961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: November 27, 2022, 07:15:03 PM
There's a saying that money is the root of all evil and in this case, it is really evident that both the boyfriend and girlfriend showed their true colors after knowing the fact that they had more money to spend. The boyfriend just wants to keep the money by himself because he was the one who earned it but and ignored the fact that he won't be in that situation if it is not because of his girlfriend's money. While the girlfriend can't also hide his true colors for demanding a humungous amount after she learned about the money.

I cannot really imagine that they are both in love with each other until that day came to their life and messed things up because of their true colors.
That saying isn't true at all times because there are also people who became evil or can do crimes for other reasons like for example if they love someone else. All of us need a money because it's being used to purchase the thing that we need daily. We shouldn't think negatively about it or overthink about the bad things that can happen later on as it can only make us paranoid.

In the story, there is nothing wrong on what the girl acted but it's normal that she will ask for something because it was her own money that his boyfriend use. I am sure that if the same scenario happened to us, we will also act the same. If there is wrong here, that must be the guy because he is very greedy.

If you haven't studied enough and still do not understand what you are looking at when you look at a chart and you do not know how to draw a proper line, then you do not have any chance in making a profit in the crypto world. I understand that some people may imagine they are ready for it, but the reality is that they are not ready for it at all.

I think it’s quite clear that too many people traded when they had absolutely no idea what they were buying and why they were buying it, which obviously resulted with all of them losing a lot of money. Just stop trading like you do not care, and start figuring out how to learn to be a better trader in the long run.
You mean in the crypto trading world only and not entirely in the crypto world because there are still ways for him to earn a crypto even if he is weak at trading. He can do trading instead or work as a crypto freelancer, and so on. Imagining things, dreaming or day dreaming is not wrong but we should know our limits.

We shouldn't commit it if we have zero experience/knowledge about it but we can practice first. I think the reason why we imagine our selves to become a trader is because we are inspired of the other pro traders and their earnings so we also want to become one. That's good but we shouldn't rush things. We can also get on that level as long as we trust the process.
963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would a Nation of Sports Gamblers Look Like? on: November 27, 2022, 06:12:21 AM
Legalization is good for the government but for the existing offline business sharks its not going to be so they will push the government with all their influence to stop legalization. Making the online gamble will not affect the existing casino business for sure but still the empire they build for decades will not be upright but with the evolution its not possible to suppress for too long.
Yes, because when gambling is now legalized, it means that it can now be taxed and tax can also go in the development of the country but that is if the government of that country is not corrupt however there are people who won't agree with it because they are selfish and don't like to be charged by a tax and there are also people who think gambling is bad so they won't agree to legalize it.

I don't know on why say that the legalization of gambling is bad for the offline business sharks. Is it because they don't want to be taxed as well? But they will still bribe the government, which is still the same. A new gambling biz can affect the existing ones only if they can offer better stuffs.

We may think it is unfair to the man's family, but maybe there is some truth in his thoughts. He may want to teach his family to keep trying even though they already have a lot of money and do nothing but enjoy their winnings. Hopefully, he can tell his family about his big win so they can celebrate it and change his life for good. He can also advise his family not to waste his winnings and try to prepare better for his future. The money was very much and could support the man's family well, but if not used properly, it would not give any results.
To some rich families, they also teach their kids to work hard and to not totally depend on their parents. This is a great because kids will learn how to value money and this will also improve their life more evenly, making them more rich.

If we are lazy and we will only spend, no matter how big is that money it will always be drained out. What will happen to them after that? Winning in lottery is not easy and it can only happen once in a blue moon or one in our lifetime so it's important that we must value the money that came through it. It will also be a good idea to use it in setting up a business to grow it more and let your family involved in it.
965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rainbow Indicator drop on all time low on: November 26, 2022, 06:34:41 PM
Now that its on verge of destroying the long time pattern, What so you think will gonna happened on Bitcoin price once this extreme bearish signal finally confirmed.
I do not think so. There are lesser possibilities for anything 'unusual' to happen. If you notice, ATH of 2013 was a an exception in the upper side. So, if we have further fall in this bearish trend then that would be another similar scenario and hence in my opinion, it does not mean anything like destroying the usual behaviours of bitcoin markets.

