981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: July 23, 2021, 06:42:52 PM
I would peacefully hold then go for mining. I have experience in both. I had to spent more time and energy towards mining. but obviously holding did not require all these except my patience. Just need to keep updating oneself with news around the coin we are holding. Always choose the best coins. Choosing the right coin will certainly yield a good profit when holding and selling at the right time.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 23, 2021, 06:26:48 PM
I think it is hypocritical to scold Musk when he criticizes Bitcoin, and to praise him when he is optimistic about Bitcoin. I think he should take his thoughts and concerns about Bitcoin seriously, because many outsiders have these ideas. But at the same time, people should ignore his flip-flops on Twitter or act like a child. Elon Musk is just a person like everyone else. Stop using Elon Musk as an argument for or against Bitcoin, but actually listen to what he has to say and think about whether you have the answer.

We are not hypocrites, we support Bitcoin. What do you think we are going to do?

Though people criticize Musk for recent crash, all crypto currency lovers still do expect his positive tweets towards Bitcoins and other crypto currencies. Since he is one among who can move market up and down, his each small positive comments on crypto currency has become an important factor being looked at.

However, crypto will still be on its own trend besides who would manipulate now and then.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: July 19, 2021, 07:01:43 PM
There is a possibility for $100k in near future. As said, once in 4 years, its trending up and reaching a new height. Just see, this thread was started in Jan and recently an all time trend was set this year after Elan's tweet. Like wise, still many huge business men would pitch in accepting BTC as payment to their products.

If I ever gain huge profits when bitcoin reaches $1m and if i am live, then yes i would certainly help needy.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 19, 2021, 06:44:58 PM
in the last few days, I see more and more people posting they won from the lottery which is in pancakeswap
what surprises me is this account that claims he won 37.583 $CAKE or the equivalent of $548 (sorry I saw it wrong before)

what do you think, have you tried?

https://twitter.com/SAFUSHARK/status/1413012961778495491

I remember when ONE was listed on Binance Launchpad, I participated and own around 50k ONE on lottery for trading more volume on it. A nice platform designed in Binance first then other good exchanges followed it I suppose. Recently I own few WRX from Wazirx exchange for just trading SHIB INU on lottery. You would certainly be in profit if you choose the right coin.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 19, 2021, 06:29:18 PM
I got interested in betting before I even registered on this forum... So I'm not just doing it for the signature rules, but also for fun... But I think a lot of people here have started betting after participating in signature campaigns!

Yes. to be frank, I like to restart gambling after going through all these discussion. When you discuss over and over on few things, you tend to either completely fall into it or love to make a try to it. I remember, I once was lucky enough to win some btc on a betting site in 2017. I gained bit in the beginning but later, obviously lost much. There I stopped as the fund I had became empty.
986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: July 19, 2021, 06:06:56 PM
maybe it will apply to some people, but many of us who experience failure in trading, because trading is not as easy as we think. so that many people prefer to invest, which will sell it when the bullrun occurs. or those who are already good at trading also invest, for the safety of their funds

Right, everyone tend to fall into trading seeing others gaining profits. Many do end up giving up loosing. The reason behind is, unaware of on what they are investing. Many do not deeply analyze the coin or follow updates on the coin they have invested. The winner here is those who constantly update themselves with what is going around the coin they have invested and those who knows and follow trends movements.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 19, 2021, 05:50:26 PM
It depends on friendly matches. There are friendly matches among two teams or players. But what about friendly matches between a boxer or a vlogger for example? If there is a friendly match between two soccer or basketball teams, I might not gamble at all. You cannot make a very strict analysis on it because you can hardly take into consideration their statistics and performances. The match is friendly so there is not much at stake. But if it's a boxing match between a professional boxer and a social media influencer I might be attracted to bet on the boxer.
Friendly matches comprising of teams is much easier because you can easily see which one is going to win because you know whose side has the best player and who doesn't have one meaning that you can easily distinguish which one is the best one to choose.

