921  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 30, 2014, 09:36:10 AM
Where are money from April 850k batch? Its millions ... Maybe Friedcat is waiting for China banning Bitfountain's bank accounts so he can tell : "Sorry guys, no dividends, *they stole our money*, we must retain profits of all gen3 to cover our loss, see you next year."  I saw that before in Bitcoinland, after past year nothing is able to surprise me anymore Tongue
I doubt it. Friedcat and ASICMINER is legit, business does not go well all the time.
922  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: New project - multi-altcurrency online wallet on: April 30, 2014, 09:31:38 AM
Yeah man, this doesn't look good on your part. You're asking to borrow $8 in order to build a system that is designed to leave you holding potentially large sums of other peoples money?
It is OK, he is working with some programmers guy from fiverr and a DBA tutorial on MySQL. What could possibly go wrong?!
923  Economy / Lending / Re: Understanding Collateral on: April 30, 2014, 09:28:01 AM
And you will never get a loan of $29,000 on this forum, probably not even if you were a hero member without offering collateral equal to the value of the loan.
In your case, I would try to get a loan at a bank.
I wouldn't because you would get completely laughed out.
924  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Windows Password XP/Vista/7 Recovery Service on: April 30, 2014, 09:27:15 AM
There are bootable cds available on the internet for free which can reset windows user passwords to no passwords. I have used it many times before. The process takes less than 10 minutes. There is no cracking involved, just follow simple steps to erase a password. Google it.

Some people would rather just know the password than remove it altogether. What if they have used it on other machines devices and cant remember? I'm offering a service if you don't like it, don't comment.
Yes and there is something called "reset password" on websites, something called recovery mode for macs.. and who the fuck uses the same windows password as other passwords?

This is a shitty service, go download http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ and reset your password in 5 minutes.
925  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: 150 BTC Loan, 12% per year interest, 180 days. (pegged to fiat value) on: April 30, 2014, 09:24:43 AM
1. Registered on forum in 2012. Hero member. Many posts. Good activity.
2. Does escrow and group buys, where everyone has been fully paid and satisfied.
3. Does a sort of charity Feed Some Children program. On going since last year.

Check check check, what can possibly go wrong with such reputation?  Cheesy Cheesy
926  Other / Meta / Re: Why was dank banned? on: April 30, 2014, 09:17:37 AM
Because the mods got tired of dank's BS, at least for a while. Not so difficult to comprehend.
927  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinjedi / betsofbitco.in SCAMMERS: Declares "Push" on obvious win for BFL bet on: April 30, 2014, 09:11:21 AM

While I think a case can be made for their call on the BFL bet being incompetence rather than scamming (bettors got their money back in a push) it looks like this latest situation of shutting down the site without giving users their coins moves them into scam territory.  Too bad as I really liked what they were trying to do with the site.

Nice job calling them out so early.
So.. bitbet.us
928  Economy / Lending / Re: Understanding Collateral on: April 30, 2014, 09:09:36 AM
That was my thought as well, but Bitcoin is a no trust needed system and again I'm only trying to generate a discussion on what would be need for large loans to work. Such as turning those ATMs and control of those ATMs into smart property that can be transferred to the loaners upon payment failure.
Then why wouldn't the loaner just buy the Bitcoin ATM themselves? What expertise do you bring into the equation?
929  Economy / Lending / Re: Understanding Collateral on: April 30, 2014, 08:56:22 AM
Nobody over the internet is going to lend you $29k to buy two bitcoin ATMs, with $15k sitting idle. Something people with the capacity to fund would do it themselves.

Try getting a loan from your family, friends, or find a business partner IRL. What if someone defaces / vandalizes your machine? Don't run a bitcoin ATM if you don't have the capital to do so.
930  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CoinListener.com - Free Bitcoin email and SMS price alerts on: April 30, 2014, 08:52:44 AM
Neat design Smiley

@coinnewbit: I think CoinListener is using the carrier's email to SMS gateways.
931  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [InDev] freebitcoins.pw - Putting BTC back in your pocket! on: April 30, 2014, 08:50:10 AM

I'm here to announce the return of freebitcoins.pw! I used to run it as, in it's most basic form, a website, faucet and promotion list, but with the inputs.io hack "scam" most faucets went down so I simply stopped running the website. However I now want to revive freebitcoins.pw as a list of places where you can get free bitcoins - so I have!

Fixed.

We're currently in development so there will be a limited amount of ways to earn free Bitcoin, however we will add more ways ASAP (as soon as we see them, that is) and we will also be developing more ways for the average person to get involved with the website.

Note: We use AdBit.co for advertising, so if you want to see stats you can click our little "Your Ad Here" link and the stats will be shown on our page over there.

Good choice on choosing a more suitable project for your abilities though, a static HTML page listing crappy facuets. I guess your last discussbitcoin.org forum was too much to handle, because recaptcha is so hard.

For your information, instead of creating a new folder and putting index.php for each redirection URL, just add this to your .htaccess and link to your php files without .php:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.php [NC,L]
932  Other / Meta / Re: Biggest Scammer on bitcointalk.org in the last couple of years??? on: April 30, 2014, 08:34:52 AM
There's a difference between a service that was hacked (which is something that can happen even if you place great importance on the security), and a scammer.
933  Other / Meta / Re: Biggest Scammer on bitcointalk.org in the last couple of years??? on: April 30, 2014, 08:33:52 AM
OP is looking for scammers (eg pirateat40), not services that were hacked.
934  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I didn't pay capital gains tax on bitcoin sales to IRS today on: April 21, 2014, 05:07:48 PM
The last couple months there have been a lot of posts concerning the IRS ruling that bitcoins are to be treated as property and that it was required to pay a capital gains tax on the sale of bitcoins. Some people even posted that "bitcoin is doomed" because of the ruling.

To prove just how silly it is for people to worry about this, I created this thread to call out the IRS to prove what I owe in capital gains due to bitcoin sales.

So if there are any IRS employees trolling this thread, you're welcome to pour over the blockchain and tell me what I owe you.  Wink

you're a moron
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Power Rankings on: April 21, 2014, 05:07:31 PM
You dont think Theymos is influential enough in BTC landscape ? Because of his post so many people became aware of the HeartBleed bug and downloaded the new Bitcoin-QT. I think it shows his influence for the good.
I lolled.

Add Pieter Wuille / sipa btw.
