941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 25, 2022, 02:00:47 PM
I really worried that it would be a 0-0 game and it did happen. I am not saying that this game was deserved by one team or the other, I know that if one team wins than the other teams fans will be sad, so do not get what I am saying wrong, but as someone who is not from Italy, all I care about is my bet winning (which lost) and/or watching a good game.

I already lost, I said Juventus would win, but at the very least Milan could have win this and it could have been still a fun game. I mean imagine that it is 3-0 first half, Juventus is ahead, and I am super happy, then Milan scores 4 more goals, and wins, last one at 90+3, like how Liverpool won recently, isn't that super exciting? That would give some fun to this boring world we are living in. I mean I could just watch a boring movie if I wanted to spend 90 minutes with 0-0 result in the end.

When did Liverpool win 4 3 recently? That was Juventus who did that,,, against Roma, but not in injury time even just in regular time.

We are not living in a boring world,,, if you feel that it is, we must try and show you all the exciting things. Of course you are sort of right 0-0 is usually a dull game but I think from the reports anyone watching would say it was not a typical game where nobody tried to share points. Why do I defend Italian league I wonder  Grin

So nice to hear and well done! Just remember to keep the Bitcoin safely and not in an exchange Wink

And you got paid at the best time right now too,,, less than 50% from the ATH, so when we get back to ATH levels again you will have doubled your money for nothing at all but patience Wink
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 25, 2022, 10:08:45 AM
I'm no big fan of Chelsea football club not Hakim Ziyech, but then you see the performance he had during the game against Tottenham and scoring such a beautiful goal, he does deserves to be the goal of the week.
Impressed to see how they have beaten Tottenham a total of four good times this season.
Mason mount got me tripping, great win to both Chelsea and Manchester United.
Ziyech performance in that match was really good and I think he was very lucky to be in the right position to score that goal, to be honest maybe it's been a long time since I've seen a beautiful goal from distance like that come in the Premier League and I think that goal deserves to be the best goal of the week and will probably deserve to be one of the nominees for the Puskas award next year.

I cannot ever be a Chelsea fan even if I wanted to,,, forever stuck with Spurs, but of course you cannot help but admire good players, no matter which club they play for, and for me the more important thing than their skills is their attitude and I agree Ziyech does have a good attitude, with Mount I do not feel much and in fact with the others other than Kante I do not really feel any "metal" in their attitude other than that they all seem to be playing like they are not going at 100% yet (or are unable to?).

946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage in crypto on: January 25, 2022, 08:19:53 AM
I mean, long before I knew even about crypto, or derivatives or leverage or futures, I was just doing normal forex and already everyone who knew how or thought they knew how was trying to do arbie.

Huge funds do not work on small alts though. Not enough volume in orders.

Traders are trying to do arbitrage for the hope that they will get profit of course. But for example in crypto, there are some factors that you need to consider before pushing thru with arbitrage. It is hard to suggest a coin to get involved with because the price volatility is hard to follow in any coin. You need to focus in small number of coins if you want to employ this kind of strategy. Also, quite risky to trade small cap coins. The price movement is usually slow and not advisable if you want quick profit.

Volatility actually makes it easier in arbitrage,,, I would say. If you remember in the past 4 years since 2017 ATH when Bitcoin could be arbitraged in South Korea and in Argentina, volatility was so extreme that exchanges could not keep up. Traders profit the most with systems that are slow to match price in global market.

Volatility is not as big a problem as volume. Small altcoins have so little orders you would wipe out your arbitrage gains with a few hundred dollars.
947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage in crypto on: January 24, 2022, 03:43:21 PM
I tried Arbitrage before trading from dex/cex to cex and vice versa when there are new token listing the only problem is the transaction time, its a bit difficult to process it manually you will spend a lot of time to withdraw and deposit if you are doing it without using any bot. Second I learn for you to earn good amount in arbitrage trading you need huge funds since most of the price nowadays have very little difference from other exchanges. Most traders today are using bots to make a good profit since its automated and can trade even when you are sleeping, manual is really difficult for now you cant frontrun 100 bots trading simultaneously.

