Guldencoin is my favorite coin, but the only thing that is holding me back from currently investing more is that it hasn't evolved into a PoW/PoS hybrid yet, once that's the case I go all in  A hybrid can work to give people interest but a PoS only would be not so good because then all the power with the people who hold coins. I notice with PoS no one buys coins because there is no need when you earning coins for free. Watch Potcoin price drop over next month or two, it's already down from over $400k USD cap. I think security is priority number one, so from that perspective it's essential that Guldencoin becomes some sort of PoW/PoS hybrid. Concerning avoiding the situation that people will sit on their coins rather than spend it, it depends on the amount percentage of PoS. I think 3.5 percent is the ideal situation, in that case investing in Guldencoin is a rewardering enterprise, but at the same time the percentage is low enough to ensure liquidity. It reminds me of the day when the Dutch Guilder was doing great in the Netherlands and banks still gave some interest (2.5-3 percent). That monetary system was great, now we have the opportunity to bring that system back to life. But creating a PoW/PoS hybrid is essential in order to be able to do so. I think it should become priority number 1 right now... Lets see what this dev team comes up with next. |

After the halving EFL will be a top 80 coin on coinmarketcap at a price of 7000 and nice btc profits for everyone who bought at these levels. im trying to point that out since we hit 200 not that it has been an easy task with NLG supporters dumping their shit on us and an inflation that scares your momma, but fundementals are too strong and dev's are too skilled. Our volume has been higher than inflation since a year, but economic understanding in the bitcoincommunity is simply not there, thank god we fish outside this small pool. NLG could expand into Europe in that case the supply they have will be fine but for a countrycoin it has to many coins. I am getting plenty of connections but am unable to sync my wallet using the latest mac client, there is a message about upgrading litecoin that shows as well. Any ideas?
You sure you not using a backup of your litecoin wallet. it can be confusing because of the litecoin and efl addresses being the same. Don't think so, I assume the message is because EFL is a litecoin clone, I took a screenshot  I downloaded windows wallet and it sync'd after a 5 restarts but Mac Wallet I also have the same problem. I would suggest downloading windows wallet onto a PC and send coins off to one of the exchanges . |

Current 24hr blocktime of less then 3 minutes (because of a lot of dedicated hash), will make reaching the 250k block and blockrewardchange from 1000 to 100 4 days sooner then expected first. You are absolutely right here let's hope Nocks brings this feature soon  Litepaid have their hands tied and I won't say more on this but they are the only option and still provide a valuable service. Nocks is a service that allows us to pay at bitcoin merchants and bitcoin at guldencoin merchants, I wish it did provide a payment gateway for merchants because then more community would be encouraged to add merchants knowing EFL can't benefit. |
