1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are spending thousands of dollars on virtual land [DECENTRALAND] on: November 30, 2018, 06:00:44 AM
This is not a new platform, so who has not seen it yet, do not be surprised. I myself personally have several plots of land in this platform that I bought for real money. Very exciting project
I still do not understand how the earth can be virtual and why it is needed at all. It is vseravno what to buy a piece of land on some planet in the distant constellation, on which humanity can not get even a few million years. Why then all this?
1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin disrupt gold. bitcoin sv disrupt bitcoin on: November 30, 2018, 05:51:22 AM
bitcoin disrupt gold. bitcoin sv disrupt bitcoin. the drop in cryptocurrency could it had come from the fork? most likely. dumping gold for bitcoin. now ppl are dumping  bitcoin for bitcoin sv. peer to peer digital money. proof of work. thats how i see it. 20 billion gone from bitcoin. loys of damages . well bitcoin sv so fast so big.
I think this opinion is wrong. Bitcoin is not able to destroy gold. Gold has always been, is and will be the unshakable value at all times. Bitcoin and another cryptocurrency will slightly reduce the demand for gold and no more.
Also, there is no overflow of significant capital from Bitcoin to Bitcoin SV. The current price condition of Bitcoin is still caused by the correction after the December increase.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: November 29, 2018, 05:42:55 AM
KYC checks give nothing for headhunters except headaches, while taking away a lot of nerves and health. Now many ICO projects in a hurry are beginning to do such a check without some preparation, hastily, in the ICO process or even after its completion. There are no specific, clear and clear forms to fill it out. Even in this project, whose signature I wear, they offer to undergo a KYC check by filling out a form to buy their tokens as investors, and then click on some button “send a KYC check”, but I don’t find such a button. Therefore, we have to be nervous, because I have been participating in the project for three months already, and if I don’t send KYC, I won’t get any earned tokens. Who needs it.
In general, I consider any KYC checks against bounty hunters to be illegal, but if they are carried out, they should be carried out only when joining the ICO generosity campaign, as some require the provision of information that is sometimes impossible to imagine. For example, proof of place of residence at the specified place of registration, but not all live in the place of their own registration. Many study, work, temporarily stay and live in other places and cannot provide such evidence. And there are many such cases.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only? on: November 29, 2018, 05:20:23 AM
Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?
Yes, it was always a good idea, certain ICO projects have been paying Bitcoin for a long time, and these projects recruit bounty hunters in a matter of hours, as they always have a limit on the number of participants in the ICO generosity campaign. Such projects pay a certain amount of bitcoins monthly or even weekly. That is, there are certain guarantees that you will not work for many months and get nothing as a result. If any of the bounty hunters wants to get the tokens of this ICO project, in any case they can also buy these tokens on a common basis as ordinary investors with big bonuses.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull market soon? Or a trap? 🤔 on: November 28, 2018, 08:27:53 PM
I am expecting a trap and an anger from the traders, afterward, the price is starting to make a move.
as we can see, the price is increasing for more than 10% because of a news that came from Nasdaq. Even after that good news came up from Nasdaq, the price is only increasing for just 10%. That means, people still afraid of it and still under pressure.
Capitulation is at its finest right now, and I expect something from the capitulator after the price is increasing for more than 15%.
Now bitcoin and ethereum show an increase of 15 percent. Moreover, Bitcoin increased in price to $ 4337, and ethereum to $ 123. This is a very good indicator of growth for the last day. We hope that the same trend will continue. Perhaps we can still see a good bull market by the end of this year.
1486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run in december on: November 28, 2018, 08:12:18 PM
We are 4 days from the last month of the year( December). There have been a lot of predictions of a possible bull run in December. The market prices are low right now compared to about two months ago.

