1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Semi Finals Discussion on: July 29, 2019, 06:39:08 PM
I'm a Kabaranggay so I go with GSM. However, their performance is quite poor in this semis since they haven't won any games yet. Thus, I'm now starting to doubt that they can make to the finals. Boracay is now waving to them lol.
Well as what the motto of Ginebra “Never Say Die” and we also knew this team that’s like Fernando Foe Jr..he will let the opponent hit him hard but in the end He will declares a winner 😂 don’t lose hope GSM will go to finals, just a heads up
Quote
On the other bracket, my pick would be ROS simply because I hate SMB's line up — too solid. It was just like GSW last season which is like an All-Star Team Undecided. Another thing I hate from them is the attitude of some of its players like Romeo and Santos.

Meanwhile, it seems like the ROS has dominated the SMB so far, 47-18 is the score, in favor of the ROS.
Oops! It seems you lose your bet. Anyway, there still a do or die game for them so you still have a chance to regain your money. Good luck, I'm wishing they can make an epic comeback against Beermen Grin.
Lucky that I didn’t bet today because I came late from work,if does we both lose OP and ME 😅
Of course, this was a good enough opportunity to get very good results, but I am sure that there will be other opportunities that you do not miss.  In any case, you should analyze the current result of the teams accordingly so that in the next competitions you can make the right choice.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 29, 2019, 06:24:56 PM
Singapore won by 82 runs, that's massive. They beat Nepal with such a big margin. Wasn't Nepal playing good cricket?  As far as I can remember they had good balanced team among the new team.

Yeah this was a big surprise for me as Nepal have been in good form this year and have been playing well and were one of the favourites to go through but Singapore surprised us all as they have played great cricket in this tournament. I was thinking that they would finish third behind Nepal and Malaysia but ended up finishing on top without losing a match so they deserve to go through.

Hard to compete with a team that was made up of mercenaries. Nepal is a poor country and all of their players were natives. On the other hand, Singapore didn't had any native player in their team and most of their players were former Ranji players from India who agreed to play for SG in return for a monetary payment (out of the 5 teams, only Nepal and Malaysia had native players).

There is no point in complaining, as teams such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia regularly win medals in Olympics with their imported athletes. But the difference here is that you can't compete in Olympics if you don't have citizenship of that country. On the other hand, you can play for Singapore in cricket even if you don't have SG citizenship.

So this mean that's Singapore can have good players from different countries and develop their own team. This may be unfair in certain terms.
Also the under 19 cricket India and Pakistan players who are unable to make the national team can easily join the Singapore National Cricket Team.

I have nothing against Singapore, but I never thought that cricket could find good professionals in this country.  Of course, a person is such a creature that has the ability to surprise everyone, and if a team develops its strategy and professionalism, then indeed the results may surprise.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: July 29, 2019, 05:55:54 PM
There are many dice sites where chat box is moderated, and I think they are doing the right thing. A certain part of gamblers prefer going to sites where there is not only garbage in the chat box.

If there's a lot of spam, moderators would be a hard time doing his job, that's why some sites comes up with an initiative that allows only players to chat if they reach a certain the minimum balance in their account.
Another reason why someone must have some balance before they can chat on chatbox is because there were some people who keep begging to someone, ussually to High Roller. All of them were talking shit, like goodluck xxx, up up xxx, beat the house xxx, congrats xxx and so on which so annoying
Maybe that thing really useful for that site. Because spam in chatbox actually something that avoided by people and there are no filters in there. Mods will have extra work to control new players that just sign up.
I prefer to read the chat and not only those where there is censorship.  After all, Moderators can remove not only garbage.  This applies not only to Dice, but also to other resources.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 29, 2019, 05:34:41 PM
TBH India don't take T-20 very seriously and Indians sucks at it tbh, ICC ranking in shorter format is shit for India.

LoL..Seriously  Cheesy
Then why they play two months of IPL every year and it is the biggest T20 tournament held in India every year.