Again, it depends on the match. In a friendly match, I would assume that there is not much competition. There is no rank to chase, no championship to reach, etc. Moreover, losing does not mean one gets eliminated or losing the chance to reach the finals, or losing the belt, etc. This means that you could hardly expect players to give their all as if there is a lot at stake. A friendly match is one in which players would just play and enjoy. There is no sense of urgency to win.

There is a higher chance for a stronger team to lose to a weaker team in a friendly match than in a regular one.

I even remember a strong player who supposed to contribute towards his team's win, has intentionally played lethargically and lost. Later he was given penalty for assisting the gambler who bet on his team loose the match. Money is the ultimate addiction here for players and gamblers. Both at times work together on a large scale behind the scene.
988  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading needs consistent attention and full concentration on: July 19, 2021, 05:25:35 PM
considering the fact that trading is highly profitable and responds majorly to knowledge and skills, this means its needs full attention and concentration consistently. i have  noticed alot of new and upcoming trader gets carried away easily with little profits or loss. this makes many to quit or feel complascent. becoming a good trader is like going to a school, you do all necessary things consistently without any distraction untill you succeed. this is one of the things that i feel is needed to incorporate into trading learning process and lifestyle.

Right. Need to consider trading as a serious and professional platform where one has to constantly update oneself. As like, one is responsible and dedicated towards his/her career, trading should be taken in seriously. Better to even spend a percentage of amount to learn techniques, graphs moments and etc which is the key of trading.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 19, 2021, 05:02:17 PM
I kind o like feeling in control of my finances and that means controlling my spending and being very aware of what goes in and what goes out. I normally check my accounts every month and may make a few decisions on what to spend next month if things are not looking correct. One of the things I do is to set aside 10% of my income for things that I really do not need - expensive clothing, gadgets and electronics, books, games,... and part of that is gambling. For me, a reasonable gambling budget is 3 to 5% of my income, although I may allow more if I have some extraordinary income that month. How do you plan your gambling or fun budget?

Hei really nice to hear the way you plan your expenses. I have set of commitments, so I direct my income to them every month. Besides these, I would have 25% of my income in hand. I rarely used my money for gambling once or twice. Since I was not happy with the outcome, I did not try going for it then. It would have been lack of knowledge on where and on whom I bet. I always prefer for new gadgets, electronics and food than spending on gambling.
990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 18, 2021, 07:51:22 PM
As I said earlier, no prediction can be made about the performance of the Bangladesh team. With no continuity of the performance of their players. In today's match, Zimbabwe batted first and gave Bangladesh a target of 241 runs. But Bangladesh lost their valuable 3 wickets in just 50 runs. But I am happy because after a long time we can see a good inning from Shakib. He has scored 63 runs and is still at the crease.

If Zimbabwe wins today's game, then they will gain 10 very valuable points. Given their next 3-match series is against Ireland, there is still a chance that Zimbabwe need to play qualifier tournament for the next ODI world cup. BTW, Bangladesh doesn't have much to worry, as they are already comfortably placed in the Cricket World Cup Super League. Zimbabwe's win will be more of a headache for team such as South Africa and Sri Lanka (with today's win, Zimbabwe will move to 12th position, while Sri Lanka will be relegated to 13th).

Zimbabwe also lost today's match. With the help of Shakib Al Hasan's excellent performance, the Bangladesh team has won today. Shakib Al Hasan has made a great comeback today. Shakib has not performed well in the last many matches. Although he was successful with the ball, after a long time we saw better batting than him. He has performed well today in the needs of the team. If Shakib did not play well today, Bangladesh would not win.

Zimbabwe once again lost a match from a winning position. I would rate Brendan Taylor as the worst captain in international cricket right now. The way he got out (hit wicket) was really appalling. And then he made the wrong moves while Bangladesh were chasing the target. I was perplexed when he called up Tendai Chatara to bowl the 49th over. If Zimbabwe had even a slight chance for a win, they lost it at that point. Richard Ngarava and Luke Jongwe had overs left with them, and they could have bowled the penultimate over instead of Chatara.

