921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 19, 2023, 11:48:42 AM
Some gamblers have already achieved this as a success with gambling because they depend all their earnings source from it and they have developed many means through which they source out this income in gambling, it doesn't matter the nature of what we do to earn some income as far as it's a legitimate means or source, if you're able to cope with that with paying your bills and other demanding needs then it's a success but if not, there must be an attempt to make some additional means while it's a failure to have depended on it alone.

I am not sure if there are seriously anyone with such high success in the world of gambling but I do know that they earn from gambling in an indirect ways. For example, making live streams about the gambling, making youtube videos about their events they played, showing slots on live streams over various social platforms and thus earning money from the majority of the social media advertising platforms.

This is true, Only those using gambling for their other source of income is the only way you can only have a consistent income when gambling is involved. Streamers earned a lot from the partnership and their affiliate commission so their personal game losses is almost nothing compared to what they are earning.

Even professional poker players still struggling to have a consistent win and only few of them is on the profit for their overall bankroll. We can win or lose in gambling so it’s impossible to be consistent on this kind of game.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche is NOT listed as a security (SEC) on: June 18, 2023, 04:50:27 PM

SEC doesn’t consider Avalanche a security because Avalanche is a decentralized coin

This is 4 or false information. Being decentralized or centralized is not a classification for being a security or not. SEC determine a token as security if there’s a profit involved when they offer the token or simply it works like a stock token that profit sharing to all share holders.

SEC use howey test to determine if the token is security or not which the criteria will put most of the cryptocurrency is indeed a security.

Quote
Under the Howey Test, a transaction is considered to be a security if it meets the following four criteria:

Money is invested.
There is an expectation the investor will earn a profit.
The investment is in a common enterprise.
Profits are generated via the efforts of others.

Have no idea your educational background and no interest. You need improve your reading skills. Or just waste your time here. I got no problem on 'luck is totally random'. And I do not say anything on that. My point is professionals 'know-how' 'deduct' 'the influence' of bad luck. Simple words. Bad luck can happen to anyone. Ordinary people like you will lose all your cash at hand if you gamble that day. Professionals get the same bad luck, they may lose 10% of the cash at hand. Whose brainpower need to improve now? This is the last time I response on such useless post. Have a good day.

But how do you determine if someone is a pro or not on game that is based on luck? It’s either they are just lucky on guessing or they have a good bankroll management that makes them stay on the game without being busted.

Bankroll size and management is the greatest weapon if you want to stay in gambling longer but there’s really no guarantee to have a consistent profit as source of income since you already said that bad luck always come. At some point. These professionals will encounter it and bust them even after their long winning streak.
924  Local / Pamilihan / Re: narinig ko lang (FOR DOTA 2 FANS/BETTORS/ETC) on: June 18, 2023, 02:58:01 PM

I hope everyone is having a good time like me, Just hit a 10 win streak on Blackjack which I’m dumbass enough to not check if my screen shot really work.

Join the weekends tournament for a chance to win USDT and free spin. It will give you more score when you use AvatarUx slot games to farm points fast and enter the top 100. You can use the link for the tournament https://bitcasino.io/tournaments/2023-06-16-the-weekend-rush?ref=bctelegram

A question on @Bitcasinosupport, Why does the captcha is not appearing immediately during sign up. It only appears right after I click login then a warning will appear at the same time with captcha. I have an Authenticator verification which makes me a little uncomfortable since I will repeat the process once the captcha appear. How to solve this delay captcha issue?
926  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does ranking not guarantee post quality? on: June 17, 2023, 04:13:59 PM
I know for sure there will be a lot of comments that blaspheme me. I may be a newbie but I know that a post has value and a good argument. Maybe I haven't read all the threads, so I have to ask about my statement, that many high ranking members have low quality posts? talk nonsense and have no clear arguments. Is my statement correct?