Even pandemic didn’t make it to destroy this pattern before.
Pandemic caused a 'double bottom' formation (with previous fall) but I agree that fall within a day was within the bottom bandwidth of rainbow chart. Overall, I am confident about reversal of bitcoin market is going to take place by the end of next month or from next year January for sure.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 26, 2022, 04:30:23 PM
I expected a big score in the final. As both the teams are strong, I thought Adelaide Strikers Women's team can give a target of more than 170-180. But they were given a target of only 148 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. However, due to the extraordinary performance of the bowlers, the Adelaide team did not have any problem in winning this match. Every bowler in Adelaide bowled well today. Darcie Brown's bowling in particular was outstanding today.
In first inning which was played by Adelaide Strikers opening stand was good but after fall of first wicket their middle order struggle, and they reach at the target of 147 which was surely not good enough for the Sydney Sixers but after start of second inning Sydney Sixers which was good at batting having bad start and just reach 17 for 4 just after 6 overs which create problems for them and after this poor start they were unable to reach near their target specially Deandra Dottin all-rounder performance was big difference between two teams with player of the season Ashleigh Gardner's first ball wicket was also another big setback for the Sydney Sixers which not able to stop Adelaide Strikers from their maiden title of Big Bash.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 26, 2022, 02:38:32 PM
Arshdeep is a bad bowler and needs to be replaced in all formats while Umran is a decent bowler with a lot of potential who has sparks of Bumrah in him. Sundar is an amazing all-rounder in the ODI and T-20 formats.

India needs more bowlers like Bumrah and Sundar in my opinion. New Zealand outplayed them in the first match, but I still think that the series will end in an Indian win or draw.
Indian cricket is happy to find an effective left-arm seamer (Arshdeep) and you are talking about replacing him  Shocked

He bowls tough overs in the T-20 (Death overs), he does his job beautifully and I guess he proved himself in the T-20. I believe for India he's an excellent find and could go long in LOIs. It was his 1st ODI so he'll learn for sure.
Yeah agreed about this as he is young in this game and need some time as he is doing I have feeling he could be one of the best for the Indian team with his line and length you can't expect good results from very early games he was playing his first game of the career and guys need very quick results which is surely not good stuff. I am also feeling he is the good bowler but need good support from few experiences bowlers like Bhuvei and Nehra if they provide him better assistant for his career this could be good for him and his career.

Here in this match I have feeling instead of having Shardul they need to go with Bhuvei which could be much better for the bowling stuff and these two youngsters as well here target if 306 was good but short ground difficult conditions and SENA all gone against them.

Even a veteran will have a difficult time to know that criteria. That dog logo might just be a hint but it's hard to just associate it because of Elon's presence but yeah meme coins can even get more than that but it's too risky to take. The difficult was on trying to find that meme coin that will be supported by the community.
It's difficult to know if what coin are going to 1kx its price but you can increase your chance of catching it if you based your picks on some criteria like the op have mentioned especially the coin with a low market cap or low supply. There is no science behind it but that is how stuff's work here in cryptos. Add in if the coin has a good utility because that is how it can drive a demand.

People like to invest on them than gambling on coins with no utility or so called meme coins and shitcoins. Speaking of them, they are not only limited to dog but they can come in many form like for example we have world cup event now, so coins with football logo/theme are also coming out. They can sometimes pump too.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: November 25, 2022, 11:38:03 AM
The price drop not only happened to ETH, but almost all cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, of course this is the impact of the market dropping due to the FTX case and exchange wars, but I'm sure ETH will recover soon, and the right opportunity to buy ETH because now the price is on the floor .
ETH only recovers when bitcoin recovers and I also believe that eth is the best investment besides bitcoin. ETH is currently being dumped on the market by FTX hackers. Obviously, this is a good opportunity to buy ETH, and I believe it won't get a second chance.
wrong in that mate, remember that back in 2018 in altcoin season , Ethreum made it on the top while Bitcoin is dumping that whole year.
Well in the end, ETH didn't go over bitcoin, they always stay in 1-2 position exactly as it is. Last year when the market was high, bitcoin price didn't go up as much as ethereum neither, the difference went under 2x for a while, which means that ETH got very close but yet no matter what happens it didn't drop any lower.

