961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 06, 2023, 01:52:54 PM
      -   Well, of course, for gamblers who only think of it as entertainment, it's easy for them. Because gambling isn't a big deal to them, it's just a pastime.

I’m thinking like this before when I start gambling that I can quit whenever I like since I play just to kill time during my vacation but now I’m still finding to have time just to gamble. I’m not addicted but I want to play gamble even once a week or a month but I can’t totally quit on it. It’s really hard if you really being entertained on the games.

But for gamblers who see this as a source of income, I think they will find it difficult to quit, especially if they often win here, let say once a week they win a good amount here.

And the worst scenario is that if a gambler is still addicted, it is very difficult for sure for those addicted to gambling because there is no self-control in gambling.

Exactly, There’s no way to quit on gambling if you don’t find a way to redirect your attention away from gambling and also if you have a good source of income to sustain bankroll. Gambling is like drugs that you will crave once you get hook on its addictive games and profit possibility.
962  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: July 05, 2023, 06:54:52 PM
A few days ago I left a message to support asking where I can find the history of my games. I still haven't received any response, so I'm asking the same question here.

I played exclusively house blackjack all the time and the results are very strange to me, considering that the game has a house edge of only 0.50%, that is, due to the daily rakeback of 20%, the actual house edge is 0.40% (due to rush hour, it is below 0.40% in the long term). I'm quite below the mathematical expectations and I want to check the history of the games or at least have the support give me information on how much I invested in the game in total. I can easily calculate the rest myself

They only display a very limited bet history on your “my bets” tab beside the latest bet tab. I think they doesn't most of our best history since it will consume a lot of storage if they save it all for all the players. Statistics feature is already on the upcoming soon status on website. This feature might probably answer your question.

The representative here is not always active but he will answer once he read your question. i suggest to go on their discord or email them here info@blackjack.fun if you want quicker answer to your question. It's too bad that they already remove their live chat feature.

964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kyc for accounts or wallets on: July 05, 2023, 06:00:50 PM
kyc puts you personal information and privacy at risk it also gives ability for your transactions to be monitored.
So please before making wallet registrations always read through terms and conditions as well as privacy policy
Or rather get a hard ware wallet especially if you have large amounts of Bitcoin or other crypto currencies

You are definitely describing a Centralized services such as exchange and few custodial wallets that stored KYC information of user. Using this kind of service will surely danger your asset since you are not holding your wallet keys when you are storing assets on custodial wallets. Privacy is not your main problem anymore once you use services that requires KYC.

Part of the Bitcoin idea was anonymous identity of users
so as an asset owner you should support this notion
DON'T FORGET TO KEEP YOUR KEYS SAFE MATE!!

it’s very hard to be completely anonymous on Bitcoin most importantly if you are converting fiat to Bitcoin or vice versa since most the exchange requires KYC and there’s only few decentralized P2P exchange that doesn’t require KYC but with huge price spread than the regular market price. I  think you will have no problem for not being complete anonymous since no one will monitor your transaction if you are not doing illegal. Government or someone will not waste time watching someone wallet without any valid reason.
965  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: July 05, 2023, 05:20:44 PM
I personally believe that every 1xbit user who comes to this forum to complain probably joined this forum after having fallen victim to the scam, because, with the kind awareness already created on this forum, even a person who signed up and have spent just 2 hours online here should come across threads warning about the use of 1xbit.
True. This is what I observed long back and stated several times already which is why it's surprising to see so many members(Especially High Ranking Members) feel confused as to why there are regular complaints despite all the warnings.

Those newbie victims sadly think that creating an account in this forum and complaining about it could somehow resolve their problems, but they couldn't be more wrong.

Once sites like 1xbet, 1xbit etc gobble up your funds, it's pretty much game over excluding a few exceptions.

They only become aware of this forum, after they became victims because when these newbies joined 1xbit they are attracted to ads and the bonuses 1xbit is giving and when they got scammed it is then that they will do research about the status of 1xbit and they will find Bitcointalk because there are so many topics about 1xbit here.
But still good that these newbies take the time and effort to create accusations here because we can continue to establish 1xbit's status as a scam casino

There’s no need to continuosly establish them as scam because they will be always a scammer company with or without new victim come here since forum will not forget all their previous scam action due to their tainted reputation here and also multiple flag which is giving some warning to all non forum user that will read this thread once they search about 1xbit.