Congratulations to India for such a massive win. They just destroyed Sri Lanka. Feels bad for Ranatunga...  Grin

Yah the way Indian spinners bowled was amazing. They took wickets and yes that really contributed a lot. Dhawan's lead with young players was thrilling today. IPL really brought these young players more confidence and exposure which was the base for them to rock today. Expected a quick win by 25th over. However, it was a good treat on Sunday for all WFH.
991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 18, 2021, 07:34:54 PM
I don't prefer to bet on these types of friendly matches because the outcome cannot be predicted on them and you can't place a bet if you don't know any of the possible outcome even with such odds. You can't do any analysis as both the team specialties are not much known and they can make any moment change in between the match so don't prefer bets on them.

We might still end up loosing even after choosing the right team with best players. I have lost around $1000 on IPL cricket match. But really gained some in the beginning which really pushed me to go further with huge amount.  Its really at times hard to predict. We might have predicted something but what happened might have been at times surprising. At times its based on the luck I would say.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 18, 2021, 07:16:41 PM
As long as they won't know how to deposit, that would still be fine. But too bad that some kids have also access to their parent's funds and the parents do not notice what their kids are up to.

Kids these days are fast learners and some are more expert in something like that than their own parents. if they are still underaged, the role of parents must limit these things. and cases like that a lot happened like credit card bills linked to their parents' cellphones used for gambling in some games.

Yes recently I heard a news that a kid who was given a mobile for online studies, used it to play games which required payments. And this kid, unknowingly used her father's credit card and have almost lost more than $20000. This has become a new challenge for parents to monitor.

Now everything is streaming online which made everything accessible easily from where we are. Best advice is to refrain from getting into mobiles more.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binomo scam? on: July 18, 2021, 06:59:18 PM
Mate may I hear your voice if Binomo is scam or not?
For me they look like Binance especially for their personal Verification. But I want to hear your opinion about this.

I have seen many advertising Binomo on social medias like Youtube, facebook and instagram. Might be a trusted one. But my question is, why should you go for Binomo when you have number of good exchanges. You are investing your money so always choose the best exchange that has large trading volume and which secures your funds safely.
994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: July 18, 2021, 06:42:09 PM
I am a newbie on this forum. My main focus is trading ( crypto) I have been trading for a couple years. Just curious to ask a question : what was your worst mistake ( in the very beginning, 1st year).
Would be happy to read about your experience !

Two worst mistakes I have made were just because of impatience. When my coin (the coin where I invested ) price was not moving up as I expected, I sold all the coins at loss and moved to other coins which was on uptrend which later trended down where again I was in deep loss. This was the biggest mistake I made twice and lost almost $1000 where my principle was $2000.

Never get off in between. Never buy a coin that is already on uptrend. You will certainly be at loss. Always be patient. Later, I have earned much following it.

As I am Perosnally Thinking that we can't Ignore this meeting,
what you people can think? Share Your views

Really a good news to crypto community. Recent tweets of Elon Musk, really impacted the crypto market. Bitcoin has seen a ever time height in price after 2017 and obviously fallen down drastically 50% now after his tweet on not accepting bitcoin as payment.

I really, love to see a welcoming change after this meeting if happens so. Because I have invested in one of the top coins. So expecting a good change after four weeks.
996  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: July 18, 2021, 06:11:13 PM
Some people are born rich or moderately rich, some are born middle class and some are born poor or extremely poor. All these conditions come along with a set of survival guides that the parents, relatives and even teachers will pass along as a map of life. For example, in a school of a country that does not give opportunity to its people, where most of the students are poor, it is unlikely that the teachers will induce them to think big or have big dreams...more likely they will aim to keep them apart from drugs, avoid problems with the government and try to imbue some basic skill for life. The ultra-poor do not even get that - which actually may be better.

In a preppy school, where most of the students are rich-born, the conversation is quite different. Culture, life, opportunity, spirit-de-corps and class mentality are imbued in the same manner, so the kids will somehow justify in their minds that they have the right to be rich even if they have not done anything for anyone in their lives - perhaps not even for themselves - because of some Darwinian property of cosmos.

