On the Exchange Front...
The tension is building like two sides going to war. On Poloniex there is a buy order for 246,043 Silk Coin... Someone does not want to take a chance on the price dropping during the 2nd PoW...
To be honest it is quite difficult to buy large amounts of Silk now. If you wait for the second proof of work to get your coins you may miss out. Very small purchases can move the market... Less than 5BTC of Silk purchases on Bittrex would move the price to 2500 satoshi. Wow!
This coin is headed to the moon! Great developers, active marketing, and a great community. Go look around the forums and compare...
Judge Crypto
I agree with judgecrypto, right now it's very difficult to buy large amounts of SilkCoin. That buy order has been up there for close to two days, and it hasn't moved much. In fact when it first popped onto the order book it was at 1500 Satoshis, the buyer has gotten impatient waiting for someone to sell and moved it up to 1800 Satoshis and it's still there. With the amount of attention that we'll be getting at the start of the 2nd PoW phase, it will flood the market with new buyers and as judgecrypto mentioned that only 5 BTC is needed to get to 2500 Satoshis. The price will have a dramatic increase. There will be the inevitable dump of some coins from some miners and multipools, however by then I predict the market would've already have moved up to a new price level. The qeustion for me is: How many coins will be dumped? When will the dev's decision about the blockreward in the second POW stage be announced? Any update for that? The decision about the block reward, along with a few other major announcements will be posted during this week, at latest by Friday. We don't want to rush anything or launch anything prematurely. |

Is there already some news regarding the reduction of the coins in the PoW phase?
Da fuck? when did this happen and by how much? I have the feeling second PoW is gonna be like trying to mine LTC my poor lil 1.2 MH rig won't get me anywhere near as much SC as I would like We are still currently discussing the reduced block reward amounts. |

I don't know what the devs have in plan but they said that they have nothing to do with silkroad, if I remember it correctly. Just my 2 SC - it's up to you. I agree with Trezi, with regards to branding, calling the Eco-System "Darknet" would be a blunder. I think we'll stick to Eco-System for now |
