1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Initiators and Team need KYC more than Investors on: January 26, 2019, 08:49:25 AM
ICO teams need more extensive checks than KYC checks and should be carried out by government agencies on the basis of specific laws or regulations. I think that soon it will be, many states have already developed or are developing relevant regulatory acts to regulate the activities of ICO. We need clear rules of the game and clear rights and obligations of ICO participants. States can not long stand apart from numerous frauds in this type of activity.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: January 25, 2019, 05:58:35 AM
xrp is now a winner, and eth is getting worse. even though the hardfork schedule had passed but there was no big improvement after Hadffork. and many issues that this time Hardfork failed and too many problems caused ethereum to lose by xpp.
There has not yet been a hardfork in ethereum, and it is because of this that this coin has now dropped slightly in price. Due to the discovery of a serious vulnerability, referred to as the possibility of replay attacks, the implementation of the planned improvements in ethereum was postponed to February 27.
The ripple has so far successfully competed with ethereum in terms of capitalization, but this makes little difference in essence. Ethereum has always been and remains ahead. You can also invest in ripple, since it will also be constantly in demand because of its use in the banking sector.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam. on: January 25, 2019, 05:45:34 AM
Do the research and talk to the team, ask questions. See their business plan, if the product even has a market and need etc.
Unfortunately, today we cannot be sure of any of the ICO projects that are emerging. The fraudsters are very creative and have learned how to prepare good documents and bypass sharp corners when working with investors. Therefore, I place almost the only hope for restoring order in this type of ICO activity to government regulation. It is government agencies that are able to quickly restore order here, protecting the rights of investors and bounty hunters.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations or Anonymity on: January 25, 2019, 05:34:39 AM
I think that KYC will not solve the problem of fraud completely. I like the idea that was expressed by people above that the KYC be useful to developers of the project. But if we try to make KYC for everyone, it will not lead to anything good. Because people are here because of decentralization and anonymity.
We will not be able to completely do in cryptocurrency without anonymity, or without certain rules in it. Need a golden mean. KYC checks cannot be applied to everyone, otherwise it will do more harm than good. KYC checks, for example, are meaningless for bounty hunters and small investors.
At the same time, the rules are needed here, otherwise hackers and scammers will rule here, and the state will never legalize cryptocurrency.
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins on: January 22, 2019, 05:43:09 AM
Early 2018 I had different altcoins via bounties, airdrops and small investment in ICOs. But the major mistake I made was waiting for bull run to come so I could sell and make large profit. But atlast the bull run never came. So I had to keep hodling till I got stocked in the Bear market.

I think you all should learn from my mistakes and never wait for bull run because nobody knows when the bull is coming because of the volatility of the market. Sell when you have decent profit and not waiting till you have a large profit. Thanks

We are all looking for the right time to buy and sell our coins and tokens. This is practically our work with cryptocurrency. However, each type of cryptocurrency has its own characteristics and therefore there can not be universal tips. For example, I am sure in many tokens that they will continue to grow in price and therefore, for the time being, I am going to keep them, and there it will be visible. In the future, I will act in accordance with the general state of the cryptocurrency market. The time for the profitable sale of our coins and tokens has passed, now for a long time to sell them makes no sense.
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it still last? on: January 20, 2019, 07:47:19 AM
What makes us still survive in the crypto market situation that has often been red lately. Do you still have high hopes that crypto will become a real future that can be accepted throughout the world? Thank you very much..
The period of relative calm and stabilization of the price of cryptocurrency more indicates a good market condition than the period of its rapid growth. A rapid growth or a big recession, on the contrary, is an exceptional market condition, which indicates that unusual processes are taking place on it. Therefore, I am sure that the cryptocurrency market will continue to develop and grow for a long time.
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from the fullest dip on: January 20, 2019, 07:36:41 AM
I have been on the cryptocurrency market for more than 2 years and I can tell you that you always need to fix your profits, since then you can sit in the red for a very long time
From this long period of decline and stagnation in the cryptocurrency market, I think many have already learned the lesson that you need to periodically record your profits, and not just expect the coin or token to take off to very large price values. After all, this can not wait. It is for this reason that I think that perhaps there will not be such big price rises, the holders of cryptocurrency will have to drop their coins with their good growth and they will always fall in price in this connection. There comes a period of greater stabilization of prices than before.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: January 19, 2019, 06:15:28 AM
It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?

