1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: July 19, 2019, 05:18:21 PM
It seems to me that the provision of KYC should be associated only with the amount of winnings that the gambler wants to withdraw from the gaming site.  If for example the amount of funds exceeds $ 2,000 or $ 3,000, then you may be required to provide passport information.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC and the $5 hammer on: July 19, 2019, 05:15:09 PM
A theme  topic, whatever often talked about on this forum, is the $5 hammer attack.
Many people suggest to keep your bitcoin holdings secret, thus preserving the anonymity of bitcoin to a certain degree.
But then you get sportsbooks asking for photos and passports, and god only knows what else.
If a sportsbook wants all this, I respectly suggest they change to fiat.

The KYC should be implemented or should not be implemented. There should not be a case where you won big amount and the site start demand for kyc to withdraw a big amount. Such types of kyc are made mandatory just to avoid withdrawing the big amount of money out of casino.
In most cases, even trade exchanges place conditions on users to provide passport data in the first place precisely when the user wants to withdraw a sufficiently large amount of funds.  Gambling books should be guided in the same way, because not all gamblers deal with big wins.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Barr's Betting Predictions | Let's Win Some Money! on: July 19, 2019, 05:05:08 PM
Do you track your profitability?

Some of your bets are low odds like 1.30, even if you mist most of the time, it still does not guarantee you'll be at profit with that low odds.

Profit and lose are part of gambling as every gambler will face some lose and some profit. We can increase our profit making chances with the help of experiencing more games having one choice or sticking with single game is not good strategy so better do something better so odds will go above 1.30 because gambling has huge potential.
I am not much of a gambler too but I am deeply interested in gambling, and I believed that if I had picked interest earlier, I would have probably been a guru by now, but right now, what I am just doing is to really gather experience first, just like op said, he said he has been in sport for 3 years before entering gambling, and I think anyone that needs to have the chance of winning more in this game of luck really need to be very experienced.

I am glad that the op at least have  free play, at least I can still use that to gather some experiences because I would not want to really risk what I know I may lose badly if I dare try the game now, but seems what op is developing is really worth given a trial.
I am more than confident that if a person understands a sport very seriously, he has a lot of experience, thanks to which he can really predict the outcome of certain games.  And based on this, there are opportunities to make very good and profitable bets on the results of competitions in a particular sport.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever looked at how much you have wagered with a hanging mouth? :P on: July 19, 2019, 04:58:58 PM
It seems to me that all statements sound frivolously that no one is interested in the amount of their bets or the funds spent on gambling.  If we were rich enough, we would not be engaged in this activity, which gives a profit of 50 to 50. Based on this, we can assume that money should always be under our control.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: July 18, 2019, 09:52:53 PM
To date, a lot of officials in different countries have long made certain stocks of their personal Bitcoin, but at the same time, no one advocates for cryptocurrency.  Even official statements are negative in some cases.  I cannot understand why in such cases there is a very large discrepancy in the actions and statements of state officials.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Form of Anarchy on: July 18, 2019, 09:47:33 PM
Perhaps someone adheres to saying that anarchy is the mother of order, but for a cryptocurrency market, this wording is not appropriate at all.  In addition, I am sure that the cryptocurrency will not be the only currency in the world.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine that you're new to crypto now on: July 18, 2019, 09:43:15 PM
There is a lot of information on the bitcointalk forum about what trading is and how to learn to trade.  If you understand the first basics of this activity, then thanks to the small start-up capital you can get the first experience in practice, which will guide the newcomer on the right path.
1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest battle for Bitcoin's life is coming on: July 18, 2019, 09:38:50 PM
We have been here long enough to see bitcoin reach all time highs of about $19k and dropped back to $3200 yet it still rose up all over again. I don't know what battle you are talking off really but trust me bitcoin has seen enough already to be scared of any crash of the market.
The main thing is that the owners of Bitcoin are not afraid, because otherwise it will really be the end to the entire cryptocurrency market.  Although I am sure that with the help of negative information, the cryptocurrency market will always be manipulated.
1189  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Keep Your Bitcoins In A Bank on: July 18, 2019, 09:24:18 PM

I don't get it. What is it really? Bitcoin and crypto currencies banned or they're still not regulating it? As far as I know even if btc is banned in your country, as long as you are not transacting locally, there will be no problem and there is no way they can track your address since they will never know which is yours. Also, I will not be keeping my bitcoin in a Bank since that is not the reason why it is made.