T-20 is not real cricket but its a master business plan which BCCI hijacked from ECB ( they thought its waste of time and has no value lol ) where BCCI earns money so that they can fill enough gas to survive. For spectators its 2 months festival, in between all of this commercial event players do play some cricket too Cheesy

One way or another, for some of the actors, this is really a sport, according to someone it perceives as a good business.  Even we are looking at cricket as an opportunity to make a productive bet.
1105  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: July 28, 2019, 05:00:35 PM
It seems to me that many users misinterpret the possibility of implementing blockchain in a person’s daily life and its influence on the existence of the banking system.  Today, the banking system very successfully tests the blockchain technology in its systems and I am sure that this technology will work synchronously with banks and other financial structures in any state.
1106  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the difference between you and me? on: July 28, 2019, 01:01:03 PM
I'm just like you! I wish I was doing anything for money
I am sure that there are very few enthusiasts in the cryptocurrency market, because everyone first of all cares about their own profit.  Everything that happens on the exchanges, as well as on the bitcointalk forum, everything is directed to get some kind of reward using cryptocurrency.  Of course, technology should not be left behind, because this is the future for humanity and a great success in the field of finance, as well as digital security.
1107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm interested in trading but don't know where to start. Any tips? on: July 28, 2019, 09:28:46 AM
I think that many users of cryptocurrency are interested in trading, because practically only daily trading today is capable of generating good profits.  Even if investors are today waiting for the market to recover, to get at least some profit from their assets.  But in order to trade, you need to have a lot of knowledge, and first of all you need to learn how to analyze everything that happens on the stock exchange.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019: Which coin is the most profitable? on: July 27, 2019, 05:29:43 PM
It seems to me that first of all we should be determined by how long we plan to invest our funds.  If you invest in Bitcoin, then the results, which should exceed $ 20,000, should be expected for quite a long time.  And if you invest in other cryptocurrencies, by the end of this year you can get at least 2 x or 3X.  If you invest in ethereum, it is quite possible to get 6x, given last year's highs of prices.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Tron? on: July 27, 2019, 02:06:33 PM
Since Tron is a decentralized content, entertainment protocol based on blockchain technology, its future has already been determined. In addition, Tron has very strong partners, whose applications use the Tron protocol and already have more than 4 million people, and this indicates a great support from users. But I would also like to note that Tron has official representative offices in the USA and in China, and this raises Tron to a completely new level in the cryptocurrency market.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 10 years from now a quantum computer on: July 27, 2019, 01:50:56 PM
It is a problem if we have quantum computers now, but no, it is still that early that we don't need to think about it by now.

I don't think developers will just let destroy Bitcoin like that, obviously, they will be ready when the quantum computers are already up. I mean I agree with some of the posts here to use and play with it because damn! Ready Players One will not be a sci-fi movie or a dream anymore.
Why there are suggestions that a quantum computer will be able to destroy the cryptocurrency?  What are the prerequisites for this?  In my opinion, if computer technology changes, then cryptocurrency technologies will also be improved.
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's bitcoin worst case scenario if Libra will be successful? on: July 27, 2019, 01:32:14 PM
I think that today all the talk about the Facebook project looks like speculation, because all the forecasts are contradictory.  They used to talk about Bitcoin and dollar competition, and now they are talking about Bitcoin and Libra, as well as Libra and the dollar.  And since Libra can combine several trading platforms and payment systems, the project itself will probably look different.  Therefore, we will be able to say something specifically after the project is launched.
1112  Economy / Economics / Re: Is institutional capital good or bad for Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2019, 01:13:00 PM
I understand that any capital for Bitcoin has a very important role, because its price equals its capitalization.
any capital ? what if thier capital comes from stealing , hacking , and any other illegal crimes and then they put the money on bitcoin ,  do you think its important or good ?  no thats bad but other bitcoin hodlers think that its still beneficial because the value of bitcoin will be up and old hodlers will get benefit the most  .

But if we talk about the owners of Bitcoin, then most likely it will be a bit more difficult for a company to have Bitcoin, because there is more than one manager there, unlike a big whale.
what about a big whale ? i think they are the same as a company or institution and they are also a group that compose of many members  but anyone can buy thier own bitcoin if they wanted to   .
I have always perceived large whales as an individual who privately owns cryptocurrency.  Although if you take into account the effect on the cryptocurrency market of cryptocurrency funds and user groups, they can be easily defined as big whales.  Apparently here I fully agree with you.  As for any type of capital to increase the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market, recently the words about the importance of the requirement to provide KYC have been heard very often.  In this way, you can get rid of funds obtained by criminal means.
1113  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Good news to crypto:Coinbase has passed 30million users this month on: July 27, 2019, 11:29:00 AM
Its a great news, it showed that crypto had grown pretty good and many new investors already joined crypto, this can be a positive sign of bitcoin growth, if we can asked more people then it will be great, and coinbase reputation is not too good, imagine if some site with decent reputation already grow this far, if we can create one site that got good reputation then I think it will attract more users
Of course, I believe that this is a very good indicator for the cryptocurrency market, but I am sure that even with such results we are still at the very beginning of the development of the cryptocurrency market and the number of rating trading platforms will increase, as the cryptocurrency user community will increase.
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: July 27, 2019, 11:11:36 AM
Hello,

Suppose I would expand my BTC portfolio to 10 or 15 BTC.....how would you store such a big amount of coins?

