Well, looks like Ipominer doesnt offer VTC anymore for regular folks, if it is enabled as he said, its now for Danila only. Btw, since that discovery, he cancelled his name in his stats, so now Danila==Anonymous. Just check the stats for neoscrypt (ftc - 95% of reward for danila), zifr(zrc - 100% Danila), X11 (switching, mostly DASH and START - 86% Danila).

..........

Ha, so it really should be called DanilaPool.

What a joke of a pool.

I mined there for a good long time.  After this I don't mine there anymore.

Makes sense.  Thanks for the explanation.

But i have a lot of BTC in "Unexchanged" and they are not moving to "ready for payout" for nearly two days.

Same for me.

Has this pool been extraordinarily lucky the past week?

I have been tracking my profits in a spreadsheet for months and I only just switched to this pool a week ago from ipominer.  My profits here for the past week have been almost twice my weekly average over there going back months and months.

Altcoins mining landscape constantly changes and Litecoin mining became more profitable in the last month than it was before. That said, CleverMining usually delivers higher mining profits than you can earn anywhere else. I'm glad to read that you switched to CM and you're happy with it Smiley

I wish I had tried this pool a long time ago.  When the scrypt asic scene looked like nothing new was going to happen around the time bitmain abandoned their miner and knc's miner appeared to be so problematic I bought another 50Mhs of gear to add to what I already had since it looked like the arms race was slowing.  I'm glad I did too because it really hasn't become unprofitable for me, but after switching to this pool it looks like the lifespan just increased even more.

Don't RECOMAND this shit pool something definitely wrong with the payout queue...

I have been trying to say this for days that something is wrong with the payout queue, no one seems to care. My payout queue started at 13 blocks till payout, 10 blocks later still at 11 blocks till payout.  I should be at 3 blocks till payout, starting to question if they seriously broke something during the last upgrade.

Some of my friends I recommended to this pool who have the hashing power to enter payout queue immediately 17 blocks later and 7 days still no payout.

I like the pool, I just wish they would fix the problem.

I don't currently mine here, but I believe the payout queue here is first in, last out. Have you taken that into account?

They haven't.  I have been mining here for something like a year and a half and this happens all the time.  People don't understand how it works and they post about it here.  It might be helpful though if wizkid stayed more on top of the queue length.  So that maybe if it gets beyond 10 he can do a manual payout and get it caught up again.  But for a zero fees pool I can understand why he wouldn't make it such a huge priority.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins + merged mining! on: June 27, 2015, 12:16:39 AM
This is you ipominer, this is who you are associated with, this is who you stick up for.

Ipominer are you a fan of open source software?  Well guess what because Danila decided to make IZABELCOIN LTD and use open source software for profit, he is in violation of whatever license cpuminer and sgminer are under.  Maybe you don't want to stick up for the vertcoin community, that's obvious, but how about sticking up for the open source community.  Do the right thing, ban Danila for so many legitimate reasons, or keep him on for greed.

Speaking of greed, why haven't you raised your fees to 10% yet?  You can easily get them from Danila since you've already said no respectable miner would pay 3% to mine with you.

You're clearly missing the point. We have no control over why or how users mine with us -- if there's 100% illegitimate mining taking place, we do our best to ban it. We are a mining pool, nothing more. It's hardly under our purview to somehow be the arbitor of restricting legal software distribution methods. Let's be realistic.

It's malware.  It is using your pool.  You know about it.  <--Everything that needs to be said.

I have moved my miners I hope everyone else does too.

You know I have to say it looks pretty bad that you removed all signs of VTC mining from the website while you still continue to mine it, or let danila mine it.  That makes you look guilty.  Shoot, I liked this pool.  Guess I have to find another now...
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins + merged mining! on: June 25, 2015, 06:25:37 PM
Is that true?  Did you change the stats display to hide evidence of bot nets?  I came here to see if there was anything about why the stats were changed (they were certainly better before) but if this is about making it harder to spot a potential bot net from other miners that's pretty lame.

A few people contacted me, concerned that their hashrate by username were publicly accessible. (As screenshots were being posted with them.)

On review, I can't come up with a good argument of why they should be. Seeing hashrate by username for other miners isn't actually useful beyond "interesting", and there's certainly a valid point that some people don't appreciate the lack of privacy. I'm trying to figure out a good middle approach, which includes the usual option that pools give to appear 'anonymous' in hashrate reporting.

Well I agree that there is nothing actually useful from seeing other user names but I sort of liked being able to see how often I was finding blocks in the block list.  I also liked being able to see how many other miners were mining a coin and their hashrate.  If it simply said:
AnonymousMiner1 xxx hashrate
AnonymousMiner2 xxx hashrate
you (meaning me) xxx hashrate
AnonymousMiner4 xxx hashrate

that would be fine with me.  I do see that I can still see the pool hashrate on the coin but it was easier to look at the list and get an idea if a lot of people were mining it and if any heavy hitters were on it.  Especially with new or kind of obscure coins, lots of people and people bringing leased hashrate brings a little more confidence that the coins is worth mining.  May be just psychological since any coin can tank but I liked that setup.