As a result, the poor and even middle class have to jump over one real barrier, their lack of funds, and more importantly, like the Elephant that learns young that he cannot break the chains and never tries again, over their own state of mind, their own prison set by the terms of those who trying to help taught them to avoid anything but doing the same that keeps them poor.

A good topic. People at any stage, try to be rich. This is being the core target in each one's life. When one travels towards it, as you said, too many face struggles. Here where their ability to sustain or achieve is challenged. Many just give up consoling themselves as what they have is enough, but others, step forward either risking themselves in any business they know and succeed or loose based on where they have put up the business. Those who were born poor become rich or who were born rich, learn to main their standard or upgrade.
997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get trading advice and tips from? on: July 18, 2021, 05:48:32 PM
These days, as more people become more aware of forex and cryptotrading, There are a lot of people giving unsolicited advice and tips as regards the subjects. The big question is who and where do you take your trading advice and tips from?

Do you get your trading advice and tips from a self acclaimed trading guru on YouTube or some social media platform who sometimes make most of their money from selling courses and not really trading?
Or do you take trading advice from this forum?

Do you get advice and tips from some telegram group you joined? Or do you get advice and tips from your friends?

I went through few video clips from youtube in the beginning where I learnt the basics especially when and where to place orders. Then learnt few important things by my own from my experience when trading. Social media played an important role.

Even learnt from our discussion here as well. Still learning. Your patience is the only key to gain profits in trading.
998  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin be infinite? on: July 17, 2021, 07:30:34 PM
The Simpsons, in an episode of the 32nd season, data on the virtual market shows that the development of Bitcoin is a symbol of infinity. For us, green means rising.
Do you think Bitcoin will be unlimited in the future?

Bitcoin will be in a position where only whales can buy it in future. Its value is going to be huge. I would be considered as a asset and many would tend to buy as much as possible they could like that of gold and lands. Its growth would be spectacle as more investors would fall into it. BTC always holds highest trading volume in every exchanges. Adoption is increasing and this is the sign of its huge growth.
999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is point of Tehnical analysis? on: July 17, 2021, 07:18:41 PM
Sideways trends have proved that technical analysis doesn't always mean anything.

About a month ago we hit 30k, and TA is constantly predicting a breakout up or down, usually up, but instead the market crabs sideways, something only a few people predicted, and most of them didn't use technical analysis to figure it out.

TA is such a pointless endeavor in a market that is so controlled and volatile by the current BTC price action, especially if it is dependent upon the behavior of whales.

What do you think about it?

When the trend is on sideways as you said, do not place your orders for either buy or sell. Often sideways trend, tend to fall down unless and until there is a good news on the concerned coin and the trend goes up. Technical analysis is always mandatory. Just choose coins which has up and down trends. Those are the currencies that will bring profits.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: July 17, 2021, 07:03:30 PM
Bitcoin is a new currency. And there are many areas where internet is not available. So, without internet crypto currency is nothing. Because it is used only over the internet. In developed countries internet facility is available. So, there peoples know about this currency and trade in this currency. So, i think this is the reason.
For your information Bitcoin is 12 years old! I don't think we can consider it still new but rather a mature and great accomplishment in the realm of economics!
As for the rest of your comment, it really depends on what you want to do with BTC because even if there's no internet and I want bitcoin long term, I can easily create a paper wallet and have the BTC sent to it. And I can do it without Internet.
Yes, that's right, Bitcoin has shown its maturity. Bitcoin is not new, it has been around for a long time until its glory until now. Maybe he's new to bitcoin. However, we always hope that the future of bitcoin will be long as new investors grow in the bitcoin world. So for that, when they are profitable, they also have to give feedback about bitcoin, not only when they lose and then make negative content about bitcoin because of their own disappointment.

There might be a less possibility of medias spreading news on bitcoin or on any other crypto currencies in and around where he lives. It does even matter of whom he is surrounded with.

Recent height of BTC to $61k, really astounded huge investors and brought them into crypto currencies. There was a talk everywhere on medias about bitcoin and doge if you remember of Elon's tweets impacts on crypto market. Media plays a great role here.
