621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fortunejack refusing to pay 5 BTC *STAY FAR AWAY* on: February 24, 2020, 09:51:09 PM
I guarantee you 98% of the logins we are accessing the site from different IP's. I'm sure there have been times where we have been logged in at the same time on different IP's.
If you can prove this, sure if not you need to drop this. Thanks.
Actually he has some valid ground now , if FJ considers he's using another account , "PaDugan"  , then why would they process the withdrawal for the other account they're accusing him of owning .
Do you want me to post a screenshot of him getting $50 billion from FJ? Screenshots of alleged email conversations are evidence of nothing - faking email conversations is beyond trivial. Time to get educated, we do not live in the 90s. Until FJ confirms this has happened, he has no valid ground.

Copying from the other FJ site thread:

I reviewed the "shared" IP address and discovered this IP belongs to my my work office wifi. Once I got that info I was able to confirm that 'PatDugan' (not his real name) is a coworker of mine.
Usually it is brother/sister/friend/aunt/uncle/25th-removed cousin, but this works too.
624  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fortunejack refusing to pay 5 BTC *STAY FAR AWAY* on: February 23, 2020, 04:01:13 PM
Every single claim of this type brought against FortuneJack has been false AFAIK. Therefore, please provide evidence or close the thread.
Ahem Ahem

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3463720.60 (This claim of shady act on part of FJ was TRUE and they did give the guy his money back, but after much pestering.) Looks like the sign wearers also hv to sell der soul.

@OP see this and do provide more proofs.
My statement holds true. Read it again and take some English lessons. OP has no case until proven otherwise.

Cheers.

Great, here we go again. Degen posts a complaint about unfair practices by casino and accounts wearing accused casinos signature pop up to defend it. Only on bitcointalk.
They do not need to provide you with proof of anything here, nor elsewhere publicly. You are confused as to what you and others are entitled to. Should they choose to, it is sufficient for them to show one of us.

628  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 📛 [SCAM] KuCoin 1 Million USD Rewards Kucoin Play SCAM - Never Use KuCoin on: February 22, 2020, 05:38:46 PM

I never had a problem with Kucoin they always on guard to keep their reputation intact and address every issue that comes along like this one, I am not defending Kucoin, I'm just a trader there but this explanation is sufficient enough to stop these allegations unless other people look at it at a different angle.
Unfortunately this forum goes way beyond what it should with freedom-of-speech, i.e. freedom to make potentially very dangerous claims against a party without any evidence and *nothing* will happen at all to the creator of said claims. This is not how it works in Western democracies (laws against defamation, libel and slander).
629  Other / Meta / Re: BIASED Standards Guild on: February 21, 2020, 02:57:49 PM
Is there an application process for this Guild? I want to apply.
Step 1: Remove your negative trust comment for Tecshare.
Step 2: Include rather than exclude Tecshare from your trust list.
Step 3: Read the OP and adjust your trust list to include everyone part of the guild and exclude all clown car members.
Step 4: Leave positive trust comment for Tecshare
It's that easy. However, is it possible to exclude yourself from your own trust list? That might be tricky.
is it possible to exclude yourself from your own trust list?
No, I just tried it. ~suchmoon disappeared after "Update" and nothing changed. No guild membership for me or Lauda I guess.
How can an objective Guild have an non-objective application process that prevents members from even applying? Seems discriminatory, and therefore not objective. QED.
630  Other / Meta / Re: Gangs of BitcoinTalk :) on: February 21, 2020, 10:10:34 AM
Nice topic. We need an objective metric to evaluate the gangs to see which one is the most powerful. Does my Kitty Cult win? Tongue
Should we talk about something else? Can one member from one gang belong to another  Tongue I am talking about your Kitty Cult  Wink Me and many other WO members love cats (I have a cool cat on my hat  Grin), check our hats and you'll see that there are lots of cats  Tongue If I'm not mistaken, you are also active at WO. So we will belong to both gangs, right?
The WO gang can be a subsidiary of CoL (The Cult of Lauda) if you reach consensus about it. This is my offer. Talk to your fellow members. Tongue

A friend calling me with questions about “decentralized finance” someone knows about it ?
Dharma.io is a thing in it ..... ??  Roll Eyes
Bitcoin is the decentralized finance he is looking for.

The one on Eth is vaporware.

