegal activities. Therefore, most of the people here who do not have a proper knowledge about bitcoin believe bitcoin as a stupid, dummy coin or even MLM. My dad is one of them. Any solution to solve this problem ? It is quite hard though because I am still a teenager so it is extremely difficult to persuade him
Thanks in advance
at first you must tell and explain to your dad about bitcoin slowly , and tell him how MLM is or anything that you know about it, let him know bitcoin by himself

Correct, comparing MLM and bitcoin would be good because your dad will surely could able to tell the difference between two things.Good approach and precise explanation will surely work if you do make efforts on explaining it to him.Bitcoin has good benefits to its users and theres no way to compare it to MLM coz those are real scams.
9156  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: December 02, 2016, 04:20:26 AM
Soon banks will adopt Bitcoin, people will put their bitcoin on bank and the same story all over again....
I dont think soo that banks would able to accept bitcoin and government will not approve such act hence bitcoin is decentralized and also people would not surely tend to put bitcoin on a bank because being anonymous is really a great feature for me and why bother to put in the bank,? you are just exposing your identity especially when you do hold lots of bitcoin. To OP, banks could possibly freeze your account if you do have violations.
9157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the Fuck is Wrong with all Coinz ? ? ? ? ? on: December 01, 2016, 04:05:09 PM
Im also down with the all altcoin I invest in. All price are
dumped right now, seems my investment will take long
to earn profit. But, as we all know bitcoin has becoming
volatile its price, its increasing its price thats why altcoins
dumped. Sadly, I should wait that price of altcoin i invest
with will high the price.
We should really wait to the next price increase because its not really an ideal move that we would panic sell on those altcoins we bought which is a waste of money if we proceed such actions and its better to hold off because those will surely increase again but we dont know when. You are right most altcoins now are tending to drop its price because of bitcoins price inflation.
9158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero over eth? WTF on: December 01, 2016, 03:12:56 PM
Haa Haa Cheesy, i see guys getting pissed off as Monero Rank high in Value over ETH. This happen mate and next may be after a year the same will happen with Monero what will remain is BTC.
What i believe in next is LISK , maybe it will give us some tough time.
LISK do have potential but i dont think it could able to go over Monero on rankings and we could all see that xmr is being used on dark net and its already understandable that it could even grow even more.Looking on the situation of ETH its really a normal thing for me and its the best time to buy now.
I meant to say that may be in coming years (1 or 2) lisk can over take XMR.
Well no one really knows if LISK could able to surpass XMR in upcoming 2 years. Lets just wait and maybe we would get be surprised if there new altcoins will pop out and even surpasses XMR,LISK,ETH and other altcoins out in the market. All things have possibilities.

9160  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: December 01, 2016, 12:01:25 PM
I trust no-one.

I withdrew all of my balance 1 month ago from the banks.  Left only a small portion just to pay my bills and other payments. Rest is mostly in gold and cash and some bitcoins.

Banks always can go bankrupt and even if your balances are secured by the governments, who are they anyway, i don't trust them neither.
Banks could possibly goes bankrupt anytime no matter how secure they are. You are right we should really not trust banks at all and its much better that we hold off our own money rather than letting those into government. Bitcoin is a good option but you should really took up the risk of lossing money when price deflates. In the case of op i dont believe that banks could easily freeze or hold anyones account.