This is why I keep saying that it is a lot better if we could like ETH for what it is, but do not consider it as the way bitcoin will go down under first position eventually. I also believe that if one day bitcoin is not the first coin in the rankings, that could be a very risky and dangerous thing as well, I would be a little scared.
970  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 25, 2022, 09:14:51 AM
All casinos will have unhappy costumers that will scream scam but all issues need to be investigated also. Haven't followed really in detail the ongoing accusations but all cases need to have proof and hopefully it all gets resolved quickly.
Don't forget that there are people who want to blackmail betting websites knowing that the forum have a habit of being hard against betting sites. Several times after having long discussions it turns out the accusers were manipulating to take advantage of the sympathy the community shows. So unless an accusation have enough proof, it's completely waste of time for everyone and harassment for casinos too.
That is the biggest problem we have here, people are supporting the complainer a lot more than the casinos, because that has been the case for so many casinos that turned out to be a scammer website. But, stake doesn't have that problem, since they have been here for a long time, that usually means we are talking about people who complain and then others who come here and defend stake.

Like in this case as well, I am sure that stake is right and all will be either fixed, or the trouble will be out in the open and why it happened will be known as well. All in all I am guessing that the best thing would be giving stake more time and they will show the clear reason for it.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: November 25, 2022, 05:34:31 AM
Investment trends will increase because of difficult economic conditions, people prefer investment than working or business, because with investment, when you really need money, it can be taken immediately, but we must be aware of the many investment offers because scams from investment are very large and diverse.
I feel like the reason why they prefer investment is because you do not have to "work" for it. Like if my jobs is to have a lot of money and invest accordingly to make a living, I could easily just put it on some interest or dividend paying stock or staking, all of which gives me income while keep my investment in fact, that means I would be living and also not going to work.

That’s what people love, they do not want to get up early in the morning, put on a suit, go to work, work for 8 hours, then come back home and that’s about 10 hours of your life every single day gone. Nobody wants that and that’s the issue, it’s terrible and would cause a big deal for everyone.
972  Economy / Speculation / Re: A good observer makes a better speculator on: November 24, 2022, 09:08:43 PM
Not all traders have spare money when they start entering the market, sometimes the capital they have will not be able to buy a certain amount of bitcoins, so I prefer to invest when the bitcoin price starts to fall, for some people who don't have a lot of capital, it is highly recommended to buy in conditions like today, in order to make a good investment conversion. In contrast to investors who have enough capital to enter the market at any price, because they are financially strong, and it is true that this really depends on how we trust the market, but more precisely being able to reach the market at the right time.
I would say finding that is more important than investment. If you have just one capital and nothing more, you have a bigger problem than what to invest on. You need to figure out a way to keep investing more and more. I think people will assume I am joking, but a guy who has 100k today, will not make as much profit as the guy who invest into bitcoin 50 bucks a month for the next 30 years.

The reason being, the guy with 100k could end up losing their money while investing, and make mistakes which could cause trouble and there is no recovery for them. Whereas the guy with 50 bucks a month on bitcoin alone and nothing else, no other coins, would make a big profit when you calculate the 30 years alone, plus all the increases that will happen.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 24, 2022, 08:35:03 PM
Juventus finished the round of matches before the world cup very well, i feel they had to show something after being eliminated from the champions league, their manager's job was in danger, the players had to react and they did, their impressive performance took them as high as third position, and back in the competition for the title. The only problem is that Napoli have been too good, they still have a 10 point advantage on Juventus, and i do not see what will affect Napoli's form after the world cup, they would remain strong and will surely win the league with a big gap.
It's also true that Juventus had a lot of injuries and that they were practically playing in an emergency. Not to mention that he had no money to spend on buying or changing coaches (to make the fans happy). The calm and patience in keeping Allegri (who is a good coach) finally paid off once the injured players returned.
An Inter mentality, which changes coaches as soon as the wind blows a little, leads nowhere.
I would guess that it wouldn't make sense to fire Allegri because there were no coaches that they could afford. Even if we stopped looking at the ones that are free agent (the other ones would have to be bought out basically) would mean maybe Tuchel was free to be hired, and I am sure between paying Allegri to leave and hiring Tuchel to come, that would have been easily 10 million gone very quickly, and they couldn't afford that.