They try to rebuild their reputation before they stop half way when they can’t pay all their previous issues. This show how untrustworthy they are because they can’t finish their recovery plan instead they just launch their signature campaign and completely ignore all the issue.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting bitcoin besides the profit making idea. on: July 05, 2023, 02:38:05 PM
A lot of people get rich from bitcoin and also a lot of people fail from bitcoin, why do i say that??. The price of bitcoin is always volatile and a lot of people go into the crowd when they join, and they swing high and low

It's the nature of trading. Even if it's not volatile, There will be a lot of people losing their money if many is winning since trading is just transferring of asset from impatient to patient person that usually take the profit. Trading doesn't generate liquidity out of thin air but rather all those profit is just came from other person money that is on loss.

Volatility on Bitcoin is not the problem at all. People is just too sensitive on price movement and react accordingly that's why many lose while they should be in profit right now if they didn't panic sell on bottom or panic buy during the top.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 02, 2023, 07:58:40 PM
It's time to chase for a ring before it's too late for him, like you, many of us believe he already gave enough time for the Blazers
to bring him a squad that can help him to win a title, but nothing happens.

I remember way back when they face the Warriors in west finals though it's a swept series, but those are the time where they, really
manage to go that far, just some missing piece to add, but it didn't happen, and they are now ended up in this low-performing squad.

Waiting for the trade destination of Dame, hope to see him sign to a competitive team either East or West.

His is only chance to chase for the ring is to join a super team because that’s the norm of NBA nowadays to become a champion. I thougt Miami can dispproved this but they are beaten badly by Nuggets that is a natural super team that built by Nuggets itself and not by acquiring other star players from othe team.

It’s not bad to chase for a championship ring but he is risking his career a lot by changing teams that valued him for a long time. He can be a worthless to other team with their own star if he can’t perform what is expected from him. We witness a lot of super star that is now being valued low because they request to leave the team to chase for championship that didn’t result well. His best chance to get a ring is with Warriors that is now rebuilding but I doubt they have a budget for Dame without sacrificing some of there main players.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 06:48:42 PM
I came across an article How Old Do You Have to Be to Gamble in USA?. In this article, i saw that the minimum age to gamble is between 18 to 21 years. I wonder if the online casino do follow this minimum age for gambling.

Yes, the gambling sites have our age data through the KYC documents. Do they ever restrict anyone who is underage to not to gamble?
Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?

Really it is surprising and a good reminder of the laws in America. To me it feels like this is one area where they get the laws right by being higher than European countries might generally be. 21 is a good age because I think 18 year olds are still not fully aware of all the financial traps in the world and can have their mind warped a bit by the actions of gambling. I'd agree that 21 is a good point to permit it, maybe even higher if you wanted to protect these younger generations who likely have more more productive things they could be spending their money on. Of course it's well known that casinos / bookmakers do not want to target people under 18 because it is illegal in pretty much every jurisdiction.

I don’t believe on the right fixed age for gambling because even a fully grown adult can still become addicted on it ans destroy their life for being financially broken due to the effect of gambling. I really think that casino should set a budget limitation for every players based on their financial status.

Some people is more cautious on younger age because they are still cared to try things and other are gullible to try new things. We have diffent cycle of maturity so it’s very hard to determine the right age for gambling.
969  Economy / Gambling / Re: won cash x drop but no prize?? on: July 02, 2023, 05:56:08 PM
Won this a few weeks ago and haven't received anything. I tried to contact support from the casino I won it at but they don't reply. My VIP host said to contact the game provider but they too didn't reply, not even on twitter.

Anyone know how these contests work? Like shouldn't they just airdrop whatever into the wallet that played the game which won the prize? I shouldn't have to do anything right?

Kind of odd how they promote these competitions so much then when someone wins something they don't even get anything and no one is willing to help them...

The casino itself should be the one contacting the game provider if their users experience this issue on their website. It’s very unprofessional for them to just passed you on the 3rd party game provider without doing their part on contacting the provider as you are their customer. Cashdrop should be drop automatically if you win the contest after the tournament ends.

Can you provide here what’s specific tournament you join so that we read the ToS and help you by understanding the full mechanics of this contest. Upload screenshot too that provng that you really win the contest. You can upload screenshot on talkimg.com and paste the image link here.
970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not Just Buy BTC? on: July 02, 2023, 05:50:14 PM
I've seen over one dozen websites believing that BTC will skyrocket in the upcoming years.
The platform I use is Coinbase.
I'm thinking of just buying BTC-USD and just leaving it be.
Any thoughts on this strategy?