There’s an airdrop merit or users that reach high rank before merit system was introduced so there’s really some high rank member that doesn’t post quality like those high rank members here that climb to the rank through earning merits.

With the new merit system, New generation high should guarantee post quality since merit is very hard to earned except for this users that participate only on the forum contest that usually gave a generous airdrop.

What’s the issue with this? This is a forum. Someone excel and some is just mediocre but we are all united because of our interest with Bitcoin not with our post quality.
927  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.GAME trying to SCAM BLATANTLY!! on: June 17, 2023, 02:10:54 PM
You should read their ToS completely especially the AML policy. You deposit and place 2 bets after you deposit then withdraw. You will probably trigger their security for a suspicious mixing using their casino. Most of the casino has a wagering requirements for the deposit before you can withdraw it. Failure on completing before withdrawal will surely trouble you to do KYC because you demonstrate a money launderer like activity.

Just do the KYC because that’s their policy. You should know that if you read the ToS before you deposit especially a significant amount.
I have read their ToS and I have not broken any rule whatsoever. I turned over my money and I even was able to successfully withdraw 1770 (part of my deposit)
They now ask for KYC but there is no option to upload KYC documents anywhere because they have disabled it too!

Yeah, You withdraw part of your deposit but still you didn’t complete the x1 wagering requirements with your 2 bets since you will need a final balance of 4K USD in able to do that since your balance is still short while you have few bets. This is just my opinion, they hold the remaining balance you still didn’t complete the wagering requirements for your total balance while you are withdrawing the rest already.

Also, Your screenshot shows that you didn’t reply right the live support became online. Do you contact live support after that first attempt? They might overlook your concern since you posted your issue before the live support attend to your case.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Categories of Unrealistic Sports Betting Expectations on: June 17, 2023, 11:58:29 AM

The first category is composed of sports bettors with a $1000 bankroll who hope to make $100,000 by the end of the year. In what universe do they think this is possible? Such expectations are unrealistic and only occur in the lottery, not in sports betting. Even in sports betting, it would be a chance occurrence, happening only once in every 100 bets. A more realistic expectation would be to aim for increasing their bankroll.

Turning 1000$ to 100,000$ is not impossible because it just x100 from base bankroll. A forum user managed to do that already by playing only sports betting. You can refer to the quoted post below. His post is not bullshit because you can see that he really have a huge bankroll and involved in extreme sport betting if you browse his post history.

I’ve turned $1,000 into $100,000
I’ve turned $6,000 into $80,000
I’ve turned $11,000 into $550,000
and recently I’ve turned $4,000 into $90,000

This possible but it’s very hard if you think about it.

930  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: June 16, 2023, 04:38:02 PM
I think avatar thing could make it unique if it goes down that road and it could basically give people some personality in there, even though we do not know who everyone is, we could at least know "who" they are that way, I highly love that because it allows me to not give my name but show what I like, and that means people could make predictions what type of person I am based on that, not fully but at least insight into my soul a bit.

Avatar on Blackjack.fun is randomly assigned by the admin based on the name or characteristics of the player. You are right that avatar feature is to make a distinction on players since they are anonymous. But since this avatar is randomly assign, This doesn’t show the real preferences of players.

And about the betting part, I feel like it's always dangerous to gamble based on what the casino is about to do, I just gamble however I like to gamble and if something happens then it happens, if it doesn't happen then it's fine I just gambled the way I want so I should be having fun anyway.

I’m confused on this statement. What do you mean casino about to do? Most of the games is designed for you to interact in the game without interference of the casino except for games like Blackjack which you are competing with casino directly.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year on: June 16, 2023, 04:32:21 PM

And with that I think majority of us will not admit that we might have lost more than winning. Specially if we calculate even in the last 6 months of our gambling activity. Which means it's really hard to make money unless you got lucky or have the control not to bet big. Just simply enjoy the game and who knows, maybe lady luck will smile on you and give you a good winnings.