Are you still positive there is going to be a bull run?
Right now, bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency grows very well in price, so it is quite possible that in December we can wait for the bull market. Now Bitcoin has increased in price to $ 4337, and ethereum to $ 123. Let's see how the cryptocurrency market will behave in the coming days. While this is very good and encouraging news.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I need KYC for generosity? on: November 27, 2018, 07:12:09 PM
I think KYC is a great process to protect the ICO investors from different cheaters that want to scam or to trick other investors or the team members. But on the other hand, it is very risky to send you private info to a project, because nobody knows what they are doing with this info.
Something I can not understand how a KYC check can protect investors from scammers or can the ICO team protect them? In my opinion, there is no correlation between the KYC verification and the protection of the rights of investors, as well as the ICO team. So far the biggest scammers here are ICO teams that cheat both investors and participants in the ICO generosity campaign.
In our case, the KYC check is used by the ICO teams in order not to pay the tokens earned by us. How should I regard the behavior of the ICO team, when after the completion of the ICO the KYC check is announced, I indicate my confidential data, and in response I get a message that I did not pass the KYC check because I am a minor. At the same time in checking KYC, I indicated my age of forty. Isn't that a scam?
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support the idea that ICO's are killing the crypto market? on: November 27, 2018, 06:53:26 PM
ICO projects, on the contrary, increase people's awareness of cryptocurrency and make it more popular. Although the tokens created as a result of this activity are in many cases useless, in general, they greatly help the development of cryptocurrency as a whole. There are a lot of frauds among ICO teams now, however this is a temporary problem. With the advent of government regulation, this problem should disappear.
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I need KYC for generosity? on: November 26, 2018, 07:32:15 PM
While I do not personally agree on bounty or airdrop hunters being required to pass KYC, I also understand the reason for doing so. We all know that there are some who will always try to abuse these campaigns just to get more bounty rewards.
In order to resolve an issue with multiple accounts, it is not necessary to violate our privacy rights. To do this, simply check the accounts by IP-address. The KYC verification does not solve this problem all the same, since you can use the data of your relatives and friends with their consent and some help.
In fact, KYC checks against bounty hunters are now being conducted to a greater extent so as not to pay the tokens we earn.
1490  Economy / Economics / Re: Would blockchain technologies continue Its development without cryptocurrency? on: November 26, 2018, 07:23:47 PM
As we all know chain block technologies are the foundation of the cryptocurrency and chain block technologies can develop without the cryptocurrency.

Is this possible happen in the future? If so, how?
Of course, blockchain technology is evolving and will be developed without cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is one of the uses of this blockchain technology. The technology itself is independent of cryptocurrency and can be used wherever large databases need to be safely stored online. It is no coincidence that it is in China, where there are various obstacles to the circulation of cryptocurrency, at the same time, the largest number of patents for the introduction of this blockchain technology is issued.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: November 26, 2018, 07:06:54 PM
I have read many posts of people saying they are sorry to have missed Bitcoin. But I wonder if they realise that there have been more than 20 trains out there that could have made them millionaires.

They have managed to miss at least all these, some of them as recent as July last year. It is not that you missed Bitcoin, is that you (and I) just missed many many others Roll Eyes

NXT          2013-09-28            +1084215%
IOTA         2015-11-25            +418179%
Neo           2015-10-01           +354482%
Ethereum   2014-07-22           +265772%

And the recent ones...
Populous      2017-06-24          +12181%
QTUM          2017-03-12           +10091%

Be honest to yourself... you did have a chance!
It seems that another train approached us. We almost returned the opportunity in some way to start all over again. Prices fell to disgrace. However, anyone can again take a ticket for this train at a very low price. We don’t know how many such opportunities there will be, but it would be better not to miss this opportunity.
1492  Economy / Economics / Re: Markets See Massive Sell-Off, Bitcoin Dips Below $5,600 for the First Time 2018 on: November 23, 2018, 06:04:19 AM
For the time being we see that the cryptoa currency continues to fall steadily in price. And this is at the end of November, when we almost a year expected this time as the last hope for the recovery of the cryptocurrency market.
Bitcoin, according to CoinMarketCap, fell in price to $ 4,286 and has a capitalization of $ 74 billion, and ethereum has a price of only $ 124 with a capitalization of less than $ 13 billion.
Will we still see Bitcoin falling to $ 1,500?
1493  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: November 23, 2018, 05:52:52 AM
Of course, money is not only the economy, but also politics to a large extent. Who owns cash flows, and in fact the real power in the state. It has always been this way, it continues like this now. After all, people are not only striving for power in order to get only power. Power in the state is the distribution of taxes collected, the distribution of money. Therefore, politics, power and money are inseparable.
1494  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: November 22, 2018, 06:52:52 AM
There are so many scam projects going on. people are now afraid of joining ico.
1.  i think ico should be removed. because the frauds have multiplied and people are now having difficulty in distinguishing the truth.

2. if there is no money to develop the project, please do not try to project it. also from the ico when it comes to the stock market is not 3k 5k. even lower than the price you get. because the investor does not know which one to buy.