I think everyone has tried arbitrage at some point if they ever wanted to call themselves "amateur trader" Wink

948  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $34k the bottom?? on: January 24, 2022, 03:00:53 PM
I rather zoom out to the chart and use higher time frames to really check the bottom.
Basing previous prices is good to spot the bottom, using other levels as support.

So for me,  very high chance that we will test the $30,000. As it is acting psycholigical support for everyone. Very high possibility that that could be the bottom or huge candle wick on $28,000 - $29,000.

Yes,,, pulling even to weekly and monthly seems to suggest we are for sure going to go to 30k and test it a few more times, before again asking ourselves if we go further down or recover to 40k.

But I wonder if instead of 30k test we just break directly to your bottom of 28k,,, since this is almost to me what happened this week without 40k test it just left from 43 to 38 in one big crash.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 24, 2022, 01:57:16 PM
If they could win this game, the point difference would have been only 1. But on the brighter side, it's good that they didn't lose against Juventus who are also on really good form. The league title-deciding factor will be interesting to see.

Yes, we can all see the table, I do not know why there is always a need to say something about points in table what could have been, unless people talk about specific actions in the game,,, which I get then is completely more meaningful!

This was more a loss for Milan than for Juventus though,,, when you draw at home it always feels like you are the loser, as there is no better time to get full points than against a weakened side in your own turf.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This use case even make any sense? on: January 24, 2022, 01:07:38 PM
Did you come late to crypto or something? The "staking" coins era came and left and then defi coins started pamping to show everyone that we all love a good coin with no use case other than to make more coins from it.

They never last,,, they never rise long term, they just die down unless their coin finds other utility like BNB did.

And to answer, no it does not make sense.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: January 24, 2022, 09:38:38 AM
Seems like we had 2 very good games last night, both pushes but both came quite close. Arsenal if they could just score 2 goals or add another corner, deserved to win,,, but Burnley is stubbornly fighting in relegation zone. PSG did the same, shooting in corners but also actually had many goals. But Reims did nothing to contribute but 1 yellow card.

AFCON returns!

952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HEX is your last chance at a 10000x crypto. on: January 23, 2022, 03:14:01 PM
I honestly cannot believe this coin is still alive,,, but then again when I read about it 2 years ago I remember some people even staked for 2 3 and even 5 years, so I guess minimum this coin can be around until 2025 or unless everybody and the whales decide to pull the plug at one go.

As you said, gains are not good enough for newcomers but beware the whale rugpull.

I don't think crypto has attain that level of trust (especially some of these alts) where people would stake for such a long period of time and feel good about it, 3 - 5 of stake is risking investment imo, i don't know how trusting the project and team are, but for a project that already got some red flags around it, not a good decision imo, gains are good when the staked period is not over stretched, anything can happen in rest of the years.

This really I think has nothing to do with trust,,, but the appetite for greed and gambling. There was a smart mechanism in there to ensure long term stakers though and this was the free airdrop. So a lot of people with nothing to lose staked many years and this encouraged whales to try for the same, or at least put say some capital in while making the most of the free airdrop.

And because they showed very good returns for people who staked 2/3 years already I guess the HEX pull becomes stronger. This is not trust,,, this is pure gambling.

Sorry for those who thought Atletico or Valencia would take them to victory but it appears when these 2 meet, impossible to turn away yellow card count. High bust but we are all alive, and Saints almost made us cheer,,, but I guess most of you will be happy with the failure of Sky Blues to win?

954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 22, 2022, 09:07:52 AM
There are multiple teams in Premier League with 3 or more postponed fixtures and it won't be a problem for those to get rescheduled. In Serie A, the league will get to court and sue you over one game and even deduct points...crazy stuff!

Not even that,,, supposedly Arsenal even got a game postponed and only had 1 Covid player, the rest were all injured or on international duty or something. That is why our Coach Conte is so mad that the game got postponed under Covid rules, and yet the real reason Arsenal postponed was they did not want to get tired.