Ofcourse I would use a hardware wallet, but if I store them all on 1 wallet and I lose the wallet, or the house gets on fire and it burns, then I have lost those coins forever? Or are there still ways to get to the coins somehow in that case?

Would you advise to store let's say 15 BTC on 3 different hardware wallets (5BTC each), or would you spread it out even more? Ofcourse I'm not gonna buy more than max. 3 hardware wallets but in that case maybe 15 different laptop wallets (Electrum, Jaxx, Exodus etc.) with 1BTC each on it is safer?

I'm looking for the safest way to store a big amount of BTC and to minimize the risks of losing a big amount.

I'd store them on offline devices.
According to surveys, many users agreed that it is best to store their Bitcoin in hardware wallets, which should be new and purchased from the manufacturer, and it is best to have several hardware wallets to avoid any risks.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: July 27, 2019, 10:59:34 AM
It seems to me that it is wrong to call a gambler degenerate.  The fact is that very often the excitement is compared with drug addiction, when dependent people go to crimes in order to satisfy their desires.  If a gambler is likened to the same low people, then this name is quite applicable.  But only in such cases, and not in others.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC Process (Sportsbook) on: July 27, 2019, 10:17:58 AM
It seems to me that in the near future we will all need to persuade many gamblers in the absence of the danger of providing KYC and that this process will be not only forced, but also the most popular when using not only gambling sites, but also when operating in a cryptocurrency market.
1117  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your favourite top 5 tv shows or series on: July 26, 2019, 09:39:00 PM
I think that I can advise good series for viewing, which I watched recently.  The first episode is the Bloody Race, the 2nd episode is the Submission, the third episode is the Clan Soprano, the 4 episode is Breaking Bad, the 5 episode is The History of American Crimes.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: July 26, 2019, 07:16:11 PM
In any case, we must accept the fact that KYC is now demanding from us Wherever there are such requirements.  It is in this format that cryptocurrencies will be legalized throughout the world, so that government agencies can control the possibilities of illegal cash flow.  So somehow we will have to provide passport information.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things all gambling websites/apps/games should have? on: July 26, 2019, 07:06:07 PM
For me simple and selective or unigue games is good because having lot of games will make the site looks not familiar eve after many uses.

Having instant deposit and withdrawal for crypto currencies will make them as good one.
I have never received a prize of such a volume so that I would like to withdraw it immediately after a win.  Based on this, the immediate conclusion is not so important for me, but the reputation of gambling for me is in the first place, because it is on the rating that I react the most to be sure that no one will deceive me.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: July 26, 2019, 06:50:43 PM
I think that everyone of us have had that moment when he opened up a web browser and searched for how to win in gambling.I am sure that the first results were some sites with the Martingale strategy and I think any of us have started to try this at least once. The results I think have been the same for all of us,it doesn't work

Indeed, because the martingale system is not intended for gambling, I believe the system on the gambling platform has provided anti-martiangle, so anyone who uses this system will lose even if he uses martiangle up to level 10. If you play gambling, it is better to use a parlay system, where we bet from previous advantage. Martiangle only works for trade.
For me as according to the rules of martingale I guess it is applicable as this way the person who is loosing can double the investment and the first loss can help to be recovered but the only thing people use to say that it is not for gambling is because no one knows as the chances to hit the loss or profit is 50/50.
It seems to me that even today, many people using the browser are looking for opportunities to win gambling.  But why look so far and risk your own money if we already have everything on bitcointalk.  Best of all, this particular forum provides a sufficiently large amount of information for a gambler.

People do come in gambling to win, to apply different strategy like martingale etc but they end up losing. Whether you invest more money to chase your loss or you reinvest your profits in gambling, You lose in gambling in both ways.  The only winner in gambling is who is not greedy and also who has the power to bear the small loses and not chase them which might turn into big loses.
I think that the only winner in gambling is the owner and investor.  Grin But I really agree with you that you can not go on about their dependence on gambling.  If you managed to get a win, you do not need to abuse your success.