Buying Bitcoin and just hold it is really a good strategy but holding it on a centralized exchange after you purchased without moving it on a non-custodial wallet is a bad strategy because centralized exchange can close their service anytime while your balance is trap inside the exchange. You are lucky if you can recover part of your assets but most cases user lost their holdings once the exchange assets is not sufficient anymore to distribute to users.

Purchase Bitcoin and Hodl it on hardware wallet for long term is the best strategy for everyone in Bitcoin.
971  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's yours feelings about Ku-coin recent moves? on: July 02, 2023, 02:34:45 PM
According to Kucoin official statement, they are going to take this approach to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing etc. I personally used to like Ku-coin a little because without KYC verification my tasks could be completed but from now on it might not be possible here.
I actually want to know your feeling about this :')---
details in- https://www.bitdegree.org/crypto/news/crypto-exchange-kucoin-adopts-stricter-kyc-rules-for-improved-security

Other top exchange to mediocre exchange already required KYC long time ago. I think this move is inevitable since they will need to follow to AML policy to regulate their customers or else they might have issue with the regulators. Almost all centrlized services is already impementing KYC which makes this kind of move normal already. Actually, I’m still impressed to Kucoin for delaying this update while other competitor is already implementing this feature.

We have no choice and also most of us here surely undergo KYC on some crypto services when we want to convert our crypto to fiat.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting bitcoin besides the profit making idea. on: July 01, 2023, 06:18:49 PM
what more other convincible informative characteristics and benefits  can you give out to someone who has no idea about bitcoin besides the wide established knowledge that it is a digital currency that should you invest in for long you're going to be profitable or get rich by credit of a bull run?

Taking out profit as way of encouraging someone to use Bitcoin, I think a better alternative for the bank is the best feature you can sell about Bitcoin to your friend since you can send money person to person without the need a middleman (bank) to do the transaction is the most awesome feature of Bitcoin. You can envision a transaction that no one is tracking you for whatever you are buying compared to banks that your transactions is being traced and sometimes your account will be frozen if you purchased items that is not legal to your country while legal to others.

Bitcoin gives you freedom to deal with anyone without any worries that someone will watch every transaction that you made.

974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KYC propagation beyond my ownership on: July 01, 2023, 03:43:34 PM
Hi all,

Sorry for the confusing title. I'll try to explain:

What if I buy some KYC Bitcoin through an exchange and then move it to a wallet. And then, let's say I either give some of that Bitcoin to someone else (maybe a charity or a friend), or use it to buy something (maybe a used car off Craigslist). At this point, from my perspective, I no longer own that Bitcoin (i.e. it is "beyond my ownership"). But now what if the person who now "owns" that Bitcoin uses it for some illegal purpose? I would have no knowledge of that transaction, but my KYC has "propagated" to the new owner. If that transaction were to be traced, assuming it hadn't been linked with KYC transactions with the new owner's identity, I would be still be the last owner of the transaction from a chain analysis perspective, right? This is not something I've heard discussed before (but admittedly I'm new hear). Seems like a risk.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

This is same with with tainted fiat money on bank. You will be subject for investigation but with right proof or documentation on how you spend Bitcoin then you will be off the hook on the analysis chain of transaction. I don’t believe on tainted Bitcoin especially if the original coins is already splitted in smaller parts and use in different timeframe that will for sending to different ownership.

I think the person who directly send the Bitcoin to the culprit will be the main subject of investigation because most Bitcoin might be come to the hands of illegal transaction since Bitcoin was used on dark web marketplace payment during the early days.
975  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: July 01, 2023, 03:13:08 PM

I guess you are right but many people are still ignorant of simple or terms that they still fail and become victims of their own foolishness, I think I have seen a fair share of many users complain about different betting platform withholding their funds due to one or two reasons but at the end all they are seem to be the ones at fault by violating one or two simple terms put in place by these betting companies.

The problem mainly is that nobody really reads the terms & conditions; personally I just scroll through it very fast also. What I always like to do when I am in doubt (like the use of a VPN or another issue), I would go into livechat and ask about it; that way you are sure that you will not violate any terms.

I never read ToS. I am like BabyGun, I will always turn to live support for all the questions I have... One of the reasons why I don't read ToS is this forum, some members of this forum really have great knowledge and experience regarding gambling in general, and about crypto gambling especially. So, many important questions have already been asked in each ANN topic, and there are also answers from casino representatives.