It's so disheartning  since so many bounty campaigns are turning out this way. Howbeit,  it has been on my mind lately that there should be a way to devise some mechanism to detect these scam projects flying over everywhere
I think that we ourselves can do little to reduce fraud among ICO projects. This can be done only by authorized state bodies in which there will be appropriate opportunities. If the ICO team identifies and registers with government agencies and they monitor its fund-raising activities for some time, the level of fraud in ICO projects will drop dramatically. Therefore, I place hope only on government regulation of ICO activities.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fork for short term profit? on: January 19, 2019, 06:03:17 AM
Usually there will be a pumping before the forking, unfortunately this time the rising stop earlier and got a correction, and I don't think buying because of forking is a good idea, it's like a gambling because we know that once the forking happen people will sell the coin immediately and it will cause the price fall down quickly
Strangely, no branching has been planned yet, what branching are we talking about? Forks ETCV and ETN turned out to be fraud, and Constantinople is five different improvements for ethereum and no new coin will be formed. Moreover, until these improvements have been delayed due to the discovery of a serious vulnerability, called a re-entry attack, which resulted in theft of funds.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: January 18, 2019, 06:04:16 AM
I see that BTC and ETH are two coins that have the highest capitalization in Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always maintains current prices.
Why did that happen? And now, I have to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum?
thank you
I now prefer ethereum more than bitcoin. I think that ethereum is capable of better growth than Bitcoin, given the significant drop in this coin in price and the upcoming improvements to this coin.
On the other hand, Bitcoin has not been improving for a very long time and I still do not see a real prospect for this. In the presence of its great value, it is a big minus.
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!! on: January 18, 2019, 05:48:10 AM
What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it  because  people  don't want review their identity  for security  reason  or people  are joining campaign  with bot software ..
KYC checks are additional and not the most pleasant duties for bounty hunters. Because it is carried out, as a rule, at the end of the ICO, the ICO team is interested in the fact that we did not pass it and in order not to pay the earned tokens. Therefore, I am not joining ICO signature campaigns that require KYC verification.
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bank and crypto industry unite or be linked? on: January 18, 2019, 05:39:35 AM
The Blockchain system and the system at the Bank are very different. If the two are united, I don't think that will happen because in many countries crypto has not been given permission about the use of transactions. And there are many problems that make Crypto unable to unite with the Bank.
Banks will be forced to use cryptocurrency in their activities and this should be on mutually beneficial terms. The merger of banks and cryptocurrency will never happen, because it is not profitable for either banks or cryptocurrency. Everyone has their own functions and tasks and they are incomparable. Banks perform much more functions than cryptocurrency.
1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is the leader of the blockchain? on: January 17, 2019, 05:44:27 AM
The Chinese authorities have invested about $6 billion in the development of the blockchain this year. Does this mean that China will become a leader in this area? Will the projects of Chinese companies increase in price or remain at the same level?

Yep, China haven't accepted the cryptocurrency but they are leading in developing blockchain technology and I have just read a news that in the next time, maybe Chinese will have a private coin for their country and be controled by goverment
In China, the largest number of patents for the implementation of blockchain technology in practical projects. Therefore, we can consider this country a leader in the application of this technology. I am not surprised by this, because China has always paid great attention to the introduction of advanced technologies, including by copying them in other countries. Therefore, this fact is quite natural.
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum: Which is the Future Cryptocurrency on: January 13, 2019, 07:02:32 AM
Although these are completely different coins, I still prefer ethereum. Bitcoin has not been improving for a long time, and so far hopes for its development are very unclear. And popularity is a changeable thing, now it is, and tomorrow it may not be in Bitcoin. In general, the future will be in those coins that will constantly grow and develop. Each coin has its own features.
1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see a future with one cryptocurrency or thousands? on: January 13, 2019, 06:50:11 AM
The amount of cryptocurrencies out there is nauseating. Up in the thousands now.