There's nothing to get. Banned, or non regulated, it doesn't stop you or any user from using bitcoin, and that's the pure beauty of the whole thing. It's not about transacting locally, it's about selling it or buying it with money that can be traced to a local account. I can send and receive btc with anyone, banned or not, but if I start trading at an exchange or even in the case of US do p2p on a centralized platform like LBC, then I allow myself to get identified, and there's where the problem starts.
If you already have the opportunity to keep your Bitcoin in banks, you should stop informational speculation about the competition of Bitcoin and the banking system.  In addition, the storage of Bitcoin in banks is already certain steps for the legalization of cryptocurrency in their respective countries. But it seems to me that this situation will not please cryptocurrency users, since an important aspect of cryptocurrency ownership was anonymity.
1190  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: July 18, 2019, 09:15:18 PM
It seems to me that it is very difficult to predict even the nearest developments in the cryptocurrency market, since we all expected an equivalent increase in prices for Ethereum, along with Bitcoin, but all these predictions were not crowned with success.
1191  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: July 18, 2019, 08:13:31 PM
The popularity of cryptocurrency and the attraction of new investments will always be influenced by news about cryptocurrency in the information space, as well as the development of infrastructure for the use of cryptocurrency in society.  I believe that the recent statement by Donald Trump has a very strong pressure on the entire cryptocurrency market.
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: July 18, 2019, 08:07:43 PM
It seems to me that at certain points it is not difficult to punish a fraudster, but we need to think about how to prevent fraud or how to protect our personal data, secret keys, passwords or funds from loss.  At the moment I do not see any way out of this situation, since each of us is still at risk, even if he takes the original precautions.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: July 18, 2019, 06:46:16 PM
today the gaming industry already has a very large capitalization.  More and more people invest in their hobby.  In addition, there is already a certain competition, such as the game Stalker, for which certain bookmakers do not even collect bets on the result.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 18, 2019, 06:42:58 PM
If a gambler gets good results, then he has a very positive mood.  But if the results start to border on big risks and on possible losses, then the person will definitely have a nervous exhaustion.  In any case, it will be very bad for the well-being.  In most cases, even the psychological state of a person greatly affects the physical condition.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: July 18, 2019, 06:39:57 PM
I am sure that you always need to think positively, because it is positive thinking that attracts positive results.  A person who has a very bad mood is not able to achieve a good result.  But do not be too self-confident and exaggerate their capabilities.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 18, 2019, 06:37:34 PM
^ ^  The line on Pennington at +131 (2.31) looks good.  She had two straight losses, but to Nunes and De Randamie before the coming match.  Nothing to think small about.  Aldana could be an easy W for her.
I can never doubt the results of Amanda Núñez, because he is really a professional fighter who has already received 18 victories in his career, but you should always pay attention to the fact that this fighter has experience of different styles and different types of martial arts, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu  , Boxing, Judo, Karate

 .
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: July 18, 2019, 06:31:07 PM
Indeed, it is true that every form of gambling is a risk.

However, to give OP a concise answer, parlays are not good for long term betting mathematically, and are inferior to the flat betting system.

There is not a single long term successful sports bettor I know who uses parlays.

The fact is that a gambler can constantly use any form of gambling, including sports betting.  It is not necessary to act only in one direction, because it is impossible to get good results only from bets or, for example, from roulette.
1198  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make friends ? on: July 12, 2019, 05:46:27 AM
In my life, friends appeared quite by chance, and I did not try to make friends with anyone on purpose.  But I am sure that many people are brought together by common interests or life situations that were overcome together, after which a feeling of friendship or camaraderie appears.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The end game of bitcoin and gold on: July 12, 2019, 05:39:36 AM
I'm calm with the fact that I have assets in gold and assets in bitcoin. Thus, I consider themselves protected from various situations as in the gold market and the market cryptot. But uniquely that bitcoin and gold are similar only to those that have limited reserves and no more.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The time of seriousness is disappearing on: July 12, 2019, 05:28:16 AM
Always treated by very serious people and serious predictions with a grin. And it takes seriously the predictors who predict the growth of Bitcoin at $ 100,000, I also do not intend to.All these news and forecasts are made with only one purpose-to attract more investors in bitcoin!
I understand you.  Thanks to such predictions, I lost a lot in 2018.  Probably many professional analysts expressed their desires, and not the real forecast based on the results of the analysis of the cryptocurrency market.  Of course, it is very difficult to predict what is happening today and tomorrow, why to make forecasts that are not confirmed by facts.