I really feel for Salertinata Sad

Congrats casperBGD for yellow cap! I still am focusing on 4th spot for the prize spot,,, slowly slowly Wink

Super terrific news to hear about Bitcoin to the moon,,, only this is the most literal way to say the phrase, I love it  Cool

The cause is also a great one, to share the love of science with everyone in the world especially in schools. I wish my school was this fun about science. All we did was kill one or two old fermented frogs and then no money to do anything else interesting. And we were supposed to love that? Wink

957  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Will Bitcoin dip below $40K? on: January 21, 2022, 10:48:45 AM
Oh crap. I voted late and even made a mistake. I picked NO for an answer.  Grin
I was not checking the price for days and I also am expecting for Bitcoin not to go down the $40k resistance, but it did. I guess it's time to take out my cash and be one of the many buyers that is waiting for this moment. The entry point. I don't think this price below $40k will be long. Just my prediction and my instincts.

No point in voting now,,, new poll should be whether this last 24 hours, 7 days or 1 month. If it does not break to 40k again within January I fear we should all already admit defeat and this is the new bear cycle to last until the next halving.

IT is not that I am trying to sound defeated,,, just that we have to accept at some point the cycle is restarting right?
958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goldman Sachs projection regarding BTC on: January 21, 2022, 10:10:28 AM
People are getting way too confused over short, medium and long term. Yes Bitcoin is store of value, yes Bitcoin is always going to appreciate and yes Bitcoin also a hedge for inflation,,, but this is long term.

Volatility in short term is a fact we cannot deny, but that does not mean Bitcoin is broken Smiley
Bitcoin becomes a store of value because of its increasing price, and over the last 10 years, Bitcoin proves to become better and that’s why many started to believe on this. The $100k prediction is possible to happen, though it may not easy but in time we will be able to reach that. I see that to happen in the next 5 years, we are actually getting closer for that price.

Not so much because of increasing price, but the ability to keep a high average of appreciating value I would say,,, I mean, you just have to be a holder to understand that you could even lose value over 2 years more and more, but eventually, if you wait 4 or 5 years or much longer, it is always worth more than the price you paid, which also makes DCA an interesting way to keep ensuring your value/networth keeps growing!
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 21, 2022, 08:40:02 AM
Partey with a straight red in tonight's cup fixture against Liverpool, and what looked to be quite a few tired legs out there by the end of the match. Might be worth considering this when your doing your predictions for the weekend. If I was to predict anything, I'd go with a 0-0 draw.

I would have watched this game if my team went through instead of Chelsea but I do hope Liverpool win this, not Chelsea. Just to remind everyone that Chelsea had to beat Aston Villa and Southampton on penalties to get to this stage, of course Liverpool also did with Leicester City but arguable,,, in a more exciting fashion.

@Welsh I had no idea how bad it was with Digne,,, I just read now that actually he fell out with Rafa. This was one of Everton's best players I wonder why or how a club reaches a point they make enemies with player manager within months and then get sold. But all good for Villa I guess.

And yes,,, I am the happiest person on earth. Spurs won and what a way we won!
I'm not entirely sure how the board allowed it to happen, especially since they must have been considering moving on Rafa at that point. I don't think the problem ends with Rafa, the board seem to be a little bit clueless at times too. Obviously, as a Liverpool fan I'm loving it. I remember genuinely being a little worried a few seasons ago when they started to do some real nice business in the transfer market. Not because I worried they'd over take us, its just the idea of a rival getting better, and somewhat competitive for titles. Thank god it never really amounted to anything.

Very bad move and the fans must be the most upset,,, to lose your best player to a direct rival and not even for a manager you want to keep. I know what you mean though I always feel like Arsenal are going to overcome us again finally but I guess looking at the way they play now, it is not happening soon Wink Sorry I know I should support Arsenal because of Sportsbet but the problem is I support Spurs Wink

Very interesting statistics shown there icopress,,, and if I was going to bet based on that I would have gone for a draw or double chance Arsenal,,, unfortunately Diogo Jota has the difference of finishing. I saw the goals, he is almost like a more direct Salah, the way he does not shoot so hard or lift the ball. We have a direct person in Harry Kane but it is always power and blasting shots from him, we have almost nobody who plays like this and Liverpool have many!

Anyway, today we have a Bundesliga game.