But when it comes to promotions, giveaways, and similar stuff I always read the terms. Smiley

Typically, Faqs fully covered all the basic question by regular gamblers to have a better experience in the casino. Reading the full ToS is waste of time because it includes detailed do’s and don’t that literally self explanatory if you are a regular players.

The only concern I’m always looking is the wagering requirements and country restriction because that’s all matter to me when gambling to make sure that I can withdraw my funds easily since I’m betting using regular bets without any promotion involved. Most of the problem only arise when user is involved in promotion. I ask support about my concern it involves promotion to make sure that I understand properly the rules.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that if you bounce bitcoin back and forth to different wallets on: July 01, 2023, 02:22:34 PM
that after a certain amount of time the bitcoin becomes practically anonymous? As in, not being able to be traced back to the original KYC exchange, or in the case of "tainted" bitcoin, that?

Nope, It can be track if you even if you do this million times since every transaction is recorded on blockchain. Chain analysis is very powerful these days that can track a certain Bitcoin especially if the transfer has no discontinuity and just normal transfer of funds from different wallet.

Use mixer and your worries about anonymity will be solved since mixer use different wallet that is not connected to the source wallet of your funds. One of the best mixer to do this stuff is [banned mixer] because it has low mixing fee and guaranteed anonymity of mix since 2019.
977  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BlueWallet Default Transaction Fee Option on: June 30, 2023, 04:30:32 PM
I’m using the private key of my specific wallet that I created from Electrum then import to Bluewallet for a compatibility for my ios device. I’m sure that RBF is available when I’m using this wallet on my electrum wallet.

Is RBF feature removed if I use the private key of my specific wallet address instead of importing the seedphrase that containing multiple wallet address?
I think that is what that caused it, because you import private key. (irrespective of the wallet you generate it), instead of BIP39 seed phrase. This is also new to me, but that is just the reason. Electrum has not disappointed like this, but I have learned not to use more than BIP39 seed phrase on Bluewallet if I want to be able to use RBF to pump the fee. Likey also you will not be able to use CPFP also to pump the fee if you are the recipient.

I guess I have no choice than to wait. I confirm this issue by creating new wallet on Bluewallet and send transaction with low fee. The bump fee is available on my recent transaction. So I guess I have no choice here than to wait for my deposit to confirmed. I just hope that it will just drop on the purging range so that I can just send it again for a higher fee.

Thanks everyone.
978  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BlueWallet Default Transaction Fee Option on: June 30, 2023, 02:19:57 PM
I decided to just unlock this to raise new concern. @Omegastarscream, The link that you provide show a method to bump fee which is not available on my current pending transaction. There’s no bump fee option on the bottom part to edit my fee use like what the video tutorial showing.

I’m using the latest version of the app and I tried both android and ios but gives me the same result. I’m wondering if I can use the RBF feature of electrum in case I import my private key from bluewallet to electrum even though I create the transaction on bluewallet?
If the transaction do not support RBF, you can not use Electrum to pump the fee. Check if the transaction support RBF or not.

If you generate the seed phrase on Bluewallet, you should be able to pump the fee using RBF.

If it is a BIP39 seed phrase but the transaction is made on a wallet that do not support RBF, you will not be able to pump the fee, even if the seed phrase is imported on a wallet that support RBF.

Another issue that can occur is if you generate the seed phrase on Electrum (I mean Electrum seed phrase). You will not be able to pump the fee if you import the seed phrase on Bluewallet to make transaction. Like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5422456.msg62055308#msg62055308

Thanks Charles,

I’m using the private key of my specific wallet that I created from Electrum then import to Bluewallet for a compatibility for my ios device. I’m sure that RBF is available when I’m using this wallet on my electrum wallet.

Is RBF feature removed if I use the private key of my specific wallet address instead of importing the seedphrase that containing multiple wallet address?

He deleted most of his old post that result to lose of his activity. The post above of NotATether explained already how activity works. I deleted too some of my old post that result to decrease of my activity from 1000+ to the current count. You will notice that his post count=activity on his profile which means he delete all his previous post which is very painful to do because there’s no delete all post feature on our profile.

He will need a lot of time again to get a high rank since he literally reset his forum rank the moment he deleted his post that is attached to his activity count. Maybe he is trying to start fresh on his account to have a good post history and easy to accept on signature campaign manager since some of campaign manager consider post or activity to merit ratio.