So, it wasn't really a voluntary decision but more about the financial situation they are in. If they didn't have to fire Allegri and he freely left, they would be gladly getting someone better but that wasn't an option.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 24, 2022, 07:48:36 PM
Factors in the locker room can be a major factor in Ronaldo's performance decline this season, most of the Man United players can't make Ronaldo develop, especially providing a good supply of balls in passing or to raise Ronaldo's enthusiasm in every game, we can't blame performance. bad from that point of view because in playing football it is 11 players who are responsible for the victory or defeat of the club, not blaming individuals or blaming Ronaldo when playing Ronaldo to be involved in the defeat in the Man United match, if one team can help each other otherwise it will be a solid team, different from Ronaldo when he was at his previous club, Ronaldo always gets good feedback from his teammates, as well as at Real Madrid or Juventus, even Ronaldo broke his record for the most goals, but it's different when Ronaldo plays for club Man United, no u bait that in my opinion can be made into goals by Ronaldo, I hope Ronaldo can find his new club so that his retirement is happily arranged..
I would guess that he wasn't having any friendship there neither, that could be a big problem. Remember this was the team that finished second prior to Ronaldo coming in, and then Ronaldo scored so many goals and hattricks and yet they sucked a lot worse, and that is why there must be something bigger than we know going on.

If you normally have a team that finished second, and add Ronaldo to that, someone who scored bunch of goals for you, that means you should be even better, and for some reason they got worse.

I feel like locker room could be that reason, everyone else played worse because they didn't play well with Ronaldo, that doesn't mean these players are bad, doesn't mean Ronaldo is bad neither, it just means Ronaldo didn't fit with the others.

It is never okay to generalize. There are good exchangers still, you just have to find the best one. Also, given that the issue is still recent, for sure exchangers would take extra caution with their action 'coz they might be tangled with FTX's case instead. Try to calm down, although what happened is unfortunate, it would be worse if you',d be worried that much. If it is really draining on your end, try to pull out your investments for now. Being worried is just fine, but everything that is too much would be bad for sure.
I feel like it’s not about security but the type of person the owner is. If there is an exchange out there which users put their funds in, and the exchange ends up using the user funds to buy a whole company to make bigger profit, that exchange will eventually crash, there is no way back.

What FTX imagined was they would make enough profit from the companies they bought with user funds to pay the users back, and it would allow them to grow bigger because users would keep on investing and it would be sort of like semi-ponzi because the deposits will cover the withdrawals, they had of course some saved aside as well. But we all know market crashed so they did terribly for sure.
976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 23, 2022, 08:49:44 PM
Now it only remains to look at Madrid I think because if he is given as many opportunities as he was at the start of last season it could still be maintained for Asensio but if there are no guarantees like that then it is difficult to see Asensio in the Madrid squad because he still has the desire to improve. especially since he is still very young and still growing.
But as a Madrid fan it would be a shame if he left now because he is still very good, especially on the wing.
I feel like he could leave and real would be fine, people should not overestimate him because real is much bigger than him. Just like they got rid of Bale, they could get rid of Asensio and real would be fine about it. Let’s realize that Real Madrid is a bigger club than any player, they can get rid of ANY player in their roster today, and could replace him with someone a lot better, or even if not, at least replace them with someone that is equally good.

