1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 2% of U.S. Investors Own Bitcoin - How Much Further Up Can It Go? on: July 31, 2018, 04:59:19 PM
It is not clear the expression "2 percent of American investors own bitcoins." Perhaps this means that two percent of those who have already invested in the crypto currency, that is, it is indicated that of all investments in the crypto currency, only two percent are accounted for by bitcoin, and the rest by altcoins. Then this is the result of government propaganda, which indicated that investing in bitcoin is too risky.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: countries allow gambling, liquor, tobacco, horse racing then why not crypto on: July 31, 2018, 04:44:48 PM
many countries allow gambling, liquor, tobacco, horse racing then what is the problem with crypto currency .while it is related to advancement to technology and more secure and reliable system specially for banking system.
Games, tobacco, alcohol, horse racing - all this distracts the population of the country from the pressing problems of the state, distracts from politics. This is very beneficial to power structures, which quietly rob the treasury. A crypto currency is money, and money means power. If there is money worth $ 10,000, of course this will be in the sphere of priorities of any government. No power will not give you the opportunity to just be enriched. Now they are studying the problem of the crypto currency, and if they do not find a way to use the crypto currency in their own interests, they will limit its circulation under various pretexts.
1683  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why are governments biased towards banning Cryptos? on: July 30, 2018, 08:14:59 PM
Why are all governments pro AI and are so against cryptocurrency? AI has been often conisdered as a threat to humanity but governments use it extensively but blockchain is the best thing that is ever happened to us humans and why do governments hate it so much? They are okay with driverless cars moving around streets but are not okay with currency that will make us more independent? Why this bias?
Governments are not interested in recognizing the Crypto-currency. For them, decentralized crypto currency is a very big problem because it does not belong to a specific state, it is not provided with anything, it is not supported by anyone, it has very high volatility that prevents its normal use as money and, moreover, has a value of hundreds or even thousands of times higher than their national money. In addition, the crypto currency can not actually be controlled. Money flows in the crypto currency can freely go beyond the state and the state can not do anything about it. Are these factors not enough that the state generally prohibits decentralized crypto currency? So it is very good that the state, though slowly, but recognize it as an asset, property, goods or something else.
1684  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-27] Only 33% of Bitcoin Payments Used to Purchase Goods, Economic Value on: July 30, 2018, 07:34:01 PM
As global investors flock to cryptocurrency as an investment vehicle, the use of cryptocurrencies for their intended purposes has come into question.  New research suggests that only one-third of transactional activity occurring on the Bitcoin network is related to the purchase of goods or services.
Full article on NewsBTC
In my opinion, the figure of 33 percent of transactions in bitcoin, related to purchases and payment for services rendered, is several times higher. I think that this figure is no more than 10 percent. Bitcoin is now very rarely used as payment for goods and services, and this is its biggest problem. And the problem is so big that it can kill bitcоin.
1685  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India and Bitcoins on: July 29, 2018, 05:49:10 AM
In India, Bitcoin is not a legal tender. But it is not explicitly termed as illegal. What is the reason for such a stand by Government? what are its implications?
I think that in India in the near future things will change for the better. Recently, a special commission set up by the Government of India concluded that bitcoin could be considered a means of payment, that is, act as money. This dramatically changes the situation in favor of the crypto currency. It remains to wait until the government draws up such a decision with its normative act.
1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why hold ethereum on: July 28, 2018, 03:59:48 AM
If I could pick one crypto that suits for holding, that would be ethereum. Do you agree that this one is good for a holder ?

It's more established than other alts in the market and  companies are adopting it.
Yes, ethereum is very suitable for buying and retaining this coin. It is constantly needed as a means to pay for transactions, if dealt with  tokens or simply to participate in the companies generosity ICO. After all, more than 90 protsotov all ICO conducted exactly on the platform ethereum.
In addition, now it is very profitable to invest in ethereum not only because it is very cheap right now on the eve of the market's rise, but also because Plasma will soon be introduced into it, which will allow ethereum to solve the problems with scalability and then the price of this coin will increase greatly.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold your ETH until cross 1k on: July 28, 2018, 03:48:02 AM
Every body know that eth growth already start. It's long time eth was rest. Now it's time to run for ETH. I was post long time ago for buy eth. Those is buy they are already in profit. Form now eth is up trends and it will cross 1k very soon. I expect eth will cross 1.5K within 3 month. So I feel you can hold it for little time.

Note: I just share my own idea. Please research yourself before buy or hold. Every trade is risky.
In three months, that is, by August, most likely, ethereum will not reach the rate of a thousand dollars, because the general rise of the crypto-currency market has not yet been observed, but this time will soon come. Most likely, it will be already with the beginning of autumn, or even a little later. Ethereum is good in both short-term and long-term prospects. It depends on the specific situation on the market.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not invest now , wait on: July 28, 2018, 03:37:15 AM
This is not entirely accurate. Even now, there are good ICO projects, which quite successfully end and collect the necessary funds. Just need to correctly and successfully choose such a project. Of course, now many expect an autumn to wait for the growth of the crypto-currency market. This is even done by the ICO teams, which, I see, are now starting the ICO and stretching it until October-November, when the market should already rise, so that the completion of the project was successful.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who make ICO coin down? this is my opinion. on: July 28, 2018, 03:21:05 AM
Yes, you are absolutely right. Many investors who buy tokens in the ICO at a discount of 50 percent, immediately after listing this token on the exchange, sell them and receive huge profits. From this, the rate of this token falls. In addition, it must also be taken into account that the ICO team, in order to increase interest in its token, intentionally overstates the value of its tokens and when they appear on the exchange, they immediately fall in price.