Do you see a future where we're using a wide variety, or will one come out on top?

Technically, if one of these ICO projects create a be-all-end-all decentralized platform where all products and services are bought and sold, I guess it isn't impossible to one day have just one.

What do you think?
In any case, cryptocurrency will always be very much and it is absolutely normal. They will massively appear and massively disappear, and this is a normal process of improving cryptocurrency. Since everyone is allowed to this process, the variety of altcoins will always be very large, no one wants to give up their coins or tokens in favor of any other cryptocurrencies.
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: January 12, 2019, 02:58:56 PM
Hi.can someone tell me if KYC is ok ? what could be the effects of doing it especially in bounties/airdrops, they are requiring to pass KYC before joining
Bounty hunters check KYC does not give anything. On the contrary, it takes us a lot of time, because none of the ICO teams has a clear and fast form of its passage at the initial stage of joining. As a result, we are forced to constantly re-read hundreds of messages in their telegram groups in order not to miss messages on the order and timing of the KYC check. Spending a lot of time and nerves.

The KYC teams can be checked by the ICO teams to not pay a significant part of the tokens earned by us, so most of these KYC checks are carried out at the end of the ICO or even after its completion.

For fraudulent ICO projects, this also provides additional income from the sale of our confidential data.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next Golden Crypto Wave??? on: January 12, 2019, 02:47:42 PM
ICO's declined in popularity because most of them were not legitimate offerings or did not have a viable product, but this is beginning to change and now that it's no longer easy to raise money based on thin air most startups are having to prove their worth by releasing a MVP with well-defined pathways to adoption prior to launching their public sale so the focus will be on those moving forward this year
Yes, now the activity of the ICO is in a very terrible state due to an incredibly large number of fraudulent projects. I was particularly upset right now that both fortes from Ethereum - Ethereum Nowa (ETN) and Ethereum Classic Vision (ETCV) turned out to be common fraud. About four hundred members of this forum, most of whom had high ranks, joined the ICO project on advertising the fork of the ETCV. They also told how to choose a good ICO project so that it is not a fraud. As a result, everything turned out, advertised scammers who eventually hunted for the secret keys of our wallets when they explained how we can get their free coins. This once again proves that it is now very difficult to distinguish the fraudulent ICO project from the non-fraudulent one.
Judging by this situation, there will be no significant growth in the cryptocurrency market for a long time.
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The dump has started for 2019 on: January 11, 2019, 06:43:06 AM
Today is a very sad day for me ... just when I was thinking the crypto space is on its way to its formal glory ... here we are again... the market is red and over 15 percent down...

How do we free crypto from the hands of whales.. manipulating the market??
Don't be disturbed by continuous market downtrend that has been the situation of the market since last year, hopefully things will turnaround for good. Many people have lost hope but when things change they will come back.
From the first days of this year, the cryptocurrency market cannot rise sharply in the way many want it to. It will still fall for some time and rise in price anyway. Therefore, I do not see anything unusual in the fact that the cryptocurrency is now falling in price. Of course, just before the improvements in ethereum, seeing how it falls in price is not very pleasant.
1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bithereum the Fusion of Bitcoin and Ethereum is it good? on: January 10, 2019, 06:28:50 AM
I would be interested to get acquainted with the technical capabilities of this new bithereum coin. However, I do not see any information about her anywhere. It is not even clear whether this plug has occurred or not. The team that provides it should pay little attention to informing potential users of such a coin. Without such information, it is very difficult to say whether it is possible to invest in it.
1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: January 09, 2019, 07:06:22 AM
see good news about eth which always appears every day, some people think that eth will go up to 1000 usd, but will this happen?
because after all eth is the strongest coin after BTC, and I believe that.
and even the new news says that eth prices will be half the price of btc.
The proposed improvements in ethereum, which should be introduced into this coin on January 16, should raise the price of this coin. However, the ethereum price is unlikely to rise to as much as one thousand dollars. It should be borne in mind that Bitcoin still continues to exercise price dominance over other types of cryptocurrency. Therefore, ethereum alone cannot rise in price so high.