Asensio is not even their best player, he is a bench player that helps when they need him, so if he doesn't sign, then they could easily get some 20 year old kid that could replace him and even get better overtime as well.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: November 23, 2022, 08:18:04 PM
There are 10 Arsenal players who will play in the World Cup and it is difficult to avoid players experiencing injuries in the World Cup, especially if these players are core players who get a lot of playing portions in the national team and this can be detrimental for Arsenal and disrupt what has been built so far, and maybe will be able to change their focus which competition will be the main target.

However, this is not only a worry for Arsenal but many football clubs whose players have to play in the World Cup, which is why this World Cup has received quite a lot of criticism because the schedule which is held in the middle of the season for the big leagues will make players injured and suffer fatigue.
I would hope that they do not get any injuries, they are doing very well right now and anything that could put a stop on their actions would be terrible. However, I am assuming City probably has a lot of players on national teams as well, not sure how many at all, but they are such a good team, they must have a lot.

This means we could end up seeing them injured too, which means if City players are injured and Arsenal players are not, then it could end up with Arsenal actually having a good advantage about this too. That would be quite terrific for them and it would give them a chance to increase the lead over the league and be leaders with a healthy margin thanks to that.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 23, 2022, 06:00:55 PM
I have seen the schedules for this month that at least Dortmund will play for 3 friendly matches and mostly they are the teams from South East Asian teams and today Dortmund first match against the team from Singapore league Lion City Sailors and after that Dortmund will play against Malaysian teams Darul Takzim FC and the last opponent from them is Vietnam national team and i think this is good moves from Dortmund team that while world cup break instead of release their players but Dortmund promote their team to Asian people so besides earn money from this tour they also can balanced fitness players through an these matches
That’s not really a bad idea, not because they can't win or it’s not easy, but more likely about keeping in shape. When you let players go and let them have their fun, it's going to be hard for them to come back and play normally, which means that we are talking about something causing bigger trouble than the fatigue world cup players would have.

This way, they will win easily but they will have a game at least and they will travel, all of which would keep them in shape, and that will give them a chance to come back better when the world cup is over. I personally believe that most teams should do this, only if they still think they can win something and Dortmund wants that second spot in the league.
979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Strategies for Trading. on: November 23, 2022, 03:34:54 PM
The best strategy is to buy low sell high. You won't find a practical and simple strategy like this but without proper money management, this strategy can be failed. So learn about the most important part about trading first then you can learn about those advanced staff. You can do a demo trade to get used to crypto market's price volatility. There is many platforms that profits that kind of service.
It is by far the best one, and yet people are selling even today. Just look at the market and see how much bitcoin was sold just today, some of them let’s assume were sold because people had to pay for some stuff, so they didn't just traded but basically they just ended up focusing on paying for stuff with bitcoin, but even if HALF of all bitcoins sold today were because of that, which we all know is not even close, maybe 5% at most, but still even with that the other half means they sold when the market was at the bare bottom.

Buy low and sell high became sell low and buy when it's already high with hopes of it going even higher. That’s literally what most people do.
980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 22, 2022, 03:13:22 PM
AD is a very dominant big back when he is in the Pelicans a few years ago.
The only problem for him is his health and his body being very fragile and very susceptible to injuries.

Injuries affected him so much that it affects his whole NBA career. Now the Lakers are in a 3-game winning streak thanks to AD's very dominating performance in these 3 games and he is the 3rd Lakers player in franchise history who did 30+point - 15+rebound in 3 straight games alongside Shaq and Elgin Baylor.

Now the only question right now is, will it be sustainable? Will his performance in his last 3 games sustainable to carry the whole team? I expect for his numbers to go down in their next games, so I hope that there will be somebody who will help him offensively if that happen.
Even when he was in pelicans he wasn't really healthy at all times. On the very few years when they played very well and even made to playoffs, he was constantly injured and couldn't bring any glory to the team. So, when he was healthy all the way to finals during his Lakers championship year, it was the only time he could actually won it, he had Lebron with him, and they were both healthy and got good squad surrounding them.

At the end of the day, they are not there anymore, both Lebron being old, Westbrook being old, AD constantly bothered by injuries all his career and now too, no good squad surrounding them, it's just not meant to be this year, and won't be next year neither.