Even without self admittance, I think the majority of gamblers here is on posing side considering the total PnL our games since we start gambling. We all knew that we start as new in gambling that we are always greedy to chase more profit until we learn on our lossing experience.

I’m proud to admit that I’m still in loss despite I’m already in consistent profit now because the bankroll I’m using now is much lower compared when I’m newbie because I’m not scared that time to risk more money. But enjoyment to the game is really what we are paying on gambling while profit is just next in line for our goal.

*Let’s keep it this way to avoid being regretful on our losses. Cheers!  Wink
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 16, 2023, 02:46:21 PM

Do you think the results of the research above are correct?

I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife. maybe the results of this research can be used by gambling business owners in developing their business.

I doubt the integrity of this reseaech since people has different preference regrdless of the gender. The woman involved in gambling is very small just like what you said so how this survey conclude with that findings by just surveying only few woman that actually involve on gambling?

If there is a factor that differentiate woman to man is the risk appetite on gambling. Woman usually doesn't want to take a lot of risk on gambling compared to man that is very aggressive.
933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Explain This Bitcoin Trade on: June 16, 2023, 02:42:03 PM
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and reply.
When I trade FOREX, I can Buy or Sell, at the Market, and then end the trade whenever I want.
For example, let's say I Buy at $10. It increases to $10.5, $11.0, etc. I can get out of the trade whenever I want to. I don't want to get out of the trade because I believe the price will keep going up and up.
Is this possible when I buy Bitcoin in Coinbase?

Because Forex trading is a derivative/option trading while Coinbase that you are using is a spot trading. You are buying the real tokens and you can withdraw outside the exchange while Forex is just buying of contracts of the pair you are trading which means it's not the real asset. This is why your position on Forex will just remain active when you purchased since its a contract unlike spot that is an actual tokens.

You should learn the technicalities and definition of both type of trading before you enter on the actual trading. You are referencing the price that’s why it's hard for you to understand how it works.
934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm Having Difficulty With A Trading Feature on: June 15, 2023, 05:36:11 PM
Close All Positions
I do not see that feature in Coinbase. The only thing I see is, "Cancel Order."

It means that your position is not yet fillied if cancel order is still available on your order status. What type of trade you are doing? Spot trading or Futures Trading because the forex like feature on trading that you are talking is Futures trading while spot trasing will just let you hold the coin.

Or are you using an option trading?

I’m really sure that your order is not filled since there’s still cancel order feature? Check your total balance in your wallet if your money is still there. Probably your balance is still on the open order that’s why you assume that your balance already loss because you can’t place an order anymore. Cancel your open order so that you can retrieve your balance.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ambivalent attitude to gambling on: June 15, 2023, 03:32:06 PM
Criticism
Criticism towards gambling persists, with the belief that these games have a detrimental effect on society by exacerbating wealth inequality and contributing to social issues.

What do you think? Why is there such a different attitude to gambling products and will it ever change?
Religion and the culture affects the whole perception to every gambler and we cannot change that one, what we can do is to accept it.
This is why most of the gambler prefer to gamble on their own and play online than to go to casinos. Different perception to gambling varies on every belief and culture, there's no way to change this one because religion comes a long way even before gambling. If this is against the belief of your community, expect to receive lots of criticism, just focus on what you think is right and be responsible for that.

This is true. Religion is what makes gambling have a stigma on a country with strong religion like Christianity and Islam. Gambling can be considered as a leisure games since its impact on finance of someone will not gonna be huge if he knew how to handle it.

The risk is not the problem but the way religion put a negative impression on gambling since they are relying on the negative result on gambling addicts and ignore all those entertainment given on most of the player. Until now, I’m still ashamed to know my family that I’m gambling even if I have a white collar job with good salary. I’m living too on my own yet my mother will surely give me a beating when they knew that I play gambling.