Show him this:
https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/56207/bzx-attacked-again-645k-in-eth-estimated-to-be-lost

He always do like to listen to Ivon on Tech .... and they where talking about "decentralized finance"

He was a bit impressed and wondering what it exactly was and if its worth any time...
It is as impressive as the promises from 2015/2016 that Smart Contracts would be used in everything and replace normal contracts. Where are they being used? Token generation. Anything else?  Cheesy Decentralized finance is the new buzzword for nonsense.

633  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IOTA: Snake oil insecurity with a centralized kill switch to shut off your money on: February 20, 2020, 10:52:59 PM
By now CfB has nothing to do anymore with IOTA other than his company using the Tangle - or intending to do so, but he will probably fork it. David Sønstebø and CfB have been bff for a long time until the moment they had different opinions about the future of IOTA. You can read what David has to say about that here.
- snip -
To my knowledge, this is the Bitcointalk account David is in control of: iotatoken
Thanks. Here is also the flag against that account:

Yes bank transfer, so bad feeling thinking about it now. Sure it was quite impossible to make such profits.. because I didn't knew the working of cryptos, and I had confident.
1) Call the bank and say that you have been defrauded and ask for a reversal.

I thought he was sharing good tips as a good guy ! But no way.. I was confident because of what I read in the newspapers and all, but I think he already lost his "million" if he really had it one day ! He is not that famous in Switzerland but anyway his name is Leonardo Vörstratten Von Sylva, on part can be a nickname I give it because we have to prevent for such people stealing for living ! I feel so bad, lot of hours of work spent for nothing, all my savings ! And various times he told me that he wired the amount on my account but nothing arrived like 4 times, he even made fake transfer documents, he is a liar and a thief.
2) Report him to the police.

You have nothing to lose by trying either one.
636  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 📛 [SCAM] KuCoin 1 Million USD Rewards Kucoin Play SCAM - Never Use KuCoin on: February 20, 2020, 11:27:48 AM
Those accounts can't be users'.
Who said that I was the user? I said for all you know I could be the person behind the bots. You have no evidence, therefore you must retract your claim.
637  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 📛 [SCAM] KuCoin 1 Million USD Rewards Kucoin Play SCAM - Never Use KuCoin on: February 20, 2020, 11:08:56 AM
Even taking their OWN bot accounts to top 500 is proven with tons of accounts being moved out while registrations were closed because of a phone verification problem.
I hereby request that you stop perpetuating this claim unless you have evidence for it.

You can ask anyone participating in the contest regarding how their ranked dropped down by 200-300 in just 2 days (which is impossible), while there could be no registrations done because of SMS verification problem.

Everyone will say there were fake accounts being moved to top for no reason.
This is not proof that the bots are KuCoin's. For all you know, they could have been mine. Please do not make such damaging statements unless there is scientific, objective proof that they are the owners of those bots or the people behind them.

639  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IOTA: Snake oil insecurity with a centralized kill switch to shut off your money on: February 20, 2020, 08:51:42 AM
Which is a - pun intended  Grin - very laudable thing to do.
Kiss  Kiss

For me, this project was over when CfB told the researchers that they implemented the "colission feature"  in curl to protect IOTA from copycats, what the actual fuck.
They changed their mind later, apparently it was written by an AI.  Roll Eyes

Depends on what point of view you have (some would even say that Bitcoin is not a decentralized, Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System ^^):
While people have the right to keep any ridiculous belief that they want to, the above is not based on science and is thus incorrect. I am not interested in unbacked opinions - this case was constructed very objectively, hence why I created a flag.

those who were following the project closely knew about the coordinator, and that it was a centralized element which was intended to kickstart the network and to be removed, later. The "later" got delayed again and again, making the description of IOTA a concept rather than an actual product, thus vaporware.

For somebody who only read the catchy phrases and didn't bother taking a very close look at what he throws his money at, it might well be described as a scam. To be fair, the IOTA team did not put much effort into explaining IOTA's weaknesses.
Last sentence: There's a very good reason for that - think about it using Occam's razor.
640  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 📛 [SCAM] KuCoin 1 Million USD Rewards Kucoin Play SCAM - Never Use KuCoin on: February 20, 2020, 08:37:13 AM
If they don't pay, the reputation of KuCoin exchange will be damaged for sure.
Competitor:
Step 1) Hire bots to damage the competition and skew results.
Step 2) Hire PR to reflect on above.
Step 3) Dispute arises between KuCoin and WinPlay due to 1).
Step 4) Blame everything on KuCoin.
Step 5) Win.

The point of this is: Without evidence, I will be strongly defending exchanges until proven otherwise. Too many people easily fall for these schemes.