1690  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: July 27, 2018, 05:49:17 AM
Apparently, until the fall, we will have about the same behavior of bitcoin, as it is now. He will rise a little and fall in his price with a slight general rise. From the second half of autumn, I think, there will be a growth of bitcoin and other crypto-currencies. How fast such growth will be, it is still difficult to say. I do not think that it will be great. Depending on the specific circumstances, it will be in the range of 15 000 - 25 000 dollars.
1691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin for $1 Million !!! In ten years? on: July 27, 2018, 05:32:29 AM
I think that bitcoin will never cost one million dollars. This is not really practical, although it may be in theory on schedule it can be. There are many factors that will constantly prevent the growth of bitcoin to such great heights. And what is the growth of bitcoin in price in such limits? This is purely speculative demand, which reflects a temporary situation. It can not be permanent. Therefore, the volatility of bitcoin will increase, and with it the possibility of panic among investors will increase. This will not allow a large increase in the price of bitcoin.
1692  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: July 24, 2018, 04:48:13 PM
Of course, money laundering is also possible through bitcoin. However, one should take into account that bitcoin is only relatively anonymous and that specialists with a great desire can, with a successful combination of circumstances, reach a concrete holder of bitcoins. For money laundering, coins with a higher degree of anonymity are used. According to the conducted studies, bitcoin is used for illegal activities from within one to ten percent of cases.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is falling. This numbers will blow your mind. on: July 23, 2018, 05:28:55 PM
The figures above do not mean much. The rate of ethereum may decrease more than bitcoin, and also not correspond to its growth. However, this is all temporary and volatile and does not reflect real statistics. I do not think that ethereum now loses its popularity and importance. Recently, there have been problems with the scalability of this coin and the level of gas when making transactions. This problem, of course, exists, because the number of transactions in ethereum is constantly increasing. This problem can soon be radically solved by implementing the Plasma project in the ethereum, which will enable this coin to have a scalability of hundreds of thousands of transactions per second instead of the current fifteen. Therefore, I think that you should not pay attention to these temporary difficulties of this coin.
1694  Economy / Economics / Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption. on: July 23, 2018, 04:24:54 PM
The transparent nature of the cryptocurrency industry is one of the Paramount reasons why politicians are kicking hard from all angles against it.Well,I am glad that despite all these agialtations, the industry moves on .One day full potentials will be established. Share your views.
The government thinks least of all that the crypto currency can somehow influence the situation with corruption. In any case, the financing of the economy will always be in ordinary currency and therefore corruption will always be. The most important thing for any government is that they can not control the decentralized crypto currency.
1695  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!!!! on: July 22, 2018, 01:34:42 PM
If you earned $ 110,000 in trade with the crypto currency, then you realized the possibility of good earnings in the crypto currency. In any case, you could use future earned coins and tokens simply for further long-term retention, that is, to switch to earnings with a lower risk level. Since you did not do it in time, I conclude that you made a mistake in trading somewhere. It happens. I think you can still catch up with your experience. The main thing is not to despair and not to do stupid actions on the way out of the crypto currency.
1696  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain will help Economy. on: July 22, 2018, 01:16:14 PM
Yes, blockchein will greatly help the economy of each state, especially where it is necessary to safely and openly store large databases. Such a need for blockchein technology will be required in many cases.
It is noteworthy that the Chinese government, although it has developed a two-year program to completely ban decentralized crypto currency, but issues the largest number of patents for the introduction of blockchein technology.
1697  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Future of Economy! on: July 22, 2018, 12:49:25 PM
Now we can see some countries are regulating bitcoin and some government don't like it.Otherwise Bitcoin hasn't a stable price.
So my question is can bitcoin be a main currency of world economy?
In order for bitcoin to become the main currency of the world economy, it is first of all necessary that bitcoin possess the best qualities of currency, that is, it would be stable in price, have instant and practically free transactions, be recognized by the currency by all or most countries of the world. Bitcoin does not possess these qualities. It even in general very badly performs the function of currency, because it is mainly used as a means of accumulating value. In its own way, it does not suit the role of the world currency badly.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC parabolic bull run will not happen everytime on: July 21, 2018, 02:28:18 PM
we don't know what will happen but what I think is bitcoin price will continue to increase from the foreseeable years to come and it will be a roller coaster ride every time because not all is ready for the technology of bitcoin some are fearful for the risk and some are ready to risk because they are believing that bitcoin is capable.
I agree that this year, perhaps, we will not see a good rise in the price of bitcoin as we would like. It is possible that its price will be in the range of 14 000 - 18 000 dollars. Simply, people will already be cautious with buying bitcoin, the code will again be approaching $ 20,000 by December. Even in all will be fresh in memory than it ended in the previous year.
Riding on a roller coaster with bitcoin, we still have, and more than once. Some will be delighted with this, others will lose again. These are the laws of the market.
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Ma, Anti Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2018, 02:14:49 PM
I do not think that Jack Ma told us something new that we did not see and did not know. In my opinion, now any sane person will say that in December last year bitcoin proved to be a financial bubble, the consequences of which we feel to this day. If it were not pumped up then we would have a much larger cost of bitcoin.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy Privacy Privacy! on: July 20, 2018, 05:59:53 PM
Privacy is not stressed enough in crypto world! Every information is made public. No real working app can be built until the privacy problem is solved!
The level of confidentiality of bitcoin is not complete, however it is enough to hide the name of its holders from prying eyes. As far as I know, now they are going to raise the confidentiality of bitcoin and information on the number of coins in the bitcoin purse will be further hidden. This, in principle, is good, since wallets with large bags in bitcoin will not be subjected to hacker attacks so often.
