261  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal of Ban Appeal: “hacker1001101001” spammer-sockpuppet menagerie on: April 16, 2020, 05:14:10 AM
Use "Report to moderator" and report the posts that break the rules. I doubt there was only one plagiarized post.

A wall of text is unlikely to convince moderators to just ban him again for a previously reported issue.
Funny, moderator deletes more on topic posts from genuine people and leaves the ones from trolls from this very thread too. I wonder how effective the report on plagiarism would be. Seems there is on going moderation bias by somebody.

Leaving it here in case it does end up being so.  Waiting on that summary of usernames before proceeding.
263  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nutildah, aka CoinClarity is an ignorant crypto fraud on: April 15, 2020, 07:53:55 AM
That's in addition, of course, to the over 11,300 individual commits you can see with a trivial effort in the history of revisions that right there in the repository.
I have just checked the last page, and most of your commits are individual and trivial 1 line changes i.e. SPAM commits. Quantity has nothing to do with quality. This project is a scam and it will remain tagged as such.

nutildah time create a flag against ACGCrypto and add it to OP. I will support it.

I bet he just forgot to mention it. I think it's genuinely possible to forget some of the sockpuppets when you have so many.
I know!

To me it is just an impersonator
Can we get a summary list of all accounts involved? Will make it easier to make something like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5238497.msg54219192#msg54219192.

268  Economy / Reputation / Re: Autopsy Bumping Groups. on: April 13, 2020, 12:10:57 PM
I made threads few days ago about those two projects. Goldario is just another ponzie hiding behind eco mining, while CryptoParadise is signal selling group that had older ANN, but their OP was tagged for involvement in another scam, so they had to start now one i guess.  Here are threads about them in scam accusation board:

Goldario
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239520.msg54196482#msg54196482

CryptoParadise
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239569.msg54198161#msg54198161

Good work. Supported both. Where evidence or signs of scamming activities are found, then individual threads should be opened yes. In their absence, bulk threads of ANN bumping projects are sufficient.
269  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT-members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: April 13, 2020, 04:31:26 AM
My exclusion is nothing personal, and I don't do it often. You've improved your Trust list and sent feedback a lot, taking away most of the reasons behind my exclusion. Thanks for that. I'll see how this develops for a few weeks, after that I'll consider removing the exclusion.
Essentially all frivolous ratings. Very good reasons to consider removal. Roll Eyes

Added another flag. Randomly cross-stumbled bout some old rating. Would be very difficult to create a flag for each tagged account seller though.
Up.
Removed a flag. Up.

273  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2020 Q2) on: April 11, 2020, 02:13:23 PM
-snip-
BUT! Later I just watched their videos and had seen many different faces and heard many different voices. For me this is not the cheating, in my campaigns only multi accounts are prohibited, not real teams. Like you, in practice I meet many cheaters and scammers in my campaigns and always make decisions based on evidence. We are not talking about the quality of their videos here (it’s not high).
I make 50 accounts, hire 50 people to make videos and rake in most of the money myself while paying them pocket change. This is not cheating? Do you want me to enrol myself into all your bounties and leave 0 spots for other people[1]? I ask again, this is not cheating? Roll Eyes It is very very easy to play most of the campaign managers, including you bubalex. Do not fall for these schemes. KYC verification does not work, video proof does not work. There is no such thing as "teams" and other bullshit cheating excuses.

[1] Theoretical, trivial. I do not actually touch any bounty campaigns.
Lol. Do you think those bounties pay straight thousands of dollars? so that a cheater hire 50 video creators and join a bounty program and take 50 spots alone?
you know what? I have tried that once. I hired a writer to write an article for my blog. I paid him $50 for that review he wrote for that ICO. I used that to enroll in a bounty program and what I earned? only $20 worth of tokens. after exchanging them I was ended up with $10. (and I never dared to do that again.)
I know there is a lot of cheatings and cheaters use a lot of ways to manipulate bounty programs. but not how you are assuming.
QFR. Admission of wrongdoing. Your anecdotal case is irrelevant and does not change the data nor the facts.
274  Other / Meta / Re: POLL: Initial merit provided to older established accounts on: April 11, 2020, 02:09:46 PM
Most of the contributions to this forum prior to 2013 are immeasurably more valuable than what passes as a contribution today.
Correct, but those contribution authors usually actually earned merit! See my proposal:

What theymos should have done is that the starting merit for all older ranking members who earned next to no merit in the following 12 months since introduction (next to no being a proportionate % limit of what they had, e.g. if they had not earned at least 10% of what they had) would have been wiped out (0, including smerits). This would have helped the forum considerably and caused next to zero damage to innocent users.

This was my thinking, and I have yet to find some use cases where this would cause more trouble than benefit. Satoshi and similar very contributing posters would be unaffected. Occasional contributing poster that is inactive for half a decade would be affected, but who cares? There is no actual damage done there (and we can resupply the cases which we find with merit afterwards anyway).

The issue boils down to one thing: they were here when it mattered!
Irrelevant.

And let's face it, editing a. csv file with 2 million lines if a bit nerve wreking for an old and reputable project like bitcointalk.
It's high time we get confortable with the idea that things will not be undone.
About 5 minutes to write a script, about 10 seconds of execution time depending on hardware. What exactly would be the issue?

Only thing I don't really like is calling me a scammer without any proof or investigation, you can join my discord server and any of the members I have can vouch for me and my tips. Next time please read what the service is actually about.
You are a scammer, therefore it is acceptable to call you such.