But sometimes reality is better than what we can imagine, so, please, next time hit that Print Screen button as often as you can during a bonus round, and then imagine you are competing for the Oscar in Film Editing, and pick several really nice shots out of many, and use them in your story here. Because sometimes reality is better than what we can imagine. Smiley

It's very hard to hit print screen button in PC because it requires a combination of FN button and Prntscrn. Plus the fact that you are more excited on the result of your bonus game wishing for more multiplier drops instead of remembering to make a screenshot.  Cheesy

I always forget making screenshot and I just remember doing after a couple times of hitting a bonus round. Anyway I discovered now my question about the mysterious 5 free spin. It came from the tournament that rewards top 100 users.

I become more engaged on playing in Bitcasino after the Bitcoin predictor is gone. I hope this promotion will be back again.
937  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there anyone else who shares the same sentiments? on: June 12, 2023, 05:24:41 PM
Binance is not bitcoin, binance is an exchange.
Even if Binance winds up today, Bitcoin will still exist.

Absolutely correct!
But one thing we should know is that despite they are not the same we should understand it may have a little impact on the market meaning causing a little bear reaction due the US citizens panicking to sells off their assets on Binace exchange but after some while the market gets back it's stability. Whatever that happens to any exchange today would definitely have a negative impact on Bitcoin and altcoin price despite not relatively affected to their chains and although the turbulence may not last for a longer period of time for the affects currencies to gets back their feets. I have witnessed some exchange that was affected and instantaneously leads to price decrease within an interval of the event.

This is true but sadly crypto people mostly on social media hanging out is too dumb to realize that Binance or CZ doesn’t represent Bitcoin at all. Many supporter saying that they need to support CZ for crypto future while crypto especially Bitcoin will continue to exist and traded on other exchange.

Binance is just another exchange and we crypto people are already trading Bitcoin before the existence of Binance. Other exchange will surely step up to replace Binance in case they will collapse like FTX. We just need to brace ourselves on this temporary drawback but rest assured everything will gonna be fine.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 12, 2023, 12:35:55 PM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

It’s very hard to quit when you are in profit compared when in loss because you are happy on the result of your gambling and have money at the same time to gamble more.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?

I always experienced scenario like this. I always winning huge amount then lose it all in the other day when I came back gambling. It’s very easy to become reckless on bets when you knew that you are on profit and the money that you are using is not part of your original bankroll until I loss it all.

I still gambling and improved myself.  Wink
939  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: June 12, 2023, 08:56:25 AM
I didn't get that 5 free spins but I got another offer somehow Bitcasino consistently gave me an offer on the reward page, have you checked your reward page?
Here I am offered 30 free spins and $1 for each spin in the game Wanted Dead or a Wild, but I have to deposit $60 and wager $750 actually not too bad for me
what's interesting is that this offer is active until the end of the year so I can activate it when I already have a budget at least I have to prepare a budget of around $200.

What currency you are currently using? I don’t receive this kind of offer before even though I’m checking regularly my reward page. Only those 5 free spin is what I’m consistently receiving every week. How many times you receive this reward?

Actually that 750$ wager is very easy to fulfill if live casino is counter for wager but it’s hard if only slot games are counted on wager because it will took a lot of spin to get that 750$.

Good luck!
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm getting tired of the high fees for gwei on: June 11, 2023, 04:02:49 PM
The high fees of gwei in Ethereum transactions are due to the supply and demand dynamics of the network. When the network is congested, users need to pay higher fees to prioritize their transactions. The popularity of DeFi and NFTs has increased demand for Ethereum transactions, leading to higher fees.

The standard gas fee of Ethereum for sending transaction is as cheap as Bitcoin right now. The fee dramatically decreased after the implementation of the PoS as consensus mechanism. The high fee you are describing is from the Dapps itself which typically charge extra fee aside from the network fee for taxes and business profit.

Etherum dapps is worst because they are abusing the current demand on Eth dapps to charge unreasonable fee to their customers. Uniswap is the number dapps that charge expensive fee for making a trade.