I used to mine on mmpool and they use a sort of SID for each miner.  They show all stats but you basically have to look at your individual stats and compare them to the list to see what your own SID is.  But your SID never changes either so once you get used to recognizing it you can see where you sit in the list.

http://mmpool.org/statistics

If you were logged in and mining you could see your own stats at the top but you can go look and see exactly what I mean anyway.  It shows everyone's stats and also shows who the block finders are in the block list.

I'm really missing the comedy over at hushtalk. That was a daily dose of comedy for free.
Where are the hushtards hanging out nowadays?

They really cant be still delusional about all this?!
At what point do they all admit we were right all along and come and apologize?
Me too Sad

hashclub.org and paycointalk are just as retarded and funny as hashtalk was

any thread in particular?

Come on, don't be lazy Smiley

https://hashclub.org/topic/514/cloud-mining-system-that-pays-paycoin

genius. pure genius. my sides are in fucking orbit Cheesy

So there's where the whales hide, i was always wondering.
People throwing between 165 and 500 DOGE at each other, insanity!

They need to make a cloud miner that pays out in fresh fish, because that keeps its value as long as a Paycoin.

Link to fishminer pre-order scam incomming.

And suckers are still lining up to buy XPY before the price plummets with the release of the Hashtaker coins. The lack of common sense in these Paycoiners is truly astounding.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/xpybtc

I wish I was feeling more motivated... if I where I would start the BDSM coin, clearly there are alot of Paycon users that enjoy pain and abuse.

But sadly I am not feeling all that motivated today

That's a good idea.  You could set it up so that a portion of each wallet balance randomly gets sent to an address controlled by yourself and tell them "reverse staking will create scarcity which will drive the price up".  That's the kind of horse shit those people seem to fall for.  Meanwhile you just dump those coins every day back to the suckers on crapsty of course.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Genstake [GEN] GUARANTEED STAKE EVENT [STAKE-MINE] [SCRYPT] [FULL POW/POS] on: June 14, 2015, 04:35:13 AM
I think a lot of people are just waiting to see what happens with this coin.  The fact that you are still here and still working on improving it and adding features is about the best thing you could say about any coin and it bodes well that you are staying involved.

I am a miner so I will mine whatever is profitable.  Usually that means I trade coins for BTC.  But I am still of the opinion that BTC needs major overhaul to be an "ideal" crypto-currency and there is no way that the necessary changes it needs would ever be implemented because consensus is impossible.  So sooner or later someone will come up with that "ideal" coin (or close enough to ideal anyway) that eventually eclipses BTC because it just works as a currency better.  With that in mind I occasionally hold coins that I mine that seem like they could fit the bill.  The problem usually is that the dev disappears (or just sucks) or in the case of something like dark/dash the premine kills it.  Always something makes it less than it could be.

Personally I also find staking an attractive alternative to POW mining.  POW mining in the long run seems unsustainable for a coin because of the asic race, power consumption, and carbon foot-print.  So staking seems like a good alternative.  But pure POS or a POW start followed by pure POS still winds up being most advantageous to the early adopters which discourages later entry, especially in a market that is saturated with so many alt-coins.  The compromise of genstake is interesting in this regard so I am interested to see how it works in the long term.

How about the part where Hope Garza Vowels comments "A wonderful mentor...." under that photo of Scamero the Clown and those kids.  Is he mentoring kids on how to be a d-bag, a-hole scam artists these days?  Someone needs to buy Hope Garza Vowels a fucking clue.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Genstake [GEN] GUARANTEED STAKE EVENT [STAKE-MINE] [SCRYPT] [FULL POW/POS] on: June 14, 2015, 12:23:02 AM
It's tough when I feel like I'm the only one tooting our horn out there. People in Genstake seem to be accumulating and staying quiet, people out of it are playing wait and see, and I feel like I'm talking to myself sometimes - which is a little bit frustrating when I see the crazy number of people connected to the nodes and the number of unique visitors hitting the site I just put up.

Anyway, that's the big and small of it. Always looking for talented, trustworthy, and dependable developers, designers, and marketing experts that want to help out with the project;)

There have been a ton of coins that get started and then the dev drops off the face of the earth or they were always meant to be pump and dumps.  Time will tell but this is not the first time a coin has had a fairly good beginning, and this one has been very good so far, but coins that start off well and tank are all too common.  So you may well be the loudest supporter for a bit until people get some confidence in the longer term prospects of this coin.  I am both mining and staking though and there are certainly many others.

I have a question about the staking though and apologies if it was addressed earlier in the thread.  Is it based on coin age?  More specifically, if I restart my wallet will I retain my staking weight?
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: hashra.com asic scrypt.... scam? on: May 20, 2015, 04:40:17 PM

suckmoon, good luck constantly throwing shit at the wall trying to get something to stick..  Grow up, or just waste your time with the FTC, and stop being a drama queen/fudster here.

You have it wrong.

Bitcoin has been plagued by scams since the beginning and suchmoon makes a point of calling out scammers.  That isn't just fud, it's taking responsibility for protecting noobs from getting ripped off - which keeps happening.  It's embarrassing and it hurts crypto-currency mainstream adoption.  Frankly there should be more people calling scammers out.

When people resort to name calling to support their position it always means the same thing, their position is weak.