3. no one is buying token, my regimen does not want to spend 3 or 5 years. when it gets 10% higher than it bought.

4. there are hundreds of projects in each stock exchange. Someone stop them.

ICO projects do not need to be stopped, even with such a high level of fraud among them. All useless tokens will be thrown out by the market and they will die. Only promising and popular ones will remain on the market. Therefore, there is no need to worry about a large number of ICO projects and unnecessary tokens.
ICO activities need to be regulated. Either try to regulate within this ecosystem, or there should be government regulation, where the rights of investors and bounty hunters will be protected, and the fraudulent ICO teams will forever escape from this type of activity.
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This bloodbath shows that more than 95% altcoin holders were just speculators on: November 22, 2018, 06:08:28 AM
In most cases, altcoins can really be considered a speculative coin, which today still has a lot of positive aspects. It always happens in different ways, but sometimes it happens that altcoins can be considered a good start.
However, the most speculative coin is bitcoin. Not having good functional qualities, with seven transactions per second, it still has a level of capitalization with such a large margin from the rest of cryptocurrencies, because before that it had grown very well in price. This was shown by one of the polls of Bitcoin holders when they were asked if they would invest in Bitcoin if they knew that it would not increase in value. Almost everyone replied in the negative.
1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain replace bank? on: November 21, 2018, 06:08:22 PM
The current trend of blockchain is very high, couple with it's ability to execute millions transactions within seconds, few transactions cost and no third party is require or paper signing. All transactions recorded and kept open, taking alway cross border and languages barrier, excellent in e commences. So many features to change the world. My emphasis is can blockchain has the capacity to replace bank?
No, the blockchain is just technology. Technology is not able to replace a well-tuned banking system for centuries. Not able to replace the banking system and cryptocurrency. The banking system performs much more functions than the entire cryptocurrency combined can perform.
For financial relations between individuals, a simplified cryptocurrency transaction system is very important, but for business, it is the banking confirmation of the transaction that is needed to provide the audit to the tax authorities.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is a real asshole on: November 21, 2018, 05:51:56 PM
If Craig Wright is the real Satoshi, then he should make a withdrawal from the  1 million bitcoin he is holding on the bitcoin wallet that was associated with him. Withdrawal has never been made on the bitcoin address. Making withdrawal  will prove to us he is Satoshi beyond any doubt
There was information that Satoshi Nakamoto owns 1,148,800 bitcoins. I agree that only one who can confirm the possession of such a sum of bitcoins, can claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto. However, many are satisfied with the current situation with the anonymous and unidentified Satosha and, apparently, hardly anyone will prove that he is the former Satoshi Nakamoto.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobody Buying Cryptocurrency :( on: November 21, 2018, 05:35:35 PM
Now many do not quite understand what is happening in the cryptocurrency market and therefore do not take any action, others, seeing such a sharp current fall in prices for cryptocurrency, suggest that for the time being it will go down further. Perhaps that is why now there is a relative lull in the market. Some are simply shocked by such a sudden fall instead of the expected growth of the cryptocurrency market in the last months of this year. For now, we will expect how this will all end and at what level the fall in prices will stop. While one thing is clear - a significant increase in the cryptocurrency market this year is no longer foreseen.
1499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 4000$? on: November 20, 2018, 08:14:05 PM
Howdy folks
it's really clear for all of us that btc is going to 4000 usd levels, how's your portfolio right now?
what plans you're going to follow?

What plans can be now. We all expected the last months of the year and hoped that at this time the cryptocurrency would grow in value. Instead of growth, a decent further decline in the cryptocurrency market occurs. Since prices have already fallen, we have no choice but to wait patiently for a rise in the cryptocurrency market. Even if you have to wait a very long time.
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am sorry for the people on: November 20, 2018, 07:56:42 PM
I don't understand why you have to be like this. I know you're panicking but you can't just sell all your coins like that. It will ruin the market price, which will effects to others. Yes the market price has made us feel frustrated and stressful but it will be better. You have to have faith in it and not rushing into selling your coins.
However, you must admit that selling our coins in January of this year at practically peak prices was a good idea. Now it would be possible to buy these funds with probably ten times more promising coins and tokens. Of course, this is a missed opportunity. Well, next time we will be wiser. I hope it was not the last such increase in the price of cryptocurrency.
