If you want to look at the window towards Ronaldo you could see troubles there too. I am not saying Benzema is better or anything, of course not, Ronaldo was an elite football player but we could always accept that sometimes it's good to part ways. Even his time at Juventus also saw him giving them countless goals and incredible performance.

The quality of team members Ronaldo has been playing with since his departure from Real Madrid are poor and you can't expect a 36+ year old players to carry on such stress. If Benzema was to leave Real Madrid today, he'll be going to China or some unknown county that's if anyone will be willing to sign him.

IMO, Tottenham doesn't have a very impressive record, even though they won Group D. Because, the results are not very satisfying.  AC Milan experienced the same thing when they played their matches in the Group E phase, they were only able to finish as runners-up under Chelsea.
for now, these two teams are very even opponents. however, if you look at the history of H2H from the meeting of these two teams. Tottenham has always dominated AC Milan. there have been many predictions and assumptions so far, for the two teams that will compete in the round of 16 later.

IMO, when referring to experience and mentality in the champions league. As far as English Premier League is concerned Tottenham is that club that I cannot predict easily. In the English Premier League we all know that the top four is not guarantee for them.

What are the statistics of Chelsea above Tottenham? Tottenham have 29 points and Chelsea have 21 (and a game in hand). As for the achievements from last season, Milan finished last in a fairly simple Champions League group.
In general, I do not see a single factor in favor of valuing Milan above Tottenham.

Without any doubt Chelsea is much superior to Tottenham, and it's all just because of their form owner's love affair with this club because he has done amazing job and bring quality players and other staff with give him his required results, but sadly we are missing something in Tottenham case which is not having positive results in both Premier League and Champions League with mostly ended at third or fourth spot and having last eight of four spots in Champions League is never ideal situation for them.

Now again we have same situation for them in this season, and they are looking for the best end of this season, but mostly things are going against them with they are having quality players and coach but still not winning or having perfect results which mean it's all about luck with good performance and both have not loved affair in their case.

The Champions League which Chelsea won two seasons ago against Manchester City was not because Chelsea knows too much or they were playing too good. It is because Guardiola underrated the Chelsea team forgetting that they have understood his style of playing in England.

You were wrong perception about Real Madrid needed Cristiano Ronaldo and Zidane to get Champion League trophy, last season Madrid is not favorite team for getting Champion League but finally success become the winner although many predicting with Manchester City or PSG as the favorite winner.

There are many teams in the UEFA Champions League. Teams who are trying to play very well. But there are some players who give very good performances in almost every match. I think we get a lot of entertainment from such games. But  Hopefully we will see something better in the future.

Benzema has been a loyalist of Real Madrid. Even when Ronaldo was there, Benzema was also there but always hidden. He didn't complain. I wonder if Milan are bringing back their old times in the Champions League. But I'm not very hopeful about that. It is still an achievement for them to make it to last 16 round. Because they couldn't do even that last season. They are just not very lucky to have a draw against Tottenham now.

I agree, Benzema is a very important player for this team. We all saw how good his performance last season was, I think no one can say anything about the quality of Benzema.
We have seen that he is quite successful without Ronaldo, he is a football player who can achieve many things on his own. He just got older and the risk of injury increases with it, and injuries in later ages can last longer

You may work hard for 10 years since you were a kid and then one day you score one goal and that makes you a lot more famous than any other thing you did for the past 10 years all because of the goal itself and when and where it happened.

In any case, I am sure he will be bought by some bigger club soon, maybe Real would get him instead of Benzema, as a replacement since Benzema is getting closer to his old age and I feel like he may retire soon.

If you're looking for an underdog that can win the champions league then it's definitely Chelsea. Tottenham are no where near Chelsea for there to be a comparison. Back home in London we're the most awarded club in the past decade and I'm sure we'll also be the most awarded club overall if the statistics are brought out. Chelsea poor performance is due to poor management ability by our newly appointed manager and not that the players are bad ones. Just look at the ongoing world cup competition, you'll notice how Chelsea players are dominating the game they played in and winning 'Player of the match award'  if the players were that bad then they shouldn't have be called up or turning up for their nations.

Chelsea has won 2 champions league trophy in the last decade with their recent just coming two seasons back. Tottenham are in no way on the same level as Chelsea neither are they better than us. Chelsea poor form is just temporary as everything will be resolved after the world cup has ended. Our injuried players will return and with the likes of Reece James fully fit, we should be able to have out attack back on track to score goals and win games

If Real Madrid are interested in Richarlison, at least there will be rumors linking him to this Spanish giant club. however, in fact, it is Herry Kane who has always been linked with Real Madrid for a potential replacement for Benzema later. even Real Madrid is more interested in another Brazilian player who plays with Palmeiras namely, Endrick Felipe who is actually a 16 year old boy.
